They listened to everything I wanted and made it happen!! The day was so smooth and they did such a good job getting us all done timely!! I had zero stress and felt beautiful and confident all day!!

The Cheeky Strut team is exactly who you want in charge of hair/makeup for your wedding day. Lindsey Rae is quick to respond with scheduling and details. Summer made me feel so beautiful. She and her girls were efficient, professional, and super talented. All of my bridesmaids felt beautiful as well! Highly recommend!

Hair and make up was something I was very worried about when going into my wedding day. I felt like it was the one part of my wedding day that I could control. I was very picky and did multiple hair and make up trials with different companies, but Cheeky Strut was a salon I could not pass up! I brought in inspo pictures and Anna was able to make my vision come through. She went through each individual part of my face (eyes, skin, lips, eyebrows, etc) while applying the make up and made sure it was perfect before moving onto the next part. She is great at what she does and made me feel like the most beautiful bride. On the wedding day, Anna and her team ran seamlessly through each bridesmaid and made them all feel just as beautiful as I did. I highly recommend them for any event!! They are amazing!!

I would not have trusted anyone else with my hair and makeup on my wedding day. My stylist created my wedding look basically out of nothing at my vision appointment, because I wasn’t sure what I wanted, and then genuinely cared about all feedback I had and we made alterations together to make the perfect look that felt like me. I could not have been happier with the end result, and all day of course everyone was giving me compliments about how beautiful I looked! Darby’s presence the morning of calmed my pre-wedding nerves, and Lindsey Rae was a pleasure to work with- and accommodating, even with last minute changes with some of my bridesmaid’s schedules. I was one of the many brides who had to reschedule twice due to Covid. Lindsey, Cheeky Strut's wedding coordinator, was absolutely incredible. She kindly guided me through the changes and was so gracious along the way, as we were our stylists. I knew we were in good hands with Lindsey at the helm and she always went ABOVE AND BEYOND to ensure I was happy. Paige was my hair stylist and Rachael was my MUA - I have literally NEVER felt more seen or more beautiful than my wedding day. They were both honest, offered input and are so talented at their craft. I have naturally curly hair which can be stressful for some stylists, but Paige dove right in with confidence, giving me the ability to enjoy my getting ready time. The end results were better than I could've imagined. I look forward to working with the CS team in the future!

We had THE BEST morning with the Cheeky Strut team on my wedding day. For bridal hair and make-up I worked with Summer. Now, I'm someone who has never worn make-up and she was able to beautifully balance that with natural eyeshadow, highlighter, and not too glam false lashes so I felt like an enhanced version of me. My hair was a bun that stayed in tact most of the day and if not we had a few extra bobbie pins to stick it back in and no one would ever know (especially after taking out my veil). My bridesmaids worked with Paige for hair and they all loved her. They kept commenting at how fast she worked and loved the outcome. In their past experience showing the photo sometimes works and sometimes doesn't but Paige nailed it on every single one of them. I'd highly recommend the Cheeky Strut team. I wish I lived closer and could go in to get my make-up done more for fancy events, tbh! BOOK THEM so I can live vicariously through someone else.

HIRE THIS TEAM! This team is the best of the best. Summer, Rachael, Paige, Britt, and Rachel arrived to my bridal suite at the Cheney Place and began working like a well oiled machine. They worked diligently and thoughtfully to make myself and my bridesmaids feel so incredibly beautiful. Summer did my bridal hair and makeup and perfectly executed my vision to look natural and not overdone. They all had such a calm demeanor that made for a relaxing but well-executed morning. Lindsey helped with planning and was always wonderful to work with and very communicative. You will be in good hands with this amazing team!

They were super organized and they arrived early and prepared. I felt confident in them from start to finish. My hair/makeup plus my bridesmaids all turned out beautifully. The girls were efficient and kept everything on time. They did a great job replicating what myself and the bridesmaids wanted done.

Cheeky Strut was incredible to work with from the moment I reached out! I was married in October of 2021, a very chaotic year to plan a wedding. After sending an inquiry to the salon team, Lindsey responded immediately with a ton of information. She answered so many questions for me and was helpful throughout the entire process. She made sure to update me when there were any changes with Covid regulations, if there was any schedule updates, etc. We had a large group for the day of the wedding: myself, 6 girls on the bride's side, 2 on the grooms side and 3 moms who also wanted hair and makeup. Cheeky Strut accommodated us with no issues at all. Some girls wanted only hair or only makeup, some wanted both. Lindsey made up a schedule that worked perfectly, I was able to let my bridesmaids know ahead of time when they needed to be at the venue's bridal suite. We opted for the stylists to travel to the venue so that we didn't have to worry about parking, weather, etc. They arrived together and on time and got right to work. They worked quickly but took such care to make sure everyone was comfortable and achieved the looks they wanted. Everyone looked stunning! Summer was my stylist for hair, makeup and the vision. I made an extra appointment with Summer before the vision to discuss ordering Halo Extensions - she helped me pick the right shade and ordered it for me so that it was ready for the vision appointment. For the vision, she understood exactly what I wanted based off of description and sample photos and I didn't have to change a thing. The look was natural but glamorous and I felt so beautiful. My look lasted the entire night, all I had to do was reapply my lipstick after dinner. I would highly recommend Cheeky Strut for your wedding or other event, they were amazing!

I hired Darby Leigh for my wedding look. She was so nice to work with! Lindsey Rae set everything up for me, and assigned Darby, Summer, and Tabitha to be with me and my bridesmaids to help us get ready. A fab experience for any future bride!

These ladies are all so talented! We had to postpone out a year, and they were very flexible and accommodating! The trials really helped with figuring out what I wanted and didn't want for the big day. We had to do a couple different trials due to stylists getting sick, but Lindsey Rae made sure that everything was covered for the big day and that we had amazing stylists with us when plans changed! Darby did my bridal wedding hairstyle beautifully and really listened to what I wanted! Hope did the bridesmaid's and my grandma's hair fabulously, and Lisa did the Mother of the Bride and a bridesmaid's airbrush makeup flawlessly. Also, an honorable mention to Carly Jo who I had a trial with. I absolutely LOVE the way she does hair. So talented! Everyone made us feel stunning and like a group of queens, and they were so fun to be with before the ceremony!

Cheeky strut is the best! They are timely, organized, detailed, thoughtful and fun! I am so glad I went with them for our wedding hair and make up. I loved it! They listen to exactly what you want. We had people who don’t love make up and wanted super natural looks to girls that wanted full glam and they pulled off both looks effortlessly. I had 13+ people getting services and they finished ahead of schedule! Truly I cannot say enough positive things. Cheeky Strut was amazing, they have a separate coordinator responsible for scheduling, updating, communicating both with the bride and with cheeky strut and it reduced my stress level. They came onsite to our hotel and were flexible with several gals that were unsure of what they wanted for hair/makeup. Would absolutely recommend!

As a bride who didn't have a wedding planner, I really relied on my vendors to be organized and trust they have everything under control. Lindsey at Cheeky Strut was amazing to work with - she created the wedding party's hair and makeup schedules and was very communicative through the entire process. Cheeky Strut did such a great job for our wedding day! We used them for services onsite and everyone came prepared and on schedule and was great to work with. It was a hot 90° for our wedding day and my hair/makeup kept throughout the whole day and night. Hope and Rachael were great for my bridal updo and very receptive to any tweaks to the planned looks we had discussed. I would be happy to use them again for future services!

Hillary, Paige, Lisa, and Rachael were amazing!! The truly elevated our looks through their beautiful hair designs and perfect makeup styles. Seriously, anytime I've had my hair done in the past for a special event, I've absolutely hated it and left disappointed and sad with the way it looked. The girls at Cheeky Strut changed that for not only me, but all of the girls in my bridal party! They did my 5 bridesmaids hair, my mom's hair, and myself and we all left feeling our absolute BEST! I hired Cheeky Strut for my wedding in August and Lindsay and the stylists were absolutely WONDERFUL! I had 11 girls needing hair done and they were able to work out the most fantastic schedule to have everyone’s hair done by 11:15am! Lindsey Rae and Hillary were great! My husband and I were originally going to get married on April 4th 2020, but covid had other plans. Lindsey Rae was so flexible and helpful when it came to working around our new wedding date. Hillary was also wonderful. I showed her my vision and she gave me exactly what I was looking for. I was one of the unlucky COVID brides who had to postpone our wedding from 2020 to 2021. During that time, the original hair and makeup team went out of business. This horrible situation ended up being the best-case scenario because I lucked out finding Cheeky Strut. From start to finish we had the BEST experience. Lindsey was a breeze to work with keeping me informed as things changed with COVID as well as normal wedding stuff. There were 13 of us getting hair and make-up for the wedding and every single person absolutely loved their look. Everyone in the bridal party typically wears minimal make-up. Cheeky Strut did an incredible job keeping us looking like our normal selves, but WAY more beautiful and glammed up. They also took all feedback and pictures of looks, and executed them perfectly! Our group specifically worked with Hillary and Carly Jo for hair, and Lisa, Darby, and Summer for make-up. Every single one crushed it! Not only were they great at making us look wonderful, but they were all so sweet and fun too! I wholeheartedly recommend every single person at Cheeky Strut. You will not be disappointed!!

I typically hate getting my hair and makeup done because I feel like I never look like me when it’s done. That wasn’t the case at all with Cheeky Strut. Lindsey Rae was so fantastic to work with. She communicated with me and our entire bridal party so well and coordinated everything flawlessly. Summer did my hair and makeup and did such a wonderful job. My hair was even better than I had imagined and my makeup was flawless and lasted all night long!! I was so worried that my makeup would look weird because I usually don't wear much but she did a fantastic natural look that looked beautiful on camera! The entire team did a great job on the bridesmaids, my mom, and my grandmas. Everyone was glowing when we left the salon!! We also really enjoyed the patio attached to the salon, it was a great place to relax and chat while we waited for our appointment times. The team was also so efficient and we were able to head out ahead of schedule!!

Cheeky Strut really DELIVERED for our wedding. We had a (small) COVID wedding, and we loved that they took safety seriously in the salon and clearly prioritized our comfort. I took my mother, mother-in-law, and maid of honor to get their hair & makeup done, too, and they all turned out beautifully; one of my big priorities was a salon that could beautify people of different ages and ethnicities, and I definitely got that. I think they looked as beautiful as I did, and I love that!! Another concern of mine was finding a salon that could realize my vision for my wedding day look, which had a very specific, iconic inspiration. I'm not super in to hair and makeup, so I couldn't give them much specific direction even though I knew the "feel" I wanted -- and they totally nailed it!! For hair, I look like the inspiration without looking like I'm doing cosplay; for makeup, I feel like I look like [an elevated version of] myself in my wedding photos; it was exactly what I wanted!!! Also, everyone's hair and makeup lasted through the day looking gorgeous.

The Cheeky Strut team was everything I could have asked for! Lindsey Rae organizes everything so thoughtfully and efficiently. She is the sweetest and so easy to contact. I have never been so impressed with a styling team. Carly Jo did my hair. She was so flexible with creating my vision and the final product lasted all night long in the summer heat/humidity. Rachael did my makeup and she made me feel like a princess :) I'm pretty particular and these women lived up to every expectation and then some! It was a little pricey for my initial budget, but if you want a dependable team that will give you a stress free wedding morning then they are worth every penny. We got married in Grand Rapids but are from the Metro Detroit area. I didn't know any salons in the area and found our lead stylist, Britt, on Instagram. She has a unique style and made recommendations on what she thought would look best. Her, and Steph, did all of our bridal party's hair and everyone looked gorgeous!
