Courtyard by Marriott Hamilton

Courtyard Marriott was so workable and flexible with meeting times and different requests we had. Their staff was friendly and on top of everything. Throughout the evening, they checked in with us to ensure our needs were met and we were satisfied with the service. I would strongly recommend this venue!

My letter to the GM Hi Mr. Stidham, I recently stayed at your hotel Friday, 4/6 for a wedding that took part in your event space. I’d like to share my experience with you, as a guest, an event planner and a matron of honor to the bride’s who wedding was being held there. We were able to setup the day prior to the event, as there were no other events going on. During that time, in review of the room, I noticed the linens were poorly put on, set with place settings, so I had to remove all place settings, fix the linens and then replace the place settings. We had to double check all the place settings. - Silverware - salad forks placed at tables instead of the proper dinner fork. We did bring that to the banquet manager’s attention and she corrected the day of the wedding. I also noticed the salt and peppershakers were not full at each table, including the head table, which looked lazy. No one came to check and see if there was anything that we needed from the hotel or ask if everything was going okay. We did approach sales one point and explained our glass blocks dropped and were broken and if we could borrow a few from the banquet stock. For some reason this became a huge issue after we explained that someone grabbed us one the night before. It took some convincing after she said that no one should have let us borrow one the night before. The kitchen staff was very rude on Friday 4/6/18 (other than Marcus). We had 24 hurricane glasses that we needed to fill with water, on the Friday of the event. We were given two water pitchers expected to carry them back and forth from the banquet hall. We had an issue of our items at the end of the night, being packaged and broken, like our hurricane glasses. The staff was in such a hurry to put stuff away that upon boxing up the hurricane glasses one was dropped in the box and the bottom was shattered. We know for a fact that it shattered because we overheard the staff talking about it and the fact that it needed to be thrown away. They started clean up around 11:30pm still 45 minutes left of the reception- we did give them the okay to blow out high top table candles to let them cool, but before you knew it, the whole place was having candles blown out and boxed up. Guests still had items such as bagged candy favors and popcorn bags still on the table. The staff cleared the table and threw it in a random box. There were guests that were not very happy they even brought this to our attention as well as the brides the following day at brunch. We did give the banquet team a heads up that we’d do a pop up brunch that following Saturday morning, and if they’d pass along the information, that’d be helpful to their food and beverage team the next morning. I was blown off with rolled eyes, ‘hum, we can’t do that’ and backs turned. I wasn’t asking anything more off the banquet staff, but to pass along the information. Audrey the next morning in the breakfast area was amazing. She brought me to tears with how helpful she was. Her, the cook, and chef came in to check on us, make sure everyone was happy, wish the bride, and groom the best of wishes. Lastly, after our departure on 4/7/18, we called back about 2 hours later realizing we left our cellphone charger. We left a voicemail for housekeeping and no one ever called us back. This was an awful experience and truly disappointing for all guests involved. ______ And his response was no, didn't happen, not really, sorry.

From beginning to end it our event was amazing! The staff took care of everything and as the mother of the bride all I had to do was watch my daughter and her husband enjoy their special day. I can't put into words how wonderful the Mariott treated us. I would and have recomend this venue to everyone.

The Courtyard was so great to work with. Every question and request was handled with such professionalism, even in my bridezilla moments! Stephanie, Matt and Mandy were wonderful and I could not have been happier!

our night was perfect! or guests had a great time and everyone at the hotel was so nice. the food was outstanding for our reception - the guests raved about how good the chicken was. and the fire pit outside by the river was awesome!

Everything went very well. The hotel looks so much better than the old Hamiltonian did. They allowed us to send off Chinese lanterns over the river which was great. The banquet staff was something else and was on top of things the entire night. One of the best things was the "rewarding events" Marriott points we earned. My husband and I are doing a weekend getaway next month in Indy with the points we earned!! I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you!!!!!

I can't say enough about the job everyone at the Courtyard Hamilton did. I had not been to Hamilton for some time but my mom had seen the hotel and said we should check it out. We always felt that we were a priority We met Chef Jamie at a private tasting to go over our menu and he was very laid back and great. Our planner Stephanie was spot on with every detail as was everyone we encountered, from the sales department handling our guest rooms to the banquet servers and Clark on the front desk who checked us in. All in all, it was the perfect venue for us to begin our lives together as husband and wife. Thanks Courtyard!

The service and food was excellent! Our guests that had never been to Hamilton were very satisfied and impressed with the changes in the city. The Courtyard was a great host. The lights in the ballroom are magicial. The terrace along the river was wonderful, however it did rain towards the end of the night which made us happy we had the indoor ballroom to stay in!!!

It was a wonderful experience. All of our guests raved about the beauty of the hotel and reception hall and thought the food was top notch. They tried really hard to make it a great experience for us.

It was truly the best day of our lives and turned out beautifully. Stephanie and the entire staff spent so much time on our wedding and made us feel so special. We definitely refer everyone we know to the Courtyard Hamilton!

In talking to everyone that was a guest, they all seemed to have a good time and we have heard nothing but wonderful compliments about the property, the food... Seriously, all positive feedback for sure. The staff at the Courtyard was wonderful to work with. I think that is a tribute to upper management who leads by example rather than force.

My immediate feedback is that the event was a huge success! Great crowd – food was amazing and the presentation couldn’t have been any better! Stephanie was great to work with and everyone working at the facility was so great to us.

Everything went very well with the reception and the staff did wonderfully in serving guests and also in dealing with my last minute requests (no surprise from a Marriott property!). Would recommend to anyone!

I had my beautiful wedding at the Courtyard Marriott in Hamilton this past summer on June 21st. The setting and atmosphere of the ceremony was amazing but the reception and level of service was absolutely spectacular. You could really see that the Banquet Event manager as well as the serving and set up staff put a great deal of time and effort into making sure that everything was perfect for our special day. It was a great evening and it's a relief knowing that if and when I'm in need of a location for another special occasion I have a place to go that genuinely cares about their guests and makes for a great event for them. I highly recommend Courtyard by Marriott Hamilton as my top pick for venues in this area! Thanks so much for making it such an enjoyable and memorable celebration for us and all of our family and friends!

I loved my wedding at the Courtyard by Marriott in Hamilton. Not only is the ballroom gorgeous but the service was above and beyond what I ever imagined. The location right on the river was amazing and made for some beautiful photos. The food was delicious and the way the menu and package is structured made planning my wedding so easy. They do everything so I wasn't fussing around with a ton of different vendors. Working with the sales team and banquet staff was such a pleasure and everyone was very gracious. I would highly recommend this venue to any friend of mine.

Our son was married in Hamilton, Ohio. We were looking for a unique and special venue and chef for our rehearsal dinner and for a farewell breakfast on the day following the wedding. We were so pleased with the staff and the venue. The chef went out of his way to accommodate our special requests. We were wanting our family's recipe for Corn Casserole, we brought our own ceramic bowls and he fixed it perfectly. We asked for Beef Brisket, although it was not on the menu and it was DELICIOUS! We wanted to bring our own homemade peach pies and they accommodated us and provided other desserts as well! Everything was HOT, tasty and they far exceeded what we expected from a corporate type hotel chain. Mandy was very helpful with accommodating additional rooms that we hadn't anticipated and the farewell breakfast was another added touch that was well worth it. I would highly recommend this location and the staff that was always looking to serve and please our sometimes querky requests! We are so glad the other thoughts we had did not work out, because initially this was our second choice and it all turned out perfect!

My best friend had her ceremony and reception at the Marriott. The chandeliers in the ballroom were like none I have seen before! The outdoor terrace really was great for photos and the view at night was awesome! The hotel staff was amazing, very attentive and always making sure all the little details were taken care of. The Marriott is a hidden gem in Hamilton!

Everything went very well. I had so many people tell me how nice the hotel looks after the upgrade. They even let us send off Chinese lanterns. Everything was very nice and the entire staff is “something else”. They were on top of things the entire night. Great people! We were also able to earn Marriott Rewards points for the entire reception and are planning to use those to help celebrate our first anniversary next year in Vegas!

Let me start by saying.. WOW! We could not have asked for a more beautiful venue to celebrate our daughters special day!!! The event planner at the Courtyard by Marriott Hamilton is spectacular! She lets no detail go unnoticed! She and the entire staff could not be more friendly or provide better service! We had our first daughters reception here a few years ago and knew we would be back for our youngest daughters celebration. Not only is the ballroom gorgeous, the outdoor setting overlooking the river on the terrace is lovely at night. The beautiful brick patio provided a lovely fire accompanied by candle lit cocktail tables. It was a wonderful setting for our guest to cool off from the party inside and still continue to socialize with one another. Last but not least, not only was the service wonderful but the meal itself was delicious! We offered 4 sit down plated entree options. When we had our tasting each one was as delicious as the next :) Im not sure how they did it, but serving 250-275 guests hot, beautifully plated dinners was no easy task and they made it seem smooth and seamless. I could not be happier with our experience!! Thank you again to Stephanie and the entire Marriott Staff!

The evening was spectacular. The service was outstanding and the food was very good. All our friends have complimented you and us on a great evening. Everyone noticed the excellent service that was provided by Shawn and Stephanie . I believe a few of my friends stopped and told them it was a nice evening. I am sure if anyone has weddings coming up, they will give them a call.

We attended a bridal show at this location. From our first meeting with Stephanie Clark (event coordinator) to the last, she was professional, organized and pleasant to work with as we planned our wedding reception. She followed through on all her commitments in a timely manner. She also recommended a florist for us when the one we wanted to use would not be available. Stephanie tailored one of Marriott's meal plans to our fit as we did not want to include alcohol. Our bridal party enjoyed their lunch at the Marriott and we have heard nothing but good reviews on our reception dinner! For my groom and me, our experiences at the Hamilton Courtyard Marriott were wonderful!! We would pick them all over again!!

For being born and raised in Hamilton, I was 100% against having my wedding/reception in Hamilton, but hindsight, it was just me being a brat! The Hamilton Marriott has such a fantastic crew; everyone we came in contact with was fantastic, Stephanie, Matt, Tiffany, Monica even the maintenance man gets two big thumbs up! Their ability to handle requests and show sincerity to every aspect of the reception was remarkable. The crew truly seems to enjoy their careers and we as customers can really feel that and appreciate their passion. And KUDOS!!!! to Chef Jamie, the food (top round beef and Milanese Chicken) was outstanding! Probably better then what we tried at the tasting. As I see guests from the reception they are still raving about the food and how wonderful it was, I feel like that speaks volumes about a venue when they have food that guests are still talking about. The atmosphere was fantastic for the night and the party was in full action, the best part of the night was being able to go upstairs to room after a very long day. Having your wedding at a hotel is nice factor and don't have to worry about transportation back to a hotel afterwards. Best of LUCK!

I worked with Stephanie at the Marriott and she was wonderful. They were very helpful and give alot for the price compared to the other places we looked at. We were able to sit back and enjoy the day when we got married because we knew they would take care of everything for us! i would suggest checking this place out!
