I have no words. My wedding day was perfect, even with the rainy weather. The staff was so accommodating and took care of everything from start to finish. Make sure your 21+ guests have their IDs, even if they are in the wedding. Erin, you made me feel so calm and relaxed when it came to all of the final touches and details. You are amazing! I couldn’t have picked a better venue and I am forever grateful for CBBC!

The venue was absolutely beautiful!! Our experience was incredible from start to finish! The food was amazing & guests loved the views! Teresa was our coordinator who was amazing! She was responsive to all my questions, flexible with last minute changes, and eased my stress throughout the wedding weekend! Her assistant Marta was also wonderful! She was friendly and extremely attentive during our wedding day. Our wedding day was a dream & will be talked about for years to come!

We could never say enough good things about CBBC-- we were married there in May 2023 (after booking it in December 2021) and everything from start to finish was perfect. Samantha Rutherford was our Venue Coordinator and she was responsive, extremely helpful, and all around wonderful. The staff for the wedding day did everything seamlessly and flawlessly. The food was spectacular (we got so many rave reviews for the filet mignon, and the tater to bar was to die for!) and so many options to choose from (Samantha was also great with catering to people with food allergies and dietary restrictions). The venue location was also amazing -- watching the sunset with our friends and family was a memory that we will never forget. We would give 10/10 stars to CBBC if we could!

Booking the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club was arguably the best decision we made for our wedding (although we had lots of wonderful other vendors as well!).  I have nothing but amazing things to say about them.  Samantha was our day-of coordinator and she was instrumental in assuring our day was even better than we could have even imagined.  She was an absolute joy to work with.  From the time we signed our contract to reserve our wedding date, every staff member we encountered was nothing short of amazing.  Our questions were always answered in a very timely manner.  Tyra and the hotel staff checked in with us along the way to assure all members of our wedding party, parents, and ourselves had lodging secured on site.  The food was absolutely amazing (delicious crab cakes for this Maryland native).  I was a typical bride and was worried about eating too much on my wedding day, so I only ate a few bites of my dinner.  The staff packed up the rest of my meal for me to enjoy after the wedding, so I would not miss out on my own dinner!  I cannot tell you how much I appreciated the little details like this.  We stayed on site at the hotel, where we were also greeted with amazing and friendly service.  We arrived early and our room was not quite ready yet, but the staff unloaded my wedding dress and had it hanging in my suite ready for me by the time the room was available.  After we were married, we arrived at our room and there was a gorgeous bouquet and congratulatory note from all the staff at the Beach Club.  We also received a note sent to our home after our wedding, thanking us for booking with the Beach Club.  The day of my wedding, everyone kept commenting on how I was the "happiest bride" they have ever seen.  This is absolutely because of the amazing service of the Beach Club--I had no stress whatsoever because I knew the Beach Club was taking care of everything we needed and assuring the day went smoothly.  Again, I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Beach Club.  I would highly recommend them for your wedding venue, and we will absolutely be returning here for our anniversaries, special dinners, and getaways in the future! We had our ceremony and reception at the Inn Ballroom (at the hotel, not the waterfront) and it was wonderful and intimate. Would recommend if you are looking to have a wedding for around 75 guests. The Beach Club also owns the Libbey's restaurant and if you book the Inn Ballroom, they will shuttle you to Libbey's waterfront so you can still get waterfront wedding photos, if you are looking for that!

I pretty much knew CBBC was the one before I even saw it in person. We toured a couple other venues but nothing compared to the beauty of the sunset ballroom. Since we were planning from California, I especially loved that they offered so many services on site (catering, coordinator, hair & makeup, hotel for me and my guests, etc) All of my wedding guests said my wedding was the BEST EVER and I owe sooo much of that to CBBC and the amazing staff. I was lucky enough to work with Teresa as my coordinator and she was so helpful from the very beginning. My husband and I live in Los Angeles but planning from out of town was a breeze thanks to CBBC. Teresa was so quick to answer any questions I had about the venue. My husband and I truly had so much fun at our group tasting. We felt like we really got to know the space before the big day and act like guests at our own wedding! Trying all the amazing food and drinks and meeting the staff and other couples was a blast. I love how they set up the tables with different centerpieces so I could visualize my own decor. Our actual wedding weekend ran so smoothly and I have Teresa and Marta to thank for that. These ladies worked over time to keep our guests happy, and our event on time without making anything feel too rushed. They took such great care of me, my husband, and my parents. Marta stayed with me leading up to the ceremony holding the train of my dress and even wrapped a blanket around me in between family photos because it was chilly by the water. They greeted us with champagne after our ceremony and a tray of appetizers in the bridal suite so we could catch a breath and some food before joining cocktail hour. I could not recommend CBBC for your wedding enough. This was truly the best day of my life and I will treasure the amazing photos, videos and memories forever.

Having my wedding reception at CBBC was one of the best decisions I've ever made. From the moment we began communicating with them, Samantha and her teammates were responsive, efficient, and attentive to every small detail. They were extremely accommodating of some unconventional aspects of our party, and even helped us with last minute changes on account of cold weather. Tyra (hotel block manager) and the entire food/beverage team exceeded our expectations with their collaboration and ability to run the event so smoothly. We felt so well taken care of from start to finish. Guests were raving about the food/beverage, onsite lodging, and overall experience; one guest (in her 60s) stated that it was the best food she'd ever had at a wedding, and best crab cake she'd ever had. Highly, highly recommend for any size party/gathering!

I am so happy we chose CBBC for our wedding. We used the Tavern Ballroom for our reception and had just over 100 guests. Our ceremony was on the lawn and we didn't even need a ceremony arch or anything - having the bay as our backdrop was just perfect. The service was top notch all night, guests were able to get drinks at the bar quickly, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the tater tot bar and crab cake station for cocktail hour! The entire planning process went very smoothly thanks to our coordinator, Samantha. She was always quick to respond to my emails with random questions and menu changes in the months and weeks leading up to the wedding. She was also super helpful on the day of, even packing up our decor items at the end of the night! It was so convenient staying at The Inn, and I used their salon/spa for hair and make-up for myself, the moms, and bridesmaids. They came to our suite in the barn and they did an amazing job! Just a fair warning that you will EASILY surpass the food & beverage minimum if you want multiple options at cocktail hour, desserts, late night snacks, etc. But it's totally worth it.

We cannot recommend this venue more! We got married here in May and are still receiving compliments from our guests about how amazing the venue was, how good the food was, how nice to the service was, and those sunset views were spectacular ! We worked with Erin and I cannot thank her enough. During every step of the planning process, she was available for all of my questions, she attended to all my details and helped my dream wedding come to life! We couldn’t have done it without her! On the day of she also made sure to support me every step of the way, even helping to bustle my dress! I loved every moment of my wedding planning process with CBBC and every moment of our big day there was perfect! Thank you CBBC team 💗

My daughter was married here last week and I’m still getting texts and emails from my guests about how awesome this venue was. From the first time we saw the place and met the staff last winter to the night the celebrations ended everything was first class. The grounds where ceremony takes place is magical, the layout of the ballroom was perfect, the food is outstanding and the staff was very courteous and helpful. Very highly rated!

Had my daughter’s wedding at the Tavern Ballroom 7/24/22. I honestly cannot express how wonderful it was. From beginning to end we were attended to without a flaw. Our wedding coordinator Erin Janes was wonderful (don’t understand the review written about her above ) but they are wrong.She was excellent, extremely attentive to every detail and all of us as well. If I had another daughter I would do it all over again I would with her in charge. The food was to die for and the venue absolutely beautiful! So many compliments but most of all my daughter had the wedding of her dreams! Kudos to all at CBBC!

Everything about CBBC was pure perfection. The property is pristine and made for the best photos. We received compliments all night on how wonderful the food tasted! The wedding coordination and staff were top notch and made the whole process go so smoothly, from beginning to the end. They are a very honest company and truly want to see your special day be one to always remember! I 1000% recommend this wedding venue!

Incredibly rude wedding director! Erin was dismissive and presumptuous from the start of the initial consultation. She did not bother to ask our names or budget, which was significantly high BTW, rather stated that I could not have my wedding on a Saturday and directed me to check out the inn. You lost my business, Erin! Be more respectful to prospective clients and you will earn more commission. Who are you to judge anyone, dear.

Best venue ever!! We just had our wedding on the Tavern Ball Room lawn June 24 2022. My husband and I still have a permanent glow from such a wonderful day. Teresa Hunter and her staff are top notch. Teresa was with us from the start in the process as our personal wedding coordinator. She made all of our dreams come true. First off the venue itself is worth it, because it’s GORGEOUS. We knew we didn’t need many decorations because it speaks for itself in beauty. Once you secure your date, you will be scheduled for a group tasting with 100-200 people. We went In January and it was basically like attending a pre-wedding. They had open bar, happy hour, sit down dinner. Showing all the different options you can have for your wedding. We had the absolute BEST time. The food was AMAZING. We walked out of there so so excited to do it all over again but with our friends and family. The filet minion and crab cake was SOO good! We honestly were not positive how they could have medium rare steaks and crab cakes that taste good for all these people. The day of our wedding the food was even better!!! Many people came up to us saying that the cocktail hour food was amazing, they were so full that they weren’t sure how to eat dinner! Then after dinner we had a ton of guest tell us that they have been to 40+ weddings and ours had the best food they have ever had at a wedding. Around 8:15pm we were able to have sunset photos!! The venue knows how amazing the sunset is, so they paused our dinner so everyone could go out and take a bunch of photos. It was a huge highlight. They have a large strip of sand and beach so the photos come out sooo stunning. Once I came up from the beach photos, Teresa comes over with a towel to wipe my feet off. WHO does that?? CBBC If you are reading this, please give her a raise lol. During the ceremony, you can also hear the waves crashing on the shore. Absolutely peaceful and made it even more special. My husband and I walked away just in absolute awe. There was nothing I would have changed about the day. It was perfect. The venue has everything down to a science and really make you feel like a celebrity for a day. I have so much respect and happiness for this venue. Please don’t hesitate to book this venue. Also please don’t hesitate to invite me to your wedding, because I would Love to go back!!! 😃😃

If money is no object, then CBBC is the absolute perfect wedding venue. Beautiful scenic views from all vistas, food was incredible, and the behind the scenes coordination was top notch. All of our pre wedding questions were answered quickly. Guests commented that it was the best wedding food that they had ever experienced. Nothing during the wedding ceremony and reception fell through the cracks. Servers, bartenders, parking staff were all attentive and did a great job. Erin and Marte, our coordinators, did an outstanding job running the show in the background. On the negative side, 6 months before the wedding, we were informed of a price hike for the food. I was taken back since we obviously had a contract. In a very small phrase, it did mention that they could hike the prices, but I still felt that they should not have changed all of the previously booked contracts going forward. Also, in order to offer 2 menu choices, you to add an extra $5 per meal. That adds up considering the prices are already very high. On the flip side, the food was outstanding. Also, if you choose a champagne toast, they add $7 per person, minors or not, even though you already have an unlimited bar. Lastly, like many other venues, they add an automatic 21% gratuity/service charge to the bill. Since we also received a tipping guide, which included the option of tipping CBBC personnel, I was a bit taken back considering the amount of the gratuity/service charge that we had just paid. Together with the Inn, CBBC did an outstanding job with the coordination and execution of the wedding. It was a marvelous day and we would highly recommend them.

The Chesapeake Bay Beach Club is such a beautiful waterfront venue, and was absolutely perfect for our wedding! We were in the Sunset Ballroom, which also included an adjacent room for dancing, and two incredible spaces to choose from for our ceremony-- their enclosed rooftop or outdoor lawn, which ended up working out perfectly with the beautiful weather we had. The entire team was extremely attentive, helpful, and flexible on all our questions and customizations, and made the day completely stress-free and perfect!

The CBBC is reliable. It has a gorgeous waterfront view and property, well staffed with catering, the best wedding food options, on-site accommodations and shuttles. Erin was a great coordinator - responsive, positive and experienced. If it is within budget, I couldn’t recommend CBBC more for a waterfront Maryland wedding.

The beach club was the perfect place for the wedding. There are three different venue options which worked out well when we ended up with 4 different wedding dates. Having the inn nearby was very convenient, but there wasn't enough room for all the guests. The spa at the inn did all our hair and makeup which looked fantastic. The beach club has weddings down to a science. Our day of coordinator, Jessica, was fantastic! When you go out on the beach to take sunset pictures and someone wipes the sand off your feet you know they are well equipped for weddings. We also didn't need a separate baker for our cake because the CBBC had smith island cake and an assortment of desserts. To top off the night the staff stood at the exit to help make sure guests got their party favors as they departed. Having an all-inclusive venue was key to our successful wedding since at the time we didn't live in Maryland. The CBBC is a well-oiled machine with weddings and if you have your wedding here you'll be in great hands.

My husband and I got married at CBBC on 10/16/20. I was even more inclined to write this glowing review after we recently spent our 1 year anniversary back at The Inn. Samantha, Marta and the entire CBBC staff met (even exceeded) all of our expectations. Prior to our big day, we had multiple online and in person planning periods. These sessions made our big day run all that smoother. One of our fondest memories was actually the menu tasting event! Guests from our wedding, to this day, still make note of how tremendous our ceremony and reception were. Delicious food/cocktails + breathtaking views + dedicated staff equates to the best wedding venue out there! Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts. I know we'll be back to visit soon!

After postponing our wedding in Utah twice we decided to move it to Maryland by family and were on a time crunch. After touring both venues I completely fell in love with the atmosphere. We only had about 6 months to re-plan everything, and it was the most seamless 6 months we could have asked for. Our planner was Samantha and she was incredible! From my endless questions to a quicker timeline, she handled everything with grace, flexibility and professionalism. She felt like a friend more than a vendor. All of my guests commented on how much they loved staying at the Barn at the Inn and how beautiful everything was, and the guests who didn't stay were bummed they didn't. The food was fantastic as well. Unfortunately we didn't get to experience everything the venue has to offer due to wedding chaos, but our guests enjoyed Knoxie's grill and the dipping pools and bikes for rent. The actual wedding day was seamless thanks to Samantha and team. The timeline felt natural and there really were no hiccups. My husband and I were catered to and our guests were extremely happy. We got married at the Inn and although the Beach Club is more popular due to being by the water, I would have to say that being steps away from our room was so worth it as well as having our own tented, cozy dance floor outside of the reception space. We got our hair and makeup done from the Spa onsite and they were incredible as well - we even got to get ready in our rooms! The fireplaces outside were a good hang out spot for us for the night before as well. I could go on and on about the venue and its staff - thank you again to Samantha and the whole team at Chesapeake Bay Beach Club for making our day perfect. We will definitely be back for an anniversary!

We had booked our big day for 8.29.2020. We fell in love with the stunning views and well kept venues at Chesapeake Bay Beach Club. Could not have imagined anything better! Further, my day of coordorinator, Samantha was wonderful. She was friendly, positive, and responsive. It was clear to my husband and I that CBBC has everything well organized and planned. Unfortunately our ceremony ended up postponed due to Covid restrictions, and over that time Samantha was out on leave. Although it was a time of great uncertainty for all, CBBC lacked communication and demanded we reduce our guest count to meet State restrictions and have the wedding on 8.29 or pay $$$ to postpone. Considering our wedding was nearly paid at that point, this decision made by CBBC broke our hearts and spirits. In the end, after much heartache and debate, we decided to postpone. We finally had our ceremony on 9.10.21. As promised, on 9.10 everything went perfectly. The venue was gorgeous, the day of staff went above and beyond, and we could not have been happier with that day. The Inn on site was also wonderful. The staff really went out of their way to make sure we felt welcomed and comfortable. Overall I would recommend this venue for the beautiful space and wonderful day of staff.

The Chesapeake Bay Club is the BEST!! We were so happy with the quality of the service and attention to detail by the staff. We had to change the date of my daughter's wedding due to the pandemic and Samantha could not have been more helpful and accommodating. She was such a professional and guided us through the process and our questions with calm and grace. The guests were wowed by the beauty of the venue and raved about the delicious food. I also have to mention Susan at the front desk - always so cheerful and helpful. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this venue is and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a first class site for their wedding.

We booked our April 24, 2021 wedding in September 2019. My husband and I fell in love with the grandiose views of the bay from the lawn and the beach. I was enchanted by the beautifully laid back, airy boathouse tavern where our guests were able to snuggle up in booths around a timeless oak bar as the bay breeze came in from the wide-open windows. We also felt that the simple elegance of the ballroom with its few dark wooden rafters, the grand fireplace were going to create this warm romantic glowing ambiance that was going to perfectly fit the vibe for our early spring wedding. The Chesapeake Bay Beach Club made some impressive changes to their facilities to make them COVID safe and just better in general. They modernized their air systems to include an air purifier that pulls fresh air from the outside instead of recycling it. They also use a food and beverage safe sanitizer to sanitize every space throughout the different spaces of the event as they were not being used. These among other protocols helped to ease many of our worries leading up to the wedding as we all waited and hoped for the opportunity to be vaccinated. After a tour with my parents in March to show them these new protocols we met Samantha and we were blown away by her attention to detail so when we were able to have Samantha as our Wedding Coordinator all my wedding anxieties were instantly eased. I knew I could trust Samantha to handle the tiny details on the day of the wedding without needing me to tell her what to do. Samantha was always on the ball and knew all the intricacies of our details without hesitation. She made the rehearsal and wedding day a flawless experience even when everyone arrived way ahead of schedule (the one Saturday that there wasn’t bay bridge traffic). I never had to worry about a single thing all day and the whole CBBC team helped to make this day utterly magical. The food at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club was without a doubt the best wedding/catering food I have ever had and all of our guests agreed. I appreciated that they make as many dishes as they can gluten-free which is often a stressful part of menu planning when you have people with various allergies. Every passing appetizer during the cocktail hour was better than the next and I loved how each appetizer was on its own plate. It made for cleaner eating for all guests. The other crowd favorite was the tater tot bar with the Maryland crab dip which people are still gushing over. For dinner, we gave guests the filet mignon and crab cake with the potato gratin cupcake and fresh spring vegetables. It was utterly delicious and was the perfect Maryland surf and turf combo. We didn’t have the ability to ask guest preferences (fish, chicken, beef, etc) so this was our easiest option for last-minute flexibility for different dietary needs. For dessert, we brought in our own cupcakes but added chocolate-covered strawberries, cannolis, and gelato to create a mini dessert buffet which was a great hit and helped people to enjoy the party and dancing more than being stuck at a table for dessert. The bartenders were fantastic with a steady pour, great cocktails, and a fantastic selection. From start to finish the service and staff at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club were kind, helpful and so professional to all our guests. I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding even as a COVID bride.

BOOK YOUR WEDDING HERE! I cannot say enough amazing things about this venue and its staff. Teresa is the most incredible person to work with and Marta was incredibly attentive and was constantly making sure I was having the most perfect day. From the day I booked the venue to the day of the wedding everything was absolutely perfect, and it was due to the professionalism of the venue. The staff is amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure that we had the most perfect day. You can tell they love their jobs and want to be there. The venue and the views are so gorgeous. Sunset view is incredible. This venue is just the most magical place to have your dream wedding.

10/10 would recommend CBBC! From booking our date, to having our tasting, to the weeks leading up to the wedding, everything was great! Samantha was amazing the day of the wedding. All of my decor was in the perfect spots and she made everything run so smoothly. The venue and the views are so gorgeous and I feel like there is a doable price point for every sort of bride! Thank you CBBC staff for allowing us to have our wedding during these crazy times!

The venue is gorgeous — but that staff is atrocious. My wedding was the last one held before COVID shut downs. I admit, that made things very stressful. That being said — the attitudes of the staff were unacceptable, especially considering the sum of money I paid to use this venue. My wedding has a great number of details — and we were very specific with directions. We had a candy bar and popcorn bar ... both of which , I called in advance to request permission to have. My mother delivered all jars, all candy, individually wrapped and separated into large plastic bags, with labels, so all that would need to be done was dump candy into the jars & place on the table. When my mother went by to check on things, all the popcorn jars had been filled with candy ... and all the candy had been mixed together... it’s looked horrible & was not the directions they were given My mother mentioned this to Samantha & that this needed to be fixed. Her response was “You have a lot of stuff. You are lucky you are even having your reception here.” EXCUSE ME? 1) every item we brought had been cleared with Samantha prior to arrival. She should not have been surprised. If it was “too much” she should not have agreed to each request. 2) Unless the government of Maryland shut down the venue (which at that point, had not occurred), if they canceled my event, they would have been in violation of my contract. It’s not “lucky” they held my wedding — it was what was required per a legally binding contract. They weren’t doing me a favor. I paid them thousands and thousands of dollars for good and services. They simply executed a contract. My aunts fixed all the errors the beach club staff made (including sorting all the candy they had mixed together) ... they did a good portion of the decorating bc it was clear the beach club couldn’t be trusted. My reception was beautiful, despite the venue staff, not because of them. While the venue is pretty, I’d take my money elsewhere, If I had to do it again. Lack of communication during the entire planning process, rude staff & bad food is the price you pay for a beautiful view. Probably not worth it.

My husband and I booked CBBC well over a year prior to our wedding date. Of course many things changed with Covid. The entire time there was no communication from CBBC on how they planned to handle the situation. It wasn’t until my mother reached out to them multiple times that we received any answers to our questions despite the fact that they required a 60% deposit if we want to keep our date. At one point they told us we were 100% able to move forward with our wedding but 5 days later and 2 months before our wedding they cancelled on us only, one of the three weddings scheduled for our date. They sold us on something they knew could not make work in attempts to force us to reschedule or postpone. We felt manipulated by them and had they only been transparent with what was going on I would not have posted this review.

There is no doubt that the venue is stunning. But the wedding coordinators are a completely different story. First everything is an additional charge. They don't tell you that till last minute, so beware! Second, it was like pulling teeth to get answers for simple questions throughout the wedding planning process. I would send emails with a list of questions, maybe 2 of 5 would get answered and of those 2 answers, it would be the most vague answer. We booked the tavern and we were basically sworn that the 3 weddings never cross each other. I had random guests from other weddings, walking through our venue, waiting right next to me when I was about to walk down the aisle, walking through our ceremony area when we were taking pictures. When it came to do our first look, our coordinator was no where to be found and showed up late once found. Seating arrangements were a complete mess and all of our items we brought in ahead of time were thrown in boxes and passed off to our guests to take home at the end of the night. Not to mention they threw out/lost precious personal items as well. Lastly, didn't know this till it happened to us, but they threatened us if we didn't overnight the last check that they couldn't ensure that we would have the best day. To say the lease, the coordinators and staff made the planning process not enjoyable at all. I used to be an events coordinator and never would I treat our customers they way that they treated me.

Wow, not a single flaw or complaint about this venue. Not only did they treat my husband and me like a King and Queen, but our guests also got the royal treatment with these guys. We got married the weekend Hurricane Dorian hit the eastern shore and I was more than a stressed-out Bride who planned to get married outside. Fast forward and the wind and rain didn't allow us to use The Tavern lawn but the CBBC team didn't miss a beat. We were graciously allowed to use the Sunset Ballroom Rooftop Deck and I almost started crying seeing how pretty the space was and knowing that they were going out of their way on our day to still make everything amazing despite the weather. Our guests wouldn't stop complimenting the food and the wide variety of drinks along with the level of service. I feel like we paid a reasonable price and got an exceptional outcome. CBBC is worth every penny knowing that this team executes and provides a dream wedding day.

I could not be happier that we chose CBBC for our wedding. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and it was due to the professionalism of the venue. Erin was an absolute pleasure to work with. Wedding planning was not stressful because we had such a wonderful venue! All of our other vendors work a lot with CBBC, which made everything so incredibly easy!!! The food was also amazing. All of our guests said that this was the best wedding they have been too. Could not recommend CBBC more!!!

I am so incredibly happy we choose CBBC for our wedding. It was a perfect day! It is a gorgeous waterfront venue which is exactly what we wanted. The buildings are beautiful and well kept, and there are many options to configure how you’d like your wedding. There are outdoor ceremony options, but the backup indoor options are just as beautiful, which is one of the main reasons why we booked this place. The staff at CBBC is simply amazing. They have been doing this for a long time, and their professionalism and execution speaks volume towards that. I can’t thank our wedding coordinator, Erin, enough. She is INCREDIBLE. She was always available to speak and helped us organize our vision into the perfect wedding day. We had a large wedding, and she had plenty ideas on how to best organize the flow and our vendors. The food was delicious. Our guests can’t stop talking about it! Stop thinking about it and book CBBC for your wedding, you won’t regret it!

So let me start off by saying if you love the water and want a waterfront vendor this is the best place for it. The staff at the beach club went above and beyond to make sure our big day was nothing short of perfect. They made sure everything went smoothly and right on time without making you feel rushed. I definitely would recommend them for sure!

There are simply not enough words to say how amazing this place is. The second we stepped foot into the lobby of the Inn at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club, we knew that this was our venue. My husband and I attended one of the wedding expos shortly after we got engaged. We were paired with Samantha (who ended up being our coordinator) who gave us a tour of the options. Based on our wedding party size (62), we ended up choosing the Inn Ballroom. It was perfect - the grounds were clean and felt private even though parts of the grounds were public, the cocktail tented area was perfect for our evening spring reception, and the dining hall was just the right size where people had enough room to dance and move around but it was still an intimate setting. The food was out of this world. The service was unmatched. And when we walked into our suite, we felt like we had stepped into a magazine where everything was so carefully designed and thought out. It was a treat to stay there. And we have to give a HUGE shout out to Samantha, Marta, and Ben. Their creativity, attentiveness, and down-to-earthness made our wedding weekend perfect. The day of our wedding, we did not need to worry about anything. We had a great time and our guests had a great time, and it was all due in part to the outstanding professionals of the CBBC. Everyone should have their wedding ceremony and/or reception here. It is an incredible experience from start to finish - you will not regret it!! Book early!!

For years I drove over the Bay Bridge in Maryland looking at this venue visualizing how my wedding would be, and my vision came to light October 5 2018. The food and atmosphere was amazing. The person who stood out from everyone that worked there was Marta. She made me feel special and that she really cared. That day our wedding wasn’t just another job for her. I will always be thankful she was there. Thank you Marta.

This venue was the most magical place to get married. It rained on my wedding day and I couldn't have been more happy with our decision to get married there. We were in the Tavern Ballroom and since there wasn't another wedding going on, we were able to use the Sunset Ballroom for the ceremony and it was BEAUTIFUL! I was so happy how it turned out. I was SO SAD because I wanted to have my ceremony outside and the cocktail hour on the rooftop bar, however due to the rain and cold, that did not happen. The staff were amazing. We had a head waitress that made sure our night went smoothly.. she stayed with us till the end of the night. Our Day of Coordinator, Teresa Hunter, was amazing as well. Due to the weather, there were a lot of accidents happening on the bay bridge causing a lot of guests to be late. We had to push back the ceremony about 20 minutes but she made sure that we got all our pictures done so that the reception could begin on time. She was very responsive with e-mails and answered all my anxious bride questions. The food was amazing! I was so happy with our selections. All of our guests had a blast! I would totally hire them again if needed.

We wanted to wait a bit before posting our reviews. We spent roughly 6 months traveled close to a 1,000 total miles searching for our wedding venue for our June, 2018 wedding. We had no idea where we wanted to get married and looked at several venues on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Delaware, and even on the western shore of Maryland. From our first tour of the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club, we immediately knew that had to be the place where we would get married. Our Special Events Manager was Samantha. We can honestly say our wedding day was made perfect by her. She was incredible professional, knowledgeable, and approachable throughout the entire process. The entire staff at CBBC was courteous and friendly. The general consensus of our guest was it was the best wedding they have ever been to and we believe that due the product and service the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club can provide. We strongly urge you to please consider CBBC hosting your special day, we have zero regrets and they set the benchmark for how weddings should be.

The Chesapeake Bay Beach Club may be called the wedding factory but they know how to plan and throw a wedding. I received a wedding planner upon booking, Teressa truly took the time to answer any and all questions, she took the time to help me find the exact tablecloths I wanted, finally she made sure that my 5 boxes of decorations were perfectly presented! The venue is absolutely beautiful, my pictures came out amazing my photographer won an award for one of them! Finally, the food was cooked to perfection everyone was pleased with their dinner and the ice cream bar was a nice touch.

The Chesapeake Beach Club was an amazing place to have our wedding!! We had our wedding at the tavern in the beach club and it was perfect. Great view, the dance floor was a perfect size and I loved how the dinner tables were separate from where the dancing was. The food was delicious. Everyone there was so helpful! I am so happy I chose the beach club for our wedding! It was perfect and I highly recommend this place

The staff at CBBC are just as stellar as the views from the ceremony site! They made our big day better than our dreams could have imagined! Our day of coordinator, Erin was a joy to work with and answered all of our questions from the really big to the teeny tiny. She made putting together the day of schedule so easy as well as recommending a menu that was perfect for the day. The event staff take all of the hassle out of setting up - just bring your decorations that week! I spilled wine and some jelly from the fantastic Lamb Lollipops on my dress and they were there in an instant to help get the spots out. We had our own private waitstaff to make sure that we as the bride and groom ate. No matter what you pick for food, it will be delicious. They are very flexible with bringing in your own cake and with the officiant. The amount of stars and words cannot express how seamless and stress free the staff at CBBC made our big day. Thanks again guys!

This venue at the Tavern Ballroom made our wedding absolutely perfect! Teresa was extremely helpful and responsive during the planning. Her and the staff made our wedding look better than I could imagine! Everything was organized and laid out perfectly day of. It ended up raining so cocktail hour needed to be inside, it seemed like it was the plan all along! Seamless evening timeline. Stacey was the staff member during the reception that made sure everything was on time and that I had everything I needed. Bartenders were prompt and remembered people’s drink orders. The worker with the band, florist and other vendors to make sure our event went well, making it super easy for me to just enjoy! Everyone said how amazing the food was too! 100% recommend. Thank you so much Teresa, Stacey and staff for all your hard work and effort. Truly the most beautiful, fun and special day of our lives!

We loved CBBC! They did such a wonderful job, they are clearly pros. Teresa was our coordinator and she made everything very easy on us and always responded to my questions quickly. Our real MVP was Ellen. I am not sure her title, but she was our go to girl! She would always make sure we had a drink in our hands, always telling us how to execute things (like parent dances and cutting the cake), and when I wanted to put my hair up even gave me her OWN hair tie.

We are extremely grateful our wedding was at the Inn Ballroom at CBBC. Our timeline for wedding planning was expedited due to an out of country move, so we really lucked out booking this venue as well as having Samantha Rutherford as our event manager! The Inn Ballroom and grounds are absolutely beautiful, and Samantha was the biggest help with providing recommendations on local vendors, guiding the menu, timeline, and all the intricate day of wedding details. The service, food, and attention to detail truly made our special day unforgettable! Mahalo!!

Simply amazing!! Erin (and the rest of the CBBC) was amazing to work with. Erin was very responsive and flexible and made our day run so smooth. The food was so great and the service was perfect! I don't have enough good things to say about this venue. It was a little pricier but SO worth it. Not only is it a gorgeous place with an amazing sunset and view of the bay bridge, but Erin and her team took care of EVERYTHING. The day went so smoothly and I didn't have to worry about a single detail so I was able to enjoy the best day of my life! My mom and I were talking later that it was worth every penny just to have that peace of mind and be able to live in the moment. The food was amazing - everyone was raving about it. The rooftop deck was the most perfect place for the cocktail hour where I saw all my friends for the first time after the ceremony. Weeks later my family and friends are still talking about how beautiful and well taken care of this venue was. Also so many great spots for pictures with my groom!!

One of the best decisions we could have made during the entire wedding planning process was choosing CBBC as our venue. When looking for a venue we had two priorities: beautiful views and delicious food. CBBC was the first and only venue we visited. The views were stunning and the food exceeded our expectations. We instantly knew CBBC was the venue for us. We had our reception in the Sunset Ballroom and it was absolutely gorgeous. Theresa was our day of coordinator and she was so great to work with throughout the wedding planning process. In fact, the entire staff was incredible. On our wedding day, our guests felt welcomed, the food was delicious and the views were breathtaking. Many of our guests traveled from out of town and CBBC made our guests feel like they were on vacation rather than just another ordinary wedding. It has been approximately four months since our wedding and our friends and family are still talking about our wedding, especially the food! The food at CBBC is unlike any other wedding food I’ve ever had. My now husband and I have attended multiple weddings since our big day at a variety of other venues and no other venue has compared to the service, food and experience that we had at CBBC. Booking CBBC was the best decision we made and I would do it all over again if I had the chance! If you want an unforgettable wedding, book the beach club and you will not be disappointed!

We visited 15 venues and put down deposits at the Beach Club and Pippin Hill. We ended going with the Beach Club because the value was better and didn't require too much traveling for our guests. Our wedding coordinator/planner was Teresa Hunter. You won't need to hire a separate day of wedding coordinator. She was professional, knowledgeable, calm, friendly, and responsive. You can tell she knows her stuff during your meeting with her. You are in good hands! The Beach Club venue was incredible. Our guests are still talking about it. The best part about the Beach Club is that your guests are not confined to one area during the wedding. You are essentially renting out a mini wing/estate. Your guest can socialize on the lawn, the tavern, the outdoor spaces (with chairs/tables), foyer, and ballroom. The wedding was amazing. It was so organized and smooth. This is all due to the amazing team at the Beach Club. They really know how to throw a great wedding. The bride will also be assigned someone to take care of her throughout the wedding day. I think it was the captain but literally this lady was so great (I forgot her name because it's been 4 weeks). She made sure my glass was always full, made sure I ate, retrieved my shoes, even wiped my feet for me (after it got dirty from the sand), packed up all the decorations in the car, etc. Everybody needs a helper like this lady. Also, the food is amazing!! Our guests were obsessed with the food. We went with the filet and crab cake, asparagus, and potato au gratin. The Beach Club is more expensive than the average venue but totally worth it. For ease of mind, gorgeous scenery, spacious venue, and a well-organized team. Also, book at least a year in advance if you want a Saturday. We were 11 months out and all Saturdays were booked. We had to settle for a Friday.

We truly could not have been happier with our wedding weekend here! We had the Rehearsal Dinner at the Ballroom at the Inn, Wedding in the Tavern Room and a Bridal Party Post-Wedding Brunch in the Tool Shed at the Inn. Our guests are still talking about how this was the best wedding weekend they had ever been too. The venue was gorgeous, the food was delicious and the service was incredible. You definitely get your money's worth and get a stress-free, gorgeous wedding here. Teresa is an amazing planner as well and allowed me to enjoy the weekend without thinking about a thing. Would highly recommend this!

My husband and I recently got married at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club-- we were fortunate enough to have perfect weather and a gorgeous sunset which made this already beautiful venue a stunning setting for our ceremony and reception! However, we were somewhat disappointed by the service we received leading up to the big day and were frustrated by some last minute confusion on the day itself. After attending an open house, my husband and I were awestruck by CBBC's gorgeous views and grounds. We asked for a pricing proposal and soon realized that the venue was was way out of budget. CBBC was persistent and helped to fine tune the proposal to make us more comfortable with the bottom line. It was still a stretch, but since we were promised top notch service and planning assistance... we decided to go for it. After signing the contract, we received virtually zero outreach from CBBC, which was a surprise given our experience with contract negotiations. I contacted them several times for help with planning, and was told that we wouldn't receive our assigned wedding coordinator until 3 months before the event. So eventually, I hired an outside wedding planner to help me with choosing vendors and coordinating the event details. I am very happy I wound up using her, but wanted to note that when we initially signed the contract with CBBC, I didn't think I would need to spend additional money on another planning resource. We felt somewhat misled. Communication with CBBC continued to be challenging... We never received an invite to our tasting. Instead, I received a vague voicemail 1 week before the event was going to take place. When our 60% deposit came due, my husband and I were sent multiple incorrect versions of our contract which listed higher guest minimums and did not include any of the notes that the General Manager included in our original proposal. When we were planning transportation for our wedding party and guests, we received different answers from the Inn and CBBC regarding their shuttle service. Finally, we had to fight to have our rehearsal at 5 PM-- CBBC insisted that 3:30 was the absolute latest time that they could accommodate the rehearsal... which not only sounded bogus, but also made it clear that CBBC is most concerned with their own convenience and were unwilling to compromise. That was the last straw so I emailed a list of our concerns to our planner and she reluctantly agreed to a 5 PM rehearsal time. At the end of the day, we got what we wanted. But I feel that the level of service we experienced did not align with the cost of the venue. The wedding day itself ran smoothly, except for the shuttle service from the Inn where the bridal party and groomsmen got ready. We were told that it would be ready to take us to the venue at 3:45 but when we called the front desk at 3:30, we were told that "no one is at the venue." They were totally unaware of the plans we had made, which our planner sent to us in writing weeks prior. To their credit, the Inn rose the occasion and quickly got the shuttle ready. But it should not have happened, especially when CBBC had given us an itinerary in writing for the wedding day. As I said at the beginning of my review, our wedding turned out to be beautiful and I don't regret choosing CBBC. The day was picture perfect, the food was delicious, and all of our friends and family had a great time. I just wanted to share a candid review so people know what to expect.

We had the wedding of our dreams. My Husband and I couldn't decide if other people leave their wedding feeling the way that we feel, but there is not one single element of our wedding that we would go back and change. We had our ceremony in the garden room and reception in the Tavern Ballroom at CBBC and it was gorgeous. Gorgeous light fixtures, beautiful bar, modern colors, perfectly separate dining area from dancefloor-- exceptional view of the bay. We had minimal things that we needed to bring in for the event because they already had a beautiful backdrop, tables, linens and so on. Our event coordinator, Samantha Rutherford, was amazing. She is organized, she is personable and she had the whole thing down to a science which made it go so smoothly. Communication with Samantha easy and clear. Our food selections were excellent. We stayed right at the Inn which made everything so convenient, and also for our guests. We truly had the best day of our life and I don't think we would have felt the same way if we had had the wedding any place else.

Dream venue! When my husband proposed, we only saw this one venue and booked it. We chose the beach house ballroom. At the open house we noticed a few minor things that were run down/looking old but to our surprise, the beach house ballroom had a complete makeover and was re-painted and had new light fixtures installed before our wedding date. This venue has 3 ballrooms (so 3 weddings could be going on at the same time). The only time I realized another wedding was going on was during the ceremony, the wedding next to us had cocktail music a bit loud. It wasn't a big deal, I was just glad the staff made sure i didn't see another bride walking around like on the beach during photos. This venue has a gorgeous water view overlooking the bay bridge. We were lucky to have a beautiful sunset. I booked the venue mainly because of the outdoor ceremony space with separate cocktail tavern, but it's nice they had a separate room for the ceremony just in case it rained. The venue came with a day of coordinator. Ours was Teresa. She was professional and experienced. You could tell this isn't anything new for her, she's done this a lot. The staff know how to run a smooth wedding. Everything is organized and on a timeline. Although I did wish at times Teresa had communicated more during the planning process, she really did take care of everything the day of. We had one meeting with her months before the wedding where we decided on the food and timeline, and then we saw her again for the rehearsal the day before the wedding. I had brought some boxes to the rehearsal with my 'memory table stuff', candles, 'chalkboard signs' etc. and Teresa literally told me to put it on a table and she would take care of the rest. I left it up to her and had absolutely no stress the day of. The staff was amazing. The food was top notch for a wedding. Guests commented on the delicious cocktail food like the scallops, barbecue shrimp in bacon, and lamb lollipops. Even though we couldn't go to cocktail hr because we were taking pics, the staff had a plate of all of it at our sweetheart table. My grandma told me she's never been to a wedding where the kitchen doors opened and staff flooded out to serve all my guests within 5 mins. For the meal, the filet mignon and crab cake were perfectly cooked. We walked around and saw people's plates wiped clean, they ate every bite. In all honesty we could have done without some things, like for dessert we already had cupcakes, so buying the ice cream sundae station, chocolate covered strawberries, and 'Boardwalk French fries' station as our favor when people left was too much food. Problem was the venue makes sure you pay a minimum price so we had more food towards the end of the night than we needed. The venue is extremely expensive; however, considering the service and quality we got, I don't regret it. I've heard horror stories from other less expensive venues that don't do a good job and create stress for the bride. If you can afford this venue and want a place that completely takes care of everything, this is it! I highly recommend it. Just go into it knowing your budget. Our wedding was a beautiful day!

We just had our wedding here on Friday, 8/19/16 and Matt and I are so glad we chose the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club to host our big day! From start to finish, the entire team at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club was incredible! They were all so professional and a pleasure to work with. Matt and I had the pleasure of working with Samantha from Day 1 all the way through to our big day. She made the entire process so easy! She had everything under control, right down to all the details. She helped provide several recommendations for other vendors in the area as well as good advice along the way (since she's done this a time or two before lol) Her advice was always spot on! We really are grateful for all the support Samantha gave us through this process. The Chesapeake Bay Beach Club is an absolutely gorgeous venue, the sunsets are incredible and the grounds are so well kept - it was just perfect!
