Welcome! Carlyle Salon and Style Bar is a full service salon that specializes in wedding hair and makeup services. Carlyle is based out of Santa Barbara, CA in the downtown area. They primarily book their bridal parties in salon, but they will happily travel on location. Carlyle Salon does over 140 bridal parties a year!
The professional team at Carlyle Salon and Style Bar is passionate about providing a relaxing, memorable experience. Their team is well trained and dedicated to providing their best work for each bride. They now have a beautiful private area available for you and your party to reserve as a luxurious getting ready suite. You can choose from three special packages. Each package is customized with choices of light meals and treats. Complimentary champagne is also included.
The Corner Room offers lots of natural light, an area to lounge, a beverage bar, and an area to get dressed. The room can comfortably host 10 to 15 people. They welcome photographers and always have fresh flowers!
You can book a complimentary consultation, where you can work on discussing your dream look, and you have the option to schedule a trial hair and makeup run as well!
They are always available for questions and they are very much looking forward to meeting their future brides!

Carlyle Salon was a wonderful vendor to work with! Pricing, scheduling and day-of logistics were a breeze, and our stylists Ja'Nice and Yannely did a fantastic job of interpreting our wedding hair visions. My hair came out beautifully, and everything stayed in place all day/night! If you are looking for a hair and makeup vendor in the Santa Barbara area, I can't recommend Carlyle Salon enough!

Our makeup artist, Cynthia, and hair stylist, Ja’Nice, were amazing! They were so kind, professional, and great at what they do. All of my communication with the salon was easy and quick. Everyone was happy with their hair and makeup on our wedding day!

I absolutely loved working with Carlyle Salon. Not only did they deliver w/the perfect wedding hair, but my stylist (Corinne) was the sweetest! She was so kind to my family and fit into all the craziness of a wedding day. Their salon is adorable but they are also great at being flexible to come to on-location sites for getting ready.

We used the Corner Room at the Carlyle salon with Ja'Nice and Yannely as the stylists and had the best experience getting ready. The room itself is not only beautiful with great lighting (perfect for pictures), but also very spacious and comfortable. We had 7 people and everyone had a tons of space to sit, spread out, relax, and get ready. The salon provided tea, coffee, juice, champagne, and breakfast and the salon staff consistently checked on us to clean up and provide refills. They also had an audio system that was easy to connect to via bluetooth for setting the perfect ambiance. Ja'Nice and Yannely worked quickly and efficiently, often ahead of schedule while also creating beautiful looks for everyone. This is much better than getting a hotel and hiring hair/makeup artists to come on site. Highly recommend if you're getting married in Santa Barbara!

Carlyle Salon was the perfect place to get ready for my wedding! The Corner Room was amazing- stocked with yummy snacks, drinks, and music. Special shout out to Ja’Nice and Yannely who both did an incredible job on hair and make up for myself, my mom, and MIL. They were so sweet and executed our visions perfectly. Would absolutely recommend this salon anyone!

I knew that we would not be able to fit my whole bridal party into my tiny Santa Barbara hotel room on the morning of my wedding so I needed to look for a get-ready space. This space was recommended to me by my hair stylist Corinne and it was PERFECT! Lisa is the owner and she was so helpful- she had everything we needed from Bluetooth speakers to concealed storage to a dressing room to coffee and mimosas. And every single design choice is STUNNING- the furniture and lighting and wallpaper make for the perfect photographs. Your day will be set up for success in this space, I promise!

This was the perfect place for my wedding hair! Lisa was my stylist, and she gave me the most beautiful updo. Her stylist was so helpful and did touchups for my entire bridal party. They brought the perfect calming energy for my rainy day wedding. I highly recommend!!!

The Corner Room at Carlyle Salon was the perfect spot for my bridal party and me to get ready before my wedding! Carlyle has fantastic hair & makeup teams, but I was able to bring in my own hair & makeup gals, which worked perfectly. The reservation process was easy, communication was thorough, and the day-of experience was a dream!
The Carlyle team had the room ready for us when we arrived and it was gorgeous! They placed fresh flower arrangements inside and provided us with water, champagne, and beautiful drink ware. We were also able to bring in some of our own snacks & refreshments.
The space has perfect natural light for photos and ample seating in addition to the vanity stations with salon chairs. The room is also equipped with a sound system and you can connect your phone to play your own music. It was comfortable and cozy but felt special and elegant at the same time.
If you are looking for a great place to get ready for a wedding or other special event, look no further. The Corner Room at Carlyle Salon was an absolute dream!

I have been to the salon to get my hair done for the rehearsal dinner as well as hair and makeup for the wedding. Both experiences have been fantastic. On the first day Chandler was doing my hair. She was so nice, professional and just did an awesome Job. On the second day Jeanice was doing my hair and makeup. She was an angel and I felt like the best version of myself on that day. The results where just incredible and lasted the whole day. I would definitely recommend this to every bride!

My wife and I chose Carlyle Salon for our wedding hair and makeup, and we were THRILLED with their services. We would highly recommend them.
My wife and I brought pictures of the bridal hairstyles we wanted to our hair trials, and Lauren recreated them beautifully. She listened to what we wanted, was fun and relaxing to chat with, and made everything feel so easy on the wedding day.
I also got my makeup done by Leah, and I LOVED it! I asked for a really natural look, since I don't wear much makeup on a daily basis. Leah used individual lashes and neutral shades, and it looked perfect. On the wedding day, I asked for even more natural than the trial, and Leah nailed it. I loved that she was super receptive to my requested changes.
Our wedding parties' hair and makeup also looked amazing! Our niece (our 4-year old flower girl) had a great time getting her hair put into a braided updo.
As a same-sex couple, it's important to us to leave stellar reviews on wedding vendors who made us feel comfortable and extra welcome! The folks at Carlyle Salon did just that. They scheduled our appointments so we wouldn't see each other the morning of the wedding, just as we requested, and asked us sweet questions about the wedding and our story. We're so grateful!

I used Carlyle Salon stylists for my wedding over Labor Day weekend and they did a good job, however for some reason my stylist gave me a completely different updo than the one she created and we agreed on during my trial. As the bride, with all the hoopla surrounding me, I was too flustered and distracted to even realize what she'd done with my hair didn't match what we'd agreed on, although it still looked nice. I wanted a loose, messy side bun,but what I got was a tight, intricate bun that was centered at the base of my neck and had a large poof at the crown that featured a prominent dent once the veil came off. :( I think the part that threw me off was that the front had the loose look I wanted, so again, with all the chaos around me I looked in the mirror and said "great". I can't help but be disappointed in receiving a look that did not fit my personality or desired look for my special day; I'm not sure what happened! However, the style was good-looking, so the stylists here are indeed talented. I would just recommend communicating clearly with your stylist and making sure what you receive the day-of is what you asked for.

Ellie and team were amazing. They got my bridesmaids and mom made up and styled so quickly. I got married on the beach and everyone's hair held and the make up looked beautiful at the end of the night. Ellie was wonderful! She made my makeup natural looking, but enough to stand our during photos. I brought in a few photos of what I wanted my hair to look like and she brought it to life. They were fun and did a wonderful job!

I went to Carlyle Salon for my wedding hair and makeup as well as my mom and sister's and we all loved the way our styles turned out. Ashton did my hair and Rose did my makeup and I cannot recommend them more highly. Not only did they both do an amazing job with both my hair and makeup but they are both awesome people to talk with and put me at ease on my wedding day. They really listened to what I wanted and made sure that they gave me exactly the look I wanted. The salon itself is so cute and inviting, and they always offer you water, coffee, or mimosas when you come in! You really feel like you are being pampered when you come in here and leave feeling great. I also felt like the prices were some of the better ones I've seen for bridal/wedding party hair and makeup. Would definitely recommend any of the stylists at Carlyle for your beauty needs.

I chose Carlyle Salon for my bridal hair and makeup as recommended by my wedding planner and I was so happy I did that! Ashton gave me the exact hair I wanted to have on my wedding day and Rose did a beautiful job with my makeup! They are both such sweethearts! I felt bad because the hotel room where I was getting ready was tiny and filled with my bridal party (it was so crammed and hot) and both of the girls were such troopers working around the craziness and still managing to make me look my most beautiful! Rose also did my moms makeup and mom looked stunning as well! Highly recommend this dream team for your wedding!
