We met Tia at DC Estates Winery when checking out venues and found out she was included in the package. We had no idea on how to plan a wedding and we both have fast pace careers that limited our time. Tia was the absolute best thing to have ever happened to us. Our first meeting left us amazed as she genuinely wanted to get to know us and find out what’s important to us. From there she kept us on track with goals and timelines, kept the process fun and stress level extremely low. We looked forward to our planning meetings, which always left us heading home smiling and excited for our day. Never in a million years did we think planning a wedding could be so much fun. By the time our day came, EVERYTHING was perfect, absolutely blown away with how it turned out and the key to this was Tia. She expertly put the plan into motion and kept everything on time. Even when a brief rain shower appeared mid ceremony, out of no where she pulls out umbrella’s to save the day. I work in the fire service and leadership is key in our field. I have never seen anyone lead as well or effective as she does, not only with her staff but clients as well. Tia is no longer known to us as our wedding planner, she is a friend and we are forever great full to have had her on our team for our big day!!! My wife and I got married August 27th, 2022. We chose DC Estate Winery because of how beautiful it was, and Tia (our wedding coordinator) made our wedding our dream wedding. She set every thing up the day of exactly how we had wanted. She dealt with anything and everything that came up. She was available at every time of the day that we needed her ( my wife had questions at every hour of the day) . She was honest with us on all of our ideas, if they would work or not and anything we wanted she made sure it happened. She communicated with all of our vendors so we did not need to do any of that. She also made sure we were eating throughout the night of the wedding. I would 100% recommend DC Estate Winery and Tia!!

I don't even know where to begin! Tia was absolutely phenomenal through it all! From the beginning when we were in the process of choosing our venue, she wasn't pushy. She gave us time to talk together alone before we made any decisions. She was just so pleasant. During the planning, Tia answered every.single,one of my questions and let me tell you... there were A LOT! She took all of the stress of wedding planning away and it was just the most enjoyable experience for my husband and I. When we got to the day of the wedding, Tia took care of EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING! She was on top of it, even with the guys ;) Our wedding day could not have been more perfect and if anything went wrong... I still don't know! That is how amazing Tia is! She watched our card box and cleaned up everything at the end of the night so it was a quick load into my parents car. And as the couple.. you are not responsible for an ounce of it! All I had to do was make sure I was on that last shuttle back to the hotels :) Seriously, if you are looking for the most perfect wedding experience, you will not be disappointed in working with Tia! Our wedding was in October 2021. We had nothing but the best possible experience at DC Estate. Tia and her team were so incredible, from the day we signed the contract to the day of coordination. Tia made wedding planning fun and easy- I wish I could do it all over again.

My husband and I had our wedding at DC Winery almost 3 months ago. The experience we had with Tia and her team was absolutely amazing. Everything from the moment we signed our contract to the day of was taken care of and done in a professional manner. We did not feel any stress from our side because she had everything under control. We loved everything about having our wedding at dc winery, especially Tia! Tia was so easy to talk to and has a lot of experience, pretty much has seen it all and knows how to handle it all! Tia kept us on track and helped us make sure we didn’t forget any of the details. Tia handled day of like a pro and I’m not sure what we would have done without her. Tia was very easy to get ahold of and always answered all of our questions promptly. The winery was a beautiful place for a wedding and Tia made it a dream come true!

The best choice we made for our wedding was booking the DC Estate Winery for our ceremony and reception. The grounds are beautiful so much care was put into the wedding spaces. While the winery was gorgeous and everything we could have hoped for, the real treasure at this location is the wedding planning services of Tia Lasswell, the wedding coordinator here. Tia was there with us every step of the way in planning our wedding day from giving recommendations on vendors, her expertise on timeline and events, and her attention to detail when the day finally came. Tia made our wedding the huge success it was and anyone will be lucky to have her plan their wedding! She met with us multiple times in person/over zoom and was available over phone/email to brainstorm ideas and helped bring our perfect wedding day into fruition. She oversaw the entire wedding day to make sure it ran smoothly, that everyone knew where they were supposed to be, and that the decorations looked just like they did as we were brainstorming. Tia is an angel and was the most wonderful part of our wedding. Her experience is priceless. We got married during the pandemic and we had to reschedule our wedding. The venue allowed us to reschedule our date to our next available choice without a problem and without change fees or any hassle. The outdoor ceremony area is gorgeous and the indoor reception building is private, spacious, and quite neutral so that it will complement any decorations brought in. The winery itself is gorgeous and lended to many great photo opportunities. There is also a spacious bridal suite on site for getting ready. Finally, the wine here is amazing! Having a private winery provide their wine for the reception was the finishing touch on our perfect wedding. We had innumerable compliments on the venue and the wine and we've had guests already return to the winery for drinks after our wedding even though we live far away! We are also excited to go back and visit on anniversaries or other special occasions! Look no further than the DC winery for your perfect wedding. We are so happy we chose to have our wedding here, the winery was gorgeous and Tia's help made our day run absolutely flawlessly.

We had our wedding at DC Estate Winery in August of this year. It was absolutely perfect in every way. We got so many compliments on how beautiful the venue was! Tia, the wedding planner that works with DC, was amazing! She made sure big things were checked off our list and helped with the details we needed. Dc estate winery is a dream venue! It is the most gorgeous wedding venue we could have found and our wedding planner Tia is the most helpful and supportive person ever and helped so much throughout the whole planning process and answered every question we had. DC Estate Winery made all of our wedding dreams come true! The winery is a little slice of Italy in the Midwest. We truly couldn't have imagined having our special day anywhere else. There are so many great things about having your wedding at this venue: the beautiful outdoor ceremony area, the 360 window reception area that let's in the perfect golden hour lighting and views of the vineyard, and the lush vines. But truly the best part of having your wedding at DC Estate Winery is Tia Lasswell. Words can't describe how lucky my husband and I feel to have Tia in our lives and to have been a part of our wedding planning process! Throughout the last 3 years she has really become a part of our family! She makes the whole planning process seamless. From frequent check ins and meetings, to knowing the venue inside and out, understanding each couples individual vision for their wedding day, thinking of all the little details leading up to and day of, always being an email or phone call away throughout the whole planning process, knowing so many of the other local vendors that we worked with for our wedding, and being the best support system (pre- and during-Covid). Tia was a godsend in helping us postpone our wedding due to Covid and we are grateful every day that we had an amazing coordinator and venue that made such a hard decision easier to navigate. Another amazing benefit of having your wedding at DC Estate is the tightknit vendor community. I couldn't have asked for anything better out of our big day at DC Estate Winery. The outdoor reception space is so beautiful in the summer time, and I am in love with our wedding photos in the vineyard. The reception space is so beautiful on its own, that I felt very little pressure to go over the top with decorations (which never hurts to save a little money!). I loved the natural lighting with the glass walls, and it was truly magical to see the winery background for our reception from the comfort of indoors. I could not have asked for a better day. And on top of it all, Tia, the venue's wedding coordinator, was absolutely amazing. She helped us cover all the details, she was so responsive (especially when the world was crazy this past year!). I am very excited to make DC Estate Winery a part of our regular pit stops when we come home to the area <3

Between the gorgeous grounds, exceptional hospitality, and the dedication, professionalism and thoughtfulness of Tia, the venue's wedding coordinator, you've found perfection! Planning a wedding during the pandemic wasn't something any bride could have seen coming for 2020, yet every single time I had doubts or concerns, Tia was an email or call away. My (now) husband and I ended up splitting our even into a small ceremony this year with the reception in 2021. Some of my friends asked me if that would have made it feel different, or lessen my excitement, which were totally valid questions. I can truly say that our wedding day was still so incredibly magical with our small group of family members and we have this wonderfully managed venue and staff to thank! Everything just ran so smoothly and people are STILL talking about the charcuterie trays and wine. One of our guests even bought a six pack of wine to go because he loved it so much! We literally can not WAIT to celebrate with our friends and family here in 2021! We are truly so blessed to have found a venue that encompasses so much thoughtfulness into their events. DC Estate Winery is so welcoming, that Tia feels more like family by the end of your time there.

I can't tell you how amazing Tia and the staff at DC Estate was throughout the entire process of planning and executing our wedding day! Planning a wedding can be the most stressful time in your life and planning a wedding during a global pandemic is a nightmare! Tia made it seamless and was always there to help and support us every step of the way!! She went out of her way to make us feel like our day was the most important day! Our day didn't turn out as we had originally planned because of COVID but Tia made sure we were aware of every change as it happened! You can have confidence that everything will go smoothly if Tia’s there. 2. She does all the stuff you don’t want to do (set up/take down of tables, contacting all your other vendors the week of, etc.) She’s extremely reliable. 3. She’s easy to get in contact with - she’s very prompt at responding to emails and texts. 4. She has great suggestions for other vendors (caterers, florists, etc.). She also had great suggestions for our wedding day timeline. 5. She’s so professional, but also she’s just a great person. Hire Tia and don’t look back. It’ll be a great life choice.

From the moment we toured DC Estate and met Tia, we knew it was where we wanted to get married. From the start, Tia guided us and provided us with more support than we could have imagined. It made wedding planning a breeze. Our wedding day was the most perfect day ever. It was a relief to have all our decor set up the day of and not stress about it. We absolutely LOVED having our wedding at DC estate Winery. We had a beautiful outdoor ceremony and indoor reception right on site. The planning experience was exceptional. Tia is great at keeping you on track to ensure each detail is planned and on time to meet your wedding date. She also helped point out where my ideas wouldn't work out or would be difficult to pull off. They work with the best vendors, however Tia also coordinated with any vendors I brought in to make our day special. As we approached the wedding day, she ensured every vendor and item was ready for the day. On the day of our wedding, she took care of everything. She made sure each of us were in the right spot, ready to go (down to my personal accessories, make-up on point, and each hair in place), and every minute of the day went off without a hitch. This by far was worth the expense of the location fee, to have an exceptional wedding planner and day of coordinator. I can't recommend this location and staff enough. Everything was perfect and we would do it again in a heart beat!

D.C. Estate winery caught our eyes as one of the venues to go see because of it's beauty and uniqueness. It is unique because there is no other venue like this one. You can have your ceremony, reception, photo shoot, and get ready all in one spot! The reception room is all glass walls...really nothing more beautiful. The landscaping is a whole other story from the pond to the vineyards. But enough about the place itself...What actually sold us, and made us know it was ''thee place'' was their event coordinator Tia Laswell. After meeting her for the first time, we were 1,000% certain that not only was D.C. the best place to get married, but NEEDED Tia too. She is the most knowledgeable, honest, professional, and organized, just most amazing person out there to have apart of your wedding experience. I can go on and on about Tia. She doubles as a wedding coordinator and planner basically. Whenever I needed an opinion or suggestion or help with something, she had all of the answers and was only a call, text or email away. She was a complete relief all the way up to the wedding, and the day of. It was perfect. Because of her I really was never stressed. Highly recommend D.C. My husband and I got married at DC Estate in July. Amazing wine, amazing people, amazing atmosphere. We had the most perfect and beautiful wedding thanks to our wedding planner, Tia Laswell. She went above and beyond continuously to make our wedding perfect. She is truly a miracle worker and can solve any problem. Tia was organized, thoughtful, and so helpful. A couple of examples of how amazing Tia is: She has my whole family’s wine preferences memorized, she got my husband and I food and drinks during the entire wedding day, and took my shoes off and on to switch them with more comfortable ones all night. None of these things were things I asked of Tia, they are second nature to her. We are so thankful and grateful for her. DC Estate is a beautiful venue, but we truly went with the venue because it came with Tia. She really is one of the kind. I could not recommend DC Estate or Tia more!!!!

DC Estate Winery is hands down the absolute best venue to choose for your wedding. My wife and I were married on October 20th, 2018 and we recommend DC every chance we get. We booked about a year and a half in advance and it was a no brainer from the start. We had started a list of possible venues but decided we would head to DC first. We, like so many other couples, were blown away at how beautiful the entire property was but what really makes DC Estate Winery THE wedding venue is Tia Lasswell. Tia made the entire planning process so easy and was on top of every detail. Through many meetings, email exchanges, vendor referrals and more, Tia and the staff at DC made sure everything was perfect for us. There was nothing we had to worry about, no decorations to set up, and no last-minute surprises besides some crazy weather which gave us a blizzard, rain, and wind followed by sunshine. The transition from an outdoor wedding to inside was done so quickly and quietly that my wife and I had no idea it had happened. DC Estate Winery has become our home away from home and Tia will forever be family! We are so grateful and will never be able to thank Tia enough for all that she does to make the most important day of your life feel so perfect.

My husband found DC Estates on the Knot, we visited and the property and venue is just beautiful, having our wedding there was a no brainer. The planning went smoothly and was quite simple thanks to the Wedding Coordinator Tia (and she is included with the venue, haha, no extra cost). Tia helped us make everything just perfect, and handled every frantic email and any stresses I had with so much ease, it was actually hard to even get stressed out! The day of the wedding was just perfect. This venue is beautiful and i truly had a perfect wedding with DC Estates Winery!

First off, the venue is absolutely gorgeous! All of our guests are still talking about how much they loved the location. Tia is the coordinator there and she couldn’t be more helpful. She provided us with vendor suggestions in the area and met with us multiple times throughout the planning process to make sure every detail was perfect. On the day of the wedding she took care of everything and made the day run so smoothly. Tia is the best!

My husband and I got married at DC Estate Winery on September 7, 2018 and it was the most perfect day we had hoped for! The winery is an absolute vision and exactly what we had in mind when we were searching for wedding venues! It was the most beautiful setting for all of wedding photos (ceremony and reception)! I knew I didn't want the typical banquet hall setting because of the usual lack of windows, and the winery was exactly the opposite and everything we were looking for in venue! While the venue is amazing, Tia is a dream come true! You'll be hard pressed to find a better wedding coordinator (on staff at DC Estate Winery) than her! She truly made our day perfect! For all of you brides out there that like to have everything, down to the minute, planned out ahead of time in addition to double and triple checking everything, Tia is the perfect person to help you plan your wedding at the winery! Tia was always on top of everything, whether it was helping us find vendors, staying on track and meeting the major milestone planning task (she has an extensive and incredibly helpful checklist of her own!), coordinating everything with our vendors, and even just checking in to see if there was anything more she could help with! I can't tell you the number of time I contacted our vendors to provide them with day of updates, as we were working through them with Tia, only to have the vendor inform me that Tia had already gotten them the information they needed! And then the day of when I was trying to make sure everything was set up and ready (because that's the type of person I am, always double and triple checking everything), Tia (politely) pushed me into the bridal suite to spend the time with my bridesmaid while she took care of everything, and I mean EVERYTHING! You cannot find a better place to have your wedding!

We couldn't have asked for a better venue! Combination of indoors and outdoors spaces surrounded by a secluded beautiful scenery! The reception hall is filled with glass windows that make it feel as if you are outdoors. The surrounding grape vines, woods, streams and pond make for natural and stunning backdrops. Tia is wedding planner that works with you throughout your entire planning when you book this venue! Tia is a life saver and makes sure your entire wedding day goes on without a hitch and coordinates all of your vendors! This venue also becomes a safe haven and memorable place for you and your spouse to come back and visit!

Our wedding day was beyond what we could ever imagine at DC Estate Winery. It was absolute perfection. From the beautiful Tuscan ambiance of the buildings to the rows and rows of grape vines to meeting with the most amazing wedding coordinator, we knew we did not need to search any more for a venue and that this would be the perfect setting for our celebration. Tia, DC Estate Winery's onsite wedding coordinator, exceeded our expectations for assisting us through the process of planning a wedding. From the beginning, she explained things so thoroughly while adding helpful tips that she has learned throughout her career to help make the process easier. We met multiple times throughout the year and had a final meeting two weeks before the wedding; not to mention, she was always very responsive by email and text. She also assured us that we would never know if something went wrong on our big day because we would not need any added stress. With that being said, to my knowledge, nothing ever went wrong on our day, because it seemed to be amazingly perfect. Another great thing about working with Tia, is that she knows most of the local vendors that she would be working with the day of your special event. Many of our vendors spoke highly of Tia and enjoyed working with her and knew that everything would be handled in the best manner. Decorating doesn't have to be extravagant. With the vineyard visible from the pavilion's windows, it already provides a rustic setting, so touches of greenery and baby's breath was all we wanted to keep that vibe. The ceremony was held outside near a stone arch with a pond and water fountain behind it. It provided a beautiful backdrop for wedding photos. Also, at the start of the walkway to the "alter" are two wine barrels, one on each side of the path, and also one at the "alter." This added to the rustic vineyard feel that we were after. The wine barrel at the "alter" was great for our wine ceremony, which DC provided a little bit of white wine and a little bit of red wine to be used for the ceremony. Our wedding guests have continued to tell us what an amazing time they had at the wedding. From the food from one of DC Estate's exclusive caterers to the desserts to the DJ, the guests thought the venue was perfect in every way. DC Estate Winery (and Tia) will always hold a special place in our hearts. It is amazing to have this gem so close to home to continue to go there for years to come.

I cannot say enough good things about DC Estate Winery and the amazingly, wonderful Tia Lasswell! My husband and I immediately fell in love with the beautiful grounds of the winery on our first visit, but it was the dedication and attention to detail we felt that really made the greatest impression on us. Tia was there through every step of the planning process. She made herself available for any questions and even suggestions to help us. She is extremely down to earth and makes the whole experience enjoyable! The day of our wedding went so smoothly thanks to her and the DC Estate Staff. Such a beautiful wedding venue! Tia, the wedding coordinator, made everything we had hoped for come true. We wanted everything to be done inside, which is not the usual choice there, and she let us come out countless times to measure and make sure everything was perfect. I couldn’t have had the most perfect wedding day without DC Estate Winery and Tia from Capstone Occassions. All the guests who attended our wedding kept saying how smooth everything ran. Tia was by far the one to keep everything together. She was so organized for our meetings and knowledgeable about what works and what doesn’t, while still making sure everything met our needs. How can I even begin? First of all, as winos living in Wisconsin, no venue we toured felt quite right... All of them were too rustic or too formal. We couldn't find anything elegant, wine-focused, and laid back...until we stumbled upon DC Estate Winery. This gorgeous venue on the border of IL and WI is truly one-of-a-kind in the midwest. Driving up, you feel like you just teleported to Tuscany. It is truly gorgeous, but if you look at any photos, you'll see that. The true gem of DC Estate weddings is Tia Lasswell of Capstone Occasions. Tia is one of the most talented people I've ever met. As an entrepreneur still finding my exact passion, Tia gave me hope that everyone was made for a specific purpose. Hers is wedding planning / coordinating. She is the most organized, type-A person I've ever met. She keeps track of every detail (no matter how minute it might seem) to make sure your day goes flawlessly. From the moment we booked DC Estate for our venue in our 2-year engagement, she scheduled meetings with us to help us along the way. She helped us remember important steps (such as getting our marriage license) and was there for general support. She even sent us a Christmas card, which was awesome to show how much she cares. On the day of our wedding, rather than being the type-A, anxious, worrier bride that I would've been anywhere else, I was calm and trusted Tia 100% to make our day go smoothly. From the second we got there until the second we left, the day went PERFECTLY. She set up our decor exactly how I would've wanted... In fact, better than I wanted. When I forgot my bouquet right before walking down the aisle, she took off her shoes to run to meet her assistant who was grabbing them from the bridal suite. She brought us appetizers and wine during family photos so we could partake in the festivities too! She bustled my dress... twice! She brought calm, confident energy to our entire wedding planning process including the big day. If something went wrong, we didn't know about it. I can honestly say that I believe every bride needs a Tia. She made our wedding dreams come true. When we look back on our big day, there isn't a single moment we would change. It was absolutely perfect and a big part of that was because of her. We will forever be grateful for her and her talents. And with no doubt in my mind, we will be back to visit her and catch up over a glass (or two) of wine. Thank you Tia, Kat, Bob, and the rest of the DC Estate team for making our day unforgettable.

My husband and I we lucky enough to get married at DC Estate on July 21. The venue was absolutely gorgeous, unique, fun and easily accessible from the suburbs of Chicago. The real gem of the venue is Tia, the event planner. Tia was so fun to work with, organized to a t and made every aspect of the wedding absolutely perfect. I highly encourage everyone to get married here!!!!!

We just celebrated our wedding at the beginning of June and had the DC Estate Winery booked for our reception. Words can’t descirbe how amazing this whole process was from start to finish. From the beginning, Tia, the wedding coordinator at DC was the most hands on person. She helped keep us on track with planning and was always there with any questions we had! The venue is absolutely beautiful- a perfect outdoor/indoor elegant feel. Not to mention a great place to come back to and celebrate our anniversaries with a nice glass of wine!

There arent enough words to describe how phenomenal the entire crew at DC Estate Winery are. They helped to make our wedding the most perfect day we could have asked for. This venue and Tia, the event coordinator, are amazing!! It is so hard to put into words how great Tia did when it came to putting our wedding together and helping it run perfectly. Everything went so smoothly and if there were any hiccups, she took care of it. I have never met or been to a nicer venue than this place and the staff is lovely. Our day went by way too fast, but it wasn’t perfect due to all of those involved. This venue is a hidden gem & we are so fortunate we were able to host our special day here. The owners keep their venue to a high standard, and it is shown by how wonderful the grass, vines and pavilion are maintained. I would reccomend this place a million times over to anyone getting married! You won’t regret it!

Our wedding ceremony and reception at DC Estate Winery was a dream come true! Every expectation was exceeded! Tia, our event planner, was so organized, knowledgeable and fun to work with! She anticipated things we needed/wanted before we even asked. The entire staff was professional and friendly. The venue itself is breathtaking! I love that it looks but both modern and classic at the same time. It was so convenient for our guests to have our ceremony and reception in one location. The photos we captured are priceless with the water in the background, a beautiful vineyard and greenery and the buildings themselves are spectacular. The wine choices are exquisite. If you want a beautiful venue with a fun & sophisticates staff to support your every wish, there is no choice better then DC Estate Winery!

I can’t say enough good things about DC Estate Winery. My husband and I got married on October 14th, 2017, a day of non stop rain. Most would think it ends in a tizzy, but everyone involved were nothing but class. Tia, is without a doubt a goddess. She assured me all day that everything would be ok and I would be able to get married outside, and I sure did. There was a break in the rain and we were able to get photos outside, get married outside, all before a lot of rain came. She was there all night making sure things went smooth and everyone was happy. From the start of booking , to the 2 minutes before I went down the aisle, to the final song , I wouldn’t change a single thing about our day. Do yourself a favor, and get yourself a Tia !

My wife and I were married a few weeks ago at the D.C. Estate Winery and it was as near perfect as we could hope. The grounds are beautiful and provide a wonderful setting for the ceremony and reception. My wife was taken with the setting as soon as we first visited. What really makes this place a great place to get married however the event coordinator, Tia. With all the moving parts that go into planning a wedding, It felt like Tia was always available to answer a question, offer a suggestion, or just tell you it's gonna work out ok. Which is sometimes all that can be done. She's knows what will work and what won't work at her venue and has suggestions if you want them but will also help your plans come together if it's a bit different. My wife is very organized and her wedding was her time to let her organization skills shine. In those times when we were feeling overwhelmed with all that had to get done, Tia and her checklists made sure we focused on what we had to get done and to trust that the rest would fall into place. She helped keep everyone calm as the day approached which allowed my wife and I to enjoy the time with our friends and family as well as the process itself. On the day of the wedding, Tia was running around making sure everything ran as smooth as it could and the result was a beautiful wedding and a great party afterwards. We received numerous compliments from guests who had a great time or simply loved the winery setting. It's a little gem hidden in northern Illinois. A slice of Tuscany that pops up in the middle of cornfields. I don't recall seeing my wife as happy as she was on our wedding day and it's in no small part due to the setting and the help of Tia in pulling it all off. This place is very special and couldn't be more highly recommended.

DC Estate Winery was one of the main reasons our wedding day was so special! I would HIGHLY recommend to any bride and groom. The outdoor location, vineyard, and buildings are beautiful, clean, welcoming and an ideal spot for a wedding. It feels as if you're tucked away in your own little beautiful corner of the world. Our wedding was the end of September and we could not have had a more perfect day. DC Estate Winery also works with some fabulous vendors that made our day go off without a hitch. I didn't have to stress about if things were going to work out because I trusted our vendors to take care of it all (and they did!). On top of this beautiful and picturesque location DC also has a venue coordinator, Tia, that is AMAZING! She was definitely more than just a venue coordinator and really felt like more of a wedding planner to us! She helped us every step of the way in coordinating with the other vendors and making sure our day went smoothly and timely. She was SO helpful on the wedding day as far as making sure we had everything we needed for not only myself and my husband but also both of our families and the wedding party. Tia made us feel very valued and really wanted to make sure that we had the best day. She is extremely experienced and awesome at what she does and really makes DC a top notch venue. Definitely consider this venue for your wedding if you're looking for a beautiful picturesque location and a stress-free day.:)

But it is way more than scenery for a wedding... the staff, the attention to detail, the wine.. it really is the whole package for such a special day. I can't not express in words how amazing our wedding was at D.C. Winery. We first saw the winery and instantly fell in love with the venue. It is located in a low-key area with a beautiful vineyard, and the building gave us an Italian winery feel. The landscapeing is just gorgeous. When booking the wedding, their wedding planner, Tia, is included in your package. We literally could not have done our day without her. We had meetings with her on a regular basis to discuss our vision of our day. She did not once judge, pressure, or try to persuade us. She listened to every thought we expressed, and truely cared to make sure we had the day we always dreamed of. Not only did she help plan/solidify colors, vendors, the wedding day itinerary, rehersal, and so much more, but she also was in contact with every vendor we used to make sure they were all arriving at the correct time, and that the vendors knew exactly what we were envisioning/expecting. This was great for us, as planning a wedding is a stressful time, and one miscommunication with a vendor could make or break your day. She double checked everything for us to make sure everything went smoothly. Every person I've talked to asks what our one "hiccup" was on the wedding day as this is supposedly a common occurance for one thing to go wrong. I can honestly say that because of all of Tia's hard work, not a single thing went wrong at our wedding. It was absolutely a perfect day. All in all, this is a gorgeous venue, that comes with a genuinely caring wedding planner, and I did not mention it- but the wine is ABSOLUTLY AMAZING! We went to college in Southern Illinois and were spoiled with wineries, but DCs wine is some of the best I've tasted. Love this place and nothing but great things to say about it! Highly recommended.

We had the most incredible experience working with Tia at DC Estate!! Our wedding was an absolute dream day -- completely stress free and exactly what we had envisioned. The venue is GORGEOUS and I loved that we could have the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in one place. It was a perfect September day and the vineyard provided beautiful scenery for pictures. I would recommend this venue to anyone!

My wife and I had visited the winery a number of times with friends, and we always felt there was something special about it. So when we got engaged, the first thing we did was call DC Estate to check availability. Before we knew it, we were at the winery booking our wedding date. The venue is beautiful and well kept, the staff is friendly and approachable, and the wine is delicious. Plus, the pavilion recently had A/C installed. All of this made DC Estate the perfect venue to have our ceremony, photos and reception. The best part about DC Estate was getting to work with Tia Lasswell, the winery's onsite events director. She worked with us throughout the entire wedding planning process and made everything incredibly easy. She provided a list of local vendors to work with, she was responsive and helped answer any questions we had, and made sure everything went smoothly the day of our wedding. We could not have asked for a better person to work with! A huge thank you to DC Estate Winery and Tia for the perfect day and a lifetime of memories. We just got married at the winery a week ago, we had a great time, the guests had a great time. Everything was literally perfect!! Tia, especially, she was a HUGE help, I couldn't have done any of it without her!! The atmosphere at the winery is great, the customers are so nice, and so is the staff, the wine is the best. This place is just amazing all the way around, I can't say enough good things about this place!!!

On 8-19-17, my (now) husband and I got married at DC Estate Winery! What a PERFECT venue! We’re from Janesville and wanted something a little unique for our guests without having to fly everyone to a destination. And although DC Estate Winery is just 20 minutes away, we sure felt like we treated everyone to a beautiful winery getaway! It’s a beautiful place and the staff is exceptional. Hands down one of the biggest benefits to choosing DC Estate Winery was Tia, the wedding coordinator. AMAZING! I honestly don’t know how she does it. She’s organized, very quick to respond, very quick to help and do whatever she can to personalize your wedding. Plus she has a wonderful relationship with all of the vendors. From start to finish, Tia made the entire wedding planning process a breeze. She proactively made sure we were on top of everything we needed to have done, and she simply has enough experience to know what just needs to get done versus what small details she COULD (but doesn't) be stressing a bride out with. She’s a true professional, and I strongly feel every bride should have a Tia to help. So I feel super fortunate to have found such a beautiful venue with such an amazing team of wedding experts. I often joke to people that the 1 problem with our wedding is that it’s unfortunately only a 1 time event. Because if I could do it all over again, I’d do it in a heartbeat. Largely because of the beautiful venue and wonderful Tia. Oh… Also…. it’s a huge bonus that the wine is excellent too! :-)
