We highly recommend using City BBQ for your wedding! They were extremely responsive and flexible in changing our menu as we got closer to the wedding date. The food was delicious and there was plenty for everyone to eat! They are honest with their recommendations for amount of food you actually need. Some caterers we met with try to get you to buy more than you actually would need so that honesty is greatly appreciated!

City Q was awesome! We got so many compliments from our guests about our food. My husband and I eat at City Q all of the time so when I saw that they did wedding catering I was pumped! We got to do a tasting at our home location which included a full menu tasting with someone attending to us. This was so fun and they packaged it all up to go home with us. Our purchase included set up, display, their catering staff, and plates/cutlery. The set up was beautiful, especially for a barbecue place. Someone from my family who works at a catering place was taking pictures because they got ideas to take back home with them. Their catering staff assisted me with getting my meal so i didn't get my dress messy. They also had a cake cutting service which was really helpful. We got so many compliments on our food. Our guests were so happy!

It took me forever to find a way to review this team! I live in Chicago, but City Barbeque is based out of Ohio, so I hope this is the right group! If so, I do not have enough nice things to say about the staff & this company. My husband and I had a backyard wedding and I cannot imagine my day without them. Their professionalism, courtesy and the beautiful setup added to the ambiance of our day. And most importantly, the food was fresh and delicious, all for an incredibly reasonable price. I would bring this group back for any event, wedding or otherwise!

City Barbeque did an excellent job catering our rehearsal dinner in Hocking Hills! The food was delicious, and the friendly staff worked quickly and efficiently to get everything set up and ready to go. The wedding coordinators were always helpful and quick to respond to emails. Would absolutely recommend!

We had a wonderful catering experience through City BBQ. They were right in line with many other barbeque joints price wise. We chose the full-service option, so they also bused the tabled and were available for anything we needed. They showed up promptly, were dressed very presentable, and were extremely nice to everyone. The catering set up is so beautiful- it went perfectly with our barn theme! The leftovers were packaged for us after dinner, as well. I am so thankful we chose City BBQ! Their new coordinator is awesome!

I cannot thank the caterers that came down from City BBQ enough. They were very polite, professional, courteous, and helped make that part of my day as stress free as possible. they even packed up all of the leftovers and put them in the spare fridge where they found room. I can express how much I appreciate the services received from the moment we started this journey.

Everyone at our wedding loved City BBQ! The food was absolutely amazing. Even on my wedding day, when I didn't have an appetite, I actually was able to eat because the food was so good. The whole process of planning was easy and wonderful. One thing I really enjoyed was the staff. When I went up to get my food, they had a staff member ready to carry my plate and serve my food for me. Which was greatly appreciated because I was tripping over my dress. That staff member was incredibly friendly and funny. When they were leaving, she even ran up to me to say congratulations. That was so meaningful!

SO easy to work with. Kim was so flexible and made me feel comfortable with every decision we made! Presentation was GORGEOUS and we got so many compliments on the food! We love how classy it looked. Thanks for everything!

Everything about working with City BBQ was perfect. Randy and his team are so accommodating and willing to please. You can get multiple tastings if desired and they are willing to substitute most things on their set lists of catering options. All of our wedding guests LOVED the food - who wouldn't?! I would highly recommend anyone looking for good, easy food to make an appointment with Randy and City BBQ!

City BBQ was the most reasonably priced caterer in Hilliard. They did a fantastic job adjusting numbers as we needed (we had some last minute changes), they took care of the set up, and the food was DELICIOUS! So easy and stress free which is a big deal!

City Barbecue was amazing for our wedding. The price was great, the service was great and the food was incredible! Our guests keep telling us how great the food was and how they like that it wasn't the normal dry chicken. Highly recommended!

The actual catering service the day of was amazing. The people were so kind and helpful and were really there to please. Everything before that was not quite so smooth. The contact person at City BBQ was terrible at communication, she didn't seem to be that knowledgeable or helpful when we would ask for her opinion on quantities of food/drinks for the number of guests we had, and was not good at emailing us the information we needed-like the link to make payments. All of that aside, I could not be happier with the service we received on my actual wedding day.

Food was great, guests loved the dinner. Flexible with changes and the staff that was on hand at the wedding was very friendly and professional. Sometimes had trouble getting a hold of the catering office, but other than that everything went well and it was very affordable.

I must admit I was very much so on the fence when my now husband suggested we try City BBQ as our reception caterer after we had a falling out with our first pick. I was very concerned about many things but being a stressed out bride who was two months away and feeling like everything was about to collapse around me, I said sure. I don't think I have ever made a better decision. Randy in Columbus was amazing. He was able to calm me down, get a plan together, walk us through everything, and provided constant contact for anything I started to lose my mind about. He helped us build our menu and get all of our extras taken care of without batting an eye. When the day came, the food was the only thing I wasn't worried about. Everything was presented beautifully, the staff was amazing and really went above and beyond, the food was perfect, and everyone was happy. Randy even came around multiple times to make sure we had enough to eat. I mentioned I forgot to grab a corn bread and before I knew it, it had appeared on my plate. I can't thank the entire staff for all they did for us. And to top it all off, our guests were so impressed and full. Its been 3 weeks and I'm still getting calls about how amazing the food was. Thank you City BBQ!

We had decided to do a low key rehearsal dinner at our house. We ended up going with one of the "Pig Up 'N Go" Packs- with some extra side add ons. Everyone loved it. We fed about 20 people (with leftovers!) for just under $200 and everyone LOVED the food. I also really liked that you can set the time that you want to pick the order up- really helped work around our schedule at such a hectic time.

The ordering process was simple. Everyone loved the food and asked where it was from. By the time my bride and I got to the buffet line, most of the food was gone! It seemed that people really loved the pulled pork.

Our guests loved the food at our wedding. I had many guests come up to me and say this is the best wedding food that they had every had. City BBQ is not the fanciest food for a wedding but if you want something that is delicious that your guests will love I would highly recommend this.

I enjoying eating at City BBQ any night of the week, so to have them cater the wedding was no a brainer. City BBQ was also a preferred vendor for my venue. The food was so excellent; there were no leftovers by the end of dinner. I saw several guests going back for 2nd and 3rd plates. Working and planning with the food was incredibly easy and laid back. They customized my menu to my specifications with several opportunities to change my mind if I wanted. I did not have decoration planned for the food table, so my event coordinator through City BBQ decorated it based on how I described the feel of the reception. This can be anxiety provoking for the DIY-control freak Bride; especially since I was not able to see it until the reception. BUT IT WAS PERFECT! They did such a wonderful job. Highly recommended for quality, price, and professionalism.

The food was delivered on time & everything was set up for us. Huge trays of food, we had more than enough for everyone & even had some left overs. Everything was fresh & delicious. Our wedding guests came with hardy appetites & nobody left hungry! Guests complimented us on our choice of caterer & on how everything tasted! We got A LOT of food for our money. Will use them again for parties & such. We never had a problem getting through to someone to help us with ordering & finalizing everything. We chose the 2 meats & 2 sides option, plus a fruit tray. They were cheapest per person that we found; the option that we chose was about $14 pp. We were very pleased with their services.

they were 1 of 2 caterers at my wedding the food was amazing and ready when promised. extra sides were thrown in at no charge everyone loved the choice of meat.

I had a great experience with this company. I didn't necessarily use this location, they have a woman who finds the location closest to you, but does all the work for you via email/phone. Cost per person was by far cheaper than any catering company and we got more food! Plus we were able to keep any extra food. We did the two meat, two side portion. They dropped off the food and everything was warm. We did not want to pay extra for them to stay and setup/serve, but they do have this option. Allowed changes up until the week of the wedding (deductions only, no add-ons). Food was as good as if we in the restaurant!

We wanted a more casual rehearsal dinner, so we held a cookout catered by City Barbeque. The food was delicious, HUGE portions, great value, plus the people who took the order and delivered the food were super helpful. They deliver and set up everything for you as part of the catering cost! Will definitely use again for parties in the future.

The food was great! The guests were happy to have barbeque for the reception. But it was sometimes difficult to reach the catering offices and get details finalized.

City BBQ did a great job. We had full service catering. The were professional, prompt, and it was all so yummy. Our guests raved and thanked us for something differant than standard wedding fare.

we tried city bar-b-que but they ended up costing more than Hoggy's, which is who we used. Also-not as much of a full service catering experience as what Hoggy's offered.

We could not say enough good things about the service we received from City BBQ. They were fantastic, the food was always amazing, and the workers for the wedding were very friendly. It was the perfect choice for us! I would definitely recommend them!
