Casino at Lakemont Park

The Casino at Lakemont is a very beautiful location, they made everything extremely easy. Two days before the wedding, when brides are typically running around like chickens with their heads cut off, I was seeing my family and friends, getting pampered. I did not have to worry about the reception, setting up the space or anything. Two days before we handed everything over to the coordinator, and we were finished.

We chose the Casino because of size it could hold and the look. I wanted an elegant wedding reception and I truly had one. Vicky took care of everything for me. We had numerous meetings prior to the event and she was always a call away. The Thursday before the wedding we met and gave them all of the decorations and favors and that was the last i had to worry about the reception. The day of the wedding we got there about a half an hour before we thought we would and they let us in to see everything before the guest. My breath was taken away. I never thought that someone could take my vision and make it even more beautiful then i expected. The tables were amazing, the window displays showcased us as a couple, i couldn't ask for more. The night started with toasts and the cake. We got our cake through the Casino and it was more beautiful then the picture i showed them (and delish). The dinner was amazing. We chose the buffet and we served seated. The amount of food that the bridal party recieved was amazing. The plate was over following. All the guests commented on how good the food was. The night just flowed along, and even though they were techincally done after dinner, they didn't stop helping. Someone was always asking me if they could get me a drink or anything. Sadly the night ended and i didn't have to worry about clean up. We helped package up the centerpieces (more so we didn't have to come back the next morning) but everything else was taken care of. They had my cake and a pan of food also packaged and ready to go. Words can not explain how amazing the staff at the Casino are! They made me reception one that everyone enjoyed!

Everything was absolutely perfect. They went above and beyond. My mothers EXPENSIVE M.O.B dress ripped in 2 places after the ceremony!!! It wasnt even tight where this happened. The girls there took my mother upstairs and fixed her dress for her as soon as she got to the reception. It wasnt there problem but for them to take it upon themselves to fix my moms dress so she could enjoy her daughters wedding was a huge show of character. I truely believe that they treat every wedding like it was there own.

This was a wonderful venue. We had the ceremony outside by the fountain (which was beautiful) and the reception in the Soho Room. It is pretty much all inclusive. The $ per person includes not only the food, but setup, cleanup, dishes, linens, everything! I showed up a few days before the wedding with decorations, programs, etc., and then I arrive the day of, and everything is complete! We even had them do our cake! They went above and beyond with the decorations, they were very creative. They walked us through the entire day and took care of us. It was a very stress-free (as much as it can be) wedding day. I would absoultely recommend them!

The staff was so wonderful to work with!!! Vicki and Sharon obviously know what they're doing. I would trust these two women with any event. We brought in boxes of candles organza pictures etc and they put everything together better than I could have ever hoped for. The meal was wonderful (or so I heard...I only had a chance to eat a few bites)!

The atmosphere and the size. There was plenty of room to move around.;The manager is arrogant.
