We booked our DJ two years in advance. After unforeseen circumstances the DJ had to cancel last minute. Mark saved the day 10 days before the wedding. He made it a point to learn what we wanted fast. We met in person, had phone calls, and text messages to make sure everything was set. Day of dance floor was packed the whole time. Everyone raved about the music how it appeased the whole crowd. My husband and I recently got married 7/26/2024 and had Mark as our Dj. I could not recommend Mark enough! From the beginning he was so helpful and easy to communicate with. Leading up to the day he checked in multiple times ensuring he had every detail, name, etc. correct. The day of the wedding everything went perfect. He did such an amazing job with the song choices, our guest danced from the second the dance floor opened until the last song. Since the wedding we have had so many compliments on our dj and how great he was! If you’re looking for a wedding dj I highly recommend Mark!

Mark did an outstanding job at our wedding. From the first time speaking to him on the phone a year ago right up to the time we got on the shuttle at the end of the night Mark always communicated and was professional. He took our music notes and personalities and ran with them. He kept it going the entire night and we could not be happier with him. Mark was such a great DJ at our wedding and I couldn’t recommend him more! He was so easy to work with but still so organized and on top of every single detail. He did our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception for our wedding and did an amazing job. He really takes the time to get to know you and what you are looking for on your wedding day. I was worried about finding a DJ that could incorporate some traditional Albanian music into our wedding but Mark made it all seamless. To all the couples out there planning mixed culture weddings - don’t hesitate to go with Mark! He was communicative, met with us in person before the wedding to explain the whole process, and made sure to pronounce all the names correctly when it came time to announcing the speeches. It’s a small detail that really mattered to me. Oh and he wore a nice suit, which I think shows that he cares about his job and how he presents himself to wedding guests. Our guests had a blast dancing to the American & the Albanian songs and we loved having him as our DJ, highly recommend!

Mark was incredible start to finish! He worked with us for our ceremony music and reception music. He was so helpful with picking ceremony music and when to cut a song for some special dances. Week of the big day he had final call with us about everything and made us feel confident that he was going to do a great job and eased our nerves! The big day, Mark was INCREDIBLE. DJ Mark was PHENOMENAL! I cannot write enough positive reviews about his services! Mark was recommended through a family friend that had Mark as their DJ, as well as 2 other family weddings, and we booked him without meeting or hearing his work. Mark took the time to meet with Mike and I prior to the wedding to chat about how everything would work, he listened to our song requests/likes, and the dance floor was full the entire night. He worked so well with the band we had playing for 2 hours during the night as well and reached out to the band to discuss sets and make sure that songs were not repeated. Again, I could go on and on over how amazing Mark was throughout the entire process and during the wedding! We look forward to working with Mark again for other family functions that come up throughout the years. Book Mark as soon as you can to ensure an amazing experience for your wedding, or any other function that you may be hosting!

A true professional and all around wonderful experience! Mark is very easy to communicate with and made this whole process painless. Off the bat, my fiancé and I could tell that Mark had a lot of experience! He was happy to meet up with us and go over all the details of our big day and left us with a bit homework to do (picking our first dance songs, songs for bridesmaids/groomsmen, etc.). He executed our plan flawlessly and was a great emcee. He was happy to take requests from our guests and did a great job of feeling out the crowd. Mark is a legend on the South Shore and he did not disappoint! He DJ'ed our NYE wedding at the Venezia and he made the day so special! We met with Mark twice and he always confirmed all of our conversations and was available for all the last-minute tweaks we had due to covid. It was a stressful time for us and he always made sure we knew he had our backs and would work hard to make sure our day was perfect. His delivery is so effortless and smooth and he made sure everyone had a blast! One of my favorite things was that he checked in with our parents before and after their speeches. Can't recommend Mark enough!!! Mark also works with a lighting person, Tim Joyce, who is amazing!!

I truly cannot put into words how amazing Mark was. The number of people who have called and texted me saying our wedding was amazing because of our DJ is too many to count! As the bride I did not leave the dance floor ONCE all night and even missed all of the late night snacks and desserts we had because thats how good he was! I truly did not want the party to stop. I cannot recommend Mark more. If you want your wedding to be the time of your life you absolutely have to hire DJ Mark McGuillicuddy! I could go on for days but he truly was the best. Everything went smoothly because of him the entire night and he helped us organized everything from the ceremony to the reception to the dance floor. All I told every vendor was I don't care about anything except that people dance and let me tell you my wish came true because of him!!!! Best wedding decision I made was hiring Mark McGuillicuddy!

I knew from the very first meeting, Mark was going to be our DJ. He stuck with us through 2 covid postponements without question. He was super easy to get a hold of and very accommodating. On the day of, he took care of everything music related without a hitch! Our big day ended up being our vow renewal/reception/gender reveal since we were 8 months pregnant by the time it arrived! He was part of our reveal by announcing our baby girl when he introduced us into the reception! Everything was perfect! I can not recommend him more! Pick him for your big day or event! DJ Mark was excellent and kept the party going all night long. My wife and I did not leave the dance floor the entire night. Mark knew how to read the crowd and was able to mix current hits and old school jams. He is extremely detail oriented and cares about his craft and presentation. I would be remiss to not mention that our original DJ had a medical emergency and arranged us to have Mark at our wedding. Mark was extremely professional and made us feel confident that the entertainment for our wedding would go as planned. Prior to our wedding Mark made sure to get all the details and then checked with our wedding party before intros so that everyone knew what their role was. He did all the hard work for us! He does the BEST job of keeping the dance floor packed all night, he adds the personality of the couple and his own flare to MC duties. DJ Mark was the perfect addition to our wedding! He was a huge hit with all our guests ! We requested all 80s and 90s music for the evening, and Mark stuck to our list and kept the party going. Mark was recommended to us by our reception venue, and he was FANTASTIC! Was very accommodating and had everyone up on the dance floor. He is a true professional. However, he does not treat the dance floor like a club. He provides music for all ages and will skip songs if no one is dancing. They say the 2 most important things in a wedding are the food and the DJ. I could not be happier with the DJ for our wedding!

We loved Mark! He's done a few of our friends' weddings and they were amazing, so when we were getting married we knew we wanted him. It was the best decision. He made our night. Mark is a real professional. Before the wedding, we met and went over our expectations and hopes. He listened closely and created playlists that perfectly reflected what we wanted, with a minimum of work from us. The day of, he arrived early, provided a microphone for our ceremony, and helped make sure that everything ran smoothly even before he started DJing. Our wedding party and officiant were so impressed. He oversaw our reception flawlessly, and we got so many complements on our music. People were coming up to me all night going, "Can I get this playlist?" Several people took his business card to hire him for their events. Even the people at the Inn took a stack of his business cards to recommend him! I don't even know how many people found me to tell me how much they loved the music. He made the night so special, and gave it exactly the energy we were hoping for -- the right mix of fast, slow, old, and new. He also (smartly) checked with my husband before allowing one particular request (which we denied and were so glad he thought to ask). Mark is wonderful. Music makes or breaks your wedding and we felt so lucky to have Mark in charge of ours.

Mark is a professional. Showed up in a tux and had everyone dancing all night. He has the best DJ voice. And he was completely flexible with all my little details that I changed from the order of traditional receptions. He even played "What does the fox say" when one of my bridesmaids requested it. Without a doubt Mark is one of the best wedding DJ's around! He's laid back, easy to get along with and a true professional. At our first meeting we felt very comfortable with Mark and knew that he'd do an amazing job, after that we didn't meet with anyone else. Mark played the music for our outdoor ceremony, outdoor cocktail hour and of course our reception. He never missed a beat and everything ran smoothly. He was so good that guests were out on the dance floor before we were even introduced into the room! Rave reviews from guests about our DJ, everyone was asking who he was and could not say enough good things about him. He worked with us, quite patiently, on do not play and play lists and had some great suggestions. I used Mark at my wedding because he was the DJ at my sisters wedding and he was just awesome. He doesn't make any stupid jokes or wear weird hats. He is there to make your night the best it can be. When meeting with him we reviewed what kind of music we wanted and what we did not want. He played all the perfect music. He is very professional and a pleasure to work. We wanted a 'starry starry night' feel to the evening in which everyone-- including our guests who could be categorized as seniors-- danced the night away. We didn't want it to be a younger guests' dance party and our DJ understood that and kept everyone on the floor. Also he understood that we didn't want too much announcing or too many interruptions from the booming DJ voice-- none of that 'Party people!' crap yelled out when the night picks up tempo-- so he presented a very classy-- and fun-- evening of music.;My husband and I love music as do our families so we had a lot of songs we wanted to hear throughout the evening. We gave the DJ a list complete with stars and explanations for why certain songs should be played at certain times and he skipped a few crucial ones-- such as a silly polka for my Polish mother. Also we provided enough song ideas to last for two receptions and yet he decided to improvise and throw in a few of his own choices which were completely out of the realm of our musical tastes. All in all though he did a very fine job.
