Singularly cited for its history, truth, and beauty, it is the only venue of its kind on the Connecticut Shoreline. The Inn is handsomely decorated in every season, making it fun to choose your personal focal point at either of the double entrances, the garden gazebo, one of the floor-to-ceiling hearths, or on the best porch in town. And, there are guest rooms available to you for prepping, out-of-town guests, or the honeymoon night.

We met with the inn keeper as the owners were away when we requested a tour of the venue. It is a charming little inn and the inn keeper was extremely nice and helpful. It's also about a 10 minute walk to the beach which is great for the day after the wedding, or if you wanted to have the ceremony at the beach. Inside only seats 35 people so any more than that and you would need to rent a tent with tables and chairs for the back lawn, which is beautiful. The price however was a little above our budget ranging from 5,000- 10,000 depending on if we wanted to rent rooms, and whether we would need the outside lawn. They have 10 rooms available, and if you do not rent a room, then there is no place to change or get ready so you would definitely need to rent at least one which is about 250.
