If you want to dance with your guests while listening to a band that slaps, this is the group for you. You will have a professional and fun experience from your first inquiry with your band manager until the band is playing at your event. We are both musicians and finding a live band was the most important vendor for us from day one. It’s weeks later and our friends and family is still talking about how much fun the band was. We actually wish we’d have booked a videographer so we could’ve captured the amazing energy and music the band brought to our reception. These guys are worth every penny and then some!

We hired Diamond Empire for our son and daughter in law’s wedding and they were fantastic! We had used them for our daughter’s wedding a few years ago and were so impressed that we hired them again and asked for the same musicians. We worked with Phillip who was wonderful…his followup and professionalism was great and he made sure the evening progressed flawlessly . The band was great and we all had so much fun at the reception! I highly recommend this company!

We got a string trio for the cocktail hour and ceremony as well as an eight piece band For the reception. Both were fantastic. My only negative comment would be that the sound was so loud for the band that it was distorted and we had to ask five times for them to turn it down before they did.

wow wow wow. Such a fun band!!! Everyone was on the dance floor all night - lead singer was amazing! The band even learned a song my dad wrote for me for our father daughter dance. Philip was super easy to work with and made the whole process stress-free. Would highly recommend!

It’s been four months since our wedding and all of our guests are still talking about the band! They pulled out all the stops for us, with two string players during the ceremony, a jazz group for the cocktail hour, a live band at the reception, and a surprise last hour DJ set that kept the party going! By the end of the night there wasn’t a single person sitting down, and even vendors joined the dance floor. We will recommend Diamond Empire Band to anyone and everyone that we can. -Mike and Julie

Having Diamond Empire Band at our wedding was one of the highlights of our day! They provided the music for our ceremony (violin soloist), cocktail hour (jazz trio), and reception (6 piece band). We first heard about DEB on the Knot and went to one of their showcases, where we were blown away by how talented they were! The band manager Phillip was very responsive, thorough, and professional throughout the planning process. He was knowledgable about our venue and was able to provide lots of guidance based on past events there. When we had a misunderstanding about the timeline of our event, he was flexible and accommodating. We had several special requests with regard to our reception music, and everything went smoothly. The set list was awesome, and we liked that we were able to make our own playlist on Spotify for the MP3 music that was played during dinner and band breaks. Most importantly, the band sounded great and our guests danced all night! Wedding bands can get expensive, and we're still amazed by the value that DEB provides for such a reasonable cost. We highly recommend them!!!

Diamond Empire was the hit of the wedding! They were so patient, easy to work with, and open to all genres. Their musicians are incredibly talented, and worked with us to accommodate our ceremony as I had some of my close friends sing at our wedding. They put arrangements together of our processional songs in their key, and were so easy to work with. They also played beautiful piano and cello music during our cocktail hour, which our guests were raving about. Whether you want a 3 piece of a 12 piece band, they can do it! We had a 9-piece band with an included MC, and they were wonderful. Truly professional, and voices like angels! When I tell you no one left the dance floor, I'm not exaggerating. From the time they started, there was always a group going. A friend recommended them to me, and I just knew I had to have them. They have plenty of genres of songs they are familiar with, and can tailor your reception to your music taste. I had friends and family of all ages and backgrounds, and everyone was raving about how great their energy and mix they had. Without a doubt, I definitely recommend booking them for your wedding. If only they could do the rest of my life events!

We have nothing but phenomenal things to say about Phillip and the Diamond Empire Band. They were incredibly attentive and responded to any inquiry nearly immediately. They were extremely flexible, adapting to our changing needs without any pushback. Their online portal for planning made coordinating with our venues and planning for ourselves nearly effortless. We had a string quartet for our ceremony who learned the songs we picked for the day and played them flawlessly. The eight piece band for the reception was stellar, nearly every guest told us how amazing they were and made the night so fun and special. Our dance floor was full all night long. They even learned one of our favorite songs to bring the night to an end and we’ll never forget those moments. The MC for the night kept the show rolling through all of the dances and toasts. We would give them a higher rating if it were possible and cannot recommend them highly enough.

We hired Diamond Empire Band for our daughter’s NYE wedding. Our experience could not have been better. The 9-piece band was excellent- all top-notch performers, great energy, and fun. A shout-out to Tanka, one of the lead singers, who does Beyoncé like there’s no tomorrow. Phillip Graves, our produced, work well with us throughout the process. We appreciated the planning process with a personal on-line planning page, automated reminders, and on-line contract execution. Efficient and saved time. In the days that followed, we received lots of mentions about how good and fun the band was. I’d give them 10 stars. Highly recommend!

All band members were friendly, well dressed and overall very professional. I have received so many compliments on the band we chose and it was the talking point of the whole event. We first discovered Diamond Empire Band at my friend’s daughter’s wedding and when our daughter started planning her wedding we knew exactly who we wanted for the entertainment. The whole process of planning the event is so easy with the Dashboard Planning Page and our coordinator was always available to help with the process. The musicians are so professional and incredible at their craft. The dance floor was always full but even if someone wasn’t into dancing you felt like you were at a private concert. Very entertaining for everyone!

Diamond Empire Band is the BEST! They were so easy to work with, helped us through the whole planning process, and gave us a fantastic night of dancing. The band itself was so talented and interactive, but also Phillip, the producer was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the whole planning process. We had originally booked the band for 2020, but due to COVID, we had to reschedule for 2021. Phillip made it so easy to move our contract to a different date. They all are fantastic, definitely use them for your event!

We loved the Diamond Empire band. We had many compliments on their performance. The manager, Phillip, was phenomenal with staying in touch with us about our day and making sure we had everything we wanted. However, the MC, Drew, did not at all follow the prompts. We had asked to play our wedding song the full length along with mom & son song full length. He didn’t. He didn’t make a big announcement about the last song & refused to do one more. Thank goodness the other band members tried to! They didn’t follow our song list we wanted & instead played hit wedding songs occasionally, which was fine but we were slightly disappointed. We did express our feelings at the end of the night & he apologized, which was kind. Overall, it was a great experience.

My husband and I really love to dance and we wanted a band that would play music we loved and keep the party moving. We were so happy to find Diamond Empire Band. They are awesome! Super easy to work with--they send you a dashboard for you to put in all of your info, timeline, music choices etc. All of our vendors were incredible but the band was amazing! We booked the 6-piece band and they kept people out on the dance floor all night. They played everything from Motown to Beyonce and everything in between. They came down to the dance floor while they were singing which was so fun. They are so talented and we're so happy with everything they did. If you're looking for a wedding band in St. Louis that is going to keep the party hopping, book Diamond Empire Band!

I am not in the habit of leaving reviews of vendors for weddings I attended, but holy wow, Diamond Empire Band was amazing. They played at one of my best friend’s wedding this past weekend, and they were truly spectacular. They made the entire reception feel like a party. They got down on the dance floor and danced with us. They were flawless on all of their songs. They were just so much fun. The lead female vocalist in particular was SO good and did an AMAZING job with Love on Top. Thanks for making this such an awesome night, guys!!!

In our wedding planning process, we highly prioritized music because we wanted our reception to be a party. We were recommended the Diamond Empire Band by our Wedding Coordinator. Due to Covid we were unable to see them prior to booking, but the decision to book the band turned out to be one of the best decisions in our whole wedding planning process! The reception was definitely a party and we received several compliments on how great the band was. They played everyone’s favorites from Motown to today’s hits. We would highly recommend the Diamond Empire Band and would hire them again in a heartbeat!

Diamond Empire Band completely ROCKED our wedding. The dance floor was packed from the start of our reception to the end. We had many guests tell us that it was the best wedding band they had ever seen, and that it was the most fun wedding they have ever attended. They played a wide range of music as well, which was wonderful. I also loved how they MCed our event and made it so much fun for our wedding party. If you want a dance floor that is full of energy and dancing, you should definitely hire Diamond Empire Band!!!!

The Diamond Empire Band exceeded expectations!! The night ran very smoothly, Andy the MC, made sure everything was announced perfectly as planned and kept everything right on time. The band kept the dance floor packed all night, which was my main request. The guests of our wedding kept telling us how much fun they had with the band all night! We even had a few people the night of wedding ask for the contact information for the band because they were so impressed. Also, Phillip was super responsive and helpful leading up to the wedding. He made sure all my requests for songs and our special dances were accommodated. They made sure to know the music style we wanted before the wedding so that our ideal wedding music was played. Phillip was always available to answer questions and help get the day organized prior to wedding day. As the bride, I had zero stress or worry with the band, which is what every bride wants. I would highly recommend the Diamond Empire Band to any wedding or event looking for a band. They are affordable, accommodating, and super fun!

Hands down the best band we've ever listened to and we are so incredibly happy we had them perform at our wedding reception!! We received SO many compliments throughout the night from everyone of all ages and even weeks after about how they played a variety of music and sounded incredible. The planning process was by far the easiest out of everything we had to do to get ready for the big day. They provided an online dashboard where you can customize your night including location, timing, special requests, etc. and Nick was quick to respond to any of our questions. My husband and I would recommend them one hundred times over to anyone who asks!!

WOW. Literally the best decision we made was booking this band. Our wedding guests danced all. night. long. I have never seen anything like it and everyone still can't stop talking about them now months after our wedding. Our contact from the band leading up to the wedding was super informative, attentive, and really took the time to get a feel for who we are and what our tastes in music are. ALSO - the day of our event, the lead singer was unable to make it, so they sent a replacement that literally learned every single one of our songs on the way down and sung them perfectly. I didn't even know he wasn't our original planned singer until after the event was over and we got to talking with them. I mean this band MADE our night and I am so happy that we chose them.

We contracted with Diamond Empire in Sept 2019 one year before our daughters wedding in Oct 2020 and well before Covid-19 appeared and restrictions were forced in St Louis, MO requiring us to drastically change the size and scope of the wedding. Due to the restrictions we tried cancelling the band and requested a full refund due to Covid and the restrictions on venues. Nick originally said we would get the refund but then gave us the run around and told us to deal with Curtis in Oklahoma who was very difficult to deal with as well. Bottom line is that they did not refund the full amount of deposit despite Covid and our venue being reduced due to restrictions. While they may be good at playing music they are inconsiderate, non professional and not very understanding. All other wedding vendors returned 100% of our deposit and understood the Covid circumstances and change of venue. Be very careful if you sign a contract with these people as you are dealing with unscrupulous people who know nothing about customer service and business (and pandemics). We do not recommend them!

I LOVE Diamond Empire Band. I had heard them play at events and weddings before and knew I had to have them at our wedding! They were AMAZING! They took special care to make sure our first dance song was exactly the way we wanted. They read the crowd perfectly and kept the party going at the right times! The band did a fantastic job with song choice and keeping the dance floor packed - even our friends who don't normally dance were on the dance floor most of the night. We also really appreciated that Diamond Empire learned our first dance song and father-daughter and mother-son dance songs so that they could play them live at our reception. The singers were all fantastic and the band sounded great all night. We had so many people ask for the band's name and people have still been commenting about them weeks after our wedding. We could not have asked for a better experience with Diamond Empire, from the very first planning steps all the way through to our wedding. Nick was super helpful throughout the process, made sure that everything was running smoothly, and gave us some helpful tips and advice to help make our day perfect. We absolutely love this band and will highly recommend them to all our friends!

We booked diamond empire band after seeing a showcase in St. Louis. I was blown away by the versatility and flexibility of the band. Elijah and Nick were a pleasure to work with. Nick was excellent in all the pre-wedding planning and they have a website where you can upload everything which is so easy to work with. Josh was our band leader for the night and let me just tell you it was a complete hit. All of our bandmembers were so incredibly talented from the ceremony guitarist to the 5/6 person band at the reception. If you are looking for a band for your wedding, look no further. So easy to work with and was the highlight of our night.

Having a live band was key for us on our wedding day and Diamond Empire Band delivered! We went to see the band at Cyrano's in Webster Groves to see what they were all about and we had the best time. The band was entertaining and their performance was on point! We had to book them for our wedding and when it came to pricing for a 6 piece band I was floored at how affordable it was. The pre-planning website was very helpful to stay organized as I had a million song ideas. Nick was our coordinator and he answered all of my questions in a reasonable time frame and was very informative and compassionate when we spoke on the phone for our planning meeting. The wedding night was a complete success! I had made it a point to let everyone know that I was dancing the entire night and I did just that. My best friends and I could not stop because every song that was performed or chosen from our playlist was perfect! The performance was incredible and Clara really was outstanding! My friends adored her! Every band member was on point and the entire night would not have been nearly as fun without them. The last two songs I requested were Gloria (obvs) and You're Simply the Best. I am so thankful that Diamond Empire Band was able to accommodate all the requests we had and those two songs were the perfect combo to end the night! Thank you all so much for all your hard work and dedication to your art. You all are simply the best and if you are looking for a wedding band that makes your event feel like you are going to party all night long look no further because this group right here knows what they are doing!

Diamond Empire was phenomenal! I cannot say enough good things about their professionalism leading up to our event and most importantly the incredible performance at our wedding! They were easy to communicate about expectations, deadlines, pricing and preferences leading up to our wedding. They helped us plan the music for our ceremony and reception with experienced suggestions that helped the evening flow more smoothly. We had an outdoor wedding at a venue that they had never played at before. They seamlessly worked with our event coordinator to set up so that the sound was perfect and they did all of this behind the scenes, never adding any stress while we planned. Our ceremony music was beautiful. They played beautiful instrumental versions of every song we asked for. Our emcee and reception music was perfect. The emcee helped the night move along at just the right times. The band had incredible energy! We had such a great time dancing with our guests that our guests demanded an encore! A wedding is composed of so many details, both big and small. Diamond Empire helped us make those details a reality and helped make an incredible night with our family and friends that we will always cherish. I would absolutely recommend them!

PROS: -Excellent value for the price. They should charge more! -Lead singer can not only rock out, but also knows how to work a party well as the DJ. -They learned a new song specifically for our 1st dance. -Several of our guests complimented the band, and stated that it was the best reception that they have ever attended. Folks were dancing all night long! -On time and very professional w/ setup and tear down. -Allowed for a friend of ours to sing with them (she brought down the house), and they made another family member feel very special by singing her happy birthday. CONS: -Our key contact missed our scheduled call to review all the final details a couple of days before the wedding. This threw us in to a panic, but we were able to connect later on that evening. -Their accounting department took several days to cash our final payment.

We had a great experience with Diamond Empire. Their pre-wedding planning website was very professional and user-friendly. It was especially helpful for planning a wedding from out of town. We had good communication with them throughout regarding both big and small questions/issues and always got appropriate responses very quickly. We were able to have phone meetings with them (due to being out of town) in the two weeks leading up to the big day to help put the final touches on the plan. The day itself went perfectly. We had great communication during our cocktail hour preceding introductions and speeches and dances. They were familiar with our venue and had no issues with setup. They were a huge hit with all of our guests and filled the dance floor without issue. They gave us a set list from the night which was a nice touch. They learned a new song to open our dancing and incorporated several of our song suggestions. They were also able to DJ the original recordings of the songs we wanted for first dances. No concerns or issues at all, would highly recommend them!

I found the band to be very easy to work with. My association actually hired them to play at a banquet after-party, not a wedding. The manager is very communicative prior to an event, and even after. They are QUITE talented and really now how to rev up a room full of people and keep the mood high. Definitely would recommend.

From planning to playing, this band was everything! We had an untraditional wedding with two waves of guests and no seated dinner, but the band rolled with it, made it all flow seamlessly, and had the dance floor full! I highly recommend ysing their MC services; it just takes the weight off of you, and it allows the band to really get into the evening!

DEB was the BEST band!! We had so much fun going to showcases and enjoying their talent! Throughout the entire evening at our reception we had guests coming up to us left and right telling us how amazing the band was! They brought so much fun and love to the party the entire evening! I wish we could do it all over again so we could dance the night away with DEB!

DEB made our wedding! So many people told us how much fun the band was and that they had a great time. The dance floor was full the whole time, which is a combo of the awesome band and our guests being a lot of live music lovers. They played a lot of great music, and it was fun for the whole spectrum of people. My husband and I enjoyed the wedding so much, the dancing and the band being helpful with keeping us on track. Elijah was easy to work with, and helped us plan the event. Stop your search, this should be your wedding band!!

STOP. BOOK THEM. ENJOY. - Full of high energy and diverse sounds - Very professional, fun and easy to work with. You truly get to add as much or as little input as you'd like - People were constantly commenting on how great they were throughout the night - They arrived very early to set up and helped assist in all MC needs of the night, and were flexible when things changed (which they did often) - They were very aware of possible concerns and what questions to ask us beforehand.

DEB played at my wedding last weekend. One of my fears was that people not being on the dance floor having fun. After speaking and listening to a few other bands I decided to go with them...and they DELIVERED! I am not exaggerating when I say that people were dancing ALL NIGHT. They were so fun and talented! 10/10 would recommend!

Diamond Empire Band was amazing! Zakk was great to work with and the band helped make our wedding an absolute blast! Aubrey and Theo's voices were amazing and the band did a great job of keeping everyone on the dance floor throughout the night! Not only is this group of musicians incredibly talented, they're kind, energetic, and make your wedding day/event feel so special. Curtis organized our day and paid attention to each and every detail. We were able to customize everything we wanted from the ceremony music, to the first dance, and what kind of music we wanted playing on our iPhone playlist when the band was on break. The price was very reasonable for the quality of talent and professionalism you get in return! Thank you, DEB for such a great night!

DEB was great! Elijah was easy to work with leading up to the big day and very thorough. The day of the band was so accommodating about whatever they wanted. They had the timing of all our music right and sounded great. They were also affordable, which was really helpful as we really wanted a live band.

Hiring DEB was my easiest decision in the wedding planning process! I scoped them out at their live showcase and instantly knew they had to be at our wedding. My husband is a musician so we had to have great talent! They performed at our cocktail hour, dinner & reception. Keeping the dance floor full was very important to me, and they did just that. Great mix of genres, read the crowd well, and are very talented - got lots of compliments from our guests who loved dancing the night away to this band. **Special shout out to Andy who performed an amazing acoustic set for our cocktail hour, so good!
