I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Della Terra Beauty. Diana and Sierra are the best duo!! I have had bad experiences with others doing my hair and makeup. I was super nervous because I personally love doing my hair and makeup but didn’t want to do it myself on the big day. They put me at ease during my trial. I absolutely loved my look! My bridesmaids looked so beautiful as well. They were so much fun and such a pleasure to be around. I was so so happy! Thank you ladies!!🫶🏼

I'm a makeup girly - so ensuring my face was PERFECT and flawless on my wedding day meant everything to me. I worked with Connie for makeup and Essie for hair - and it was the best decision I made as a bride. They were both professional, kind, personable and most importantly - I felt like a million bucks on my special day. They were open to constructive criticism and changes - they made it their main priority to make sure I was happy with my look. We used the studio on my wedding day to get ready and we had the best morning getting glam and taking pictures.

Highly recommend for bridal hair & makeup! I did a bridal hair + makeup trial in May 2023 at the Della Terra studio before my October 2023 wedding which really helped me on my wedding day. The Della Terra look books were so helpful in helping me refine my vision for a wedding day look and Sierra gave fantastic skincare suggestions during the trial. By doing it so far in advance, I had the chance to really customize a twice daily skincare routine that worked for me consistently leading up to the wedding so my makeup would go on super smooth. Sierra & Diana did a fantastic job making me + my bridal party feel special the day of my wedding in Asheville before we left for our venue about an hour outside the city. Everyone was in love with their hair & makeup looks -- it was perfectly natural but elevated with some glowy & flowly touches to make everyone sparkle while feeling comfortable :) There were a lot of tears on my wedding day, but no makeup smudged during the entire day (no touch ups needed and we started at 9:30AM) and everyone's hair still looked amazing the day after before washing away!

Della Terra Beauty (especially Diana, Heidi, and Manning) was a complete hit for me when it came to wedding vendors. From the beginning, the team is very responsive and I booked far out enough that I was able to request them as my hair and makeup artists! Diana and Heidi did my trial, rehearsal dinner, and wedding day makeup. They listened to my requests and genuinely slayed it. I loved how my hair and makeup turned out, and it lasted all day long. Manning helped with my bridesmaids and they all had nothing but amazing things to say! Besides just the hair and makeup, they’re just so so nice and calming on an important day. Diana stayed after doing my rehearsal dinner makeup to help me steam my dress! It’s the little things that make all the difference. I hope I have an event in the future where I could use them again. They were truly such a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them!!

Amazing! Della Terra Beauty made my wedding party and I feel absolutely Stunnin'!!! As soon as I began talking with them, I knew I wanted to work with them. Their communication was fast, reliable, and they were able to make everything work that I needed. I went in for my trial with Connie and Heidi, and left feeling absolutely amazing and confident that I would look how I dreamed on my wedding day. I wanted pink, soft glam and Connie made it happen, but better than I imagined. Not to mention - It lasted ALL day and well into the night! Through the tears, the dancing and dinner. Heidi gave me the boho fishtail of my dreams. I didn't think I had enough hair to accomplish what she pulled off. It looked absolutely amazing, and both of them were so nice to work with. My bridal party STILL talks about how much they loved their makeup. It can be hard to make sure every person feels good and loves their look, and this duo did it with ease! Additionally, my husband has long hair, and wanted it braided, so Della Terra sent out a third stylist to the venue to do the hair of some of the guys. He is still getting compliments on how nice his hair looked, and it made our photos so great! I can't recommend them enough. Connie and Heidi, thank you for being amazing. I highly recommend Della Terra! Not only did Lo and Manning do an amazing job on the makeup for my wedding, but they both brought great energy to the bridal suite and were really fun to be around. Lo and Manning did a great job of listening to what each girl in the bridal party wanted, and we all were extremely happy with how our makeup looked. I have never felt so beautiful and it is thanks to them!

Della Terra Beauty is amazing! We planned a destination wedding in Asheville, NC so of course there is always some added stress when booking something in another state. But they made everything seamless. Their communication is outstanding and specifically Manning and Diana were wonderful to work with. They made me feel the most beautiful on our big day! I would recommend them to anyone!

Della Terra's stylists Sierra and Baylea did an AMAZING job with hair and makeup for me and my bridal party at my wedding last fall! The questionnaire they sent helped narrow down style options and makeup looks ahead of time, and I opted for a trial at their Asheville studio that also helped me decide on my final look for things like lipstick color. Della Terra uses traditional makeup versus airbrush, which was perfect for lasting all day and night on my acne-prone, oily skin. I only had to touch up my lipstick! On the day of, Sierra and Baylea were incredibly friendly, patient, and attentive. Highly recommend them for your wedding or special events!

My Bridal Trial was so fun, I knew I had made the right choice with this company. Our experience on my wedding day was above and beyond. We all had a blast and felt our most beautiful after working with our artists: Baylea, Jacob, and Riley! The took our visions and made them come to life! They took the time to perfect every detail. We are so happy!

Connie understood my makeup inspo, taking strides to listen to my concerns and understand my skin issues so she knew which products would work best for my features. She also made me feel so comfortable and confident with my bridal glam look, and they all did the same for my bridesmaids and mothers as well. And Makenzie was by my side the entire time of the 12 month+ planning process to answer any questions for me and calm my anxious nerves. I hope I get to work with the Della Terra Beauty team again in the future, it was a great experience.

For my elopement in Asheville, I wanted myself, my mom, and MIL to feel glamorous, especially since none of us wear makeup regularly! Communication about what we wanted in advance was clear and concise, and we all felt super comfortable with Diana. She made us feel absolutely beautiful for my special day!

I've had my makeup done a handful of times by professionals, and this is the first time that I still really felt like me underneath it. I asked that the look be light and natural to let my freckles still show through, and I was blown away by how perfectly that was done. My hair was also done beautifully, and held up all day and night which is a huge accomplishment for my hair which tends to deflate and lose style. All in all it was a great experience. They also did my mother's hair and makeup, and she looked gorgeous.

Della Terra Beauty was a great choice for my hair and makeup! Wedding day or any day for that matter. I've been to previous wedding's in which the quality of work was just a step above what you would normally receive at a Salon but not Della Terra Beauty. My self and wedding party, plus guest agree not only did they exceed our expectations quality wise, they were worth all we paid for and more. There friendly, and energetic personalities also helped to make us feel at home! I would go to them again for any event and recommend them in a heart beat! They also left us with "touch up kits" which was a nice surprise!

The Della Terra team was an essential partner in helping me look and feel absolutely beautiful for my late fall, intimate wedding. Manning (hair) and Diana (makeup) were open to my ideas, receptive to feedback as they worked, and made me feel comfortable from the moment I sat down with friendly conversation and consistent mask-wearing. I definitely recommend springing for a trial before the big day, if you can, but if it's not possible - as was the case with Diana - you and any members of your wedding party will still be in confident, professional hands.

Megan and Jess were absolutely PHENOMENAL, and Terran was such a dream to work with. When our photographer accidentally forgot the date of our engagement photos, these ladies saved the day and were able to redo my hair & makeup the following day. When a pandemic hit and our wedding was canceled, then rescheduled, then rescheduled AGAIN - Terran was so understanding and supportive. I absolutely loved my hair & makeup both for our engagement photos and our wedding. Jess and Megan took the examples I gave them, listened to what I wanted, and created absolutely stunning looks. I cannot recommend Della Terra enough!!

Terran and her team were so amazing! We had to reschedule and downsize our wedding due to COVID-19. Della terra were super accommodating and flexible. Terran did an amazing job creating a very natural wedding look. I did not look cakey at all but the makeup lasted all day in the summer heat. Not only did they do amazing hair and makeup but they are so much fun to be around. It was so lovely getting ready with a team that was so friendly and sweet. I would highly recommend them!

What can I say Terran she was simply OUT of this world, marvelous and professional but personable as well. She didn’t dictate but gave me options for my hair and makeup. Since we eloped she even helped me into my gown and Assisted with photography, the end result, my groom said, I was stunning. He even mentioned my glitter and told me how perfect I looked. She went above and beyond my expectations.As a black woman I was worried because it’s Challenging to match my skin tone , but she matched it perfectly, (no ashy here). I was beautiful! We plan on doing vowel renewals and I will definitely call her! She was exceptional!!!!!

These women were absolute rock stars, and I simply cannot put into words well enough to do them justice for what a great experience we had with them!! They not only made our hair and makeup look phenomenal, they were incredibly fun and a pleasure to be around. We had a last minute snafu with our venue (it ended up getting resolved), and these ladies were calm, professional, and kept the mood light-hearted. They were absolutely integral to me being able to maintain my demeanor while getting my makeup done in the middle of the mini-crisis. In addition to makeup and wedding hair expertise, they were also amazingly helpful with choosing a local brewery for kegs and for finding a barber for my fiancé to get his hair and beard done pre-ceremony. I would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for an incredibly talented, fun, and inspired group of women to help make their wedding day (or any other festivity) a remarkable experience. They were so great they make me want to schedule another session just for fun!

I would definitely recommend Della Terra beauty!! Terran made sure to answer all my questions and give me all the info on how to get to the studio, where to park, and who to contact. Megan did an amazing job with my makeup!!!! It lasted all day and I received soo many compliments! She was so sweet and easy going! She even help me get ready after she did my makeup. She was truly a lifesaver, because it was only my fiancé and I. So I wouldn’t have had anyone to help me get dress.

So phenomenal! Sorry this review comes late. The pandemic is really with me. First, I was a bit disappointed that I saw less of a reflection of me in many of the stylist’s portfolios so imagine how thrilled I was to start through Della Terra’s pictures and see beautiful women of color done up to exquisite perfection. I’m sure the photographers deserve credit but still. And then, I also see same sex couples in these photos. My mother is a lesbian and I had worried about the team around me on one of the most important days of my life. But it was clear Della Terra is inclusive company with the highest makeup and styling skills in the region. From the photos, it doesn’t seem to matter to the quality of Della Terra’s work whether you are white or POC, whether you are a straight or LGBTQI couple. You will receive expert care.

I would definitely recommend Della Terra Beauty for wedding makeup and hair! The artists were amazing and so much fun to be around/work with. In addition to all the laughs, they kept it very professional and did an amazing job. My makeup lasted the entire time, and could've laster much longer! All of my girls + family members who had their hair done were stunning and we received nothing but compliments. Not a single curl fell. They have great A La Carte prices, if you/your bridesmaids don't want to do a complete package and communication was a breeze. Love Della Terra!

I'd recommend Della Terra Beauty to anyone looking for professional, talented women to make you feel your best on your wedding day. Terran and Jess were amazing. They provided on-site makeup and hair services for myself and my five bridesmaids. All different hair types, skin tones and ethnicities were in my party and I wanted to make sure they were being dolled up by people who were versatile. They did not disappoint. They're truly artists and I know I'll be happy for years to come when I look back at photos because of their hard work and talent.

Terran was a complete joy to work with! I lived in Brooklyn, NY and had my wedding in Asheville, NC. It was extremely important to my husband & I that we hire as many dope Black-owned vendors. She handled my natural hair like a boss and my bridesmaids were extremely happy campers as well! We laughed the entire prep time prior to my wedding. I would hire Terran again in a heartbeat for upcoming events!

From the very beginning, booking with Della Terra Beauty was so easy! I was booked with Megan and she was was absolutely amazing. As I'm sure most brides feel, I was extremely nervous about having my make up done. I'm pretty picky when it comes to certain things and Megan was reassuring and followed my lead throughout the whole process. She is so nice and she made me feel so comfortable after our trial that I found myself so excited to see her again by the wedding day. Even if you don't get Megan as your artist, I'm sure you will be so happy with the outcome. There were times where I needed to relay a message and Terran was more than willing to make sure what I needed would be taken care of. Its obvious Terran and Megan care about their brides and this team loves what they do!
