Cutting Edge Catering was awesome from the beginning! Chad was so helpful and professional- super easy to work with. The day-of was perfect, everyone enjoyed the food and staff was very attentive and nice to everyone. The S'mores Station was a huge hit! I really recommend them for any event!

From beginning to end, Cutting Edge Catering did a great job with my wedding. We held the reception at the Horticultural Center and having a vendor that managed the hall and catering took a lot of the organizational stress off my plate. The food was very good, and the bartender was great. We only had one, as our head count came in just under the requirement for two bartenders but he kept the line for drinks short and I heard only good things about him!

Chad was awesome! He was very quick in responding and very accommodating to all of my requests! Everyone complimented how great the food was as well as the service!

Michelle was very accommodating an easy to talk to. We had nothing but compliments on the apps and dinner entrees. Unfortunately, I heard that some of the wait staff were rude to guests (even my parents).... Again, food was delicious though!

The food from here was all really delicious. We were also able to go through the caterer to get things like chairs, balloons, linens, etc. Anything you could possibly need, they will find it for you.

We had a wonderful reception at George's 174 in Joliet. Cutting Edge provided fantastic food that our guests raved about! We ended up a few people below the minimum so we added appetizers, which was the best idea ever. The mini crab cakes were especially good! Thank you Cutting Edge!

I cannot say enough about my experience working with Chad at Cutting Edge. The food was superior and his staff did an incredible job on my daughters wedding day. Highly recommend them!

My whole experience with Cutting Edge was positive. They let me come in as many times as I needed to before finalizing the menu. I was given a wide variety of menu options. I worked with Chad mostly and he was wonderful in helping me keep everything in order. Their prices are fair, they give you detailed invoices so you aren't surprised with any hidden charges, and are open to customizing packages for you. They don't force you into picking a preset package. Pretty much every option can be picked by you. They cover everything including the cake and bar service. Their staff was wonderful the day of. They arrived on time, were very courteous, dressed nice, and hard working. The bartenders were quick and kept my guests' drinks filled all night. This caterer is very customer-oriented. When I came in with my final count, Chad ran the numbers and realized it would bring the total price down. At that point I had already paid in full, and without hesitation he advised they would be sending me a check for the difference. There was no pressure to add in any more items so that they could keep that extra money. For that reason alone, I would use them again. I appreciated their integrity. It didn't hurt that their service was excellent and so many of guests complimented that it was the best wedding food they had enjoyed at a wedding reception!

We used this CEC for my sister's wedding and decided to use them for my own wedding a year later. Chad was very accommodating and listened to all of my concerns. The food was AWESOME and it was a great price.

My husband and I wanted a pig roast and they were the only one of our four options with that. The food was delicious and we had a great time tasting it all at their location. My only complaint with them was I never saw the food after the wedding, it all got thrown away! They gave us a baker which they work with which was wonderful in downtown plainfield, il Cathy's Sweet Creations. We also used them as a bar service.

Cutting Edge Catering really did a phenomenal job for our wedding. With the initial tasting they were more than accommodating, allowing us to schedule a 9:30 AM appointment. I recommend going hungry to the tasting, as we were able to try 2 entrees, 4 horsdouvres, 3 sides, and a salad. All the options were fantastic. We selected a choice of Chicken Picata, Eggplant Parmesan, and Filet Medallions. All three were excellent. We hosted our wedding at the Rialto Theatre, which only has a staging kitchen, so all food had to be cooked ahead of time and then just staged on-site. Cutting edge assured us that our food would be hot, and sure enough the food was perfect when they served it at the reception. We had many compliments that the food was amazing, so I would highly recommend using Cutting Edge for your catering needs!

The food was great, the staff was great. Zero complaints on my end. We met with Chad about 6 months before the wedding and let him know what ideas we had and then set up a tasting 3 months prior to the big day. The food is great! They have so many options and different packages that I can't even begin to explain. You could do anything from casual to super fancy, for lack of better words. They set up the decorations for us at the venue, they took care of all the table numbers, the table covers, everything. We had an open bar at the wedding and the bartenders were great as well. They were professional and yet very fun-- exactly what you'd want for your guests!! I would definitely have them cater another event!!

We did the pig roast for our wedding, a little more casual than the typical plated dinner, but worth it! When guests walked up for the ceremony they could smell the roast and knew it was going to be great! The food was very fresh and service staff was friendly and polite. Only downside is you have to use them if you are doing a "sweet table" otherwise they will not help set up and "stock" your sweet table. This was very unfortunate for me becasue I actually received all the desserts/sweets for my wedding AS A GIFT from a bakery I used to work at. But overall great.

Cutting Edge catered my fall 2011 wedding. I was thrilled with them. They were so helpful, from the moment I first called through the wedding itself. There's no way my wedding would have been as wonderful as it was without them. The food was great and my guests complimented it too. You can't go wrong with Cutting Edge.

Chad is really easy to work with and very accommodating. The food at our wedding was fantastic! Our friends and family continue to rave about the food. I would highly recommend Cutting Edge, especially if you are having your wedding at CD & ME. Their prices are very reasonable.

I loved working with this catering company. They had reasonable prices, awesome food (with a tasting beforehand) and were very helpful and understanding as our needs and wants changed throughout the planning process. Chad took great care of us in particular. They were able to make a custom desert for us (warm cookies a'la mode) and did a test run ahead of time to ensure that it would all turn out well. They also accommodated for a guest with dietary issues for us. We would definitely recommend them!
