DoubleTree Hilton Bristol FAR exceeded our expectations as our wedding block hotel! My husband and I stayed in a gorgeous suite for three nights at a very reasonable rate and the staff was absolutely amazing from the beginning. Jada and Kelli helped me every step of the way and always answered all my questions promptly and in a friendly and professional manner. On our wedding night we came back to rose petals on the bed and a bottle of champagne. I was so amazed at the level of customer service and attention they took with us and I can't wait to stay here any time we're in town. Extra bonus was having the sports bar for hanging out in between festivities where the staff was also impeccable. 10/10 on all counts!!!
DO NOT BOOK YOUR WEDDING HERE!!
Staff is not competent! After being told at our rehearsal dinner staff would be there to assist with set up, bride was left on her own and had to ask repeatedly for tables to set up for gifts, etc. Left our guests in 85 degree heat with no AC in ceremony area, forgot to put out custom wedding runner, didn't make the aisle wide enough to walk down side by side, stole the groom's cake when taken away for serving, just a complete nightmare! When I spoke to management in the days after the General Manager blamed the whole fiasco on the bride!!! If I can spare on bride the disaster my wedding was, please heed my advice and DO NOT BOOK HERE!!
