You and your loved ones will surely be delighted by the venue’s English Haypress Barn. Constructed in 1859, the barn has been transported from Indiana to Upstate New York. It still retains an abundance of details reminiscent of its 19th-Century heritage, including exposed hand-hewn beams, a round chandelier, and large barn doors. The barn is surrounded by 23 acres of farmland, a picturesque area that provides countless photographic opportunities. After saying “I do”, you can venture into the barn to dance the night away with your friends and relatives. Enjoy a weekend full of celebration by the king sized pool and pool bar, yoga and wellness spa, our award winning restaurant, and more activities to share!
Callicoon Hills can comfortably accommodate up to 200 of your nearest and dearest. You and your partner are invited to enjoy an entire weekend of marital events here, from your rehearsal to your reception. The barn hosts celebrations from May through October, while the Farm House Room can provide the backdrop for seated gatherings all year round. As an added touch, food and beverages can be arranged courtesy of the venue’s in-house culinary team.

Callicoon Hills gave us not only our dream wedding, but they made the entire wedding weekend a memorable experience for all of our guests. Most of our guests stayed on site and to be all together in once place for the whole weekend was truly magical.
People raved about our wedding food and some said it was the best wedding food they've ever had. Chef JP is truly amazing at what he does and is an incredible human being. He was able to customize our wedding food from the welcome party to the wedding itself, he accommodated all of our requests. We asked him to roast suckling pigs and he said absolutely, no problem. We never tasted them beforehand and put our complete trust in him and we are so glad we did. The execution of those pigs at our welcome dinner was outstanding and visually amazing.
The passed apps were amazing and the servers were constantly asking our guests if they needed more food, drinks, etc all throughout the wedding.
The Callicoon Hills team is so warm, inviting, and helpful with any question you may have. It poured on our wedding day and we still wanted to keep our ceremony outdoors. The team still set up chairs in the outdoor space right before, dried them off, provided our guests with umbrellas, and was able to pull off a ceremony in the pouring rain. It was truly so magical. We'll continue to relive the weekend over and over and we recommend Callicoon Hills to any couple looking to curate a special, intimate weekend with their loved ones.

Callicoon Hills made all our dreams come true!! It was not only the most magical place to get married at, it was a fantastic location to host all our friends and family. And the staff is the best of the best, every single person at Callicoon Hills was kind and helpful and made the entire weekend incredibly fun!

My wife and I got married here in early October and it was the best experience we could have asked for. The setting and hotel itself are beautiful and provided a great place for the majority of our guests to stay. The staff is warm and inviting and always willing to help and answer any questions. Beyond that, I cannot express how good the food is. Food at a wedding is usually depressing but this was a true highlight of the weekend. Between the passed apps and the mains (the short rib is ridiculous), we maybe got more comments on JP's cooking than anything else.
If you're looking for a great inclusive place to have a beautiful and unique wedding this is it. Can't recommend it highly enough; spend a weekend there and you'll want to book it ASAP!

My now wife and I got married here 10/15 and we could not have imagined a more perfect day. We first visited the site when it was under construction, and all we saw were renderings. The place came out EXACTLY how we expected. The staff was incredible, particularly Hope. The food was not your average wedding food. The chef over at Callicoon is exceptional, and this is coming from someone who is extremely critical of cuisines. The restaurant on site, Conover Club, is hands down one of my favorites. My wife and I will be going back every few months (we live over 2.5 hours away) just for the food. I highly recommend everyone to at least spend a weekend over here, as it is magical. If you are lucky enough to reserve a wedding here, it will not disappoint.

My daughter Charisse & husband Alex had a dream wedding in August 2021. The setting was magical, all 3 days - from the Welcome dinner, to the Ceremony, the Reception and the Farewell brunch. All 170 guests were taken by the magic, the warmth and love from everybody, and the beauty of every detail. Hope did an exceptional job creating a vision, and her team executed without a flaw. Our florist, Jill Wiener, created a paradise with her artful arrangements - a topic at every table. A huge thank you to the entire Callicoon Hills team for creating the most beautiful and memorable wedding weekend for us! We were married in June 2021 and it was a truly special and unique experience!
We fell in love with the property immediately - the barn and ceremony site, the hotel rooms and amenities. The hotel staff is lovely, the property is well executed and the events team was very accommodating and helpful throughout the planning process.
Most of our guests booked rooms on the property for the entire weekend. Our Friday night welcome party was a casual BBQ in the beer garden. We hosted a poolside bar and lawn games on Saturday afternoon. Our wedding ceremony and reception took place on Saturday evening at the barn, and the afterparty at the Conover Club. Sunday morning brunch was hosted on the Sundeck. All of the food and service throughout the weekend was wonderful!

Our wedding weekend was a DREAM at Calicoon Hills. We were their first wedding ever, and they pulled everything off seamlessly. It was everything we hoped for: a picturesque environment, games, pool time, bon fires and amazing food (the chef is incredible.)
We had 100 guests, and we loved that everyone was able to stay on the property. Our guests on both sides of the wedding got to spend quality time together throughout the weekend, which made for an even more fun reception.
Each event space was perfect. The welcome party was held on the boarding house patio and lawn. The ceremony was at a gorgeous clearing in the woods near the barn. The cocktail hour was held on the barn deck, which moved right into the reception in the barn. We then moved back to the boarding house for the after party. We loved that most of our guests then changed into more comfortable clothes to continue the party, since all of the rooms were close by.
I can't recommend this venue enough. Hope and the team at Calicoon Hills are true industry professionals. Our guests were raving about the venue and staff for weeks after. We look forward to many weekend trips to Calicoon Hills!

We approached Callicoon after having to cancel our original wedding due to COVID. It was a year of huge dissapointments but Callicoon has been the light at the end of the tunnel. Hope has been amazing to work with and has put our COVID PTSD at ease. Our wedding hasn't happened yet but I know how important reviews can be during the planning process and my advice to you is...consider this location NOW! Construction is about to be completed and I can tell it will have a lot of interest for the 2022 season.
When planning our wedding, it was important for us to have our closest family and friends be able to comfortably stay and get to know each other through the wedding weekend. There are many places in the Catskills that have accommodations, but no location had enough for our huge immediate family. Callicoon has the most accommodations out of any of the other places we considered. Also, with other locations, they may have a beautiful property, but they don't have a designated event space. Without a designated event space, this requires tent rentals, outside catering, table rentals and even plate/silverware rentals. Callicoon has all of that taken care of!
We will write another review when our day arrives, but as someone who has just went through the search process, I definitely recommend considering Callicoon for your big day!
