Mostly small cosmetic issues around the grounds and in room. Great made to order breakfast with Andre, does cost extra if not already included in room rate.

throom and took trash, restocked towels but did not make the beds any of the three days. Overall decent experience. Pool is cool water but refreshing after a hot day! Nice river views on one side of the hotel!
Overnight front desk staff on July 4th wasn’t all the nice or helpful but others were decent.

he name of Shay appeared. She was very helpful and helped me check in. Later on in the evening, I went down to the bar because it was obvious no one was eating in the restaurant. Once the manager left, the young bartender that was remaining, determined that it was important to pay attention to the men only at the bar. once back in my room, I tried to turn on the TV and it only flickered on and off such that I had to ask for maintenance as I was getting ready for bed. The room is dark. It needs lighting badly. I feel certain that things could be better. Maybe it’s because it’s a Sunday night.
Update next morning: after I got out of the shower , I went to put on my shoes and saw this. I am BEYOND grossed out.
Reading previous reviews, they say the AC is being renovated but it’s September and reviews go way back on no A/C.

Immediately upon check in, the bathroom was disgusting. Dirt and hair all over the bathroom floor and shower (floor and walls of the shower). Toilet and the surrounding floor were disgusting. Asked to change rooms and was told there were none a...
vailable. Asked if someone would be able to stop by and clean it and was told no one would be able to do so. Asked what they could do about it and they said "nothing, you're just going to have to deal with it until housekeeping gets here in the morning".
This is the second time I have had the displeasure of staying here in the last couple of months. Last time, both the blankets on the bed and the bathroom shower were gross. The AC also didn't work so it was super hot and humid. Nothing they could do about the AC and they gave me new bedsheets and said there was nothing they could do about the shower that night.
I've literally never posted a review before but my goodness.
0/10 stay somewhere else.

We have stayed at this hotel the past three years for an event that we are involved with at the River Center. In those three years we have seen an okay hotel become horrible. We have encountered issues with the air conditioning all three years ...
(for some reason the lowest you can set the thermostat is 65°, which wouldn't be a big deal if it was actually 65° in the room but alas it was not). This year on top of our room being incredibly warm the whole time, we also had an issue with the faucet in the bathroom. The hot water was a trickle and the cold didn't work at all. We told the front desk about this shortly after check-in on Friday. We went to our event and when we came back, someone had definitely been in the room (the shower door was open when we had left it shut), but the sink was not fixed. We called down to the front desk and were told that someone from maintenance must have lied about fixing it and they were sorry, but maintenance was gone for the night. They said that someone would look at it first thing in the morning. We were gone all day at our event on Saturday and when we returned the water was still not fixed. We made do by brushing our teeth with bottled water that we had brought. And I washed my face with hot water which was unpleasant. On top of that, the bathroom door stuck very badly, the artwork in the bathroom and room were broken, and the shower door was off the track. We told the manager on duty when we left that the faucet was never fixed and they didn't really seem to care. They offered no compensation and a "sorry" that seemed less than genuine. Unfortunately, this is pretty much the only hotel near the River Center, so I feel like they get a lot of business despite not really caring that their hotel has become a dump. If you don't have to stay there, don't. Stay anywhere else.

I recently stayed at this hotel while in town for a job interview, and while the location was ideal and the room was clean, I had multiple issues with the service that left me frustrated.
My room didn’t have an iron, which was a problem since ...
I needed to prepare for my interview. I spoke to the front desk and was assured one would be brought to my room, but despite waiting, the iron never arrived. This was very inconvenient.
There was also a big party going on in the lobby that woke me up a few times throughout the night.
On checkout, the line was too long, and since I didn’t have time to wait, I left my email for a receipt, which I needed for reimbursement. Unfortunately, I never received it. Upon checking my credit card, I noticed two separate charges for the room—one when I booked and another when I checked in, both for different amounts. I called the hotel the following week, and they explained the first charge was a holding fee and would be removed, but that never happened either. Worse, despite calling back multiple times, I still never received the receipt I requested.
Overall, the location was convenient, and the room was clean, but the lack of follow-through on basic services left me very unsatisfied. I hope they can improve their communication and customer service for future guests.
