We had our rehearsal dinner at the Artisan at the Delamar. They made it a breeze to plan the event. The food was outstanding and the bar service was top notch. Beautiful location!
Highly recommend booking a hotel room block with the Delamar. They made our booking easy from start to finish. They were very responsive for any questions we had throughout the entire process. We also booked a suite for the groomsmen to get ready in and where we stayed the night of the wedding. The suite was HUGE and beautiful. The groomsmen really enjoyed the suite. They had so many personal touches that made the stay even better!!! The breakfast in the mornings was also delicious. We received many compliments from our guests on the hotel.
We had our wedding lunch at Artisan and worked with Kelly to reserve the Folly Room. It was a perfect space, and the food was amazing! Kelly was wonderful to work with: professional and so helpful.
We had a winter wedding in Connecticut, which really limited our options. Many lovely venues work only in warm weather, and we really wanted to avoid something that felt like a banquet hall, or even a country club.
We love the food at Artisan, and the location in the hotel and near a train station were both ideal. Because it's not a typical wedding venue, I worried at first that it might be less smooth to coordinate, but we worked with Sherry, Kristin, and Olivier, and everything was beautiful. We ended up dancing and having cocktail hour in the restaurant, and tenting the patio to connect to the tavern for dinner. The tented area was beautiful, warm (even in February), lit softly and decorated in perfect harmony with our colors. On the day of the wedding, the staff took care of everything from placing gifts in guests' rooms to a few unusual food requests, to discrete re-staging during the event. The room we stayed in on the night of the wedding was absolutely amazing. The bed, the shower, the food waiting for us, even the art on the wall were wonderful.
Our wedding at the Delamar Southport was incredible.
