DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Niagara Falls New York

We recently had our wedding at the DoubleTree by Hilton Niagara Falls, and it was a wonderful experience overall. Planning from the West Coast seemed challenging, but the team, especially our coordinator Melissa, made it seamless. They accommodated our unique requests, such as hosting a welcome party the night before and designing a custom layout. Walking up the venue’s steps for the ceremony was a special touch. Their flexibility with remote planning was a relief. They were responsive via email and phone, and we appreciated being able to visit the venue while nearby. Since we couldn’t attend the tasting, they allowed my sister and her friend to go on our behalf, which was thoughtful. We also shipped items directly to the venue and could drop off wedding items at the front desk, which were passed to the coordinator—such conveniences made a big difference. The food was fantastic. Highlights were the grilled swordfish, lamb lollies, coconut shrimp, and broccolini, all of which got rave reviews from guests. The carving station was excellent, though the meats were mislabeled, causing some confusion. The panzanella salad was lacking, and there was a noticeable delay between cocktail hour and dinner, which disrupted the flow. Late-night snacks were popular, though the timing of the announcement felt off. Melissa was flexible with last-minute changes, such as beer and liquor selections, and was transparent about costs. The dance floor and included furniture were great, and our DJ had no issues with the sound system. The venue was also handicap accessible, which was important to us. The wedding suite was a comfortable place to prepare and unwind. The venue was inclusive and mindful of our same-sex wedding, thoughtfully balancing traditional elements with our unique celebration. However, we would have appreciated a list of LGBTQ+ friendly vendors, which would have aligned better with our values and streamlined the process. There were a few small issues: some guests didn’t receive their welcome bags, and our favors were not placed on tables as requested. Additionally, the "get ready" room was locked in the afternoon, which added unnecessary stress. The after-party room was also locked, and we had to involve the front desk to unlock it. One area for improvement was photography. The staff took photos for their Instagram but didn’t ask for consent until after the ceremony. This made us uncomfortable. It would be better if they offered a discount in exchange for marketing photos. Overall, the event was a success, and we’re grateful to the team for their hard work. While there were some areas for improvement, we would still highly recommend the DoubleTree Niagara Falls for anyone looking for a picturesque venue with great service.

Our wedding was absolutely amazing - the planning experience and communication with Melissa was great, all guests highly complimented the food, and staff at the wedding were attentive and friendly. The vendors recommended were amazing as well. It made for a flawless and wonderful weekend, cannot recommend enough

I would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone looking to have a wedding. The hotel was very accommodating with everything, the wedding coordinators were amazing! They responded very fast to any and all questions we had throughout the Process! The day of went so smooth I couldn’t have asked for a better venue and a better team to work with through this past year of planning! It rained the day of the wedding. They made it so accommodating to make our ceremony inside and it was still beautiful. We purchased the hospitality room to get ready and it was set up in the morning with breakfast. The room was huge and gave us girls a lot of space to get ready.

Truly, I’m not sure where to start. I would assume most couples are in the same boat when it comes to planning their wedding. What appealed to us from this venue was the positive reviews, location near the water, being a one stop shop so to speak, and within budget. What I love about this venue was you had the ability to tailor your wedding how you wanted it. They gave us inspiration and support the whole year of planning. You are able to attend the annual tasting event, which helped us engage our family and bridal party. You could taste about 98% of the menu items, so come hungry. That helped us see what the space could be, inspired our menu choices, and meet vendors if you needed some. By then we had our vision and menu down. We could make that choice based on our exposure and experience at the tasting. We had another appointment to go over details. What really made this place the best was the staff. Melissa and Rhea, who helped my, now husband and I, with everything, from the planning process to the day of. They were professional, made us feel at ease, and were very easy to get in touch with. Regardless of who they were serving, the entire staff was absolutely wonderful. Each person I encountered, and had heard from our guests, was accommodating, respectful, caring, and hospitable. You can go as big or as small as you want. Have a comfortable place to spend the evening, have a beautiful outdoor space to have a ceremony (if you so choose), get ready in a hotel room or large hospitality room (again if you so choose). That’s the beauty- you have the choice and power to choose what is important to you and your wedding dream here. Location, choice, value, and professionalism were what drew us here. We both agree the value for what you get here far exceeded our expectations….i could go on and on. We will forever be grateful to the staff, especially Melissa and Rhea, for bringing our wedding dream to life.

I just had my wedding at the Doubletree. Melissa our coordinator and all of the staff were absolutely amazing. I am beyond happy with our choice. The night before myself and my bridesmaids made reservations for dinner at Parkway Prime the restaurant inside the hotel. They blew up balloons, set us up in a private room with bottles of champagne. It was a beautiful surprise. Wedding day was perfect. Everything was exactly as expected. Jill the banquet manager and Melissa were a great team to make sure everything went smoothly so that my husband and I were happy. For anyone looking for a venue, the Doubletree has everything you need!

I cannot rave enough about this venue and staff. Melissa was great with communication from start to finish. She was always available when I had a question which made planning very easy. Any vision I had the staff allowed and made my wedding vision come to life. The guests raved about the food and service from bartenders. I wish we could live the night over again.

The day went so smooth and I'm so grateful for everyone doing everything over emailing and making my very last minute plans come to life! I'm so happy with how everything turned out and am so appreciative to the staff for being so kind and attentive throughout the day! Left the day with a huge smile and great memories!

Melissa and her staff at DoubleTree were outstanding to say the least. It is a big day and you are nervous to leave it in the hands of anyone. They went above and beyond to take my vision and create it into a reality! I never felt like I couldn’t communicate what I wanted, all the way up until I walked down the aisle the staff supported me and communicated every step of the way. I’m so thankful I trusted in them for our big day and actually quite sad that it’s all over. I look forward to having them host another event in my future. Thank you to Melissa and all the staff for creating an exceptional experience, one that I will remember forever!

The Doubltree by Hilton did a wonderful job of hosting our wedding. Melissa LaNasa and her team did a great job of preparing and executing, our wedding. They did such a wonderful job with all the large and small details and nothing was missed. We are so grateful for the wonderful staff who made our dream wedding come true! We are forever grateful!

Melissa LaNasa at the DoubleTree worked with me the whole time I was planning my wedding. She paid attention to every detail I wanted and made sure day of that she didn’t leave until it was perfect. This is the most amazing venue. My friend also got married here and had an amazing experience as well. I also stayed two nights and they made our whole stay special and the room was great. Can’t say enough good things about this hotel and its staff.

Melissa was amazing to plan our wedding with. From beginning to end she was extremely professional and helpful. She was very thorough with every part of the planning process. We can not recommend the DoubleTree and their staff enough for Weddings. We had a great experience there for our July 2023 wedding. The staff was amazing and made sure everything was as perfect. All of the staff, especially Melissa, were very quick to respond and always did everything they could to accommodate our requests. The day turned out perfect, there was seriously not one issue! So many of our guests gave us compliments on the food and staff. We were able to get everything we wanted for a pretty reasonable price compared to other venues in the Buffalo area. We were also able to use their Hospitality room to get ready in and have a casual after party in. This was great because it did not clutter up our Hotel rooms!

The hotel was awesome and attentive to our concerns and made the experience seamless. Melissa was very helpful, understanding, responsive, and easy to work with. We recommend her and the hotel for anyone getting married or staying in town. Thank you both for your service.

The double tree was beautiful and the staff was amazing! Not one question unanswered! Nothing we wanted was a problem for them to bring to light ! Melissa and Rhea helped me deal with my crazy wild bridal party and making sure the day was perfect and I can’t thank them enough. The staff at the reception was exceptional ! They made sure we had everything we needed and wanted and a great time. They even left us a little surprise in our suite at the end of the night. They ate hugely recommend!

We got married in June 2023 and do not have a single complaint. The food was great, the service was amazing, and the ballroom/patio/hotel set-up is unmatched. We would highly recommend The DoubleTree to any couple getting married. A special shout-out to Melissa, the Sales Manager/Wedding Specialist, who went above and beyond to meet our every need. We are forever grateful to the DoubleTree for the best night of our lives!

Absolutely AMAZING!! I had my rehearsal dinner held here and I would try to book every event here if I could. The staff went above and beyond to make the experience special. Special call out to Jill who was the sweetest and took care of my mother who had a hard time getting around waited on her and got her everything she needed. But not only the staff was exceptional, the food was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend the stuffed pork! Even my catering friend had no complaints. Highly ,Highly recommend!

I can't say enough good things about the DoubleTree! The hotel's entire staff was so friendly and helpful as we spent much of the wedding weekend at the hotel! Wedding planning with Melissa was a breeze as she was so kind and calm throughout the process: promptly answering questions large and small, expanding the room block, coordinating with vendors, clarifying timelines, etc. She left no stone unturned transforming the ballroom and patio into a beautiful, welcoming space for everyone to enjoy the night. We were flooded with comments on how delicious the food was, and months later people still mention how delicious their meal was!

EVERYTHING about this venue was perfect. What made it so amazing was the staff. Every staff member between the wedding and just in the hotel was incredible. Melissa was the most incredible events planner. She made my vision become a reality and no matter when I reached out, she answered quickly and always had answers for me. Our wedding is a day we will never forget, and the Double Tree is a huge part of that.

Amazing venue!!! They are everything you need and more, truly one of the things that made our wedding spectacular was the double tree and their team. They genuinely care about making your day great and relieved so much of our stress leading up to the event and the day of! Melissa and the wait staff were exceptional. Melissa was always available when I had questions and concerns. They made everything look beautiful. Amazing wedding specialist!! Melissa and her team really helped to keep everything going and had it beautifully set up! We had a few hiccups with our families but with the help of Melissa’s team it was taken care of quietly and quickly. Highly recommend getting a room before the wedding day too!

Our wedding at the Double Tree was better than I ever imagined. Melissa did an amazing job setting up everything. She was always quick to respond and was always willing to accommodate any request that we had. My husbands Grandmother passed away the day of the wedding and Melissa was quick to jump in and help put together a little memorial table to make sure that we honored her. It was very nice. Not only was Melissa great but so was the other staff. All of the servers and bar tenders were amazing. The food was amazing as well. If you are considering booking at the Double Tree, I highly recommend.

My husband and I spent a long time debating wedding venues, and I couldn’t be more happy with the choice that we made. I couldn’t believe how well they took care of us on our special day. Everything was set up so beautifully and they made sure that everything went seamlessly. The food was excellent and the service impeccable. They did a great job from start to finish. Melissa was so helpful and amazing so was her assistant! Great crew, my only complaint is not everyone could see the slide show board how they set it up. Minor detail! Truly a beautiful venue so helpful and easy to work with ! We had an amazing night and the food was amazing so many compliments on the dinner!

Had our ceremony & reception here! Melissa & Andrea were amazing! A huge fear for any bride is any day-of mishaps, but Melissa made everything run so seamlessly! She decorated the cascades room even better than I had envisioned! Andrea made sure to check in with us during the reception to make sure all of the food & bev were up to par (which, omg, they sure were! The prime rib was amazing!) We had an amazing time and would recommend anyone looking for a wedding venue to give Melissa a call!!

We booked with the DoubleTree in September 2020 for our October 2021 wedding. From the first tour to the day after, Sarah or Melissa (the event coordinators at the venue) took amazing care of myself and my husband -- and everyone else involved with our wedding. They answered all of my questions expeditiously, were able to provide me with advice when I needed it, and took care of every detail. Everything was preplanned and followed closely, and the whole team ensured everything for the whole week surrounding the wedding went off without a hitch. Plus, you really do get an amazing value for your money. We checked out other venues where we felt we'd be paying a ridiculous amount of money for nothing -- and with the DT, we felt like all costs were justified and totally convenient to us and our guests. They made sure my wedding was everything I wanted and planned it to be, so I am incredibly thankful to them!

Heartbreaking- I will stick to the facts: Served us the wrong chicken dinner. We went for a tasting and they served us a different chicken dinner! Ran out of two kinds of beer-our guest were going downstairs to purchase beer!!! Served can beer We had people that didn't show to due being ill. They took the dinners away. We paid for the 10 dinners-our guests asked for the dinner and they refuse to leave it on the table. In the end, I asked for the dinners and there were no were to be found. Had to ask for more cheese and crackers-not even half of our guest had cheese and crackers. Pass around platters were far and few between. Not once did any server come and ask how our dinner was? or if we needed anything. The support staff was very nice-clean-polite Heartbreaking! After much going back and forth we were given a minimal refund. I did read a review from 10/21/2021-it is favorable, I am hoping that they corrected the situation for other couples. I am truly heartbroken!

❤️It is a parent’s hope and prayer that their child might meet and eventually marry the love of their lives. Not only did my daughter do this, but she also designed, planned and for the most part captured perfectly all those beautiful nuances for her own wedding to a tee. With the help of the amazing staff at this hotel, it was completely beyond our expectations this past weekend, Saturday October 9, 2021! The Doubletree establishment has not only provided our daughter Melissa Morgan-LaNasa with the most amazing job as an event planner, but she has also been working along side some of the most incredibly genuine, caring and talented individuals I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet. From Scott Swagler it’s GM, to Dave Carroll, Sarah Bubar, Andrea Grover and many other tremendously gracious staff who executed perfectly all of Melissa’s wishes, and gave both her and her now husband Daniel a wedding of a lifetime. We are truly humbled and most importantly THANKFUL to all who participated in this day! CHEF, you are amazing. The food before, during, AND after was nothing short of incredible!!!! We were floored!!!! 👍🏻❣️ There are really no words to express our gratitude to all! The day was amazing, my daughter looked beautiful, her wedding was a dream……and it was one hell of a great party!!! This venue made my wedding absolutely beautiful. Sarah and Melissa are absolutely amazing wedding coordinators. They help ease my anxiety and my guest are still raving about my wedding. I’m so happy I choose this as a place to have my wedding.

If you are looking for a spacious, modern, in-door type of venue, DOUBLETREE is where you need to book. Sarah(event coordinator) was amazing!!!!! She made my job as a bride so much easier, from postponing my wedding to coordinating on the day of. The food was so good! We had so many compliments. Trust me, book them and you will not be disappoint.

We had our wedding at the DoubleTree and it was perfect! They turned the banquet room into our dream wedding! We used the black table cloths and rose gold runners and they were gorgeous! Sarah helped me plan every step of the way and helped calm my nerves as was needed. The staff took great care of us making sure we ate and always had a drink and beautiful spaces for photos! Our hotel room was perfect as well and we had a beautiful tray of chocolate covered strawberries and champagne waiting in our wedding suite! Only suggestion would be to not book any families near the bridal parties rooms lol. 10 out of 10 would recommend for your wedding or function!

Sarah and the doubletree were absolutely amazing to work with! She answered my every question and was very easy to communicate with and very responsive. Our reception was absolutely beautiful & perfect and everything I’ve dreamed of despite the COVID guidelines.

This venue was beyond what I could have hoped for for my son and new daughter-in-laws wedding. The staff was spectacular, the food was exceptionally wonderful, the ballroom was beautiful. I highly recommend this venue!

We can not say enough about how great the staff at the Doubletree were. From Sarah working her tail off to make our day special during these crazy times to the restaurant crew who put together a wonderful meal. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We loved working with everyone so much that we will be back for a part two next year. Pre-covid and post-Covid Sarah worked with us every step of the way to get us exactly what we were hoping for, for our special day. Even on the day of the ceremony there was a decor mishap due to the wind, and Sarah worked her magic so that we didn't even notice! Would recommend the Doubletree over and over again!

Such a great experience dealing with Sarah at The Doubletree! Unfortunately COVID-19 changed our plans this year, but we most certainly would recommend anyone getting married to go see Sarah!! Gorgeous venue, awesome customer service and amazing food! We 100% will find an excuse to plan an event at The Doubletree in the future ❤️

This year has brought on a lot of change to the wedding industry and I am so thankful we chose the DoubleTree and Sarah B for our big day. We had been planning our wedding for two years and Sarah and her team helped us still maintain some sense of normalcy leading up to our 7/11/2020 wedding. From the start, we received excellent advice and service from Sarah. She went over every aspect of our event and helped us plan out our dream wedding Even through this pandemic, she was by our sides and helpful in every way possible. We were unable to have the reception we planned but due to COVID our reception wasn't allowed at the time, but Sarah and the DoubleTree staff helped us have the ceremony we had dreamed of. We can't thank them enough for the support and help they provided us. We have attended other weddings at this venue and it does not disappoint for a guest point of view. If you are looking for a beautiful venue with staff who truely cares about making every vision you have come to life, chose the DoubleTree. The entire event space is beautiful and can fit any theme or style you are going with. After looking and meeting with staff at 10 different venues, we knew immediately after our tour, the DoubleTree was the best decision we would make for the wedding. We look forward to the next event we can plan here!

Unbelievably outstanding!!!! Every single detail was absolutely perfect! Sarah our wedding planner was so incredible & helped us with every part of our wedding! She directed every detail to perfection and it was our dream wedding come true ! During our ceremony & reception, the room was gorgeous, our dinner was delicious and our service impeccable ! If we could give them 1000 stars we would!

Double Tree is by far the best place to have your wedding! We had our ceremony and reception there and both rooms are absolutely beautiful and elegant. We LOVED the high ceilings and the view of the water off the balcony in the reception room! The food was delicious and we cannot say enough about the staff! Sarah and the rest of the Double Tree staff went above and beyond what we could have ever expected for our wedding day and the whole planning process. There are no words to describe how caring and helpful Sarah is! Her heart is 110% in her profession! She answered every question we had within minutes of us e-mailing her and she just did everything she possibly could to made our wedding the wedding of our dreams and make it so that we had nothing to do or worry about for the actual day of the wedding! It was so nice to know everything was taken care of by the staff so we could just focus on enjoying the special day. Our guests told us over and over again all night how perfect everything was and how amazing the staff was to them! They absolutely loved it all! If we had to choose all over again, we would choose Double Tree every time! The whole experience was just perfect! We soooooo highly recommend!! <3 <3 <3

I don’t have the words to express how absolutely incredible this venue is. Let’s start with how convenient to have your wedding at a hotel where guests can book a room and stay. We had well over 100 people stay to the very end because of this. Sarah.... is literally a wedding angel! I told her my dream and she made it happen. She is sooooo amazing to work with, and always replied you any and all emails sooooo fast, even on time off. I delivered my decor (tons of it) with post it notes of what I wanted, when I walked into my reception I was stunned at how perfect it was and what an amazing job the staff did. Not to mention, my drink was never empty. A staff member was always so close making sure I had no needs or requests. I’ve never been treated so well in my life! I highly recommend the Double Tree!

This venue is fantastic there is a large attractive cocktail area that leads into a beautiful ballroom and outdoor patio was attached with nice heaters to allow gas to have even more room to celebrate. it was a December wedding and the room was beautifully decorated with holiday decorations and a huge gorgeous tree ! nice touch . Boulevard Wedding Concrpts did a gorgeous job decorating the room for us. The room was stunning. The chef Mike and his assistant QUan prepared phenomenal hors d’oeuvres and entrees of steak ,stuffed chicken and egg plant . All of which were delicious.The displays were so attractive. everything was served it a perfect temperature. The waitstaff was exceptional especially Andrea and Jill . The staff served 200 Dinners in 45 minutes that allowed us to get the party rolling even sooner . Every commented on how delicious the appetizers and meals were and that made us so very happy. And lastly Sara Bubar, the wedding event manager was superb!! We loved working with her and she made everything flow seamlessly! She is a consummate professional! I would highly recommend this venue

The Doubletree was the absolute best venue I could have imagined for our wedding. Sarah and the entire staff made our entire day seamless and really cared about the little details. It was honestly a perfect day thanks to all their dedication, we couldn’t have made any improvements! Our guests raved about the food!
