Derek and his dad were excellent to work with for our wedding! Clear communication throughout the entire planning process and extremely kind! They knew how to keep everyone on the dance floor which was a something we really wanted at our wedding. Their ceremony add-on was also a huge plus! As the wedding got closer, Derek made it very clear to us that if any changes were needed that they could make it happen. We didn’t have much to change, but we were confident that if we did, it would all be taken care of. We are so glad to have booked DnA for our wedding and recommend them to anyone! Our wedding day was a BLAST and Derek and his dad were a huge part of that. We can’t thank you two enough!

This father - son duo was like no other! They do an awesome job at keeping everything running smoothly and efficiently and did a good job with making sure to announce our extra little announcements about different things happening for our guests throughout the night . They have tons of features and equipment too! Did a great job at reading the room and keeping everyone on the dance floor! The only thing I was kind of bummed out about, was I didn't hear a lot of the songs I requested on their sheets for the 20 songs we definitely wanted to hear through the night. Maybe it was because I was just super busy running and dancing around greeting people or with our photographers, but I was a little disappointed I didn't hear some of those songs I was looking forward to hearing and dancing too! But overall, they did an AWESOME job and I recommend them to anyone!

I cannot express how great DnA was with their service! They went above and beyond for making it a great night! Everyone loved how quickly they were able to add Polish music into the mix without any notice! Would absolutely recommend to everyone I know!

Think you don’t need a DJ for your wedding? You do, and you NEED this one - correction; these ones! These guys were THE highlight of our wedding, we got countless compliments throughout the night and days after. So many of our guests were complaining their feet hurt from dancing too much! Myself included! This team is incredibly organized and on top of everything, they made the day. They catered the music to our diverse crowd and handled all of our announcements and sound needs. I’m not recommending this DJ; I’m TELLING you, you MUST hire these guys!!

Derek and his dad were a great pick. After having a lightning strike yards from the outdoor setup they took that down and continued inside! They were fully prepared for both. They played our pre ceremony request at the perfect time, incredible timing all night. Before the processional Derek’s dad took charge in all the chaos and got everyone down the isle on time, this was appreciated! They were very professional and awesome to work with, they made the night so much fun!

Derek and Kelly could not have been better for our event. They were very easy to work with and did a wonderful job entertaining our guests. We had 50-ish at our reception and plenty of kids. The guys would bring out different light-up party favors for the kids at different times which they absolutely loved. The great music selection kept us dancing through the evening. They were great with communication throughout the entire wedding planning process, and they were prepared and ready to go when the wedding started. They kept the party going all night and even brought light-up rings for our guests. To top it all off, they made a projectable image with our names and fireworks (our wedding was on the 4th of July weekend). We had a recommendation from a friend to hire DNA, and I am so glad we did!!

DnA Entertainment was perfect for our wedding! From the planning call with Derek to his Dad running the logistics of the reception - it all went smoothly. They kept the dance floor fun and full all night long with a great mix of songs for all ages and genres. One of our favorite parts was the glow in the dark rings, all the kids loved them! We hired DnA Music Entertainment for our wedding last weekend (6-11-22) and we can not recommend these guys enough. Absolutely incredible. We were extremely pleased with this dynamic duo! They helped facilitate the flow of events throughout the reception and made sure that the crowd was dancing late into the night!

Derek and Kelly are the best of the best. From the early planning stages to the last slow dance song of the night these guys were phenomenal. We had several people (including the owner of our wedding venue) say that this was the best DJ team they’ve ever seen. If you are looking for a DJ for your wedding- no need to look any further! DnA Music Entertainment is absolutely amazing and will bend over backwards to make sure your big day is everything you ever wanted. Derek and his dad were so wonderful to work with from start to finish. They were always so responsive with all communication, questions, and last minute changes we made. They also provided suggestions for music, timing of dances, dinner, etc. They also provided light up glasses and rings which made the dance floor even more fun! They were so great at using the songs we provided, but also adding songs to accommodate our guests. Overall, such genuinely nice people who want you to be happy and have fun!! We cannot recommend them enough!

What an AWESOME night! DnA kept the party going all night, I truly loved how his music choice kept the kids and adults involved, they also had sweet light up rings for everyone which made the dance floor light up like a disco club. DnA genuinely could not have done a better job on our wedding. The two-man team made everything run incredibly smoothly. They absolutely nailed the ceremony music without having rehearsed it with us. They were professional, courteous, and kept in regular contact throughout our planning process. Derek DJ'd an amazing set at our reception that both we and our guests enjoyed immensely. The price was totally reasonable, especially for the quality of help they provided. They had all the equipment we could have ever dreamed of needing, including having brought their own generator for our outdoor ceremony. I cannot think of a negative to say about the way they handled our wedding. If you are considering booking DnA, my advice is simple: DO IT!

We had the opportunity to attend a wedding where DnA Music Entertainment was performing and we were so impressed. When we got engaged and the wedding planning began we knew who we wanted to reach out to. Our wedding was north of Sioux Falls, SD (we were not sure how it would work out with them being from Ames, IA) they were thrilled to be there for us. Derek and Kelly were so good to work with. We had last minute things the day of and they were happy to accommodate us. They made our day all about us and we couldn’t have been happier with having them there to MC the night and keeping our guests on the dance floor. Thank you!!

We 100% would recommend DnA Music Entertainment to ANYONE! Leading up to our wedding, they were very responsive to all communications/questions, and discussed with us the schedule of our reception and the timing of dances, toasts, and anything having to do with sound. They made it super easy. Then at our reception they played the best music! All of our friends (who are in their late 20s/early 30s) danced for hours, and so many of them told us how great the music was and how much fun they had! We wanted a big party, and DnA Music Entertainment brought it.

I had met Kelly in college and promised him he could DJ my wedding one day, if possible...I was ECSTATIC when DnA happily agreed to travel for the wedding in order to DJ it. Derek and Kelly were EXCEPTIONAL!! They were punctual, self-sufficient, and both professional and personable. They were flexible and helped keep the reception on schedule as well as managing nosy guests so we could eat! We so enjoyed them, and they did a PHENOMENAL job of keeping the dance floor going all night! I would HIGHLY recommend these guys to y'all over and over again!

DnA BLEW US AWAY! I didn't have to worry or lift a finger on my wedding day for our DJs! Everything went so smooth and I would do my wedding over 1000x if I could just to work with these guys again! I received SO many compliments on them throughout the night and it was so sad when the night was over because nobody wanted to leave the dance floor. Our videographer said it best shortly after our wedding party's entrance at the reception: "Your DJ is a LEGEND!!! I've never seen anything like that in all the weddings I've done." DnA Music Entertainment is the best, hands-down. I've never seen another wedding DJ who is bopping to the music completely in his element like Derek. You helped work out the schedule and kept things moving all night long. The wedding party entrance you put on blew everyone away with Kelly's announcing--there is no adjective to describe the energy in his voice. The sound system was crystal clear and perfectly tuned to pump the entire 5200+ sq foot venue full without any echoes or distortion, and the uplighting looked amazing! The animated name projection was cool and we had several people use it as their background for group photos. You kept the party going past midnight and our guests were still cheering for more after "one more song." Thanks for making it a magical night to remember!

They showed up on time, were self sufficient, and very professsional. They kept the dance floor moving all night, enjoyed us as a bride and groom, kept our night on schedule, and were able to accommodate last minute requests. As a bride, 100% recommended!

The pre-wedding day planning was very detailed and professional. Derek and Kelly arrived on the wedding day with plenty of time to set up and discuss last minute details. I cannot say enough positive things about DnA! We planned an outdoor wedding, and it was a very rainy day (it may have hailed once or twice...) BUT I never heard anything but "let's go" from Derek and his dad. With my heart set on an outdoor ceremony, it made my day-literally! They were great sports and rolled with anything that day threw at them. Let's not forget how easy they made the entire process-ceremony, cake cutting, announcements, etc. at the reception! You need people like that when you're nervous and have no clue what to do next. Everyone LOVED the entertainment. Even though most of the family isn't big on dancing, DnA kept the dance floor alive all night! Great people, great entertainment!

Derek and his dad were the absolute soul of our celebration. Of course, my music choices for the ceremony were brilliant, but I could never have pulled it off without them. They also organized and ran the games for the reception and the dancing.... There was literally only one minute where there were less than ten people on the dance floor--it was packed all night. The guys were also there to answer questions, give me reminders, and reassuring smiles the whole time. Could not have been happier, not even if they had a cat on the turn table. Thank you so, so much!!!!
