Definitely check out David L Baker for your reception if you're ballin' on a budget. They were able to fit our budget well within reason and had all the amenities that my, now, wife was looking for. They were great at communicating with us throughout and helped us plan this stressful, but joyous(!) time.
Amber gave us the first walkthrough and Julia helped us in more detail afterwards. Julia did a great job coordinating with our wedding coordinator. IF anything terrible happened during the wedding... I definitely never found out! So good job to both of them I guess!
Logistically, there's plenty of parking, plenty of wiggle room, multiple bathrooms, bar... What more does a reception need? Definitely give them a look!
We feel in love with this venue after seeing it (it is very much in our style) and we throughly enjoyed hosting our vow renewal here- if I could do it again I would! First and foremost their transparency on pricing is great, and if you’re looking for a venue that doesn’t break the bank but is both functional and beautiful, you’re at the right place. Everyone who worked there from the staff to the bar to the venue coordinator were amazing. Julia worked with our many requests and assisted in organizing some vendors, Spencer the bartender killed it and all our guests loved him, and they went above and beyond in allowing us to park our trailer there for the purposes of getting ready/having a spot for a newborn to nap. We were allowed to have our dog in our ceremony, and every request we had was answered promptly. I can’t say enough. Our ceremony and reception wouldn’t have been the same anywhere else. Shout out to David L!
I cannot begin to express how amazing Amber and Julia were throughout my wedding season. Amber was so helpful in booking the venue and once Julia took over, we had the same amount of support and communication. We had originally planned an outside wedding but the rain had us move everything inside. They were so incredibly helpful in making sure that we had everything we needed and even let us access the space the night before to practice and leave a few items (we were lucky there were no events taking place that night)
One thing I will say to future Brides & Grooms: Make sure you have a plan for your servers if you decide to hire them; otherwise you'll spend the night trying to chase them down.
If I had a chance to redo my wedding, I would not change a single thing about our/this venue. Everything was perfect and the reception hall doors gave it a beautiful and elegant touch!
We found this venue about 10 minutes from our complex, toured it (can go anytime, reception room is open) and immediately decided we were getting married there! They had availability on our date. There was a storm that damaged the fence surrounding the ceremony site and they repaired the fence and trellis, as well as power washed the area prior to the event. We had excellent communication with Jeri leading up to the event. They do have you use their bartenders, but they were absolutely amazing and worth every cent! Our guests loved the convenience of an inclusive ceremony/reception site. The only unexpected issue was the ceremony chairs still hadn't been delivered 15 minutes prior to ceremony start time, but it was only a 20ish minute delay and we relaxed in the reception hall until then. Jeri was awesome throughout the event and made sure to rectify the issue! We had an incredible wedding. Thank you guys! - The Waidhofers
Our wedding was beautiful! The staff was nice, efficient, and attentive. Our family and friends had a wonderful time. The venue was perfect for our Rustic Winter like theme. Even afterward clean up was easy for our friends who assisted helping remove our personal gift and decor. We had a couple things go a little left but nothing that spoiled our big day.
My only additional advice would be if you plan to take pictures strategically choose a realistic spot for your shots ahead of time and have all outside vendors call you with time and location of their drops.
I would recommend this location and use them again for sure!
Greta Venue! Great value!
Was wonderful to be able to have the ceremony and reception in the same location. Great outdoor ceremony space and spacious bar and reception area!
Horrible Venue!!! If I could give negative stars I would. I had my wedding here on April 6th, 2018. Booking the venue was great initially. The events manager Chris Castro was super helpful, responded quickly and answered questions. A couple months after we booked he stopped responding and was impossible to get ahold of. Turns out he left the course to work elsewhere and was replaced by Nicole Lemus. Chris had promised my fiancé comped rounds of golf for him and his groomsmen, golf carts to use around the facility the day of for pictures, the option to leave decorations overnight and pick up the next morning among other things. All were deciding factors for us when we booked. Nicole not only refused to make good on any of this, she was completely unorganized the day of the wedding and no idea what to do, what was happening or how a wedding is supposed to run. She was rude to my maid of honor and other guests. She did not request our guest count until a couple days before the event and then told us we were stuck paying for 120 people after I told her we only had 100 because it was "too late to change". She was nowhere to be found frequently during the evening. We were taking pictures on the course adjacent to the ceremony site and we were kicked off by staff because there were people still playing golf a couple holes away. All the lights in the reception room where turned completely on for most the beginning of the reception and during our first dance and not dimmed. She threw away our wedding cake and refused to give my MOH a box or container to take some home for me. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable! We are so disappointed in our choice of venue. This was supposed to be a special day and she made it more stressful and left us feeling so disappointed and upset. We spent about $10K to have our wedding here - and btw a 20% tip was automatically included - and I feel like we were completely ripped off. I know we will probably never get any money back but I hope this review helps others to NOT book this location for a wedding or any other event.
