Dave is professional, knowledgable, and knew just the right music to play at any given moment. Our dance floor was packed the entire night and we received multiple inquiries/compliments about how incredible Dave was!

DJ Hypnotyza (Mark Raich) and DJ Digital Dave truly were amazing to work with- from the beginning, Dave was super communicative and responsive, connecting us with Mark early on and checking in frequently throughout the process. He also did the lighting at our venue and took that off our plate for us. Now the party….. Mark knows how to keep a dance floor bumpin ALL NIGHT LONG. He exceeded our expectations and played banger after banger, one of our guests literally herniated a disc on the dance floor!!! He’s a genuine and earnest dude and knows everything about music and throwing a party that you’d want him to. We are thrilled we chose to work with DJ Digital Dave for our wedding. He really exceeded our expectations. Two weeks before the wedding, I had submitted to Dave his easy to follow questionnaire packet of requests, timeline, playlists, etc. Not only did he configure amazing playlists for cocktail hour and dinner music based on my requests, but he kept the dance floor PACKED the entire night. We received so many compliments from our guests on how incredible the music was the entire night. Not to mention Dave sets up lights that also go with the songs- it added a really cool look to our dance floor photos! We are so thankful for Dave, he completed our wedding reception!

DJ Digital Dave is truly the best of the best! From the second the dance floor was opened at our wedding, it was PACKED! And no one left the dance floor until the reception was over 4 hours later. Our family is still talking about our amazing DJ even days later! He is great to work with, and was one of the highlights of our day, and I could not recommend him enough!

Dave is a persioanl friend and my wedding wasn't typical, so this review is more about his ability to do whatever you request. We got married in Cape May, NJ and I asked Dave if here would be willing to travel to do our wedding. I was very happy he was becasue I would rather pay him than some person in Cape May that I never met, and also knowing Dave would be able to accomplish the requests on a non-traditional wedding. Our main thing was we did not want any "wedding" music and wanted nothing about our wedding to be typical. Dave emailed me a wedding sheet that basically walks you through the whole process of the wedding. A lot of the items we crossed out since we weren't doing a typical wedding, but it gave us an idea of how the flow would go. We had a phone call becuse since we were not doing the typical things and I wanted his input on when and how to do the items we wanted. His advice was great and made the evening flow perfectly. His ability to adapt music to the age and size of the group is his stroggest asset. I highly reccommened using him if you also do not what the typical cliche' wedding music and want your guests to tell everyone yours was the best wedding they've ever attended.

DJ Digital Dave was absolutely amazing! No one left the dance floor! His transitions between songs were smooth and his creative music choices from all generations to have a fantastic time! He was also great on the microphone for any announcements and helping keep our day on-time and organized! We highly recommend DJ Digital Dave!

Dave was our wedding DJ and he was absolutely the best wedding DJ I have ever heard! He seamlessly transitioned between songs and played just enough of each track so that the crowd was satisfied and never got bored. At one point he transitioned to Doja Cat (I think?) from a Turkish line dance, which was so impressive and unexpected haha. We got so many compliments and had so much fun dancing the night away at our wedding. I highly recommend him. He is organized, communicative, and very talented. We wanted our wedding to feel like a party and Dave made it the best party ever. Have you ever been to a wedding where the entire crowd is on the dance floor shouting “encore” for one more song? Me either…until the night of our wedding. We wish we could relive this night over and over again!!!

Everyone says that their wedding DJ is the best, but ours truly was. From the ceremony to cocktail our to reception, Dave knew exactly what to play for each occasion. He kept the energy high throughout the enter event. We threw in a couple last minute adjustments to the plan, which Dave handled beautifully. DJ Digital Dave is phenomenal! I love to dance but was worried that having a small wedding of only about 60 people would limit the dance floor. He had everyone dancing for four hours straight! Couldn’t have asked for more - to say he is a “vibe curator” is an understatement!! Do not hesitate as he will make your wedding unforgettable!

DJ Digital Dave is a legend! His talent and knowledge of the industry is unmatched and working with him was worth every penny. He had people dancing before the official "after dinner dancing" even started. His high energy and ability to keep our guests dancing allowed us to completely bypass spending our whole wedding greeting tables becasue everyone was on the dance floor (hands down the best wedding gift I could have ever asked for).

He did a great job with the introductions (nailing some difficult names), speeches, keeping the night going, and of course ran the dancefloor to perfection. We gave a few must-plays (and a few no-plays) and left the rest to him. Guests were able to get their requests played, and the party was jamming! Dave is truly the best DJ in Pittsburgh!! My husband and I heard him DJ for the first time at the casino and immediately knew we had to ask him about being the DJ for our wedding- we met with him soon after and made the easy decision to hire him for our wedding! Our wedding was held on August 29, 2021 after being postponed multiple times due to COVID and Dave was extremely understanding and accommodating throughout the entire process. We feel so lucky to have found him- he is very talented and everyone at our wedding couldn’t stop talking about how great he was! He picked the perfect music for throughout cocktail hour and dinner and most importantly, kept the dancing and party going for the entire reception. DJ Digital Dave came highly recommended to us and I could not be happier that we went with him. We hired him for our cocktail hour / ceremony / reception and after party. My wife and I hired Dave to DJ our wedding reception (and provide music during cocktail hour and dinner) and could not be happier with our decision to do so. Our initial conversation with Dave was awesome, talking about our vision for the event, some minor logistical things, and style. Dave has an awesome catalog of mixes he's done to give you a feel for what it would be like, and we were blown away by his mixing ability and song selection. He gave us a prep sheet to share the order of our events (speeches, special dances, etc.) and songs we DEFINITELY want to hear and DEFINITELY don't. Dave's professionalism and curation was incredible, he always hit the right tone at the right time and really took our guests into consideration when playing the next song. We've heard from countless guests that our "DJ was incredible" and "people went to the dancefloor and never left" which was our hope. We're already trying to think of ways to have another event and bring Dave in to perform. 10/10 would recommend!

THE BEST EVER! MIND READER OF MUSIC. First off - I had been planning a wedding with DJ Dave since 2019, then Covid hit. He was more than willing to work with me throughout the several date changes with ease. After almost 3 years of planning and bragging to my friends and family about how I hired the best DJ ever, our day was finally here. DJ DIGITAL DAVE DID NOT DISAPPOINT WHATSOEVER. He was able to MC our dinner/reception flawlessly (which was on an entirely different floor than our dance floor), then once our dinner ended, he was ready to go on the dance floor. He played the songs I requested and did not play my "do not play songs/genre!". The dance floor was MOVING from start to finish. Dozens of guests commented on how SPOT ON the DJ was. I did not want the night to end! When I found out DJ Dave was heading to Cavo immediately after the wedding, we HAD to go, so we did! If we were to do this again.. without a doubt, DJ DIGITAL DAVE would be there!

Music at a wedding either makes or breaks it in my opinion. People remember how much fun they had, not what color tablecloths there were. If you want to guarantee a full dance floor the entire night without having to worry about a thing, Digital Dave is your guy! The only thing I had to contribute was a list of about 30 songs to give him an idea of our taste/ what we wanted the vibe to be and he was able to figure out the rest. He is great at reading the room and is so crafty at blending songs together to keep the energy high. My family was worried about not having a live band but with Dave you really don't need it. There's nothing worse than suffering through a 4 minute song that no one knows or drags the energy down. Hire Dave and that will absolutely not happen. Seats were empty and suits were sweaty. That's all you really need to know!

SERIOUSLY don't wait --book Dave!!! He is extremely professional and made our day absolutely perfect. He is first class all the way! Not to mention, our dance floor was PACKED. We even attended 2 weddings after ours where the bride and groom came up to us and said "we had so much fun at your wedding..your dj was phenomenal" -- at their own wedding! 3 of our friends have booked Dave for 2022 and early 2023 and I can't wait to attend. DJ Dave is the BEST in the biz! He DJ'ed our wedding on January 8, 2022 and he kept the night moving from cocktail hour to dinner to dancing. Dave's process is extremely thorough and he met with us multiple times to discuss everything. He also met with us at our venue to try out the uplighting. We went with several of his uplights - they completed the room. Our #1 compliment from our guests was how amazing our DJ was - he played absolutely everything and everyone from age 2 - 80 was on the dance floor. I would recommend him hands down!

Both Mark and DJ Digital Dave were extremely easy to work with throughout the entire process and their attention to detail gave us a high level of comfort that they were the right fit for us. DJ Digital Dave did a marvelous job with our dinner and dance music! We had super specific requests for walking in music, which he did perfectly. We gave him very little direction for dinner & dance, and he played everything we would have wanted and kept our guests dancing and enjoying themselves all night long with great music and smooth song transitions. He was even able to pull up a song on the fly that had been quoted in the bridesmaids’ speech to play as they finished talking, which was a simple touch but really impressed us. He was also really great on the microphone with announcements. Kept things brief and professional. We’re so glad we were able to work with him for our wedding!

Everyone danced ALL NIGHT at both weddings and our friends and family have continued to rave about how great DJ Dave was. Our wedding was in Pittsburgh, but he will travel. We just can't rave about him enough. We wanted to have a great party and DJ Dave brought that to life!! You just can't leave the dance floor when DJ Dave is in charge. Absolutely amazing.

DJ Dave is the best wedding DJ we have ever dance to or experienced. We have been to countless weddings. If you want someone that can read the dance floor, play straight fire for a 6 hour dance set (yes we danced that long at our wedding and he nailed every second of it). He can read a crowd, mix old with new and just all around make everyone have a fantastic time. Super nice, professional and very accommodating. He even got our first dance song made into a file for us since it was only on YouTube as the artist hasn't released it yet. Hire him for your wedding, if you don't you're dumb! THE BEST!

DJ Digital Dave did such a great job for our wedding! We really wanted to make sure we had a fun dance party, and then with the pandemic, wearing masks and distancing, we weren't really sure that was going to be able to happen. But we absolutely ended up with a great dance party because of Digital Dave. DJ Digital Dave did an awesome job for our wedding at Hotel Monaco in Pittsburgh. We had a pretty good idea for our timeline and list of songs we wanted, but he really helped us organize everything perfectly and kept the night running smoothly. Dave was very easy to work with and we appreciated how he mixed the songs we had chosen while reading the room for others, all while intertwining genre's and artists that kept our guests very entertained. He tied songs together in a way that really made us appreciate his skills. We also had a couple non traditional mixes for our entrance songs which he was able to use without any issue. DJ Digitial Dave was one of our very first vendors we booked and we were so happy and pleased with him as our DJ for our wedding. He's by far one of the best DJ's I've ever come across. He was all around amazing and our wedding wouldn't have been what it was without him. He is very professional and super talented to say the least. He was so easy to work with and got exactly what music we liked. We got so many compliments on how much people liked the music and had such a fun time. Our black and white patterned vinyl dance floor got a lot of use that night because of him. One thing I do regret is ending our reception at 11pm as I wish we could have extended it to 11:30pm so we could dance more. This was our choice to end at 11pm and no one else's but had I known I would have extended it a bit more. I didn't want the night of fun to end! My husband and I would highly recommend him! Guests always remember the food and music and this holds true. He will make your wedding and guests will be talking about how much fun they had for years to come.

Dave is the nicest human and the BEST DJ!! We had a crazy wedding day (I won’t get into that) but the way Dave handles it was AMAZING. I could easily see another DJ freaking out and having a melt down over what had happened but Dave was so kind, professional and on top of it. To the point were are guests were telling us how amazing and nice he was and that was just his personality!! Dave as a DJ is killer! He keeps everyone on the dance floor having the time of their lives! He DJs clubs in the city and Pitt football games so he’s not just some dude with a laptop and speakers. He’s an actual professional!!! I recommend Dave to EVERYONE!! But you have to book him first thing because he books out quickly!!!

Picking a DJ for the wedding was one of the most stressful experiences I could ever imagine. I wanted All of our guests to be entertained enjoy the wedding as much as all of our guests to be entertained enjoy the wedding as much as possible possible. If you want a truly unique DJ who shatters the idea of a “wedding DJ” look no further than Digital Dave!! From the start I had a very specific idea of what I wanted my wedding DJ to be like. I couldn’t stand your traditional wedding DJ...when I thought of one I thought of a cheesy old dude with no clue about popular music and how to mix. I knew I wanted it to feel like you were at a nightclub at my wedding. Basically any song I’d ever heard at a wedding before..I didn’t want at my wedding! And let me tell you Dave understood this PERFECTLY. We really bonded over our understanding for fun, upbeat, music. Dave has extensive experience DJing in the nightclub scene in Pgh and across the country so I knew he was my perfect fit. During my planning process Dave was very quick and responsive to my many long emails. He always responded with well thought out answers, which showed me he truly cared about what I was saying, and wanted to offer his help. We had a great in person meeting before the wedding to discuss our vision. The day of the wedding, Dave was 100% professional and accommodating. He came ready to work! He made sure to check in with me, my husband, and my other bridal party members and family to make sure everything was in line, and checked out. Which was so nice of him, and made me feel even more at ease. Our bridal party came out to “Whoomp There It Is” by Tag Team, and my husband and I made our grand entrance to “Where The Hood At” by DMX...and Dave KILLED IT! He was so down to work with the sound that we wanted for our “play list” and it was just awesome. I’d recommend Dave over and over again to anyone who dies at the thought of your average wedding DJ...he’s leaps and bounds above the rest and your wedding will show for it! Dave did an awesome job at our wedding. We had a lot of DIY elements, and we relied on Dave to keep the flow going from guest seating before the ceremony to the end of the reception. We had a long list of song requests for the dance portion of the evening, and Dave did an amazing job weaving together the perfect playlist with the stuff we love and some songs inspired by my fiance's love of 90's rock--songs we didn't pick but were perfect! Dave also kept all of our reception activities moving along--from speeches to dances to desserts and signing the guest book, Dave was an MC when we needed him earlier in the night and focused on keeping the dance floor packed later in the evening. We were a little anxious leading up to the wedding, because he missed our scheduled call and took a little extra communication to get in touch. We did have a call a few days before the wedding, though, to go over everything and felt assured after that. Dave is obviously an in-demand DJ who is great at what he does. We highly recommend him, and we can't thank him enough for helping us throw the perfect wedding!

After a couple recommendations from family & friends, we decided to listen and book Dave for our June 2019 wedding in Pittsburgh. Dave was an awesome DJ! For our ceremony, we walked out to a violin cover. His sound system was so clear that it literally sounded like there was a violinist live there playing the song. During the planning process, he was always quick to respond to my emails and answer any questions. I had a specific vibe of music I wanted played during cocktail hour & dinner service. The playlist he put together went above & beyond my expectations. During the reception, he would transition songs in such a cool, smooth way that I didn't know was even possible. We still have people telling us that he played the best music they’ve ever heard at a wedding. You can tell he has a real passion for creating fun and exhilarating experiences through music. Despite being a busy guy, he was always responsive to any messages, always willing to chat over the phone or set up a meeting. Though, to be honest, we really didn’t need to do too much pre-planning with him because we just trusted that he would do his thing. Dave has a gift for reading the room and commanding the energy flow. He is a club DJ, so he mixes one song right into the next. As a result, our dance floor was NEVER empty. It was to the point where people didn’t want to leave because they didn’t want to miss out on the next song! Even Grammy was grooving on the dance floor. My husband and I also feel like Dave fully understood us and the vibe we wanted to create, just based on our Must Play songs and our conversations. We have a pretty eclectic taste in music ranging from typical pop guilty pleasures to Motown to new wave to classic rock. Dave SEAMLESSLY mixed all of these genres together and more. No awkward pauses, just moments of pure joy to the next. We really got the impression he was having just as much as fun as our guests! When you have a DJ that flawlessly transitions from Carly Rae Jepson’s “Call Me Maybe” to Annie Lennox’s “Walking on Broken Glass” AND manages to sprinkle in The Clash, The Smiths, Biggie, and WU-TANG throughout the night, you’ve found yourself a winner.

Digital Dave was absolutely AMAZING.......AGAIN!!! He has provided fantastic music and MC skills at both of my daughters weddings! We loved him so much the first time we had to have him again! Dave was absolutely amazing at our wedding! He DJ'd a wedding we went to last year so we kept him in mind for our own wedding. My husband and I are very into music and we love to dance, so we chose someone who would keep people on the dance floor all night, and WOW did he do just that. There were people on the dance floor during the entire reception, and before it was even over we received compliments about how great the DJ was. Dave even played music that we sent to him from our grandfathers' polka bands. It was such a nice touch to our day and he was so willing to make it happen. I could go on all day. Dave is so kind and easy to work with. He understood what we wanted our reception to look and feel like and he made it come to life. Our day would not have been the same with any other DJ!

ABSOLUTE BEST!!! DJ Digitial Dave always kept the guest on the dance floor. He met with us before the wedding and was very accommodating on our song choices. He is very nice and very professional! Highly recommend if you and your guest are looking to have an amazing time!
