We chose Cedarbrook Lodge for our wedding ceremony and could not be happier with our choice.
LeAnn assisted us from start to finish, was very responsive throughout the process, and was instrumental in our wedding going as well as it did. The venue was fantastic and was so accommodating when weather didn't allow us to have our ceremony outdoors. Every single one of the staff we interacted with was kind and helpful. The food was amazing and we have gotten numerous friends say that it was the best wedding meal that the have had.
If you are looking at a wedding venue in Seattle, I promise you will be happy with this one.
We booked with Cedarbrook in early 2019, but finally got married April 2022!
Cedarbrook was amazing working with us and allowing us to postpone our wedding multiple times. They now have Cassandra as the wedding coordinator, but we also worked alot with Whitney.
The Venue is beautiful. Lots of photo locations, cherry blossoms, and tall trees. It truly feels like a hidden gem. I personally never noticed planes flying above at all. They also offer great indoor and outdoor ceremony and coco Lysol hour locations
Food was delicious. We did the classic buffet for our guests. However they don’t offer a tasting for the food, and you have to use their in house restaurant Copperleaf. However you can make specific food requests for extra fee.
Setting up the Room Block was a bit frustrating, and the discount was only $20 off the $200 rooms, but again, they were very flexible helping us look up names of guests when the group code wasn’t working, and extending the cutoff date.
Warning for videographer, probably can’t get drone footage since you are so close to the airport.
All that said I absolutely loved my wedding at Cedarbrook and I feel they did the MOST in making me feel comfortable and excited for the big day!
I am beyond thrilled that we had our wedding at the Cedarbrook Lodge. LeAnn was amazing to work with - she was organized, communicative, and laid back. The actual day was seamless - the ceremony and reception were both at the Cedarbrook and the place looked stunning! The on-site florist, Laura, created beautiful bouquets and arrangements. The on-site catering was raved about after the wedding. We would absolutely recommend booking the Cedarbrook Lodge for a wedding ceremony and/or reception.
Cedarbrook Lodge was the perfect venue for our wedding. We've stayed there before and loved the amenities, ambience, food, and wonderful service of the staff. The location is super convenient and to have plenty of onsite parking was also a huge plus to us. After having our special day here, our love and appreciation for Cedarbrook only grew.
From the moment we inquired about having our wedding at Cedarbrook, the staff was responsive and there to answer all of our questions. It was great working with a team that had our best interests at heart. It was nice to know that the acclaimed kitchen staff from the amazing Copperleaf Restaurant would be taking care of our catering needs, which was one less thing to worry about during our wedding planning.
The day of our wedding, it was raining. We were glad to have the option of moving our wedding indoors, but were pretty set on having it outside on the beautiful Evergreen Lawn. It wasn't looking too good for us as it was raining constantly, but we decided that we were going to have an outdoor wedding. Brian from Set-Up changed course on a dime and beautifully set up for our ceremony to be on the lawn.
The Tamarack Hall was beutifully decorated and set up for our reception and the food was excellent. Three months after our wedding, we still hear compliments on the food and venue from our guests. Our guests loved all the amenities that Cedarbrook offered, from the clean guest rooms, living room areas with free snacks, Copperleaf Restaurant to the Spa. The staff was friendly and helpful all around (Front Desk, Valet, Housekeeping, Banquet, etc.). The attention to detail I think is what sets Cedarbrook Lodge apart from the rest. We cannot recommend Cedarbrook Lodge enough for your wedding needs! Thank you Cedarbrook!
Tera, the Cedarbrook specialist, provided me with the option to create my own unique menu, which everyone loved. I got rave reviews on the food. Tera was an excellent communicator, and a really good resource. The venue was really close to the airport, so it was really easy to leave straight from the free room we received as part of our booking! I rarely heard "no" or "it can't be done" regardless of the obstacle.
Cedarbrook was absolutely perfect! My husband's family flew in from the midwest so having a close proximity to the airport was essential. Most of them didn't need to rent a car because of the complimentary shuttle. It really isn't your typical "airport hotel", the grounds were stunning! Everything about the place made you feel like you were on a resort. There were even snack rooms scattered throughout the buildings where you could have free ice cream and Tim's chips, I thought this was an espeically nice touch because so many of our guests stayed for multiple nights.
The main event coordinator, Terra, was so much fun to work with! She always responded to my emails right away and was always accomodating to the different ideas I had. She also let us hand out "Welcome to Seattle" bags as our guests checked in. The rest of the staff were just as sweet! On the night of the wedding some of our friends received a noise complaint, instead of shutting down the celebration they just asked them to take over the lounge area where they wouldn't disturb other guests.
The food, WOW! Everything was so delicious. We had a buffet for the main supper, I didn't hear a single complaint from any of our guests! Towards the end of the night, we had 20 dozen hot wings (my husband is a little obsessed) brought out for a late night snack. The chef even made a special sweet chili sauce for half of them!
I really can't say enough nice things about Cedarbrook, it was truly perfect. I hope to stay here when we come back to visit my family!
Working with Terra and team was great. Terra was responsive to emails and also patient with all the questions I had. We met a few times and also was open more in person meetings if needed. Whenver questions came up, Terra was detailed in explaining the information.
We had a special request for food and Terra was willing to accommodate and work my requests.
The venue and space was beautiful. We had our wedding right after Thanksgiving and they decorating with exterior lighting and wreaths. It also snowed this day and was beautiful inside and out.
Long story short, I met with Terra at Cedarbrook after my initial wedding venue informed me 5 months before the wedding that they would be closing.
Terra went above and beyond every step of the way. She empathized with my situation and took every step to match the package that I had with the other venue. And then some. She was friendly to work with, and meetings along the way were fun as well. Terra was on site day of; ensuring things were executed along with my wedding coordinator.
Cedarbrook is an amazing venue, the quality of food was impeccable and the staff was very friendly.
We held our wedding at Cedarbrook Lodge and could not have been happier. The on-site coordinator, Terra Johnson, was fabulous to work with both planning prior to the wedding and on the day itself. The grounds are perfect for an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. And, the food was fantastic. We were so pleased with this venue and definitely recommend it to others looking for a site for their wedding.
Cedarbrook is all around perfect. Our theme was rustic/modern, so the venue itself was perfect for the theme (we had an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception). From the moment you drive into the venue, you are struck with a sense of peace and calm, which works wonders with the bridal party and guests. The food is GREAT (we still get compliments), and they really work with you to provide a perfect menu for your guests (we had many vegetarians in my party, so needed a well-rounded menu for all types of eaters). Compared to other venues, we found the prices at Cedarbrook more than reasonable. We had 150 guests and was able to order a ton of food since we didn't want to offer any alcohol. Compared to other Venue + In-house Caterer sites, Cedarbrook food is not only top of the line but affordable, and it relieved a ton of stress to not worry about rentals, caterers, set-up crew, etc. Also, we were able to get a discount since we had booked our wedding on a Sunday. We have heard of others comment that there are a ton of noise from airplanes flying by, but none flew over our site in the hour that we had the ceremony. Oh, and Terra is absolutely wonderful too! She works really hard to keep you in the loop and make your day special without any pressure. All in all, we definitely love Cedarbrook and look forward to staying there for getaways!
This is a great venue and Terra the wedding coordinator for Cedarbrook was incredibly helpful the entire way and especially on the day of. She was easily accessible the whole day and very accommodating with everything and had a solution for everything which made the wedding day run very smoothly! The venue itself is gorgeous tucked away in the woods and no one would ever believe you were by the airport. The food is amazing! The service is great! Not a single staff member will make you stress in your wedding day! Great venue, great service! If I could do it again, Cedarbrook would be the location of choice again!!
The Cedarbrook lodge is a stunning venue to have your wedding. We got married on December 29, so it was a "winter themed" wedding. Both our ceremony and reception were indoors and we couldn't have asked for a more gorgeous "lodge-like" atmosphere to bring our guests into and out of the cold. The staff at the hotel are amazing, responsive and courteous. No matter the request, it was done in 5 minutes for us. Even on the day of. Terra, the site's wedding coordinator is outstanding and very helpful for a bride-to-be! The only complaint we had was that our food came out a little later than planned during the reception. I'm sure just making certain you have a strict timeline for dinner beforehand would alleviate this. The food was excellent by the way! I would have my wedding here a million times over. No regrets about this venue! Excellent choice for anyone wanting a unique, and rather new venue for their wedding.
great venue
My wedding here was beyond my expectations- the beauty of the setting was just what we were loking for.
I booked a suite at Cedarbrook to stay the night before the wedding, as well as to have a central location for all of my bridesmaids and family to come to have their hair and makeup done before the wedding. Cedarbrook is a SeaTac hotel that doesn’t look or feel like an airport hotel! The grounds are relaxing, and the suite was perfect! They even have a lounge in every building with complimentary fruit, snacks, ice cream and water – what a treat!! A couple of my bridesmaids had problems with their room (3 adults in a room with 1 queen bed and a chair?) that resulted in a bit of stress, but it was rectified after escalation. I’ll be recommending Cedarbrook going forward, as a reasonably priced central airport.
