I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for everything you did to make our wedding day absolutely perfect! From the moment we met, I knew we were in capable hands, but you both went above and beyond to ensure every detail was executed flawlessly.

WOW! Does Classic Events know how to plan a wedding! Their meticulous attention to detail was fabulous. They helped at every stage, from picking wonderful vendors to coordinating day-of duties. I was impressed by their professionalism throughout. They gave me the greatest gift—to be fully present at our daughter’s wedding without having to think about timelines, last minute guest changes or lists. I’m so appreciative of their help.

Danielle and her team at Classic Events NYC went above and beyond to help me create the wedding of my dreams. When I started wedding planning, I really had no idea what to expect and worried that I wouldn't have a "vision" or strong opinions on all of the decisions to be made. I also worried that the entire process would be extremely overwhelming. However, thankfully through all of it, I had Danielle. She created such a positive environment in which to explore everything, and broke each decision down into manageable pieces. She gently guided me to find what it was I liked, gave me different ideas to consider, and gave me her opinion when I needed it. Danielle has absolutely exquisite taste, so I trusted her guidance in every decision. There can also be a lot of stress when dealing with vendors - but Danielle was always our advocate when it came to negotiating with vendors and figuring out what we really wanted to have at the wedding, and what was unnecessary (so that the money could be better spent elsewhere). Danielle was a constant source of support throughout the entire planning process - whenever I reached out to her, she was there to give me advice about how to best navigate different things that arose, whether it be figuring out table seating or how to coordinate day-of logistics. Danielle and her wonderful team were present with me and my husband on our wedding day and I have to say, I was calmer than I ever thought possible because I knew Danielle had it all covered. I was truly able to be in the moment (from early morning with the bridesmaids until the after-party) because I knew that Danielle was on top of all logistics and would handle any issue that arose. Danielle made sure that the only thing I had to do on my wedding day was enjoy it. The experience and expertise that Danielle brought to each and every aspect of wedding planning was phenomenal. My wedding went off seamlessly and was truly the most incredible night of my life. As I said during wedding planning and have been saying since I got married: the best decision I ever made with respect to my wedding was hiring Danielle.

Danielle and her team made our wedding a dream! Responsive, fun, sensitive, professional, creative and much more, the classic events team did a fantastic job with all elements of our wedding. Our venue had many strict requirements and Danielle did an amazing job of meeting all of them while still achieving our vision. We feel very lucky to have had Danielle as our wedding planner!

Danielle was truly instrumental in ensuring that my husband and I had the wedding of our dreams, despite the blizzard and record-low temperatures in Manhattan the week of my winter wedding. In the snowy days leading up to our big day, Danielle took so much stress off of our shoulders—she stayed in contact with all of our vendors, including our photographers and videographers who were flying in from out of town—so that we could rest assured that everything would go off seamlessly. Her expertise and experience handling any and all wedding issues put us at ease. Many of our guests weren't able to attend due to the weather, but Danielle quickly handled all last-minute changes to our guest list, adjusted our floor plan, and communicated all changes to the venue. Lastly, Danielle is a true professional and it showed on our wedding day. Thanks to Danielle, our entire day stayed meticulously on schedule. My family and I were so grateful that we were able to sit back and just enjoy the day. She is really incredible at her job and I cannot recommend her enough!

Working with Danielle from Classic Events was one of the best decisions we made in the wedding planning process. It was an easy decision, as Danielle and her team provided month-of services for my husband's sister's wedding four years ago. After experiencing Danielle's expertise at their wedding, we knew Danielle would be the perfect choice for our big day too.
Danielle made the weeks leading up to the wedding much easier on my husband and I. As the wedding neared, Danielle and I had weekly check-ins to make sure all of the last details were finalized. She created a personalized and comprehensive timeline and checklists to ensure we had everything we needed for our big day. Danielle communicated with all of our vendors, obtained insurance certificates and confirmed timeline details. What could have been a very demanding and time-consuming task for us was all handled seamlessly by Danielle, which we were so thankful for.
On the day of our wedding, Danielle was calm and organized. She made sure everything was moving along as planned. We had planned to have an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour but due to rain, we had to move everything inside. Danielle managed lighting and decor alterations to accommodate this change, and only brought items to our attention when necessary. Also, Danielle came to the rescue when my flower girl got trapped in the bathroom in the bridal suite as we were about to leave for photos.
I am sure that without Danielle's organization, support and guidance, our wedding would not have come together in the way it did. My husband and I, as well as our families, could not be more grateful for Danielle and would recommend her whole-heartedly to anyone in need of wedding planning services.

We got Danielle involved only a few weeks before the wedding, but actually wish we had done it much earlier. She was such a help and made sure everything went smoothly on our big day.
She actually stopped Manhattan traffic for our wedding party to get pictures crossing the street.
Worth every penny spent. She was excellent and really went above and beyond.

We absolutely loved working with Danielle and I don’t know if we would have had the same wedding without her. Danielle brought a level of expertise, contacts and classic, beautiful style that we were hoping she could help us execute.
From the first time we met Danielle we really liked her approach, she’s always interested to hear what you want to do, making sure the vision is what you want, not necessarily what she did for her last client. If you look at her portfolio one thing is clear, she has fabulous taste and we wanted her help to help us pull it all together, from the welcome bags to the flowers and the cloths, making sure the theme of the wedding was evident in every single detail throughout the entire night. And that’s exactly what she did, she was honest with us when she thought we wouldn’t like something, set up early/often meetings with us when she thought we needed more examples and boiled the million choices down to 2-3 recommendations that were digestible.
I also really liked Danielle personally. In the end of the day you spend a lot of time planning your wedding with your planner so you should like them! She is thoughtful, pleasant and respectful. From a planning perspective she’s responsible and always on top of her vendors the way you would want her to be. She is a total pro, especially being from NYC, and has built a great reputation and partnership with a lot of vendors you end up working with (whether she recommended them or you found them yourself).
Danielle not only worked with me but my fiancé (who she was adamant could go to her if he needed anything and everything) and my mom. Made sure to handle any family intricacies seamlessly while making sure everyone was happy with every decision. She solved problems almost always before they reached us and always had a solution in hand no matte what came up. In the end there will be something that doesn’t go as planned and having someone to pick up the pieces but also reassure you could not be more important.
Day of: If you’re reading this and don’t think you need a full/partial planner but are considering the one month/day of, two words, do it. Her whole staff was so incredibly helpful; I don’t know how we would have gotten through without her. She helped coordinate all of our vendors while drawing out a multiple page time line down to every detail. Its not so much about making sure it happens at the right second, its about making sure you and your family can truly enjoy the entire day without worrying about a thing.

Danielle was always available to chat, meet up, and come to any appointments I needed her to come to. She understood my vision for an elegant New York City wedding and guided me in the right directions to the correct vendors. Classic events is classy. My wedding day was effortless on my part as Danielle and her team managed everything! From the vendors, to first looks, to cake cutting. Not many brides can say that their wedding day was perfect, but I honestly can say that because of Danielle!

We cannot say enough about how wonderful it was to work with Danielle and her team! We hired Classic Events for Month of Planning for our Hamptons wedding. They were so supportive, professional and calm throughout the entire process.
We had a few BIG issues that came up before our wedding and my husband and I were so happy we had Danielle on our team to help! They did a wonderful job creating a flawless day of timeline, communicating to all vendors and making sure everything ran smoothly. We would highly recommend working with Danielle and her team!

Danielle and her team at Classic Events exceeded all of our expectations. My Husband and I did most of the heavy lifting but realized we needed an extra push across the finish line. Classic Events' month of planning allowed us to pull of the wedding of our dreams. Danielle coordinated all the last minute details with our vendors, created a wonderful schedule of events that we shared with our family and wedding party, and MOST importantly she answered everyone's questions so that I could enjoy being a Bride! If you're on the fence, I can assure you that the peace of mind is worth every penny. You are in great hands with Danielle and her team.

I could not have imagined planning my wedding with anyone besides Danielle! She made the entire process smooth, fun, and complete stress free (which is saying a lot because I tend to get quite stressed out :)). She was so incredibly nice and professional from the first meeting. She literally provided everything we asked for--her vendor recommendations were spot on, and if we ever had a question or concern about anything, she followed up immediately. She was great at reading my wants and needs and providing advice accordingly--she often made it feel like we were her only clients. I am pretty organized and good at planning myself, and she somehow managed to always be a few steps ahead. But I have to say the absolute highlight of working with Danielle was having her there on our wedding day. I was able to focus 110% on having the best time with my husband because I knew she would be behind the scenes making sure that everything went according to plan. I would highly recommend Classic Events for any bride! Danielle is the ABSOLUTE BEST and totally worth it! My husband and I even missed talking with her regularly after our wedding was over :).

Danielle and her team are simply the best! I’m not your average bride (I used to be a professional event planner and had a wedding with over 400 people and 7 official large events). Being that I am only planning on getting married once, finding the right partner to do this with (aside from my lifetime partner) was key. I originally thought I didn’t need a planner because I had the skills, but quickly I learned that the value of having someone who plans wedding in NYC as their life. Danielle was not our first planner, I had a friend who was starting her business as a planner, and then talked with someone who planned a friend’s wedding. Both of them were flakey and didn’t add much value. As I said to my now husband, they won’t help me sleep better the night before our wedding. We were lucky to be connected to Danielle and Classic Events by our florist. The second I spoke with her on the phone, I knew she was a professional. This is what she does. This is what makes her happy... making the day of your dreams a reality.
No matter what I threw at Danielle (from getting the Jersey Boys at our wedding, to last minute boozy cotton candy giveaway gifts) she was ready to handle it and help. Though she herself is Catholic, she helped us create a very Jewish wedding that was interwoven with tradition and fun. What many other people thought couldn’t be done (a ceremony for 250, Horah for 300, and buffet station party for 450 until 1am... all in one place) Danielle made a reality.
But that’s just the things and events, any planner can do that (in theory). What Danielle provided was piece of mind. Anytime I asked a question she either responded with years of experience or told me she’d look into it (and always did). Leading up to the actual wedding there were issues (escorts cards not arriving, shuttle buses with incorrect addresses, and a giant Jenga set that never left my apartment to get to the venue) and Danielle not only handled them all, but guided me through making the right decisions to reduce my stress. Often she didn’t even tell me about a problem until she and her team had solved it. She also helped navigate conflicting family priorities and making everyone happy with the grace of an angel.
Our actual wedding was incredible!!! Most things were perfect, and anything that didn’t go as planned was better than what was planned :) that’s the magic of Danielle, she makes right what goes a little off the rails and you only notice that the train reached its destination, none of the bumps a long the way. I can’t wait to recommend her to every bride I meet.

From the start, Danielle took the time to understand exactly what we wanted for our wedding, and from there she worked tirelessly to help us achieve our vision. From start to finish, Danielle handled our wedding - from vendor selection, to stationary, day of items etc. - with absolute professionalism. We hired Danielle and her team at Classic Events to provide month-of coordination for our July wedding. I have to say, I was hesitant to hire a planner at first and wasn't sure what level of planning I needed or whether I needed a planner at all. But, it was apparent to me from my first meeting with Danielle that not only was she a true professional who knew the industry inside and out, but she was kind and someone I would enjoy working with. I was incredibly relaxed on my wedding day and it was 100% due to the fact that I had Danielle by my side and I had full confidence that she had everything under control. Everything went off without a hitch and it is all due to her tireless efforts.
As a testament to how wonderful Danielle and her team are, by the end of the wedding, I felt so sad that we wouldn't be working together anymore that I immediately started to conjure up events in my mind that I could hire them to plan for me. Don't let Danielle's kindness fool you - she is beyond competent and totally kick-ass but in a very sophisticated way. I really don't think there is anything Danielle can't do and hiring her was the best thing we did for ourselves and for our wedding. We could not have done it without her!!

Throughout our wedding planning process and even the day of, people were constantly commenting that we seemed very relaxed. We attribute that to the amazing efforts of Danielle at Classic Events. From our first meeting, she understood the balance of our formal venue with a desire to throw a fun party for all our guests, while incorporating personal touches. It was evident in all our meetings with vendors that Danielle has strong relationships across the city, and is able to identify the best combinations for her clients. She was extremely responsive and patient throughout planning, and ready to help out with anything (even when you accidentally drop a fork of food down your wedding dress in the middle of cocktail hour). We didn’t have to worry about a single detail the day of our wedding, Danielle was always steps ahead of us and keeping everyone on schedule.

Danielle Elder and the team at Classic Events planned my wedding, and I am still getting compliments on it. As a little background, I should say that Danielle and her team really had their hands full with me. I waited too long to begin planning, so everything was under the gun. I found the whole wedding planning task to be very daunting, as I’m just not that fabulous at planning anything, frankly, and I’m certainly not the most organized soul on the planet. But Danielle took me on fearlessly, and gently guided me through everything that needed to be done, from getting the invites ready to booking all the vendors. And the people at Classic Events seem to know all the best vendors out there. Everything was great, the photographer was just awesome, the venue was perfect, the florist was amazing, and the cake was beautiful. Add to that the fact that Danielle and her team had to deal with some very fractious family members of mine the day of the wedding, and did so with aplomb. I have to say I can’t recommend Classic Events highly enough. I give them an A+++++.

These ladies, especially Danielle, were an IMMENSE help! We hired them for the last 4-6 weeks before our wedding to tie up the loose ends. They were on top of everything, from figuring out timelines, coordinating the vendors, and answering all of our questions. Danielle is always professional and patient and is truly so knowledgeable about all aspects of wedding planning. I couldn't imagine the big day without their help - everything ran so smoothly and they put me at ease. Weddings are hectic no matter what, so having that extra help is so important. I would absolutely recommend Classic Events.

Danielle was an absolute pleasure to work with. We were planning my wedding for almost 2 years and this past Saturday I was able to see how our vision played out. It was beyond what I expected and everyone kept telling me how spectacular the wedding was. Where do we even begin?! Danielle and her team at Classic Events made our wedding day the best day we could have ever dreamed of! In fact- we couldn't even have dreamed it would have turned out as amazing as it did!! From the start, CE guided us through the overall planning and designing processes; save the dates and invitations; floral design; lighting; decor; the list goes on.
Game day execution was IMPECCABLE! We always heard couples say that they were so stressed out planning their wedding and even during their weddings.. I don't understand why! Danielle and CE took care of everything AND made sure that we were happy at all times. We never once felt an ounce of stress - I almost feel guilty saying that!
We contemplated attempting to go about this wedding planning stuff on our own - thank goodness we didn't! It felt so overwhelming trying to plan every little thing- so after a few hours of reading a million sites and printing a million to-do lists, we decided that it would be best for our future together to look for a planner. Thankfully, the heavens opened and shone a light on Danielle!
We couldn't be more thankful and appreciate of all the effort put into our big day. There's no WAY in the world that we could have enjoyed our wedding as much as we did had Danielle and CE not been a part of it. Thanks to CE, we were also able to perfect little nuances of our wedding day, like customized candy, gift bags, and other little keepsake items. If we had to plan the entire thing ourselves, we would have never had the time to think of the little things that turn out leaving lasting impressions!
I could really go on and on about Danielle and CE, and I'd be happy to if you wanted to reach out to me, but the moral of this story is: if you want to make your wedding the best day of your life, you need to consult with Danielle and her team at Classic Events. Danielle was everything that I could have asked for. We hired her for day of month of, and added many things to help us in the planning in addition to. She was a wonderful liaison with the venue, the vendors, and a true friend to me and my fiance throughout the process.
I felt she always conveyed our desires, and respected our feelings. Her chic taste worked perfectly with the look we were going for. Danielle was always there for a hug and advice, and has an amazing eye from everything from venue set up to hair and makeup.
By the time that the wedding came this past August, not only did she help create one of the best days of our lives, but if she wasn't at the actual wedding, I would have sent her an invite!

Danielle & her team were a pleasure to work with. Danielle was extremely organized, showed great attention to detail, and was very helpful thru the entire planning process. Our venue was unique and required us to work with many different vendors. Danielle did a great job communicating with them and taking care of all details associated with working with each individual company. Danielle was always responsive over e-mails and was always respectful of our concerns and wishes (even if some were out of the ordinary!)
Our wedding was beautiful & we had an amazing time. Nothing would have come together so seamlessly if it wasn’t for Danielle and her team. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for wedding help!

Danielle and her team at Classic Events are the best! I cannot recommend Danielle enough - she is organized, thorough, patient, creative, and kind. Hiring Danielle to help plan my wedding was the best decision my mother and I could have made.
From the very beginning, Danielle understood the vision we had in mind for my wedding and came up with ideas that fit with our style. She always made herself available to answer questions and offer advice on wedding related matters ranging from the big (coming up with an overall look for the wedding) to the small (resolving disagreements over postage stamps). My mother and I also appreciated how Danielle would offer her honest opinion on pricing and value - what services were a good deal, where we should be more willing to spend and where we could save.
Perhaps even most important, Danielle took much of the stress out of wedding planning by coordinating with all of the vendors on our behalf. She always listened carefully to what we wanted and was able to translate our vague descriptions of what we were looking for into concrete instructions for each of the vendors. She also made sure that all important wedding-related decisions were made well in advance so that we could be calm and relaxed in the weeks leading up to the wedding. As a result, by the time the wedding finally arrived, Danielle had everything planned out and organized so that it was completely stress-free!
It was an absolute pleasure to work with Danielle and I am so grateful for her help. My wedding was everything I wanted it to be and more - in large part due to Danielle and her team. Danielle had a tough job - and did wonderfully. The day was filled with a few challenges, which I heard was inevitable- but she handled it well.. I was able to focus on the wedding, and trusted her to make sure I was where I needed to be, WHEN I needed to be. I fully recommend her for Day-Of, and can assume that if I hired her to plan the whole event, she would have done just as remarkably.

Classic Events provided day-of planning services for our wedding and ended up being one of the best investments we have ever made. The month before the wedding, Danielle worked closely with us and our vendors to create an incredibly detailed and invaluable wedding timeline. Everyone knew when and where he or she had to be on the big day. Three days before the wedding, the venue threw us a curveball that made us crazy, but Danielle stepped in, told us not to worry, and organized a solution. When the big day finally arrived, Danielle and her assistant Nicole managed to tend to our every need, while simultaneously ensuring every detail from the catering, flowers, chuppah, placecards, and band was precise and beautiful. It’s like they were in five places all at once. Danielle, kept everyone moving and on schedule with a firm, but warm approach. Lastly, when we were outside taking pictures before the ceremony on a gorgeous but freezing fall day, she even took the bride’s frozen hands and put them in her pocket between shots to warm her up. Classic Events’ attention to all the small details with the personal caring touch allowed us and our families to fully enjoy every moment of the wedding and helped make it the best day of our lives!

Three cheers for Classic Events and Danielle Elder! From start to finish this team was organized, helpful and fun to work with. Danielle was incredibly respectful of our concerns and needs, coordinating a beautiful day that we'll remember for a lifetime. Even more importantly, she doesn't just tell you what you want to hear -- a type of candor I SO appreciated and found was very rare with the wedding coordinators I met. She's honest, direct and will give you the advice you need.
On a personal level, Danielle was sensitive and patient -- from fielding my persistent (dare I say, perhaps annoying?) questions about floral arrangements, to showing up at the hotel the morning-of to personally fix a toenail polish smudge, to caring for our older guests' needs. She is kind, smart, fun and warm.
I cannot recommend Classic Events highly enough. They are the BEST.

I used Danielle and her team from Classic Events in the month leading up to my wedding and they were amazing!! I had a difficult venue but Danielle and her team came in and took care of everything so that my day was absolutely stress free. From my first meeting with Danielle, I had complete confidence that everything would go as planned--and it did!! Danielle coordinated with all of my vendors, created a comprehensive timeline and managed everything the day of--including a printer that was closed unexpectedly--she immediately tracked them down and picked up my programs for me. She was also just beyond lovely to be around, which is so important. She thought of everything and the day was absolutely perfect!! I cannot recommend her more highly!! Danielle and her team were completely professional, organized, creative and so much fun! They also have great taste! Thank you, Classic Events, for being a part of our wedding and making it so easy for us to relax and enjoy!!

We were married this past July and we couldn't have asked for a better event planner than Danielle from Classic Events. We had our beautiful wedding at the Harvard Club and she made it a really classic and an elegant event.
Danielle made this day so easy and everything was done the right way!! She was amazing!!
It was also very easy and nice to work with her right from the start. You can feel she really loves to celebrate a couples love. Danielle and her team were truly dedicated and managed every detail and all the vendors she recommended were outstanding!
We definitely would recommend Classic Events to anyone dreaming of making their day as special and memorable as they made ours.

There are not enough words to compliment Danielle, her company, and her team. We worked together to plan my wedding for 18 months, and I couldn't have done it without her. Danielle's professionalism shines through in every thing she does - from helping us find the perfect vendors, to helping me through a potential meltdown over a bump in the road! She is knowledgable, hardworking, and extremely level-headed and calm. Over the months we worked together, she became a friend and a confidant to both me and my fiancé. She helped us stick to our budget and stay on track with our time line thought the whole process. When I told her my fiancé was getting ready for the wedding in Rockaway, I was getting ready in Westchester, our church was in Manhattan and reception in Brooklyn, she didn't even bat an eye. Danielle and her team helped everything come together seamlessly. Her work is invaluable. I am so happy I had the opportunity to work with Danielle and would recommend her company and services to anyone looking to hire a planner.

Classic Events was a critical part of making our day a success – not to mention working with them for day-of services was an absolute pleasure! Shannon and Danielle were extremely professional throughout the process. ~6 weeks out they made contact and helped us build the most organized and comprehensive timeline, down to the minute, complete with instructions on vendor arrivals, specific items to transport, checklists, etc. Nothing was missed. Danielle worked flawlessly leading up to the day reconfirming all of our vendors and informing them of timing. Her breadth of experience and depth of relationships with key vendors reassured us at every turn.
Shannon attended our rehearsal and was the perfect right-hand lady, ensuring all of our wishes were honored. On the day, Shannon and her assistant Nikki again upheld the same standard – they were there in the background at every moment, excellent multi-taskers, kept us perfectly on time and anything we needed they had. Shannon kept her calm, always thinking five steps ahead, knowing exactly what to raise to our attention and when.
Our day was a bit complex as we had guests at hotels near the venue (Tribeca), with transportation to the church (UES), and then additional transportation back to the venue – with bridal party, parents and b/g in separate transport and vendors setting up at both locations – everything went off without a hitch and it is completely thanks to them!
We would (and will) 1,000% recommend Classic Events. We were in the best hands at every moment and both we and our families were beyond pleased with their services.

We worked with Danielle and her team for "day-of" coordination. I know from friends who used other vendors that this service is literally just that, so from the start, our experience far exceeded our expectations. The day I met Danielle, I was immediately impressed by her punctuality (she will always be the first person to arrive at any appointment), her professional yet very personable attitude, and her do-what-it-takes approach. She made me feel very comfortable to reach out with questions as my husband and I navigated planning, and made sure we set aside a half day to walk through our venue and really visualize our wedding. Danielle thinks of absolutely everything, and I can honestly say, to all of my fellow type-a personalities, I have never had so much confidence in someone to deliver on every detail of our plan. (Her timelines are incredible - my entire family was impressed by how well-thought-out ours was.)
When it came down to our wedding day, I realized how connected Danielle was to all of our other vendors, even our priest. She had already developed relationships with them to ensure everything went smoothly. And of course, there are always little things that you can't control. The most amazing thing about Danielle is that she takes care of them calmly and without the bridal party or families ever being disrupted. (We had a wardrobe malfunction pre-ceremony and Danielle actually sewed my bridesmaid's dress up.)
We are all still talking about Danielle and her team as one of the best wedding decisions we made. Looking back now, I don't think they ever took a break... And Danielle made sure our families were all packed up and on the shuttles before she headed home. She's incredible. I could go on, but I think with one meeting, you will quickly understand why Classic Events is a must for your wedding day "team".

Danielle at Classic Events & her team were wonderful to work with. Her attention to detail and calming attitude made the planning process very smooth. She suggested great vendors & we ended up using a lot of them. She was extremely responsive over emailing always replying within 24 hours or less. She attended almost every, if not every vendor meeting and site visit. The weekend of the wedding went flawlessly. I would highly recommend Danielle and her team to execute a creative, elegant, customized event or wedding.

Danielle and her team from Classic Events were spectacular. We could NOT have had this wedding without their help and wedding planning wisdom. My husband and I discussed the day after our wedding that hiring Classic Events was the best wedding decision we made and the best money we spent. Danielle is a true professional in every sense of the word, is always calm and composed, and had everything under control and timed perfectly. She was the reason I was not a lunatic bridezilla and I got to really enjoy my wedding day. I told all of my friends and acquaintances who are engaged that they would be CRAZY not to hire Classic Events for their weddings. I honestly cannot compliment their team enough.

I cannot recommend Danielle Elder of Classic Events more highly, she is quite simply the best. We had our wedding at Studio 450, a raw space, and were basically responsible for bringing in everything ourselves. When we started to feel like we were dealing with a dozen different vendors, we felt a day of coordinator would be just what we needed. What we got from Danielle though was so much more. She went above and beyond for us, helping us make dozens of choices ranging from transportation to scheduling to photos to…well…everything! Her and her assistant Nikki were absolutely wonderful and a joy to work with. From our first phone call to our first meeting through our wedding day, Danielle was dependable, responsive and always five steps ahead of us making sure everything was perfect for our wedding. Because of her, we simply had the best day of our lives. Her professionalism, organization and eye for detail are unparalleled. On the day of, thanks to her meticulously crafted timeline, she literally handled everything and because of her we never felt an iota of stress but was always there gently reminding us of when we needed to be somewhere. Any brides or grooms to-be seriously should look no further for a wedding coordinator, Danielle is the best in the business.

Danielle had a huge role in making our wedding day the best day of our lives!
She kept me sane, fed and happy and probably shielded me from knowing about 100 little problems!
If anything went wrong I had NO IDEA. I was blissfully unaware of logistics thanks to Danielle. Danielle made me feel like nothing could go wrong. It was a stress-free day because of her!
Danielle and her assistant Nikki were truly amazing and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect!
Just a few minutes after meeting Danielle I knew she was the right choice. I felt instantly comfortable with her - like I could tell her anything.
I only hired Danielle as a day-of planner but she started working on a day of timeline and coordinating vendors a month before the big day and was always available to take my call or return my email. She continued helping me the day after the wedding with honeymoon plans.
She had a great relationship with all my vendors. She was polite and professional and was truly a pleasure to work with.
I highly recommend Danielle to help make your wedding day easy, stress-free and amazing!

I hired Danielle of Classic Events to provide full planning services approximately 9 months before my wedding. She understood at our first meeting the type of (traditional and nontraditional) wedding I was looking for and worked with me to give me exactly the day my husband and I wanted.
Danielle provided us with a selection of great vendors that I probably would never have found on my own, definitely not with such ease. She maximized my limited time by making the process of choosing vendors organized and focused. She offered recommendations and guidance at all times to assist me in making decisions, but the choices were always my own.
Danielle is a professional in every way. She always responded to me in a timely manner and answered all of my (and my various family member's) questions. She kept to the budget I set and made sure that everything happened in a timely way so that nothing ever felt rushed or stressful. She is also likeable and pleasant which helped make the planning process enjoyable.
I was able to relax in the days leading up to the wedding and the wedding day itself was completely stress-free because Danielle made sure everyone and everything was coordinated. I was able to focus on fully enjoying and experiencing my wedding because Danielle took care of everything. My husband, our families and I cannot thank her enough.

As soon as I met Danielle, I knew she would be the guiding light to help me have the wedding of my dreams. Danielle impresses as a knowledgeable, well organized and a professional planner. Who from the start was able to negotiate our contract for the venue and lock in the date with vendors. Every vendors recommend by her were excellent which resulted in elegant flowers and wonderful pictures for our wedding. We had our monthly meeting in the local cafe, and she was always warm and approachable. She kept all planning on time & me on track with making major decisions. In looking back at the total wedding process, Danielle made everything flow with ease and we were able to enjoy our special day without any stress. I am exceptionally grateful that I had her by my side, the wedding day was flawless due to her detailed timeline for everyone. We used Classic Events for planning and "day of services" and I am so glad we decided to have Danielle as our wedding planner! At first, we weren't quite sure whether we wanted to use a wedding planner, but we live in DC, and while I'm originally from the NY area, I had no idea where to start planning a wedding in NYC. Danielle directed us to the best vendors, and negotiated with all of our vendors so that we got the very best prices. She was also very organized, detail-oriented and kept us right on schedule on our wedding day. Even our rabbi commended her for making sure the wedding ceremony proceeded in a timely manner. When I first started planning, I had a vision of what my wedding would look like and Danielle helped make all of my ideas become a reality! We wanted a mix of middle-eastern music, top-40, and latin rock and we got it, we wanted black lace table cloths and we got that too!! I would definitely recommend Classic Events to anyone looking for wedding planning services. You won't be sorry!

Danielle performed day of coordination for our wedding day. She got involved several months before the wedding to get up to speed with our vendors and planning thus far. She was always professional and has a calming nature that helps put a stressed bride at ease. She was very organized in helping us put together a day of timeline and making sure we didn't miss any details. She executed all of the setup on the wedding day flawlessly and was diligent in keeping us on schedule and making sure we got to take all of the photos we wanted with our photographer. Her assistants were also helpful and professional. I wanted to try to enjoy my day without having to worry about anything and Danielle helped me do that. Working with Danielle was truly amazing. Her calm, pleasant and professional demeanor really helped us organize the wedding of our dreams. We had a destination wedding, and Danielle worked arduously to ensure we secured all the vendor agreements, organized the timeline of events, and work with the venue manager- all from several hundred miles away. We especially valued Danielle's presence and help the weekend of our wedding. We are truly grateful for her on-site availability to assist with the ceremony rehearsal, the welcome reception and all the final coordination for the big day. She took burden off our plates and eased our minds by attending to all the little details that typically come with wedding stress. Hiring Danielle was the best choice we made during the wedding process - she is an absolute delight! Not only was she professional, knowledgeable, and amazingly organized, but she also formed a wonderful relationship with myself, my husband, and our entire family. Whether I needed advice on flowers and cake, etiquette tips on invitations, or someone to just calm my nerves when things became overwhelming; Danielle was there for me.
And THEN, our wedding managed to fall on the weekend Hurricane Irene. It was definitely not a "glitch" we had anticipated, and after our church canceled the day before, I really didn't know if our wedding would go forward. With Danielle however, there was no need to worry. In the same breath she broke the news about the church, she informed us that she'd already booked a new location and had our Reverend agree to officiate (despite a 1 1/2 hour drive in terrible weather). Danielle spent an entire day coordinating a new schedule with our vendors and our ceremony/reception location, so we would still have our special day in the face of subway shut downs and mandatory evacuations. Through it all, she was smiling, and happy, and made me feel completely confident that all was well.
At the end, we had a wedding that was even more beautiful and perfect than we could have imagined. Danielle turned what could have been a nightmare into an absolute dream!! If you need a wedding consultant - she is the right choice to make... no matter what, she'll come through for you, and at the end, you won't want to say goodbye.

I used Classic Events for my wedding this summer and used the "Day-of" service but got so much more than I had hoped for! Danielle was so knowledgeable, supportive and helpful throughout the entire process and knows so much about how to plan an amazing NYC wedding! She was extremely professional and well organized, responsive to emails and accommodating to setting up meetings while considering everyone's busy schedules. She had great ideas for finding everything from flip flops, head pieces to decorations and every type of vendor at great prices.
She coordinated more than 6 vendors for us with precision and expertise, couldn't have done it without her. She helped make our wedding day the beautiful and memorable day it was by ironing out all the little glitches along the way.
Best of all she was an extremely well organized, calm and in control on my wedding day and kept everything moving along very smoothly so that no one in the bridal party needed to even think about the flow of the evening. Her supportive presence helped keep me relaxed and focused on having a great time at my wedding!

Danielle at Classic Events helped us to create the PERFECT wedding! From scoping out venues, photographers, and DJ's, to putting on the finishing touches with last-minute parasols and fans, Danielle was on top of it all. What should have been day-of craziness went so smoothly, there wasn't one hitch or problem and I was completely confident that everything was under Danielle's detail-oriented control. Danielle was the epitome of professionalism and she managed everything with a welcome calm--especially considering how frantic wedding planning can be. She also was excellent at being a mother-of-the-bride wrangler when necessary. All of our guests told us it was literally "the BEST" wedding they've ever been to and I don't doubt it!
