Not only was my hair & makeup team so talented they were also so kind and accommodating!!! Literally my make up was PERFECT and my hair was bohemian and had vines braided throughout. Both ladies arrived before the start time and had a verity of products and ideas! I’m so thankful for working with such a dedicated team, who made my wedding day so much more memorable - especially since these pictures will last a lifetime!! Everyone loved their techniques and they were both so nice and professional! I’d HIGHLY recommend them to anyone wanting to work with a reliable team & have a classic “forever” experience!

JJ is a hair and make up rock-star and if you want to be 100% confident you’ll look amazing, she’s your gal! Super easy to work with, exceptionally talented, and she has great vision. My whole bridal party loved their hair and make up and I’ve never felt more gorgeous. Her team is also amazing. We had Skylar do our make up on my actual wedding day while Jennifer focused on hair. I was originally going to wait and have JJ do my make up since she did my trial and I was the bride. After seeing Skylar’s work though, I let her do my make up too and I was beyond pleased. I went to a wedding once where the MOG's makeup and hair was showstopping, so I asked her which stylist/artist she used, which lead me to Dallas Hair and Makeup, so I can officially say JJ's work literally speaks for itself. I am very picky about my makeup application so JJ and her team's attention to detail doesn't go unnoticed. In the past, when I've gotten professional makeup or hair/updos done, I oftentimes would leave feeling as if I could have done it better on my own - then I would have to rush home to fix it! But not with JJ! She took my makeup to a level I can't achieve on my own, which is exactly what I want in a professional makeup artist/hair stylist. Every single bridesmaid loved their look. Not one complaint or disappointment, which NEVER happens in the past weddings I've attended! So thankful for Dallas Hair & Makeup!

J.J is absolutely the best in the business!! Some of the best advice I received regarding choosing a hair & makeup stylist was to find someone who specializes in BRIDAL hair and makeup. It's so different when you need your look to last 8 hours and look good in pictures and video! J.J. nailed it. She is so cool, relaxed, and professional, she made the whole morning so stress-free for me. She even gave my maid of honor a little pep talk when she was feeling self conscious about how her dress fit her. It was so sweet! My makeup lasted so long, I even wore it the next day for our first honeymoon dinner! I highly recommend J.J.!

JJ and her team were amazing! Dallas Hair and Makeup did my hair and makeup for our engagement photos, my bridal photos and my entire wedding party. I had 8 bridesmaids, and 5 others getting hair and makeup done the day of and everyone was so amazed. JJ and her team made myself and all my girls feel so pretty for my wedding. Dallas hair and makeup had done a couple of my friends weddings before mine, and always did such an amazing job. They are less expensive then others I found while researching, and they will come to you! JJ does trials in her salon if you want to practice looks and gives incredible insight for your big day. Dallas hair and makeup can accommodate a small wedding party or a huge wedding party. I have referred them several times since our wedding. I cannot recommend them enough!!!!!!

JJ is very talented, and my hair turned out beautifully for my wedding! I have very thin, fine hair and was nervous that there was no way it would turn out good wearing it down and curled (how I've always wanted it). But JJ worked miracles and made it look perfect! We used some clip in extensions to add a little more body, but they blended well, and my hair still looked natural and not overdone. She did my sister's hair as well, and it turned out great. My only caveat is that JJ is nice but not warm and friendly. If you are looking for a hairstylist to laugh and giggle and soothe you on your wedding day, that is not JJ's personality. She is more get-it-done and get it done well. That being said, I'm really glad I hired her for my wedding hair because she did a fabulous job at a great price (and on-site)!

JJ and her team did a great job on hair and make up. I was happy to meet with her in advance to do a trial run. It make me much more comfortable about both hair and makeup on my wedding day. She was on time and they go through all of us by the time she promised so we could arrive at the venue on time. I received a lot of compliments on my hair and makeup. Overall, I was very impressed and happy to work with her, I'd recommend her services to anyone else for great service and great quality!

Hair and makeup was something that was extremely important to me. I wanted to find someone that really knew what they were doing and I definitely did! JJ and her team did an absolutely awesome job on everyone's hair and make up. We all looked gorgeous! My mom and I were both very concerned about 2 things - makeup smudging due to crying and our hair getting messed up due to the wind. JJ assured us she done this hundreds of times and we would be fine. We were! My makeup lasted all night long and looked perfect as did everyone elses. We stood outside and took pictures and even with the wind blowing pretty hard my hair still looked perfect. I couldn't be happier with my choice.

JJ and her team did an amazing job! We received so many compliments on my wedding day for all the girl's hair and makeup. They were able to do all 6 of my bridesmaids, myself, and my mother's hair/makeup within a timely manner. I am the mother of the groom and was in charge of researching and paying for hair and makeup for the wedding day. The entire bridal party, and both mothers, could not have been more pleased with the quality of service and the friendly, professional demeanor of the staff. They showed up on time, maybe even a little before and immediately went about setting up their work areas in our hotel room. They listened to what each person had to say about their hair and makeup and did all exactly as requested. We had so much fun with this group of girls!!! I have to share a story about how JJ personally went above and beyond for me. My 14 year old daughter was in a terrible accident 2 weeks before my son's wedding. This included a ride in a CareFlight helicopter and a 4 day stay in ICU in a city 2 hours away. She was also to be a bridesmaid in her brother's wedding. I had an appointment scheduled with JJ to do a hair and makeup trial, but due to these circumstances, I had to cancel. Once my daughter was out of the hospital, JJ met with us on her day off to do my hair trial and to see how she could make my daughter's makeup work on the wedding day. It meant the world to me. From beginning to end, my experience with Dallas Hair and Makeup was everything I had hoped for. Beautiful work and totally stress free!! I would highly recommend them for your special day!!!!

JJ was someone I liked from the very beginning. When I found her on the knot, I made an appointment to discuss my wedding plans and book her as fast as possible because I loved the elegance of her work. I drove out to her salon in Dallas where she point blank told me what she could do or what would look best on me out of the selections I had chosen. I love this directness because after years of people in this field making false promises about their ability or what I look like in something, I could not bet my wedding day on someone that wouldn't make me look MY best! Not a standard, what every woman looks ok in kind of hair and make up design, but what I was going to look best in on my big day. From the very beginning she took the stress out of everything. In fact, I made no changes and didn't even do a run through because I wasn't doing bridals and I trusted her work. I showed up on my wedding day with the original photos we had discussed plus some others for my family members that were also being done up and she made everything EXACTLY as I pictured it. She traveled almost three hours with Caroline (make up) to accommodate the wedding. Not only did she show up early so we didn't feel rushed or panicked, but she was kind enough to accommodate my crazy last minute time schedules that I sent her via email all week before the wedding with grace and patience. She gave me exactly what I asked for in an elegant, classic, FULL OF VOLUME updo that was to go under my birdcage veil. After styling the hair, she fitting the veil and place a huge garden rose in my hair and secured it. That hair did not move all evening long and I never felt any pain from inappropriately placed bobby pins. It was amazing!!! My mother and sister are the definition of tomboys with no experience in hair or make up but JJ stepped in again and worked her magic. She made my mother look more beautiful than I had ever seen her and she took my sisters short coif and made a fantastic, edgy faux-hawk that I had asked for. We got compliments all night long!!!! Not only was JJ such a blessing, but Caroline was who joined her to tag team on make up. I can't begin to tell you what wonders Caroline worked. As women, we know that some days are better than others for hair and make up. Some days we just look washed out or splotchy or feel self-conscious even if we don't know why. Well let me tell you that Caroline eliminated all fears of not being up to par on such an important day. Over the last ten years I have received 20-25 professional make up applications for special events and I'm telling you that this was beyond what I ever hoped for it to be. Caroline took her time, listened to what I wanted, and played to our strengths accommodating my wishes. It was truly the best make up I had ever seen. If you want a day with absolutely no stress, complete confidence that your husband will know this is absolutely the most beautiful you have ever looked, and a funny, charming, reliable professional to handle every beauty blunder there is....this is the company for you. I will never use anyone else for hair and make up ever again. I was beyond blown away and so was everyone else.

Surprisingly, I was most nervous about hair and makeup since I am very particular about it. During my trial run and the day of the wedding, JJ was very attentive and also gave great suggestions. I could not be happier with how my hair and make-up turned out on the day of the wedding. She kept the style of my normal make-up and hair approach, but added the extra "wow" factor you want for the day of the wedding. As I see pictures coming in, I get more and more excited about how my hair and makeup looked! My sister and I have both used her for our wedding and both have been so happy with our results!

I used Amy and Karah from Dallas Hair and Makeup for my mother and I's makeup and hair for my brother's wedding. They were right on time, set up quickly and got to work. The girls were so sweet and were very easy to talk to about our wants for our styles. I went with a very 1940's glam look and my mother went for a more modern classy style. They nailed both looks. I have been in many weddings, and used to coordinate weddings as well, and these two ladies were by the far the best I have ever used or seen. I would highly recommend them and will use them again when I am in Dallas.

JJ was very courteous and always had an open ear to my wife's options/opinions for her style. I would suggest JJ for any wedding or special event, because of the professional nature that she exhibits.

JJ form Dallas Hair and Make-up was simply amazing! She did a consultation with me a few days prior in Dallas and then drove to Austin (super early I might add) and did my hair and make-up for my wedding. She did airbrush make-up and it was flawless and stayed perfect the entire day/night. She is just great all around, and also did hair for my bridesmaids. JJ did a wonderful job on my hair and makeup. I had ideas of how I wanted my hair and makeup to look but she exceeded my expectations beyond words! She made me feel so glamorous. So many people complimented how classy my hair updo and flawless my airbrush makeup was. Another thing that I loved was my wedding was on the beach in the middle of June and my hair and makeup lasted all day & night! Before my wedding day, I have never been 100% happy with someone else doing my hair or makeup but she changed that for me. I loved everything about the experience and result. We flew JJ from Dallas Hair and Makeup out to Philadelphia for our wedding to do my hair and make up. She did an amazing job. Unfortunately, this is not going to be a positive review. Micaela and Allison provided hair services to my briday party on the day of my wedding. I was dissatisfied with the quality of service provided. None of the girls in my bridal party liked their hair, and 2 of them ended up taking their hair down prior to the wedding. Their hairstyles were rushed, and for lack of a better word, appeared sloppy. If they were charging $25 per hair do, I would expect the quality provided. However, they charged a significant amount of money, and I expected a higher quality of service. I was uncomfortable and stressed out during the hours they were there as I knew my girls were dissatisified with the service, and I felt directly responsible. Distress is the last feeling I wanted on my special day. I wanteed more of their attention, focus, and energy as this is a once in a lifetime event for me.

I used Micaela to do my hair and makeup for my bridals and the wedding. On top of being an excellent artist, she is fun and personable making it so much fun! All I had to do was show her a picture of what I was thinking and she made it come to life. I love working with her and would recommend her to every bride!

I have had the pleasure of working with JJ and Micaela on two different weddings: my sister's and a best friend's. My hair and make-up on both occassions was amazing. With JJ and Micaela I LOVED everything about it, there wasn't a thing I didn't like and I felt so beautiful. The girls are very professional but also know how to bring a positive and upbeat vibe to the primping process and really play off the energy of the bride and wedding party. They ask questions to ensure that everyone has the perfect look that the bride envisioned for her wedding day. I will 110% being using JJ and Micaela when I get married one day, I couldn't imagine not having them there to make me look beautiful on my special day.
