Derald was absolutely amazing for our wedding. We had some last minute changes in the schedule, and he was able to adapt and keep things rolling smoothly. He was a blast to work with and all the guests loved how he would join in and dance with the crowd. Derald is very professional/experienced and was very easy to work with. We just filled out a form, had a quick meeting with him two weeks before the wedding and he was good to go. It was truly a beautiful day, and I am so grateful to Derald for the amazing experience he provided.

DG Visionaries is absolutely amazing! Owner Derald Gray made sure the night was just perfect for our daughter's wedding. After observing him in action at a Halloween fundraiser, I knew I he had to be the DJ at my daughter's wedding. He not only puts together the perfect personalized playlist, he actually gets out there and dances with everyone. I can't recommend him enough.

Derald is a young DJ with the most professionalism I've seen in a DJ. He kept the party going for 5 whole hours straight! It's been two weeks and I keep hearing about how much fun everyone had thanks to Derald! He wasn't our original DJ, but boy was he the perfect one! DG brought the energy for the reception! We gave him 1 job and that was to keep people on the dance floor. He more than succeeded. I cannot be more happy that we chose DG visionaries to be a part of our wedding day, Derald exceeded EVERY expectation my family and I had for “the best DJ”. To preface, we decided on a dry wedding, which I think for anyone who chooses this route you have natural concern about your guests being entertained… that was not the case here. After Derald and I’s first and only planning meeting my mind was put even more at ease about our decisions to work with him. He took every idea I had about how the day would go and made it come to life and as smooth as possible- he was open to suggestion but also had great feedback to provide to make it all come together well. My family and friends are huge music lovers so going into it we knew this was a priority. Most of our guests went out of their way to tell us how much they loved him, from communication about the day to getting on the dance floor with all of our friends and family throughout the night, he was TRULY the best. No wedding is complete without Derald!!! Coming from a current wedding planner, Derald is best in the business! He made the planning process so easy for my husband and I and was always available to answer any questions we had. Planning a wedding can be really stressful, but Derald's software system is extremely user friendly and helps keep you organized. In terms of the execution of the big day, I mean just look at these photos!!!! Derald brings the life of the party and got EVERYONE out on the dance floor, and when I say everyone, I mean even my 80 year old grandparents were spinning around. He was one of my favorite parts of the wedding and I definitely would have had regrets had we not booked him. I can’t say enough great things about Derald and DG Visionaries! So easy and fun to work with. He did our ceremony and reception and we also did the Photo Booth which was a huge hit. The energy and fun Derald brought to the dance floor made for an unforgettable night. We had so many guests ask where we found him and asked for his information. We discovered Derald through my husband’s brother’s wedding and instantly knew that’s who we wanted to make our wedding a PARTY- and that’s exactly what Derald did! From our initial zoom meeting with Derald, we knew we wanted him to be part of our daughter’s wedding day. He was organized and easy to work with. The day of the wedding, he was punctual and truly was the life of the party!

We have NOTHING but LOVE for Derald! Not only is he a phenomenal DJ, but he's an amazing person. Throughout the planning process, he was intentional about being up to par and knowledgeable with our plans, timeline and details. He really worked to make sure that he knew how to best make our night flow. Halfway through the planning process we included video as a part of our package with him. This was by far the BEST decision! Derald waltzed in the door bright eyed and bushy tailed the morning of our wedding. While getting his set up all in order, he was spinning some bops and bangers while our bridal party was taking pictures. It kept the energy for photos ALIVE! He captured every special moment throughout the day for us and now we can watch back our special day. He surprised us with Freemind Event Painting at our reception which was by far the most heartfelt and special gift we received! As if defying gravity, Derald turned up the energy level every hour of our reception. His talent and energy was all our guests could talk about and still talk about! He sets the bar for what you should expect out of a DJ. Electric. Fun. Great Moves. We had a hall full of dancers and Derald just matched the energy of our guest and we got to enjoy him being on the dancefloor challenging people and getting everyone hype! He took INCREDIBLE care of us throughout the night and was patient with our queues. He mixed one banger right after the other and was right out on the dance floor with everyone! The most special part of having him be a part of our vendor team, is that he felt like family the entire planning process, wedding, reception and even came to our morning after brunch the next day! Derald is the person you want and NEED at your event. Nothing but love and support from us!

Derald was the LIFE of our party! He acted as the emcee and DJ at our wedding and he was so much fun and so professional!!! He really prioritized playing the songs and artists that were important to us and kept the party going. I love how he was able to mix songs on the spot and really worked with our crowd's energy. As an entertainer he was top tier. He was dancing along, getting everyone hyped up, and our guests couldn't stop talking about him!!! As an emcee he did absolutely everything perfectly. He took the time to make sure he was prepared for the day and executed it in perfect detail. We also utilized his photobooth option and it was SO fun! Our guests loved it and loved that it was easy to operate. Plus they could text the pics, gifs, and videos straight to their phones and we got a copy of everything a few days after!!! If you want your wedding to be the best party ever then Derald is the way to go!

We hired DG Visionaries for our New Years Eve wedding and Derald did not disappoint!! We could not recommend him more! His energy and playlist kept the party going well past midnight. From the beginning of our planning process to the final song at the reception, Derald was a joy to work with. Stop your search now and book him before the date fills up. Derald is hands down the best DJ out there. The fact that you can book him in Northern Indiana is incredible, he would kill it in any market! I can’t put the skill he has at getting the party started and keeping it going into words. Unbelievable customer service; if you send him an email he replies back so quickly! I’ve never been so impressed before. You won’t have any stress once you book him for your event. I wasted time trying to talk to other DJ’s in the area. Don’t make the same mistake I did, just book him! We got sooo many compliments from all of our guests. If you want people to remember your event, go with DG.

We hired DG Visionaries for our wedding ceremony and reception. Derald was hands down the best DJ. Upon meeting him at a bridal expo, he was the only DJ to talk to me about me and my husband. His spreadsheet and payments are super easy to do, very convenient. He got to the ceremony and reception site very early to set up. During the reception, he was such a blast! He never let the party die down until it was time to go home. 5/5 would recommend.

The DJ Visionaries team was such a pleasure to work with! Derald was very helpful in guiding us through our schedule of events and song choices for our wedding. The tool provided was easy to navigate and make changes to along the way. We were even able to make a VERY last minute (day before the event) song change without issues! Our event had to be rescheduled because of COVID and Derald couldn't make it, so Trey took over as DJ and did a phenomenal job. Due to COVID protocols, he had to set up and then move TWICE during the event, since we had multiple locations for our wedding. Trey was flexible, professional, and did a fantastic job with everything. We could not have asked for anything more! Thank you DJ Visionaries!!

When we got engaged two years before our wedding, we knew that we wanted to ask Derald to be our DJ. His personality and professionalism were just some of the qualities that we loved about him. Derald was the best DJ and went above and beyond for our day. He was promptly there several hours prior to our ceremony to set up and make sure he knew the venue. He also was incredibly flexible and let us add on services for our ceremony last minute! He LIT UP the dance floor like I've never seen and is now one of the preferred vendors at our venue (even though our wedding was his first time at our venue!!!). Derald was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, cheesy to say but if could give more than 5 stars I definitely would. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience from the day I spoke with him to book, to the day of our wedding. Derald was easy to get ahold of, speak to, and was extremely transparent and professional throughout the entire process. I could hear in his voice from the first moment we spoke how passionate he is about his work. His process was easy to follow and I loved his online event coordinator I which we filled out prior to the wedding with our timeline and specific music picks for the ceremony and other events of the wedding. If you’re looking for someone who will be interactive and get your guests going, he is 10000% your guy. My self, my now husband, and many of our guest never sat down during our reception. Derald even jumped in with the crowd many times during the night ! I had many people asking me that night “Where did you get this DJ from?” Telling me that he was absolutely amazing and they’ve never seen seen or had a DJ like him! One of my wedding guest even said it was the most fun wedding they’ve ever been to, and that was definitely in-part to having such an amazing DJ! Would absolutely recommend and book Derald over and over again, we are so glad we found him for our big night!
