My husband and I were so happy to have found Pastor Bill for our wedding ceremony. We were looking for someone who we felt truly cared about us and the celebration of marriage. After meeting with Pastor Bill we knew he was going to marry us. He made the whole process so seamless and stress free. We felt that our ceremony was custom to us and who we are while also being enjoyable and entertaining to our guests. We had so many guests at our wedding tell us it was the best ceremony they have ever been to and how almost everyone in the audience was tearing during the ceremony. I was the wedding planner for my son and his fiancee. Their wedding was July 2021. One of my challenges was to find an officiant that all immediate families of different faiths were comfortable with. The wedding venue made some suggestions but they were not the best fit. I came across Pastor Bill on The Knot. He met with the wedding couple and completely put them at ease with his faith and versatility. He really took the time to get to know them on a personal level. The ceremony was 100% "theirs" but also it was important to them to include aspects of faith respectful to their families and to them personally. Pastor Bill was able to do this perfectly, and we all appreciated that he added his own words of wisdom during the ceremony. Pastor Britton was amazing at our wedding on October 27th. My husband is Christian and I am Jewish, and Pastor Britton was delighted that I asked him to co-officiate my wedding with a rabbi. I live in Connecticut, but was having my wedding in Long Island, so my availability was very limited. He was very good at communicating with my husband and I on the phone and over emails. He even met us at a diner with the rabbi when I came down to Long Island. Both he and the rabbi were very understanding of the others faith and were very professional and worked well together to make out dream wedding ceremony come true. My husband and I were able to fully personalize our wedding ceremony outline, but were given suggestions by Pastor Bill when asked. I would highly recommend Pastor Bill Britton! We are so happy we found Pastor Bill! He made it incredibly easy to tailor our ceremony and make it unique. With many options/suggestions to choose from, we were able to create a ceremony that was the perfect balance of spiritual, traditional, modern, and just plain ol' romantic. I've never heard of the rose ceremony or blessing of the hands before him, and they were everyone's favorite parts. Two months later we're still being told how beautiful and touching our ceremony was. On top of that, Pastor Bill himself has a calm presence and a 'conversational' way of speaking while keeping all attention on the couple. Bill, you were absolutely amazing! I can’t say enough great things about how great you were. The ceremony was beautiful.. it was just what I wanted.. short, sweet, and filled with meaning and love. The vows you had for us were on another level...if my husband had to repeat one more sentence he was about to start crying and I mean balling. They were beautifully written and you were just so incredible. Everyone stated how amazing our ceremony was and that’s all due to you. From the very start of our first email exchange I knew you were the right man for the job. You were great to work with and your worksheet just made things so so simple and the options you have to choose from are magnificent! I do sincerely apologize for the mic mishap and how it was cutting in and out but please take comfort in knowing everyone did hear you even when the mic was cutting out. Pastor Bill officiated at our wedding on May 19, 2018 at The Vineyards in Aquebogue. Working with him to create a ceremony that was perfect for us was as seamless as could be. We were able to incorporate aspects of my religion and a special nod to my grandparents all of which Pastor Bill executed amazingly. We received tons of compliments from family and friends about how beautiful the ceremony was and even had people asking for his information for their own weddings or children’s weddings. He knows what it is to make a connection, and after the marriage he offers additional material as a reference to strengthen the marriage. We did not have a religious ceremony, and he was awesome to customize the script. I recommend meeting him face to face, for the full experience! Everything else is email communication

When I started researching officiants, I looked through the various wedding websites and came upon Clergy on Call (some clarification about the name: Pastor Bill is the only minister). Pastor Bill had great reviews, so I reached out to him to get some more information. He was friendly and responsive from the get-go which was very important to me considering our timeline. He sent us detailed ceremony worksheets and shortly after, we had a call to discuss the potential of having him perform our ceremony. He was friendly, funny, and professional. We then made our ceremony selections, gave a deposit, signed our contract and were married soon after. The day of, he showed up early and waited in his car so that we could finish taking pictures beforehand which I felt was very thoughtful. We have no regrets about choosing him and would do it again if given the chance.

We had a bit of an issue with our current officiant and were unhappy with our decision. Pastor Bill stepped in and not only did he come to the rescue, but he put us at ease and made the whole process very comfortable and easy (which is extremely helpful when you have so many other things going on!). If you are looking for an officiant who will work with you to make your wedding the way you want it to be, he is your guy. He is very accommodating! We are so happy to have found him and have him share in our special day- which was a dream! Thank you Pastor Bill!

Pastor Bill officiated our wedding on 09/04/2016 and from the moment we met him we knew we wanted him to officiate our wedding. He was very professional, witty and punctual, but most importantly he made us feel very comfortable. Before our initial meeting he e-mailed us a very detailed ceremony worksheet which outlined all the ceremony details and his suggestions, it was our ceremony wish list! It made the process so easy and allowed us to ask him any questions about it when we met. On the day of our wedding our ceremony was absolutely perfect and it went exactly as planned, Pastor Bill added his personal touches which we got so many amazing compliments on. Pastor Bill is the man!!! My husband Anthony and I planned a small ceremony with only our closest family members and hoped for it to be "short and sweet". I would not recommend this officiant at all. I was not pleased with how unprepared he was. He came to the venue and it appeared he did not go over the ceremony readings. During the ceremony he called me by a completely wrong name multiple times and then he started saying things that we specifically said we did not want to be said. I was expecting much better considering his fee was pretty steep. Also I wasn't too crazy thay he waits last minute to ask if his wife can come to cocktail hour....I don't really see that as being professional or appropriate to ask. Overall, I was very dissatisfied and will not be recommending this officiant.

Pastor bill was great! He was very prepared an professional. My tradition Italian family was not happy we did not have a church ceremony but with his help my Nonna said "it felt like a church". We were very happy

In one word, fantastic!! We didn't have any recommendations so we just google searched officiants and came across Pastor Bill. We were totally confident after receiving a very detailed email from him that includes every option for your ceremony you could think of. Plus tons of things you don't think of! We wanted something very untraditional but he can do it all. The ceremony was great. It kept everyone's full attention, was emotional and made them laugh at the same time. He was very accommodating. We got married in Long Island City, he was there early, was professional and just a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend a Pastor Bill for your ceremony.

No complaints here!! Pastor Bill was very nice and also very responsive. We were able to meet via Skype, which made things so much easier. His ceremony worksheet was long but easy to use. He was right on time for the ceremony and everything went very smoothly. He was also very quick with submitting the wedding information to the state, We got our wedding certificate very quickly. We had a wonderful experience with Pastor Bill from the planning process to the wedding day, and everything in between. Planning our ceremony was so easy, and we were able to choose every aspect so that our ceremony fit us as a couple! Pastor Bill provided the perfect amount of assistance. He was so helpful, but never overbearing and never pushed any of his beliefs into our ceremony like some other officiants may try to do. We are so happy that we chose Pastor Bill.

On 12,21,12... The day of our wedding we faced an unexpected issue, the street where our venue is located (Lombardi's on the Bay, Patchogue, NY) was totally flooded. I was just wondering why the day of my wedding... When all of a sudden I saw Pastor Bill, my sisters got out of the car and started talking to him, I just couldn't do anything, I was shocked, then he approached the car where I was and he started talking to me trying to calm me down, very supportive saying that no matter what I was getting married that day, that I was going to have a story to tell in the future about the day of my wedding, John, today my husband, arrived with my Parents and he was talking to him, saying not to worry that the ceremony was going to happen fortunately Pastor Bill was able to wait until everybody was ready for the Ceremony, just the way Pastor Bill officiated the ceremony was incredibly Beautiful! On August 19, 2012, we got married on the beach. I did not know who to choose as an officiant so I started researching online for reviews and recommendations. I then called a few officiants. The only one I connected with was Pastor Bill on the phone. I was waiting for an officiant to make me feel comfortable as I spoke with them on the telephone. He was warm, kind and personable over the phone and when I met him in person, he was exactly that. For me, an officiant is the most important part of your wedding, he/she is the one who marrys you. Pastor Bill felt like an old friend and I only met him for 15 minutes the day of my wedding. I definitely recommend him on your special day.

In a stressful emergency, Pastor Bill came to my rescue and for that, I will be forever grateful! One of my close childhood friends who is a pastor was planning to officiate but his wife gave birth and had complications which prevented him from traveling to NY from CA. He responded immediately and we set up a skype session with my fiance a couple of days later because our schedule didn't allow us to see him in person.
