We are so happy with our choice. The museum is beautiful and the price was right for us. Marvin made sure things were taken care of and couldn't be any happier. Thank you for everything!!
This place is sooo beautiful and I don’t understand why no one uploads some pictures.
I just wanted to thank Jasmina! She was my event coordinator and made this event special.
My friend recommended this place and I had no clue that there is a Czech Museum in the center of Houston. Her sister had her wedding there, and when I saw her wedding pictures, I sincerely thought that they celebrated in Europe.
This place is incredibly beautiful and I am happy that the money supports a good cause and goes towards their art collection. Thank you so much!
The price and the overall beauty of the place is pretty good. The people are a little difficult to work with. My personal experience was ok, but my in-laws claimed to have a lot of problems with them. They did screw us on the bar situation by having 3 year old beer in the cooler that they tried to serve to guest. The bartender was told to run the tab up to a certain amount and switch to cash bar but instead went over by $1000. I would probably go somewhere else in hind sight.
I had my wedding here in 2010 and I think its a hidden gem for Houston wedding receptions. Colleen Walsh was the coordinator in charge and she did a great job. The price is right. They are TABC licensed and their vast beer selection includes specialty Czech beers. You can comfortably fit 200 people in the upstairs ballroom with a large dance floor. The entire staff is respectfully and willing to help. They have a preferred vendor list but will let you hire others. The inside is beautiful. The upstairs contains art work and windows and the downstairs has numerous museum items that guests can peruse.
