Decca was referred to us by our venue, We hired them sight unseen. We had a quick phone conversation with our dj, Josh helped us plan our wedding all over a single phone call. I give Josh 5+ STARS....he was the DJ at my daughter's wedding and was magnificent. He was able to keep our guests fully involved in all the wedding activities we had and played an awesome array of music from my daughter's chosen playlist. He helped me out prior to the wedding starting with some wedding decorationsin which he had that she was wanting to have at her wedding as well as giving me a full run down of what he was going to be doing for the evening. He took over as the overall host of the wedding for me to so I could enjoy my daughter's special moment. I will hire Josh for any of our future needs and I most definitely tell/refer everyone I know needing help within his realms of expertise (which that is an enormous realm of expertise that he has!! He does it all folks!!!) all about him and give them his info to contact him. He is one amazing guy and extremely good at his job!!

Joshua was always quick to respond to emails and very nice. He gave us extra time at our wedding for a gift which was awesome! He kept people dancing on the floor and did a solid job! Originally we were supposed to have a set up outside for an outdoor wedding, however, we had some weather roll in and Joshua was kind enough to set up inside last minute. Decca was the DJ for our wedding reception. The test I use for giving a positive review is whether I would happily hire a person again – and we would hire Decca again without hesitation. He was such a nice addition to the reception: he embraced a few silly ideas we had and really ran with them, created a seamless flow between events, played a fun game as he moved people through the dinner line, was easy to work with as we planned our reception, and he helped us determine the schedule of events (which was so helpful for me as I wasn’t sure where to start and found this aspect overwhelming until Decca walked us through the planning process). He helped us figure out what we wanted and made it happen. Many of our guests have told us our reception was amongst the most comfortable and enjoyable receptions they’ve attended, and Decca played an important role in making that happen.

Joshua was AMAZING! So responsive to my emails, met with us in person to go over our wish list and event schedule, and had a super easy-to-use platform where you could choose songs. I don't think there was a single moment where people stopped dancing at my wedding. The song list was AMAZING and I allowed for requests, which kept my guests excited and on the dance floor all night!

when I walked into my room reception it took my breath away! I could not believe the amazingness in the way the deck audio had decorated and the sound the deck audio had created for my entertainment and my enjoyment for my own reception. I absolutely would recommend this vendor to anyone that wants have an amazing time and create incredible memories for their wedding and reception!

Such positive energy and knows how to entertain. We booked them for our wedding. It was so stress relieving to know our guests were taken care of. They also can play ANYTHING from country to rock to pop to rap. We didn’t have to pick every single song that was played. We just told them what we liked and then they went from there. We worked with Joshua this last weekend for our half indian/half american wedding. He was a delight to work with and he even helped us create our mash up song for our dance. He was easy to work with, very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely highly recommend him! He had our guests dancing all night, it was a blast!

(Gay wedding) WHERE TO BEGIN... I’ll first start by explaining why I felt it important to specify this was a gay wedding. My husband and I spent a lot of time trying to find vendors who's performance would not be impacted by the fact that two men were getting married. I would like to believe that the vast majority of professionals would not let this fact impact their work but there is certainly reason to consider this when planning a wedding. That being said... Decaa Audio did an outstanding job at our wedding. We could not have been happier with the work that they did. Justice planned things down to the second and made sure everyone was on the same page. Josh knows his stuff, all the way down to making sure the volume is at the perfect level for your venue. The music was great and the emcee aspect was on point! DECCA helped to make our wedding absolutely perfect. Based on my experience, look no further for a dj/emcee. -sky

Josh and Sydney did a fantastic job with our wedding. Josh and I spoke for about an hour in person a few weeks before the wedding to make sure all of the music, introductions, etc. were just right. He made excellent suggestions for how to make the event go just right. He showed up far in advance of the wedding to get setup and make sure that the sound levels and eq were working properly. During the event he did a great job of making sure that everything flowed smoothly, and our wedding went off without a hitch. I would highly recommend his services.

No complaints at all. It was pleasant from beginning to end. Josh had lots of knowledge when I called to get a quote and details on his services. He had availability on fairly short notice and he sent me everything I needed quickly and the website to select our music choices was so easy to use. He had a huge playlist to pick from. He came in and set everything up perfectly with very little instructions which was so nice because as a bride, I had enough chaos going on that day and it was nice to not have any extra stress of having to worry about that part of it. He organized some really fun games to play at the wedding and he helped keep a nice pace and flow through the reception. The lights and disco ball he brought added the perfect touch to our decorations. I would definitely recommend using his services. Great service for a great price.

Wedding receptions for my daughters! We have used these guys for two of our daughters weddings now! They have always done a fantastic job for us and has been a great experience. They offer a variety of services and gives you lots of options to think about that we never even thought of before he mentioned them. Great service and wonderful people tiki fork with, I could recommend them if your looking for any event.

Josh decorated the hall for my daughters wedding in December, it was lovely! He custom made 2 canopies with hanging chandeliers in each, it was exquisite for our black tie affair! Thanks Josh.

My wife and I had a live band at our wedding reception and we were concerned about managing so much sound and so many musicians in the space we had available. We brought Decca in on it and were immediately taken care of! They set up all of the equipment that our eleven member jazz band would need the night before our reception and were there for the entire event to ensure that everything ran smoothly! The music was wonderful and we didn’t have to worry about the sound quality or the volume at all! Huge plus for the bride and groom if you ask me! We highly recommend Decca Audio and Entertainment if you need state of the art sound equipment or a DJ for ANY event you are hosting.

We had an amazing experience! Decca did the draping for my wedding. Josh was awesome to communicate with and answered every single one of our questions, no matter how many we asked. He went over the drape design for our reception with me and spent all the time he needed to in order set our design up. Everything looked perfect. Decca Audio & Entertainment made our granddaughter ‘s wedding reception beautiful. Josh and Courtney were very professional and thorough and a pleasure to be around. They were very helpful with us and even let us use there steamer. We were very pleased with there work.

We hired Josh to put up the ceiling drape and to DJ our daughters wedding. He did an amazing job. He had different options for the draping and was very good to listen to what my daughter wanted. Although we did use a live band he was very good to coordinate with them to provide whatever audio equiptment they needed and they sounded amazing. Working with Josh was really easy - he coordinated with my daughter to develop a layout that fit what she wanted and matched the building very well. He was on time, organized, and proficient in getting everything set up and cleaned up without any hassle for us. We also had a live band that he coordinated with for the sound system- it all worked out great. I have no complaints, but had many guests comment positively about the decor and the sound. We’d recommend to others and appreciate working with them tonight.

We didn't know that our church social hall could look so amazing! Josh and his team were so easy to work with. They're are very professional, punctual and fun! The hall is huge but not very pretty. The hall needed draping, a ceiling canopy and lighting. My daughter had a vision of romance. She gave him a picture of what she had in mind and they created a custom canopy. It was so beautiful and romantic! The walls were draped, two chandeliers were added and up-lighting around the entire room the changed colors throughout the evening. Many of our guests have been to hall before. They couldn't believe it was the same place! They danced under the billowy canopy and chandeliers all night long. Oh, Decca Audio and Entertainment also provided the music for the ceremony, dinner reception and the dance! I wish I could post before and after photos on this site. I will re-post this review (with photos) on Decca's FB page and on Google! I highly recommend them!

Upon meeting him, Josh displayed an enthusiasm for his service. He showed us possibilities for lights and sound that was beyond our imagination. Josh was fantastic! He DJed at my wedding and I reaklu couldn't have asked for better. He helped keep us on schedule (which was very important to me) he also has quality music and had all our guests dancing and engaged in the reception We wanted out wedding to be a party and big celebration and he made it just that! He hosted bride and groom games and my husband and I love it. He had all our guests laughing and having a good time. Highly Reccomend. You won't be disappointed!

We hired Decca for our ceremony audio. They arrived early. Had time to help us with our rehearsal. Even helped coordinate. Josh is extremely professional and was very good at relieving stress On us. Since the 1st contact Josh was very soliciting and answered all my questions. His price was compatible with our budget and we decided to go with him instead the ones in our venue vendor list. He went over the venue to get to know the place and figure out stuff about the audio system and equipment installment. He did that without us having to tell him to, which was nice and took stress out of our planning process. He was also at the location for the wedding day very early. We don’t live in Utah and only had one meeting before the actual day. On the meeting Josh explained to us how he worked, the system he used and listened to our requirements. We were very happy when he told us he would listen to every single song in our playlist and make sure they were put well together as well as played at the right time according to the beats. Music and dancing are VERY important in our family and we made sure to tell him that. Since I’m not from here, something else important to us is to make sure our family and friends experience both cultures. We wanted to make sure Brazilian songs were going to be played as well as the ones from here. Our playlist had more than 9 hours of music and everything we wanted was included. Throughout the night we had some minor problems like wrong cake cutting song, late tempo for certain songs or low audio for reception that would have been just details if it wasn’t for bigger problems that added up and resulted in everyone complaining during the party and talking about it afterwards. The Brazilian part was non-existent. For the reception we didn’t have one song that was played but the ones designated for seating and dinner. I asked Josh at least 3 times and he would tell me he would play them. Finally, he said he would play them in the after party. Not ideal, but acceptable. Still during the reception our guests were getting frustrated to the way he was transitioning the songs. The songs were not played in full. He would cut them and most of the time in not a good part to be cut at. Some people would be literally in the air dancing and BANG, song cut! We also had songs played more than once and songs we didn’t include. At some point I thought we were the problem since we sent the playlist a week before, but no because I asked him to let me know of any problems and he didn’t mention anything. For the after party I waited a little and nothing. I asked him multiple times about it and at some point he started playing songs in Spanish which have nothing to do with Brazilian songs and he knew because we let that very clear to him on the meeting. Lastly, he told me he wasn’t finding the songs in his system, something we tried to avoid creating a Spotify playlist and sharing with him. I inquired about the playlist and apparently he didn’t have the cable to connect his normal computer to the sound system so he didn’t have our playlist available in the moment that was most needed. It was very infuriating but at that point there was nothing I could do. One of my bridesmaid, decided to dance to at least some Brazilian songs, went to him and start using his Ipad that was finally connected to the amplifiers. I’m happy we could at least do that and dance, but again, very disappointing. With that being said, I give Josh 3 stars and advice anyone who considers music a big part of their wedding to not hire him. He is a good DJ for traditional weddings with most played songs kinda thing but not a fit for unique set ups like ours.

Josh was great to work with. He take such good care of his clients and makes every wedding special. You will love having Decca do your event! The lighting is amazing and I just have the say that the "Cloud Dance" is the coolest thing ever !

We worked with Joshua at Decca for our wedding in Deer Valley in June 2018. From start to finish, we had a very positive experience. We were planning the wedding from overseas, and he was really accommodating with scheduling calls across time zones. He was very generous with his time and expertise, listening carefully to our vision and making both practical and creative suggestions for making it a reality. He provided initial resources and then patiently worked through our suggestions for the song list, staging and scripts. He literally went the extra mile to buy the sparklers for our grand exit. On the day, he was thoroughly professional, well organized, kind and pleasant to work with. He ensured the volume of the music was appropriate to the room and the activities. He was flexible as we slipped behind schedule. The dancing was a real highlight of the day, with both the father-daughter dance and couple's first dance scoring big hits as well as tears. Our guests got caught up in the energy and we had a blast. The sparkler exit he arranged was seamless, even with small children involved. Our only regret was that we needed to wrap up the evening so the resort staff could begin take-down. We would highly recommend Joshua to anyone.

Josh is amazing! If you want a professional and awesome DJ you need Josh. He listened to what we wanted and gave expert advice when we asked for his opinion. Josh made the day about the bride and groom and what they wanted. I recommend Josh to anyone looking for DJ services! He is wonderful to work with and took all of the stress out of the event. We had the opportunity to work with Joshua as our wedding DJ as well as our lighting and draping vendor. He did a FANTASTIC job! The draping and the dance floor lighting were absolutely beautiful and added a touch of classy to our "nature themed" wedding. As a DJ, Joshua blew everyone's mind! Since ours was an Indian wedding, a good portion of the ceremony and reception were very different from a traditional American Wedding . Joshua was so great at accommodating all of our needs with respect to the ceremony, and set the dance floor on fire during the reception. He worked tediously with my husband and I to create a song list that would interest all our guests. He also went off-list to improvise whenever necessary to ensure that the dance floor was constantly bumping. We had an amazing time working with him and he definitely contributed to making our wedding a success.

Josh and his team did a wonderful job managing all of the details of Austin and Stacey's big day. I and my wife was so stressed that he was not going to have our dream reception with me losing my job and not having enough money. Most of our wedding MC request was about $5000+ we were afraid we wouldn't have music or lights that that's when I found Josh and his company! All I can say is WOW!! but it's not gonna be the only thing I am gonna say about this amazing company! We had our dream wedding for way less than the MC asking for $5000!!! all of our worries was taken away! We even had our 1st dance together in the clouds with his atmospheric effect machines! they looked great for our photographer's :D Music filled the whole gym! lights on the wall matched our wedding colors! our beautiful wedding cake even had a light to show it off..until my wife got it all over my face when we went to cut it, haha The kids loved the lights and clouds! as we walked out there were tons of bubbles as I took my wife to my vehicle. it was funny hearing the little kids say I cant blow as many bubbles as the Bubble machines are making and it was a lot! The kids loved them as we walked out! Josh went out of his way to help us! he is worth every penny! I would recommend him to anyone! This is your big day! don't take a chance with anyone else! he gave us options and not just one bundle but several doors to choose from! from decorations to lights, music, entertainment! When me and my wife was going to get married on September the 8th we was so overwhelmed! We knew what we wanted but no one could deliver...until we got help with Josh from Decca DJ music and lighting! ALL of our worrys was gone! He showed us things we never even thought of! And wow did he deliver! Our 1st dance was amazing and we really was dancinging in the clouds with his Atmospheric effects :) the kids enjoyed seeing and playing with his cloud machine! the cake was lit up! And the dance floor was great! Wall lights was our wedding colors!!! Never a dull moment! How I wish I could re live my wedding reception!! I just want to say WOW!!! My daughters reception in our backyard was absolutely stunning!! I've know Joshua for a quarter century, an I can honestly say that he is one of the most creative, hardworking, and decent men I've ever known. After seeing his work at previous events, I would recommend this company very highly to anyone I knew. His Spanish is fluent, which is shocking from a blonde haired, blue eyed, caucasian.
