DoubleTree by Hilton Madison

We booked our wedding hotel block at DoubleTree by Hilton in Madison, WI and it was great. The rooms and views were beautiful and they were also able to accommodate a shuttle service for our guests back from the reception. The morning after the wedding they coordinated a brunch for our friends and family and this also turned out great. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend!

Our wedding was small, around 75 guests plus the bridal party. We enjoyed working with them as they were more than happy to cater to some of our changes, the food was great and parking wasn't a problem since they let our guests use the larger back lot. We would highly recommend them if you are looking for a great place down town!

Overall I was very happy with the staff and everything they did to make our wedding amazing, especially the weekend of. They went above and beyond during our stay at the hotel. They also have amazing prices for downtown Madison. The food was great as well. We didn't like one of the options for the package we picked so the chef quick whipped something up for us while we were at our tasting and it turned out really good. They also have very generous portion sizes. The only problems I had were the lack of parking, which is a downtown problem in general, and it's a smaller venue. I only had 100 guests and I cannot imagine having too many more than that in the ballroom (we had enough table space for around 120 but did not fill all the tables to capacity). Regardless, I highly recommend them if you are looking for a reasonably priced venue for a fairly small wedding in downtown Madison.
