We love Chalmers! Such a good experience!! My fiancé and I went to Chalmers to pick out my engagement ring. We designed a custom engagement ring that has an intricate band and a pear diamond. John helped us find the perfect diamond and helped us customize the ring from start to finish. He did an amazing job! I am so happy and get compliments all the time!

The jewelry that we purchased from Chalmer's is absolutely amazing and so gorgeous! My husband bought my engagement ring from them and had such a great experience that we returned to buy our wedding bands there. The staff is so helpful - they take into account your budget and suggest items for you but are not pushy or aggressive at all. They truly just want you to be happy!

As a child I would receive a pearl for my birthday. When my now husband & I were discussing the idea of giving each other gifts on our wedding I asked him to make a bracelet out of the pearls I had in a bag. He went to a nationwide jeweler with 27 different sized pearls and little design ideas he wanted. The experience he had was negative. Not giving up hope he then went to Chalmers and had a 180 degree experience. Bryan sat down with him and they were able to discuss possible ideas. They were able to build a beautiful bracelet in a short time frame & under budget.

My husband and I are so happy we chose to work with Chalmers for our wedding rings. We worked with both Sue and Travis and their service was exceptional! They helped my husband to pick out the perfect engagement ring and we later worked with them to custom design my husband's wedding band. I also purchased a watch for my husband as a wedding gift. We loved working we Chalmers. We had a very very particular request for a custom piece. We asked for my husband’s ring to be made out of a very specific metal and crafted through a specific process. Garrett and Chad kept us in the loop every step. They went out of their way to get new tools, look into best practices, and consult with us to be sure that it was everything we wanted. They also had appraisals at the ready for us when we picked up to make sure that we could get our prices insured right away. We will be back for any future jewelry needs.

We got my engagement ring and our wedding rings from Chalmers and could not have been happier. We couldn't find the right ring in the case, so we ended up designing a custom one that combined elements of two rings we saw. They were so nice and didn't rush us in to deciding. We went back to design a custom wedding band to go with my engagement ring, and got to watch them use their design software. And they gave us a tour of where they make the rings!

If you are thinking about wedding rings and you are near Middleton/Madison, we cannot recommend Chalmers Jewelers enough! I am a stickler for detail and ask a billion questions about everything. They happily let me ask away and answered everything thoroughly. Not once did anyone make me feel like I was being annoying. They encouraged me to be exacting because they want the ring to be precisely what you want at the end. You are keeping it forever, after all! My ring was a custom make based off of one I saw online. Their designer, Garrett, made that vision come to life and it was even better than I imagined! I'm still looking at it every day thinking, "Gosh I have a pretty ring!" It's unique and uniquely me. My fianceé (now wife) wasn't as sure about what she wanted at the start and she went through a few different rings till we found the meteorite ring. Then she knew exactly how she wanted it done. The Chalmers sales staff were super helpful with suggestions and being the go-between for us and the ring manufacturer. They were always on top of things and very quick to get back to us and we really appreciated it! Now my wife tells me she loves the ring more than she ever thought she would because it's so different from the standard rings she felt blah about. Her ring is meteorite wrapped in cobalt. It's definitely different and cool, but still the right amount of polished and definitely high quality. Kristyn and Bryan (the bow-tie guy) were the staff we worked with and we just sent them a couple wedding photos! Kristyn was the person who helped us most, but we interacted with Bryan as well. And every time we went into the store, everyone on the staff was super friendly and made us feel incredibly welcome. That was also very important to us as a queer couple. From the designer to the jewelers to the sales people, we were both super impressed and completely satisfied by their work and customer service. We left with our rings feeling like we had new best friends! You can bet that the next time we're thinking of anything jewelry related, we'll be going to them! Oh! And P.S. The white gold and rose gold in my ring are both nickle-free/allergy free. I'm so glad I won't ever have to worry about that being an issue with my ring. My dad had his ring cut off his finger years and years ago. I'm so happy to know my beautiful ring will never cause me problems and I'll get to enjoy it forever.

My husband and I got my engagement ring and both of our wedding bands from Chalmers. Kristyn Hubacher was so nice and easy to work with! She set everything up with the jeweler, sent us pictures of the renderings to make sure we were happy with the ring before it was made and checked in with us a lot to make sure we were happy with everything. And I got a unique ring that is not sold in bulk in other jewelry stores!

We have had several great experiences with Chalmers in the past. My husband purchased my engagement ring here and we also bought both of our wedding bands here. The engagement ring and matching wedding band were custom made and gorgeous. The employees even took me into the back room to show me how the rings are made and the computer program they use to design the ring exactly the way you want it. They may be a bit more pricey than your average jewelry store, but the quality of the jewelry is outstanding compared to other shops. Also, we always have great service there and it is a nice experience rather than leaving you feeling like you just heard a sales pitch. We love this place!

Chalmer's is simply amazing. We will never shop at any other jewelry store again. After my husband bought my engagement ring at Kay Jewelers, I went there to get it re-sized, cleaned, and to try and get a matching wedding band. Everyone there was so rude, and made us feel like an inconvenience. We decided to look elsewhere for our wedding bands, and decided to check out Chalmer's, since it's close by. The minute we walked in, we were greeted by Brian and Travis, who immediately apologized for the wait- which was all of 2 minutes. At Kay, you could wait up to 30 minutes with no apology whatsoever. We talked over our ideas, and Brian and Travis were so excited to help us and showed enthusiasm with our ideas. They put in our custom orders right away, and our rings were done so quickly- I couldn't believe it! Our wedding bands are beautiful, and we could NOT be happier. Chalmer's has it all- the ability to turn your dreams into reality with custom orders, quick turn-around time, and the most incredible staff. We will definitely be back for all of our future purchases! And props to Travis and Brian- they were there with us from square one throughout the entire journey, and I highly recommend these two! Chalmer's really is the best. NOTHING can beat their customer service and true dedication to making everyone that walks through the door feel like a close friend.

I loved my engagement ring that my hubby picked out on his own so much that I didn't get another band! He won't tell me how much it cost, but it is an amazing ring and he did a great job. His ring was also gorgeous, a black titanium ring that is classy. They'll help clean the rings and more!

The wedding band they made to match my heirloom engagement ring was beautiful and elegant. Great experience there. For the most part, most people in the store were friendly, but in many cases they did not seem to know what was going on when we checked on our order or asked questions regarding price. Also got in a spat with one of the sales people when I was told they wouldn't appraise the engagement ring and wedding band together for my insurance company, after two others from the store told me I could. In fact, they RECOMMENDED this process. In the end, I was able to do it and just give my insurance one value price. If you go, my advice is to get everything in writing. From estimates to appraisal fees to promised dates and everything else.

Steven and I knew from the beginning that we wanted to custom create our rings and he knew just where to go -Chalmers Jewelers! From start to finish the staff (especially Kristen and Chad) made the experience fun. They were so excited to map out our ideas and create something no one had seen before. Cannot recommend them enough!

They are very nice to work with and will answer any of your questions, but it took way more trips into the store than I would have thought and we have had a couple issues that they are working to resolve.

Chalmers has been wonderful with their service. I had to have my engagement ring resized an entire size down and it was no problem. During the resizing a small diamond fell out and they replaced it for me within a day. They have wonderful friendly staff.

The staff was very friendly and easy to work with. Our rings are perfect and were a great value.

My mom, who is a very knowledgeable jeweler, deemed Chalmers best in Madison. Apparently, their lighting and display along with their on-site jewelers is what sets them apart from others. Anyhow, my fiancee designed the rings with their guidance and they were beautifully made by the jewelers on-site. The quality of my diamond is also astonishing as we were unable to find any comparable as far as the the 3 C's in the Madison area! Chalmers is also extremely accommodating for all our jewelery needs and their check-in's of the rings are great! The value is great for the quality of diamond and rings we got. I can't imagine settling for anyone else!
