Located in the heart of the historic Ballard area, Cathedral is a beautifully modern, industrial-style venue perfect for weddings in Seattle, WA. This space is a short walk to the waterfront, with other local amenities nearby, including restaurants, cafes, markets, and bars. It is Seattle's only event space that donates all of the profits to charity. So, not only will you be able to live out the wedding of your dreams, but you can also feel good knowing you are helping a good cause.
This historic two-floor, 4000-square-foot space features exquisite finishes, marble bar tops on both floors and authentic exposed brick. From private parties and corporate meetings to fundraisers and wedding receptions, the Cathedral can accommodate up to 170 guests for a cocktail-style event or up to 120 guests seated. For smaller occasions, you can decide to solely use the downstairs or the upstairs so the event space can match your special day. With a full kitchen also on site, you can bring in a caterer and bar service of your choosing and give them the space they need to make your event extraordinary. The kitchen has a prep table, convection oven, 6-burner range, and coffee maker.
They offer a range of rental packages to ensure you get everything you need. Whether you'd prefer a full-day, partial, or hourly rental, they will provide enough time to set everything up perfectly. The packages include complimentary candles, built-in tables and bar stools, chairs, round and bistro tables, banquet tables, TVs, an ice machine, glassware, and an onsite host to assist in any way they can. When the evening celebrations begin, they have a high-quality sound system that connects to an iPhone, iPod, or laptop, and microphones are available so you and your loved ones can party in style. He is the founder of Cathedral, a community-focused event venue, and Spir Candle Co., a mission-driven candle company that creates opportunities for growth and empowerment. Spir Candle Co. exclusively employs young men with past incarceration, offering mentorship, job training, and a supportive environment to help them rebuild their lives.
Since 2018, Nate’s businesses have worked with over 60 young men and provided more than 11,000 hours of employment. Their story and mission have been featured on KIRO 7, KING 5, and FOX 13, highlighting the impact of his work. Passionate about social good, Nate remains committed to fostering second chances and making a lasting difference.
