Courtney is an amazing wedding coordinator and Deerfield is an absolutely beautiful and elegant venue! Everything was so easy to plan and I really liked how we were able to sample the food at a tasting before the wedding. Convenience is an understatement, we were able to get ready day of in the beautiful bridal suite and my husband even had a really nice area to get ready. There were so many gorgeous photo spots and I couldn’t have gotten enough compliments about the food and venue from my friends and family at the wedding. I would recommend this venue to anyone time and time again! The staff was all amazing and the bar service was fast and efficient, making delicious cocktails. My wedding at Deerfield was truly a dream come true!!!

Deerfield went above and beyond to make sure we had the wedding of our dreams! To begin with, the venue is absolutely stunning. The staff works very hard to keep everything clean and tidy. There are tons of beautiful picture opportunities throughout the venue, inside and outside. We received many compliments on the food, it truly was the best we have ever had at a wedding! Courtney and the staff treat you and your family like royalty on the big day. They were sure that we always had a drink in our hand, and that we were able to sit down and enjoy the food during our busy night. They catered to our parents and close family the whole night as well, bringing drinks and food constantly. Courtney was so organized and helpful for the entire planning process. Lastly, I HIGHLY recommend utilizing the bride & groom suite at Deerfield. My girls and I had a blast getting ready the morning of, as did the guys in the groom suite. The suites are beautiful and so spacious! I cannot recommend this venue enough, you truly will have the wedding of your dreams!

Our Wedding Day went better than I could have ever imagined. Courtney and the Deerfield staff were outstanding. Ourselves, wedding party, and parents, didn't have to think or worry about a single thing the entire wedding day. Courtney and the staff made sure the entire day went flawless. Courtney checked in on us all day/night, made sure we ate, had drinks, I even saw her make my great-grandmother her dinner plate without even being asking... we are just speechless. The staff was also amazing. Constantly clearing plates and clutter from tables all night and worked as a team. Our guests raved about how beautiful the venue was and how amazing the food was. We highly recommend Deerfield to couples that are looking for a Venue that will do it all. From setup, food, bar, and tear down, and the entire planning process, Courtney and staff made our Wedding dreams come true.

Deerfield is the most beautiful wedding venue and was everything we wanted and more. Courtney (our event coordinator) was so extremely helpful every step of the way and her team did a fantastic job with our wedding. The food was amazing and everyone is still talking about how good it was and how beautiful the venue is. The bridal suites and groom suites are an awesome addition as well. I cannot say enough good things about Deerfield and would recommend anyone to get married there.

I was supposed to attend a wedding for my brother and my husband was in the wedding. I was refused entry after being given direct permission from the general manager, who was the same person to tell me to get out with my ADA service dog. Very aggressive. Very rude, avoid this place at all cost. It’s not worth your time.

We had the best experience at Deerfield! Courtney made sure everything was perfect and helped to keep the day running smoothly! The venue itself is just absolutely gorgeous and the food was amazing! Everyone was raving about the late night garbage plates. All of the staff was very professional and friendly. The bride and groom suites were beautiful and so comfortable to get ready in!

A 5-star review would never fully justify our satisfaction, gratitude, and amazing wedding experience we had at Deerfield. Leading up to the big ceremony, the bride and bridesmaids will have what seemed like an entire underground bunker of beautifully laid out rooms for hair, make up, and mimosas. The groomsman’s suite was a regular gentlemen’s room with a TV, mini fridge, changing room, games and lounge space. Both suites had accommodating attendants that brought food and drinks. The outdoor ceremony space was elegant, pristinely maintained and colorful. So much so that we saved money on ceremony flowers. The indoor/outdoor reception space was the perfect setting for warm weather, allowing guests to spend time on the patio overlooking the immaculate fairways and greens, or having a drink at the bar directly adjacent to the dance floor. Courtney, our wedding planner, clearly demonstrated that this is not only her career, but her passion. She was with us every step of the way, answering emails and asking for details all in a timely manner. Guests told us that she didn’t let a glass get empty before asking if they wanted another, she was seen cleaning the bathroom, treating her staff as equals, and demonstrating a professional demeanor at all times. Finally, the number of guests from our wedding that compliment the food, continues to grow. From the chicken spring roll appetizers to the prime rib and vodka sauce, I refused to allow Courtney take my plate and replace it with a warm one because I wanted to finish every bite on the first. When it came to the cost of everything - we received the final invoice and we’re pleasantly surprised. So much so, that we made upgrades to the bar and the menu. Overall, we couldn’t have been happier about what many told us was “the best wedding they’ve ever been to”. As a result of this wedding, the groom is inquiring about a golf membership and the bride is dying to try their newly renovated restaurant while having a cocktail. Personally speaking, after touring the space - we didn't want to look any further. And we hope you don’t either… We extend our highest thank you to Courtney and the entire staff at Deerfield. Thank you for making our dream become a reality on one of the most important days of our lives!

Deerfield was the absolute best venue we could have chosen for our wedding. From the moment we stepped in the building and grounds, we were stuck with how beautiful every detail was. The wrap around patio and porch had tons of areas for photos, space to mingle, and was filled with gorgeous flowers and greenery. The inside was spacious, clean, bright, with natural decor. Courtney, the wedding planner, was on top of every detail, kept us on track the year leading up to the wedding, and on the day of was extremely supportive, helpful, kind, and attentive. We are beyond pleased with all of the staff, and would highly recommend to anyone who asks!

Run, don’t walk, to check out Deerfield. I would recommend this venue a million times over. Deerfield is near and dear to our hearts, as my sister was married there in 2017 and my late father golfed there regularly in the summer months. Courtney Moriarty did a phenomenal job working with us from start to finish. She is the most organized and detail-orientated coordinator, who makes sure everything goes perfectly and just the way you want it to. She doesn’t let any detail slip through the cracks and checks in with you regularly throughout your wedding planning process. I honestly wasn’t worried about things going wrong the day of because I knew Courtney had everything under control. The venue is absolutely breathtaking both inside and outside. We knew the food was amazing from previous experiences there but it was great to hear all of our guests rave about it. The owners and staff are beyond professional and overall amazing. In addition to having our celebratory reception in the beautiful ballroom, we could not be happier to have utilized Deerfield’s beautiful bride and groom’s suites for getting ready on site in addition to the ceremony space. We highly recommend Deerfield for your wedding!

I don't even know where to start with Deerfield! From the day we walked into the venue in 2020, up until our wedding day, you cannot find a more perfect venue. Courtney was absolutely AMAZING. Her attention to detail and organizational skills made the wedding planning process fun and go smoothly. The bride and groom suites are a perfect way to start your morning and the morning suite food is delicious! The suites make this venue stand out since it's so easy to do everything on-site on your wedding day. The venue is flawless in the way they run weddings and the grounds and ballroom are absolutely beautiful. We had so many guests compliment the venue, staff and food. There isn't a high enough rating for Deerfield and we would never have picked anywhere else to have our wedding. Courtney and the Deerfield team certainly care about making your day the most perfect and magical day ever!

Deerfield Golf & Country Club was the best venue we could have picked! Every step of the way, the wedding coordinator Courtney was there to help. She answered endless emails that my family asked without issue. From the moment we stepped onto the grounds, we knew it was the one - and we had looked at about 30 venues before that! The day of the bridal suite attendant made my bridesmaids and I feel comfortable. The fact that they have a grooms suite is also a major plus! All of our guests had nothing but nice things to say about the day of! I cannot say enough positive comments about this wedding venue! I highly, highly recommend this for anyone looking to have an elegant yet relaxed wedding with their loved ones :)

Deerfield is the most beautiful venue ever. It rained our entire wedding day, but everything was still so perfect. The staff is excellent and took care of everything for us and really ensured that we were happy and taken care of the entire day. We had our dream wedding at Deerfield on 7.22! We received SO many compliments on the venue, food, and flow of the wedding. Courtney and staff were amazing. I didn't have to lift a finger and I felt like my parents actually got to enjoy the wedding and not have to host. Everything was done so well. I couldn't be more gratful.

7.16.22 was the best day ever thanks to Deerfield! Courtney worked alongside us planning for almost 2 years. She was always very kind, responsive, and organized. When it came to our day, I had no stress or anxiety because I knew Courtney and her team would execute the day perfectly. Deerfield's grounds were beautiful day of and all of our guests kept complimenting the venue. Everyone also raved about their hors d'oeuvres and dinner. All of the working servers and bartenders were kind, prompt, and helpful to guests. Everyone working really made sure it was a stress free, beautiful day. We are SO glad we chose Deerfield. They were so professional to work with and extremely helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process. We looked at multiple venues in the Rochester and Buffalo area before deciding to celebrate one of the most important days of our lives at Deerfield Country Club. Courtney, our coordinator, far exceeded our expectations with her professionalism and organization, especially when we had to postpone a year due to COVID restrictions. Deerfield is beautiful and allows for so much natural light. It is well decorated throughout, making it easier to take a less is more approach with centerpieces, florals, etc. We were worried about the quality of the food with a buffet style meal, but our guests were blown away with our tasty selections. Courtney was incredibly knowledgable and guided us through any questions or concerns that came up. We were overall so impressed and couldn’t have been happier with the way our day came together. 10/10 venue.

Everything about Deerfield is top notch - from the moment you walk in it is stunning, to the food, the bridal suites, the grounds, to the staff. I recently had my wedding at Deerfield. When I say everything from start to finish was an 11/10 that is no exaggeration. They go above and beyond, pay attention to every detail, and don’t miss a beat. The bridal suites are absolutely beautiful and very spacious. I had 9 bridesmaids, 2 flower girls and both of our moms getting ready, so the bridal suite was very important to me. They even recently just added a groomsmen suite which was an awesome spot for all the men to hang out! The ceremony space is BREATHTAKING. The grounds were beautiful, the decor is flawless. The food was unmatched as well. I’ve had so many guests tell us how amazing their dinners were! They clean up so well and you don’t even realize how efficient they are until you look around and see how quickly everything is done, and done perfectly. I came back the next morning to grab some leftover things and they already had the place spotless again. If you want an unforgettable, stress free wedding where you know NOTHING will go wrong- book Deerfield. Courtney Moriarty our event coordinator was a superstar. Deerfield was the perfect place to hold our wedding. From beautiful views, an awesome bride room, classy decor, and a well lit outdoor space, this venue has it all. The food was delicious and the food tasting event they hold was a huge help in picking out our menu. Their wedding planner Courtney was a huge asset with helping us plan all of the details. They worked with us through not 1, not 2, but 3 different wedding dates we had set (thanks COVID). They helped us pick a new date and no deposits or anything was lost in the process. If your looking for a fairy tale wedding, this is definitely the place.

My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at Deerfield in September, and it was a dream. Our event manager, Courtney, was everything we needed and more to help us feel at ease during the planning process. She is knowledgeable, responsive, accessible, friendly, etc., I could go on about her! Everything from the grounds to the bridal suite, were stunning and elegant. You can turn the reception rooms into the feel and look you most desire, which is not always common at other places. The updated chandeliers, the light and airy white walls with large windows overlooking the views of the course are so complimentary to a classic wedding theme. There are ceremony and reception items you can rent from Deerfield as well in case the stress of buying all the décor feels too overwhelming. I’d have to say, the buffet was the star of the show; most of our guests told us that it was some of the best food they have ever tasted, and my husband and I completely agree! Courtney and the wonderful Deerfield staff helped set everything up, and to our surprise they completely packed up the room neatly and gently after the wedding ended and had everything ready in boxes to be picked up the next day. Overall, my husband and I had such a smooth and stress free day and we were able to thoroughly enjoy our wedding. We received so many compliments that the venue was beautiful. Before I forget as this is one of the most important factors of a wedding facility, the photo opportunities are INSANE, everywhere you walk both inside and outside, an effortless picture is waiting to be taken. Overall, we are beyond satisfied, elated even that we had our special day at such a special place. I highly recommend couples to consider Deerfield as their wedding venue choice!

Deerfield Country Club is the perfect place to have a wedding reception. From the preplanning to the ultimate event, Courtney was there to guide us through every step. The preparation room for the bride was the nicest I have ever seen. This space was roomy and up to date. The outdoor wedding site was the perfect location, with the golf manicured green as a backdrop for pictures.j The food was absolutely delicious. The guests were raving. Our event was a complete success.

Deerfield was the first venue we looked at and instantly fell in love. From day one, we worked with Courtney and she made sure to answer every question we had and continued to reach out to ensure all of our needs were met. The day of our wedding couldn’t have been more perfect. The entire staff throughout the day was absolutely incredible and worked so hard to keep things going smoothly and guarantee our happiness. The venue was beautiful, the food was amazing and the atmosphere had us and our guests not wanting to leave. We were so sad after it ended and since then we’ve been told how perfect the entire day had been. My guests could not say enough good things about the staff, food, decor, and venue itself. WOW, from the first time we found Deerfield's website we knew this was the venue we wanted to be married at. The grounds and the venue are both beautiful and the food was amazing. Courtney was beyond communicative and accommodating through the entire planning process. Anyone who has planned a wedding in the last year knows that the mandates and restrictions changed a thousand times, and Courtney made sure we were aware and felt comfortable about our plans throughout the whole process. On the day of your wedding, everyone at Deerfield goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. Our day was absolutely perfect and I cannot recommend Deerfield enough!

I really loved the way everything turned out for my wedding at Deerfield. The set up was beautiful and came together like I planned. The outdoor scenery was prefect for the ceremony and pictures, and the flowers outside were in perfect bloom. I loved the bridal suite that we were able to get ready in all day and take our time. Courtney was very professional and on top of everything, and always helped when needed. We loved the champagne right after the ceremony. The food was great, everyone raved about the filet, but the one thing that turned out a bit dry was the chicken french. Other than that we were very happy

We just had our ceremony and reception at Deerfield this July. We were so impressed with their professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to make our vision come to life. We selected the most expensive meal choice and were very satisfied with all of food, family and friends were talking about it for days! Of course the late night snack (we chose the garbage plates) were a great/fun addition as well. We worked exclusively with Courtney M. and have nothing but great things to say about her! We booked a year prior and she maintained communication throughout, helped with details to keep us on track, and ran the show on the day of! Would absolutely recommend.

We got married on July 24th, 2021 at Deerfield Golf and Country Club. From the start I knew I wanted to have our wedding at Deerfield. Courtney, the wedding coordinator, was always available to schedule meetings and phone calls to help answer our questions, especially the covid related ones. Deerfield was the 3rd venue we decided to look at. After our tour, Courtney sat us down and explained all the prices and package options. The fact that she sat us down and explained what we would receive really told me that they cared and wanted us to know what we would receive from working with them. Anthony and I both agreed as soon as we the wedding packages they offered we couldn’t wait to put down a deposit to save our date, because even just the basic package was exactly what we were looking for, just wait until you see the upgrade options!! Every area of Deerfield, is beautiful. The staff is phenomenal, and so great to work with. After our big day, our guests couldn’t stop telling us about how amazing their dinner and drinks were, and again, just how beautiful, elegant, and classy the venue is. My husband and I just got married here! All of the staff, especially Courtney were so so amazing, attentive to our needs, kept everything running smoothly, and made our night a dream come true! Our guests and families were blown away by the hospitality, and told us that it was the best food they ever tasted at a wedding. The gardens and views were absolutely stunning for pictures! This place is the absolute best, and highly recommend.

My husband and I got married September of last year and due to COVID, we could not celebrate with our friends and family. We were planning on having a vow renewal/reception this year at Deerfield Country Club on our 1 year anniversary. However, due to ongoing restrictions, we decided to cancel the event. Even though we did not have our event at Deerfield, we had an amazing experience with the staff there, especially the event manager, Courtney Moriarty. When we went for our first meeting, she met us at the door and did an amazing job with the tour of the place and going through all the different packages. She went through everything thoroughly in person and via emails. She has always been very professional and communicated well about everything. When we decided to cancel our event, she was so kind and spoke to me over the phone and our whole deposit was refunded immediately. I am sad that we are not having our event at Deerfield this year but I am very impressed with my experience so far and would highly recommend this place.

Our wedding was on 11/16/19. We decided to check out Deerfield because of their good reputation, location on the west side and gorgeous atmosphere. We had both our ceremony and reception there. Our experience really exceeded our expectations! Decisions were easy to make & Courtney was very accommodating to our requests. Our guests really enjoyed themselves and we received many compliments on the food and over all experience. We had a beautiful day! We would highly recommend Deerfield for a wedding and have already held our recent baby shower there. The breakfast brunch is great too!

Me and my husbands wedding was on 07/05/19. Deerfield went above and beyond my expectations. Courtney our event coordinator was a huge help from start to finish. The staff was just simply amazing they definitely know there stuff. We also did our ceremony right there. The bridal suit was just beautiful and the right size to fit my whole bridal party in. The ceremony was just breath taking. I would not change a thing about our day. My guests still brag about the food and the venue we picked. Best wedding location we have been to. I recently married my now-husband, Kyle at Deerfield Golf and Country Club on October 4th, 2019. From the moment I stepped into Deerfield, I instantly knew “this is where I want to get married.” I loved everything this venue had to offer from the rustic interior ambiance to the breathtaking view of the greens. I could see myself getting ready downstairs in the bridal suite with my girls (which was to die for!) and walking down the aisle outside with my Dad to marry the love of my life. The ceremony space was stunning and little décor needed to be added. We were able to capture beautiful photo/video both in the venue and outside. There were so many hidden gems throughout the golf course to stop and get great shots. Our wedding coordinator- Courtney was absolutely amazing! She was so on top of things and always made us feel at ease. We were able to text, call or email her anytime with questions and or concerns. She always had an answer! Our day definitely wouldn’t have gone as smoothly as it did without her by our side. The bridal suite attendants, as well as all the other Deerfield staff, were so friendly and attentive. Our guests raved about the buffet and were very impressed with the presentation and layout of the ballroom. It fit our guest count perfectly. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better day to call our own and will remember our wedding for the rest of our lives. Thank you Deerfield for all you did for us! While thinking about this past year, one of the biggest highlights of the year would definitely be our son and daughter in law’s wedding at Deerfield Country Club! Tom and Heather Cocilova! I would highly recommend anyone having an upcoming wedding in the planning to check them out. From our first steps in Deerfield for the tastings to our meetings with Courtney, I must say pure perfection. The food was delicious and we sure did enjoy he WHOLE day there having been able to utilize the Bridal Suite for hair and makeup. I actually did the flowers for the wedding and everyone was so helpful and accommodating to any of my needs or concerns. Then about 2 hours before the wedding came the torrential rain. Of course with an outdoor wedding , you will always run the risk of this and they are always prepared for making your wedding equally beautiful if the rain were to continue BUT this again is where they excel in customer service and professionalism. Extremely calm they prepared the other site placing chairs and setting up the undercover location while another crew were continuously cleaning blowing and sweeping away the rain at every let up of the rain STORMS. Never giving up on the possibility that the wedding could indeed be outside,.... the clouds parted, the seats where dried and the place was immaculate. Unbelievable ! All I can say is that there was nothing that they did not think of and that everyone went out of here way to make the day absolutely perfect! We worked with Courtney and Ryanne! Both were extremely PROFESSIONAL and went above and beyond to make for everyone the BEST DAY EVER!

From the second we pulled into the property and walked into the building we knew Deerfield was the place we wanted to get married. The views are breathtaking. Working with Courtney was a wonderful experience. She was very responsive and had an answer or great advice for every question/concern we had. Deerfield made the entire experience so much fun from the food tasting, to the mock set up. Spending the day in the bridal suite was stress-free and enjoyable. Our wedding day was picture perfect. The fall colors of the landscaping outside was beyond beautiful. The staff was very attentive all day and they exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious. The guests were complementing the food all night long. We loved the fact that we just showed up that day and everything was taken care of for us. I would highly recommend using Deerfield for an event.

Deerfield is such a perfect venue if you are looking for a place that has both indoor and outdoor beauty. The trees, pond, and greens of the golf course make for great photos, as well as the unbelievable flowers, lights, and shrubs on the patio. The indoor decor is unique, warm, and inviting. The day-off and day-after service was on point and the food was fantastic. Ryanne was our helpful and sweet wedding coordinator who was supportive for the whole year we worked with her. She made our big run smoothly and made sure our reception ran smooth

From the minute we walked in we knew this was our place. The outdoor ceremony area was beautiful and the ballroom was amazing. Our coordinator Ryanne was amazing to work with! She was always available to answer our questions and even helped to settle my anxiety while crying into bowls of popcorn. Everyone loved the outdoor courtyard where our ceremony took place and the food was amazing. Our guests are still talking about it!

Deerfield is by far the most sophisticated, classy “rustic” venue in the Upstate NY area. I wouldn’t look anywhere else but here to get married and host your wedding. They are geared towards making sure you have the best wedding experience possible. Check out the bridal sweet!! Not many other locations even have a place for you to store your items for the day- let alone get ready there with beautiful picture opportunities for your photographer! Ever one of my 150 guests said how delicious the food was- most going back for seconds!! The staff was top notch and very hospitable and I could not thank our wedding coordinator, Ryanne Johnston enough for the attention to detail that she gave to me and my wedding. Any request that I had was done, without judgement and without hesitation. Ryanne made me feel like we have been friends forever and she treated me like the perfect maid of honor should. I got married in September of 2019 and had both the Ceremony and Reception at Deerfield! I can't express to you enough how wonderful the wedding turned out! All of our guest still talk about how delicious the food was and how beautiful the facility is. The bridal suite was stunning and such a perfect space to get ready in as well. I'm also so thankful for Amanda, our coordinator since she was on top of everything! She is wonderful to work with and made sure everything that day went smoothly. Deerfield did an amazing job with making sure we were happy most importantly! I highly recommend checking out Deerfield for your future wedding or hosting any special event! I wish I could rank them more than 5 Stars since they really deserve it!! They go above and beyond! I'm so happy we went with them for our venue!!

We could not have imagined our special day anywhere other than Deerfield! I had butterflies just walking in for the first time! Amanda was our coordinator and made our experience and whole process of wedding planning go smoother than I could have ever wished! All the staff at deerfield are well experienced and very helpful! Food was absolutely wonderful everyone loved it! We had 165 guests and we were in the big room and it was very comfortable! Loved every little bit of Deerfield they helped us have our dream wedding and the best day of our lives!

We could not have been more impressed with Courtney and the entire staff at Deerfield. Courtney made our experience everything we could have ever imagined. The venue is beautiful and the food was incredible! I even forgot to seat two people (oops) and Courtney wasn't even phased and took care of it with such ease. Since the moment my husband and I stepped into Deerfield we knew it was where we wanted to get married. It completely encapsulated our vision and is just absolutely stunning. What also drew us to the venue was the convenient wedding packages that included everything we needed and they had different packages depending on your budget. Everything on our wedding day was absolutely perfect and it wouldn’t have been possible without Amanda, Colleen, and the set up crew. They truly made my dream wedding a reality. Everything was set up perfectly and to my vision. They had amazing attention to detail, which I always appreciate. I didn’t have to worry about a thing on the day of the wedding, and that is definitely every brides dream. The bridal suite is also to die for and was such an incredible space to get ready in with all of my bridesmaids! I had so many people come up to me saying I was so calm and at ease the whole time, and that was definitely because I had so much support from the staff to ensure everything went smoothly! Amanda always made sure I had a drink in hand throughout the night and food when I needed it. Also, the food was amazing and we got so many compliments! Everyone loved the wedding and some said it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. We couldn’t be any more pleased with the experience and wish we could do it all over again. Thank you for such a beautiful day that we will remember for the rest of our lives!
