CVU DJ's will work with you to create an original playlist full of all your own selected favorite tunes, so you know you'll love every song that comes on. We provide DJ services, MC services and full audio set-ups (multiple audio set ups are available upon request). We know how to read a crowd, and we will use your music to create perfect mixes and transitions for unforgettable moments. Christopher is a self taught music producer, vinyl & digital DJ. His experience is not limited to just DJ'ing weddings. He has held many DJ residences across southern California and Oregon. Early in his career you may have seen him playing at Burning Man or exclusive beach parties in St. Barth’s. In the past couple of years his most notable shows have been closing for TLC at Palm Springs Pride and headlining the Discovery Project stage at EDC Las Vegas. He is a master DJ who has spent years perfecting his skills and techniques, in this field experience does make a difference.

Owner
Genevieve is a professional host & emcee. She has been hosting events for over 10 years and currently is the morning meteorologist at NBC 16 in Eugene, OR. She is also a DJ and loves to bring fun and energy to every event she works & attends. Her love of all different types of music makes her an expert in creating amazing DJ sets & making your event truly memorable.

We had a very non-traditional wedding with a last-minute booking, but Chris absolutely crushed it as our DJ! He went above and beyond our expectations and was such a joy to work with. My guests couldn't stop raving about his smooth transitions and creative mixes, seamlessly moving from one song to the next. He hit every cue perfectly and kept the energy up all night. Chris was unbelievably professional and just a pleasure to have around. I honestly can’t praise him enough—my legs are still sore from dancing so much! Highly recommend him for any event where you want a great time

Chris and Genevieve were wonderful!! Great communication from planning to the wedding day. They made sure to have all the correct songs for the ceremony and that we liked the playlists for cocktail hour and the dancing! I’m so glad we booked with them!!

Chris and Genevieve are awesome! We enjoyed every step with them from our first phone call to the day-of. They are easy to talk to and complement each other very well! We got so many compliments after our wedding for their energy, organization, and of course great music selection!

Chris with CVU was excellent! He came early to set up before our wedding began and got straight to work with no questions or issues. Every song and every announcement was right on queue. From the ceremony to the grand entrance, father daughter dance, mother son dance, (Etc) everything went according to our timeline perfectly. This dj worked with our wedding coordinator to make our night perfect. Many guests gave compliments to Chris. Great communication weeks before the wedding, great set up, and very kind. I’m surprised CVU Event DJs was one of the more affordable options. Worth every penny.

The Conversations leading up to the wedding were always insightful and it felt like we were being heard. Our request for the vibe of the wedding and what we specifically wanted to happen was done. Day of, He showed up early, managed the last minute details with the venue quickly and professionally, and overall the night was seamless. If I had to do this all over again I would👍🏻

Absolutely thrilled that we had Chris and Genevieve at our wedding ceremony and reception in Yosemite! They were exceptional from start to finish. It was so easy and efficient working with Chris during the planning process. Extremely responsive and had the best suggestions and solutions regarding logistics. Genevieve’s energy as emcee was unmatched and spectacular! Her engaging and personable style made the entire event run smoothly and effortlessly! Chris did an amazing job at our wedding. He handled everything from ceremony music, microphones, dinner announcements, toasts, cake cutting, and reception dances. He brings modern equipment that is equipped to handle even the biggest weddings. He was very professional and able to make adjustments on the fly with ease. Chris & Genevieve were amazing and I would hire them again in a heartbeat. They arrived early and had no problem adjusting to our backyard wedding. So much goes into planning the perfect day, but no matter how much planning you do *something* always goes wrong. That's when it pays to have someone in your corner. Chris and Genevieve did a fantastic job of rolling with the punches and making sure our wedding went just about as smooth as possible! From just how active and attentive they were leading up to the big day to their ability to improvise changes when needed, they did an excellent job of making our special day *their* special day. They clearly love what they do and care about making the entire experience the best it can be!

Our wedding was at my husband’s parents estate, it was such a beautiful day and the DJ’s added to the fun. Our first dance was my favorite moment of the night and the party was perfect, my husband loves country and I love EDM and Chris blended the two harmoniously.

My wife and I hired Genevieve and Chris to DJ/Emcee our wedding - they were such a big part of making the evening magical and our wedding so memorable! We had our wedding in Jacksonville, OR so they drove down from Eugene that day with their setup and were ready to go shortly after arriving - simply amazing. They are the best combination of classy yet fun, and have the best energy to keep the celebration moving. So many of our guests commented on the music and how much it contributed to the wonderful time they had at our wedding. In addition to the music, they also managed the sound during the ceremony so that everyone could hear and it was perfect. Music at our wedding was very important to us and we're so grateful we found Chris and Genevieve for our big day. Our venue was also very happy with their professionalism and said they would have them back anytime.

This DJ team is amazing! They were so easy to work with, incredibly professional and self sufficient, and rocked the party! They really knew how bring smiles through out the entire celebration. Their set-up and break-down was so easy and they were easy to communicate with leading up to the party. I highly recommend anyone book them for any event that needs a dJ.

CVU Event DJ's vastly exceeded our expectations as wedding DJs. We hired them to do a wedding with a fusion of Bollywood and American music, which was not the easiest task. Not only did they manage to blend the music seamlessly, but Genevieve also taught our wedding guests to do some Bollywood choreography for the songs. They got everyone up and dancing and having a great time. I cannot recommend this DJ pair more.

Not only did Chris and Genevieve make our wedding reception perfect for us they went above and beyond! My husband and I have pretty eclectic taste in music and they played all our hits even ones we had forgotten about. We felt heard and seen which made it all the more special.
