Club 19 at Pembroke Lakes Country Club

Sharing my wedding nightmare experience at Club 19 I recently held my wedding at Club 19 and, unfortunately, it was a deeply disappointing experience, largely due to mismanagement by Susan, the venue manager. Initially, we scheduled our ceremony for 6 pm, but four months before the wedding, we decided to start at 7:30 pm to catch the sunset. Susan assured us this change was fine, as long as we ended by midnight, per the city ordinance. Her only concern was if we start late, we won't be able to utilize the hours that we booked because we need to end the party at 12mn. On the day of the wedding, however, Susan told our guests that the party needed to end at 11:30 pm, and extending until midnight would incur extra charges. This was highly inappropriate and should have been addressed with us directly. After a stressful conversation, she reluctantly agreed to our original plan, making it seem as if we were at fault. Additionally, the setup timing was mismanaged. We were initially told setup could begin at 9 am, but just days before the event, Susan informed us that we needed to choose between an indoor or outdoor ceremony because the weather's not been that great, with the setup starting at 4:30 pm. On the day, the outdoor setup didn't begin until after 5-ish pm, causing our decorator to rush and resulting in a chaotic scene, including golfers present and swinging during our ceremony despite assurances that the venue would be closed for our event. We were worried of the casualties it could cause. Especially my guests. So we couldn't really concentrate on the wedding. Also, the time delay meant we missed essential daylight and drone shots, and our photographers had to take nighttime photos during dinner, compromising both the quality of our photos and our time with guests. We didn't have daylight shots. We also didn't have pictures with the guests. Such a nightmare. These significant disruptions and miscommunications resulted in us missing key moments and photo opportunities, leaving us stressed and disappointed. While the food quality was good, the overall management of our event was subpar. We had high expectations for our wedding at Club 19, and these were not met. I hope future couples do not have to endure the same stress and disappointment on their special day. I emailed Susan after the wedding, and all she did was apologize. Be careful on booking at Club19.

I highly recommend Club 19 at Pembroke Lakes Country Club. The reception hall is roomy and full of large windows that overlook the golf course and lake. It was beautiful with so much color and light streaming in. The food was great and all drinks were constantly replenished. We had a cocktail time on back porch which was beautifully done. The staff was nice and Banquet manager was friendly and knew her stuff. Susan helped us with all our questions and needs. We had a fantastic and flawless time. I did not have to think about a thing and could enjoy the guests as all was beautifully executed.

This place was everything i wanted i looked for an intimate setting everywhere and it seems that either it was an arm and leg or you were just another number however at Pembroke Lakes Racquet Club everyone knew me by name i had orginally planned for 80 person's but ended up having 100 i planned my wedding literally in 4 months o_O yes i know it was so beautiful and perfect that my family and friends don't believe me. My family is from the island so you know the food had to be perfect their selections were more American however they were able to have a cook from Haiti or Jamaica to cook the food and it was awesome. I literally had NO complains. Racquel, she works Banquet department she will make things happend even if it's at the last minute whatever your wishes are she 9x out of 10 will make it happend. She works there along with the Coordinator Martin he is awesome an intriguing individual and be careful he is good on enhancing your vision. By the way the correct address that this location is 10500 Taft st Pembroke Pines Fl, 33319. I promise you will not regret visiting this place. My wedding was Feb 22,14 and it was amazing.

Great golf course and lakes for pictures. Outside cocktail hour wonderful room inside surrounded by windows. Very clean and well maintained.
