Dino BBQ was the PERFECT catering company for our 250 plus outdoor wedding. We got the trifecta package and chose to have BBQ chicken, Ribs and Portobello mushrooms as well as mac and cheese, baked beans and cucumber tomato salad. With this menu, were were able to cater to our vegetarian guests as well without creating a separate menu. The Dino on-site BBQ pit came to our wedding location right on time and served all our guests in a timely order. We paid for trash removal so we had less to clean up at our DIY wedding, and it was only $100! So worth it. The catering manager was clear and responsive and awesome to work with and everyone raved about how delicious the food was. Also, our wedding wasn't casual, it was somewhat fancy and we were unsure if having BBQ and using disposable plates would take away from the ambiance, but it didn't at all. Everyone loved it!

We used the DIno BBQ Troy location to cater our wedding but I don't see a specific page for them so leaving this here. Our wedding food was SUCH a hit with our guests! We got sooo many compliments for having a fun BBQ menu that was delicious. We were already fans of dinosaur BBQ, so it was an easy sell for us, but we were pleasantly surprised at how professional and easy they were to work with. We didn't experience a single issue at any point, and we had tons of yummy leftovers to give to family and take home! Highly recommend these guys

We had Dinosaur cater our 80 person wedding in Cazenovia. The food was very good - we had brisket and bone-in chicken, salt potatoes, baked beans, and orzo salad. I added a chopped salad for an extra fee, as I felt the veggie options were lacking. Service wise, things were subpar. We only had two staff people, when three were scheduled. The catering manager told me there was a no show, but I feel that is not a valid excuse. They should have called someone else in. My wedding coordinator told me the two staff who were there seemed disorganized and unsure of how things should work. I expected more professionalism and trained staff for an event like this. They had a hard time keeping up with clearing and stacking dishes, too - no doubt because of the lack of a third person. Overall, great brisket and chicken with okay sides, and mediocre service. Price per person ended up being about $24 and we had PLENTY left over.

My husband and I were disappointed with the quality of service provided, especially by the catering coordinators. We had this vendor cater for approximately 225 people. From the very beginning (after the security deposit was left), it was very difficult to schedule a tasting and waited over one month to receive a reply email. We were jumbled back and forth between the two coordinators, and had to work around their schedules more so than the other way around. We initially booked them because we love the food, but we had a lot of complaints about the chicken and the salmon was watery / almost slimy. When we were finally able to get in for our tasting (we both had to leave work early to accommodate the tasting time), we had to purchase our own wine from the bar while tasting in light of our anticipated 10k catering contract. My wedding coordinator tried many times to get into contact with them and was not successful, which ended up with the bride making frantic calls the day off to ensure they were on their way to the reception location. While the food may be good, quality of service right from the beginning felt unprofessional.
