DJ Kahn was wonderful to work with. From our initial meeting, we felt that he was a good fit - someone who really cared about what we wanted, experienced and enjoys weddings, and easy to communicate with. He cared about the details too - making sure to pronounce names correctly and ensuring we had all the equipment necessary throughout the day. He made all the necessary announcements and stuck to the script, providing exactly what we expected from a DJ. The music and audio for the ceremony was exactly as we discussed and was seamless. We provided DJ Kahn with some sample playlists for music and the music throughout the night was sublime - every choice from cocktail hour to dinner to dancing was perfect. During and after the wedding, we had several guests specifically mention how amazing the DJ was! I highly recommend DJ Kahn if you're looking for an experienced DJ for your wedding - he's a true professional and hope he has the chance to make your wedding as amazing as ours was!

We loved working with DJ KAHN! He was extremely professional throughout the whole planning process. We provided him with a very lengthy music worksheet with our preferred music and do not plays, and he had clearly read through the entire worksheet and came prepared to discuss the worksheet with us in our final meeting. DJ Kahn played music for our guest arrival, ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing, and he absolutely killed it for each! He understood the right vibe for each moment, and our guests are still raving about the music. It was a magical night, and we couldn't have done it without him!! You are in good hands if you hire DJ KAHN!

We had several of our wedding guests throughout the wedding and the week after specifically compliment and applaud the music. Kahn did an amazing job throughout the night and got the exact vibes we wanted. His live mixing made it so special and cool. Our dance floor was FULL and our guests were totally jamming. Kahn was wonderful to work with leading up to our wedding and on the day - we felt like we were in very good hands. He definitely understood the tone we wanted throughout different phases of the night from ceremony to the last song and he NAILED it. We highly highly recommend Kahn.

I found DJ Kahn by happenstance on wedding sites, and it's clear why! If you think music doesn't matter too much at a wedding and you think playing songs off a playlist may be what you want to do--let me try to convince you why you shouldn't do that...from someone who was going to just play a playlist herself! 1. You don't want to worry about this day-of. Trust me, you're going to have enough to do--a microphone, music starting at the perfect moment, managing the audio for the entire event--girl you dont want that. DJ Kahn said 'don't worry about a single thing' even reaching out to the officiant himself to handle audio/mic needs. And sure enough, everything was handled and i didnt even think about music again for the entire wedding planning process. 2. I cannot say this for all DJs i've experienced--this only pertains to DJ Kahn and is something unique to him I think....he is actually mixing music together...when a song is close to ending, the beat from the next song is mixed into the song in a really clever way, giving folks a hint as to what song is about to come. The few moments at the end of one song and the beginning of a new one, where everyone looked at each other guessing what was about to play next were some of the best of the night. It was such a small detail that completely elevated the music of the night. Songs never overstayed their welcome, he knew just when to transition to the next. 3. You think you know the songs that will get people dancing, and trust me you don't. DJ Kahn doesnt play bad songs. If he does, it's cause you requested it ;) all his songs were amazing, he included our list and then added similar and even better songs into the fold. Songs that all generations loved--and thats coming from someone who admittedly is not a fan of older generation music, which he took into account. He even played a really wacky song we requested near the end of the night, and a pop-punk session an hour before the end. Chef's kiss! 4. DJ Kahn reads the room very well. I could tell people were hungry and slowing down, and right at the end of that song DJ kahn had transitioned to slower wind-down music to signal folks to sit down and eat. Your playlist can't do that ;) And most of all--DJ Kahn is very sweet. He's probably the nicest and kindest vendor you'll work with, even though during the wedding you talk to each other the least. You will 100% not regret your investment into music with him.

Constantine (DJ Kahn) was the best DJ I've danced to at a wedding, and my friends and family members of all ages agree. We had multiple people tell us that they typically don't dance at weddings, but couldn't help themselves given the playlist. He also was a perfect MC for the night – he knew exactly how and when to introduce the wedding party and draw attention to the dance floor throughout the evening. He was super easy to work with leading up to the event. He met with us by Zoom prior to the wedding to talk about our vision for the evening, and he even helped us figure out details for our first dance and playlist. BOOK DJ KAHN FOR YOUR WEDDING!

DJ Kahn is hands down the best DJ myself or any of our wedding guests have ever experienced! If you are looking for a wedding DJ and you are so lucky that he has your date available, do yourself a favor and book him ASAP! I cannot tell you how many compliments we received from our guests about how spectacular DJ Kahn was. Seriously, he is amazing and he had everyone dancing for the entire night. Constantine is extremely professional, warm, flexible, and eager to help you craft your vision for wedding entertainment. His passion for music is very clear, and we appreciated how thoughtful he was in asking for our music tastes and providing recommendations when needed. DJ Kahn is a true artist - his mixes on the dance floor were incredible, and they set the tone for an amazing evening. He is also super thoughtful on the smaller things - like reaching out to our officiant before the wedding to go over mic check and questions, providing feedback on the order of speeches, first dances, etc. to help the wedding run smoothly, and making sure all of the audio was perfect in volume and tone. I cannot recommend DJ Kahn more highly!

We are so happy we hired Con to DJ our wedding! Having a great time dancing and having amazing music were one of the most important things to us for our wedding. We had seen him DJ our friends' wedding a couple years ago, and the dance floor was amazing all night. When we talked to hinm, we knew within minutes that he was the right DJ for us! Con was so easy to work with. We were planning a wedding in just under 3 months (after many pandemic-related cancellations/postponements) and we were so happy we got to work with Con. He's kind, listens to you, is very thoughtful, and went out of his way to make sure our day was amazing. Music really sets the tone and the energy, and Con made sure the energy was just what we hoped it would be. We loved every song that was played, and he timed the ceremony music - which was really important to us - perfectly. We truly had the best night ever. Hire DJ Kahn!!!

DJ Kahn is awesome. He is responsive, professional, thorough, and thoughtful. From the moment we first spoke, I felt that he understood what we envisioned for our wedding. Our main goal was to make sure our guests danced throughout the night and that everyone felt included. Our families are Ukrainian and Dominican, so it was important to us to make sure those cultures were also represented in the music we played. DJ Kahn really executed on our vision. The dance floor was packed, and we had a great time. Some of our friends have even asked for the playlist after the fact, which I think is a sign of a job well done. And importantly, DJ Kahn's pricing is super reasonable, especially given the quality of his work and his attention to detail. Hire him!

He was very receptive to the type of music that we wanted to play at the wedding, and was able to read the crowd well. He kept the hits coming the whole time! He was also very responsive to emails, I always got a response immediately, which was very important in a vendor to me.

I found Con through 74 Events and worked with him and Gary. Working with Gary and Con was one of the most pleasant and easy experiences of our wedding planning process. Their approach is exactly what I was looking for - no cheesy, over-the-top theatrics - just great music with minimal announcing when necessary. Gary and Con were super helpful in developing and sticking to a timeline during the reception which is above and beyond what I'd expect from a DJ company. They also offered suggestions for certain aspects of the reception that my husband and I did not have much experience in! Con was fantastic the day of the wedding and everything went so smoothly. Me and my guests were dancing up until the very last song. Our wedding was very eclectic in that my side of the family is Jewish, my husband's family is Persian, and we had a large older crowd as well as younger people. Con made sure to cater to everyone and the dancefloor was popping the whole night! Thank you Con for making our wedding such a fun and memorable night!

DJ Kahn is amazing! We are so happy we went with him. He worked closely with us on the playlist for the wedding. He is very thorough, professional and organized, sometimes moreso than we were haha. He is so easy to work with and was able to give us the dance party we had envisioned for our friends. Guests danced until the last song, we even got him to sneak him one more song after (as the venue was trying to move us along). We got so many compliments on DJ Kahn’s music selection and mixing style so much that my cousin wants our playlist! We are extremely grateful we went with DJ Kahn, you will have no regrets if you go with him!

DJ Kahn was awesome!! he kept everyone dancing all night. guest were raving about his djing. He's def got skills and is very experienced in the wedding department. We had such a great time and it was because of kahn. Con was amazing at our wedding. He played everything we had hoped and mixed in many great choices. Perfectly blended our requested songs/genres for the best timing. Incorporation of requested very specific cultural music worked out awesome. Dance floor was packed all night. Another major factor for us was the speaking - Con added no unnecessary ‘corny DJ’ speak - just let the music do the talking. But for the required speaking such as wedding party introductions he did a great job with the perfect amount of sincerity and excitement without over doing it. Took his time in meeting with us getting all the name pronounciations correct. Con was great to work with and a super pleasant and easy going, and an ultimate professional. We would highly recommend hiring Con!

DJ Khan is hands down the best! Sweet, low maintenance, flexible, reasonable, responsible and incredibly responsive. You can tell that he loves what he does, and he is just so easy to work with. He brought the right tone to each part of our night, from guest arrival to cocktail hour to dancing, and was able to get everyone up and dancing - kids, grandmas and grandpas, everyone! Highly highly recommend to anyone for any occasion.

DJ Kahn was an incredible asset to our wedding day. His ability to read a room and the respectful way in which he incorporated our style of music into the day was seamless. My husband and I can't stop raving about him!

We worked with DJ Kahn for our wedding on 9/23/17 and he was really, really good. We received lots of praise about him, from friends who were already married, from friends of ours who DJ and from family. We did not book him through 74 Events, rather we found him separately. We met with him at a Starbucks for our initial meeting and he described the services he offers. After the contract being signed, the next thing to do was to fill out a questionnaire about the wedding, our music tastes, must plays, and ceremony music. Our final meeting with him got pushed back a bit because of our schedules kept having something pop up, but he was flexible enough to do it via Skype. That call was great as he helped to make some suggestions about the transitions during the reception that really helped to improve the flow of our wedding. And he did a great job with mixing the music, of course. I was so happy with with our choice of DJ Kahn

I hired DJ Kahn through 74 Events and he was absolutely amazing to work with! I'm actually part of the wedding industry (a wedding planner) and have seen my fair share of DJs but DJ Kahn is by far the best! He knows exactly what he is doing and actually helped keep everything flowing smoothly throughout the night which is huge since most DJs only pay attention to some aspects. Now onto the music....my fiance and I kept blanking whenever we tried to make a song list. Our favorite songs would never come to mind! So I felt terrible since we didn't give DJ Kahn much to go on for artists we like or songs that had to be played. During our final meeting, he asked all the right questions to help us remember some additional songs and artists we like as well as some things to stay away from. Then on the wedding day, every single song was perfect!! He played amazing "throwback" songs from the late 90's and early 2000's (when we first started dating) and all of our friends loved it! You never get to hear some of those songs any more and they are amazing. For weeks I've heard how amazing the DJ was and how awesome it was to hear those songs. Our dance floor was always packed, even with friends and family members we haven't seen dance at other weddings! On top of that, DJ Kahn knew exactly when to start playing certain songs and dealt with the many song requests that came his way graciously. When I was bombarded by some people to play a song I went to talk to him and he knew immediately I wasn't into it, so he gave a great excuse that the song wouldn't be good to play at that moment since we were about to do cake cutting and then would be playing more dance music again. It was the perfect thing to say because my guests immediately forgot and then I didn't have to hear the song. To summarize, DJ Kahn was absolutely flawless, look no further for your DJ!!

DJ Kahn is fantastic! From our very first meeting with Kahn, he was incredibly professional and made us feel so comfortable and excited about working with him. The guests of our wedding are still talking about how fabulous he was, what a great selection of music he played and how well he read the crowd. Our guests danced the entire night and basically had to be forced off the dance floor! I had people during my wedding and after asking for his information, and another vendor even told me he was upset he had already booked a DJ for his upcoming wedding because Kahn was that good. My husband and I could not be happier with how the night went and would highly recommend Kahn to anyone looking for a DJ for there wedding.

We thought Con was terrific. We could see that he shared our own fairly old-school taste in rock, hip-hop and R&B, which made things very easy for us. He stuck very close to our various lists (cocktail hour; "do-not-play"), and at times during the evening when we had nothing in particular specified, he filled in the gaps pretty flawlessly. We were surprised at times to hear favorite songs that we hadn't even thought to request. Our wedding was 115 people in an old social club in Brooklyn, and it had an informal, mid-Century vibe, more "Mad Men" than formal. Definitely not black tie. Con's music selections fit the atmosphere of the wedding and the club perfectly, and he definitely got people dancing. Our collaboration process was fun, thorough, and very easy. We filled out a long questionnaire from 74 Events and sent it to Con a few months before the wedding. About three weeks before the wedding we met for an hour with Con and Gary Hoffman at 74 Events to discuss the upcoming evening and nail down he answers to the handful of questions we all had for each other. Our ceremony involved a long processional set to a particular piece of music, and specific things that had to happen at specific times. Con paid very close attention to the times, signaling our wedding planner at the right moments, and the whole processional and ceremony went off perfectly--with no rehearsal. So Con's great to work with. On top of that, he's a very friendly fellow personally, and we thought 74 Events were highly professional and a good value. He'll be as visible and vocal as you like; he can be a speaking MC making announcements, or virtually silent--whatever you ask him to do. When we first met Con, he gave us several CDs he put together as take-home listening. One or two of them should be enough to give you a good idea of what he likes himself. His musical taste covers a pretty broad spectrum, and it isn't the slightest bit cheesy. You'd of course have all the say you wanted in what he'd play (and NOT play) at your wedding, but the fact that we liked his work and liked him personally sold us. We would recommend Con extremely highly. If we had to do the whole thing over, we'd hire him again. The only thing we'd change is that we'd make sure the wedding was six hours long instead of five, and hire Con for another hour.

Constantine was the best DJ that fit our style perfectly. He was kind and easy to work with. He accommodated us the whole way through! Down to last couple of days! He had everybody on the dance simply because he can play music really well. Not one guest needed him to persuade them to get up and dance! He isn't over the top which was exactly what we wanted! I would recommend him to any bride that wants great music played at their wedding!

I actually reviewed 74 Events already, so my review may be a bit repetitious. We booked DJ Kahn through 74 Events. While we met DJ Kahn in the beginning, most of our communications were with Gary from 74 Events. DJ Kahn got involved closer to the wedding, which was completely fine. Once DJ Kahn did get involved, he would immediately respond to our emails. He was also very accommodating to our many requests -- we made a list of over 300 songs to be played, which included a number of different genres: punk, hip hop, and Bollywood, to name a few. He was so open to all of our suggestions and worked with us to make sure all of our music was included on the list. He also gracefully handled a few surprises at our wedding -- our friends and family put together a flash mob and a homemade movie for us, and he helped us with any and all tech issues. I only have a few criticisms: (1) The sound in our space was tricky due to very high ceilings, and we wish he did a better job of doing a sound check because there was some trouble hearing the speeches during our ceremony and reception; (2) Apparently he played our "first dance" when we weren't even in the room. This would obviously be a huge problem, but we actually asked DJ Kahn to downplay our first dance, as we did not want a huge announcement about it and just wanted to slip onto the dance floor. He knew it wasn't a high priority on our list, and I think he would have been more attentive to it had I emphasized it more. (3) We felt like he didn't play enough Bollywood music. We have a mixed crowd and we did want him to mix the different types of music more, but all in all it wasn't a big deal. All in all, we were really satisfied with DJ Kahn. He wasn't a traditional "cheesy" DJ with laser light shows and ridiculous games. We felt he had an important role at the wedding, without taking away any focus from us and our guests. He was so nice, professional and calm, and we definitely recommend him to any bride and groom who want a good DJ without all of the nonsense. As for the criticisms listed, only the first one was significant, and it is an issue pretty unique to our venue. Also, as for the cost, our fee was split between DJ Kahn and 74 Events, so the "more than $1000" answer applies to both of them.

Constantine was the most attentive and on the ball wedding vendor we worked with. He always called me before I had to call him and was a BREEZE to work with. He granted every single request we made and put on a flawless performance. Guests were dancing that I've never seen dance before and my groom and I got down like it was nobodies business. He also played the music at our ceremony, do not hire harpists, use Kahn. I could not be happier with his services, he's not only an amazing DJ but a truly great person.
