She was always SO king and accommodating to our schedules and made sure we stayed on track with all of the details leading up to our special day. The whole entire CJs team (even though we didn't get to meet all of them) was just spectacular it was the best weekend of our lives and we couldn't have done it without Leah and the support of the amazing team! emporarily living in Arkansas while she was finishing Grad School when they became engaged. She knew she wanted a small, intimate wedding in the South but not necessarily in a barn. She started looking for venues online and found CJ's Off the Square on the Knot. She fell in love with the pictures and from being out of state, wanted an all-inclusive venue. Since she was out of State, she had a zoom meeting with Sidney. The one thing that stood out for me as the mother of the bride was that before she could sign a contract, she had to visit the venue in person, so there weren't any surprises on her wedding day. On a cold and rainy day in November we flew to Franklin to look at the venue. The only surprise was that it was more beautiful in person. It was exactly what she had wanted. During the entire process, Sidney was wonderful. She was thorough in all the details of what was included and what was not as well as offering ideas and suggestions. She was always prompt in responding to the many questions we had, and my daughter never felt "out of the loop". I loved the tasting event. The food was delicious, and she ended up choosing an entree she wasn't thinking of at first. I was impressed that you chose 2 entree selections rather than the standard each guests picks one entree. I received nothing but compliments about the food. Several guests told me that at most weddings, they end up having to get something to eat afterwards because there was not enough food. The portions were more than enough. Her wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect. There were no glitches. The bridal party did get ready there with hair and makeup done onsite. This was a great option and made the day less hectic. It rained most of the day. But to my amazement, my daughter did not say a single word about the rain. It cleared about an hour before the ceremony. I asked my daughter the next day how she stayed so calm while it was raining. She said without hesitation, she was not worried at all. She knew that there was a backup plan if needed and she wasn’t concerned. Wow! That says a lot about the confidence that she had in this venue. I am still receiving compliments about the wedding. I cannot recommend Cj’s highly enough. It was perfect.

The music created such a fun, joyful vibe—we couldn’t have asked for better. The whole experience—from the tranquil garden ceremony to the vibrant, unforgettable party—was beyond what we imagined. Contrary to what I expected, the planning process was stress-free because of CJ's almost-all-inclusive, clear process. At all scheduled decision-making meetings, our wedding coordinator Leah was consistently professional, responsive, and kind. When making a decision with her on setup, menu choices, menu cards, cake, DJ, bartending, all your decisions are already included, so there is no added cost. (You can choose upgrades, but there is no pressure to do so.) The menu tasting night was fabulous--like we were guests at our own event--and gave us confidence that the meal was going to be a highlight (it was!). Venues always ask about dietary restrictions, but CJ's follow-through was above and beyond. One of our guests with severe food allergies confessed to me afterwards that she assumed she wouldn't be able to eat--but she was met at her reception table by a staff member with a clipboard who re-asked all the food allergy questions, bringing her a special plate, and for that reason she felt confident and was able to enjoy dinner. The plating, linen and glassware options are plentiful. Our photographers said CJ's was their favorite venue for photos--so many unique settings within the garden and house. The champagne wall at the reception was a lovely addition. The chandeliers under the pavilion make for romantic, elevated reception photos. The DJ (included) was outstanding and the Zoom meetings with him were informative and helpful; he did exactly what the bride and groom asked for, and the reception energy was impressive. Our florist was Petite Petal from CJ's short list of florists they love, and Sara delivered a Monet-themed extravaganza that went above and beyond. The air conditioning in the bridal suite and groom's wine cellar works very well--I was worried beforehand! The staff brought out cold towels when it got hot, and our guests loved that thoughtful touch. Zero regrets; CJ's has SO many advantages. Many of our guests gushed during and after about the beauty of the venue and professionalism of the staff. Thank you CJ's, for making our Franklin hometown wedding everything we wanted it to be.

"how is it going to come together in six months?" and the answer was "Its possible because of our venue." I was never stressed throughout my entire wedding planning process. CJ's off the square was the PERFECT venue and CJ Dickson was the BEST. She handled everything. I was stress free the entire time. CJ was delightful to work with, she is so organized and you can tell she is truly an expert. The venue is absolutely stunning and the food is delicious! The staff was so kind and on top of everything. The day could not have been more smooth. If I had to do my wedding all over again, I would pick CJs off the square again and again. I cant recommend this venue enough. 1000/10.

dreamt of a wedding venue with a pond and outdoor ceremony in a garden… and CJ’s literally had every aspect of my vision! The fact that CJ’s had everything in one place was perfect. Getting ready in the beautiful house, having the ceremony in the gorgeous garden, followed by cocktail hour and the reception in the covered pavilion flowed so nicely and our guests loved the convenience of everything! Our guests also still comment to this day about how lovely our wedding was and how gorgeous the venue was! In addition to the incredible venue, Sidney went ABOVE AND BEYOND as our planner! We live out of state and I am very type A. Sidney never once made me feel like I was asking too many questions, sending too many emails or requesting too many phone calls. Sidney was so attentive and knew the venue, timeline, etc. like the back of her hand. I felt so at ease knowing that she had everything under control. I had so many questions about logistics and Sidney was always a step ahead, explaining how she/the staff already had that handled so I didn’t have to do anything on my wedding day! From packing up the bridal suite, to setting up ALL of the decor, to packing a to-go box of our cake and treats - Sidney and the staff did it all! I felt so relaxed and able to enjoy every moment of our wedding day! Sidney also made us feel like our wedding day was just as important to her as it was to us! We had so much fun every step of the way with Sidney - from creating my wedding Pinterest board to seeing the details come alive on our wedding day - Sidney was there every step of the way with a smile, encouragement and happiness. The experience at CJ’s is much more than just having your wedding at their venue. From the meetings with your planner, their fabulous menu tasting event, vendor recommendations, communication, the continually updated and detailed wedding day timeline created by your planner… every step was exactly what I had hoped for during my wedding era! (Note - I chose to be hands-on because that is my personality, however, if I had a busy job or chose to be less involved, Sidney would have knocked it out of the park and done it all with minimal effort on my end. That is the beauty of booking at CJ’s and having Sidney as your planner. YOU get to choose how involved you’d like to be and you can simply trust your planner and the staff to make the rest happen!). As someone that has been intimately involved in planning 3 wedding at this point, I can say that CJs made it as easy as possible to do this remote planning. Sidney came prepared to meetings to discuss open items. She presented options for table scapes, vendors, and rental items. She also helped to form the overall vibe of the wedding and suggested different items that helped fit that vision. She wasn’t pushy, and from my point of view did not try to over sell anything. The day of coordination was also great, which I can attest to because as the MOH I wasn’t running around like a chicken with my head cut off doing last minute prep. Overall it was a great experience, and if anyone is on the fence about working with the team, I hope this positive review speaks for itself.

Nashville area during our engagement, Sidney provided us with the vendors she trusts and every single one ended up great! She was a great resource and kept us on track. As for the actual wedding day, this is where I think CJ’s, Sydney, and the rest of the staff shine. From the rehearsal the day before to the sparkler exit, everything is organized and well planned. There was not a single time where I had to worry about where something was or how things were running. I can’t even imagine not having the CJ’s team there because it allowed my husband and I to truly enjoy our wedding day and soak in what we had planned for the past few months as oppose to worrying about the details. CJ’s is a well oiled machine and it shows. They know exactly what they are doing and are ready for anything that gets thrown their way. Yes, the venue is stunning and quaint with the garden, pond, and historic house, but it is truly the wonderful people you’re paying for. They are awesome! And made our wedding day such a hit! A few moments I want to call out: - Sydney helping to bustle my wedding dress. It was complicated and after my mother, MOH, and husband were struggling to find all the hooks, Sydney swooped in and saved the day! - The service staff were exemplary. I know one of my young guests loved the fried green tomatoes and befriended one of the servers to get as many as she could. This tied to the bar staff whipping up a mock tail so that she could feel like the adults, made her first wedding a blast. She still talks about how much fun she had 6 months later! - Sydney keeping an eye on our young guests and feeding the fish in the pond for them. - Sydney brought my husband and I a side of chimichurri sauce during dinner because we loved it during the tasting, but ended up not getting it. It was such a pleasant surprise! - DJ Scott! He is so much fun and handles the speeches/music flawlessly. Cannot recommend him enough! - The rest of staff making me and my now husband feel comfortable and at ease during the whole day. I did not need to worry about when the flowers were coming or if the tables were set. When waiting to walk down the aisle, they gave me reassurance to take a deep breath and then fluffed my dress. I truly just needed to show up and be present on one of the most important days of my life. And at the end of the day isn’t that all you want for your wedding day? A huge thank you to Sydney and the staff at CJ’s! While I don’t remember all the names of everyone there that day, you all made our day so special. Thank you!
