We knew from the start of planning our wedding, that we wanted to do something unique and different for guests to enjoy during reception. Caricatures were always the front runner option, and after doing some research, we knew that Jon Casey Caricatures was exactly what we had in mind! The reviews were great, their response time was quick, and they fit into our budget. They filled out the necessary forms our venue needed, and were added to their approval list! For a guest list of 200 people, we had 2 artists for 3 hours during our reception and the full 3 hours were PACKED with guests. I knew people would enjoy it, but I had no idea how much of a hit it would be! There was always a steady line, but the artists were working quick to make sure everyone was able to get their caricature done. They even let the bride and groom sneak to the front of the line to get a quick one done :) Everyone had a blast, the artists were personable and polite -- our guests really enjoyed themselves! Also, this wasn't just a standard black and white paper and pen caricature (which they offer as an option as well), but we had them do their digital service where they draw the caricature in color on a tablet, and have them printed out right then and there for guests to take with them! I would recommend them to anyone looking for something fun for guests to enjoy during any event, whether it be corporate, wedding, or dinner party!

Jon is punctual, professional, extremely talented and very personable. His drawings of people or pets bring forth recognizable personal characteristics and are colorful and fun. Jon is highly recommended as a entertaining addition to any social event. People line up to spend a very few minutes having their likeness drawn with skill and personal attention. If you think Jon would be fun for your event, you are correct, so book him early before another client gets your special date.

Jon Casey completed a variety of art and illustration projects for me between 2013 and 2015. He's an extremely talented caricaturist and illustrator, but more important he's professional (rare trait given his skill set), and an outstanding communicator. I couldn't recommend Jon more highly.

Jon is a real professional! He shows up early, he is very thoughtful, polite and he brought fun and smiles to many of my guests! I would highly recommend Jon for his professional services with his great caricature talent!

This review is written as a colleague not as a client. I have worked together with Jon at a number of high-end events. He is not only an excellent artist but he is professional, punctual and his courteous personality is a joy. He is continually updating his equipment so that he maintains state of the art tablets, printers and monitors, the mainstays of digital caricature drawing. He tests out and new drawing programs as they come out and stays on top of the best ones to use t events. Sometimes large events can get chaotic with hundreds or thousands of guests but Jon always keeps a cool head.

My husband and I hired Jon to draw caricatures at our wedding in Healdsburg, CA in 2011. It was hands down the best addition to our wedding. Our guests loved their drawings and the line was long all night long! Even today, almost 6 years later, our friends still tell us how much they love their caricature. Jon was very professional and responded to my emails right away. He draws the caricatures on a tablet, which allows for immediate printing for the guests and a digital copy of every caricature for us to have. Looking back at the photos after the wedding, my husband and I could tell exactly who everyone was. They were all spot on! I would highly recommend hiring Jon for your next wedding or event. Worth every penny!

Jon is an extremely talented caricature artist. He captures the best of people in his art. The work I purchased from him looked like ourselves just funnier, happier and 10x better than reality ;) I hired Jon to make caricatures of many family members for our website. It was incredibly special. So many people commented on his work. Also if you have a pet he is really good with animals. It was a fun experience for all and I would definitely hire him again.

I challenged Jon far out of his comfort zone to illustrate my website: Twenty separate and unique Character Portraits from the novel Shadow Men. These were not simplistic caricatures, but rather complex personality studies based only on a concept and a description. Jon had to utilize his talent and imagination to complete to the assignment, and he performed wonderfully. He is an extraordinary artist with a variety of styles and tactics at his disposal. Highly recommended!
