Doubletree by Hilton Pittsburgh Airport

Five stars simply does not do this venue justice. We had our wedding here on October 7th, and we could not have asked for a more perfect day. The hotel is beautiful, the location is super convenient to the airport, the food is TO DIE FOR (Chef Mike and his team will hook you up)..but the amazing folks who work there make it worth it above all. Nichole (the wonderful lady you will work with through the wedding) is ALONE worth the cost of the venue. She helped make planning everything so effortless. If I needed something, she made it happen. If I needed a recommendation for a vendor or how to make an idea of ours come to life, she guided us. She is absolutely amazing and helped to make our day the best day of our lives. I highly suggest you check this Doubletree out...Nichole, Mike, and the other staff will not disappoint! Thanks for making our wedding day our best day yet <3

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the Doubletree and Nichole! We had the most magical wedding. From the start, Nichole was very responsive to all of our questions. We were able to bring in our own decorations, and customize everything. The food was AMAZING. Nichole and her staff decorated the outdoor space and reception room perfectly and catered to us throughout our wedding day. Highly recommend!!!

The Doubletree and all the amazing staff made our day absolutely perfect! From getting ready to even the day after. Nichole went Wayyy above and beyond to help us plan EVERYTHING! Not only did she help coordinate our reception but our timeline from ceremony to getting here. She reached out to local vendors for us to make sure every detail I wanted was perfect and set up everything for me EXACTLY how I wanted! Chef Mike could not have done a better job with our menu from Appetizers to entrees it's been months and I'm still getting compliments on everything! Give Nichole a call and book with her!

I cannot say thank you enough to Nichole! From the beginning she was perfect and helped in every way she could. Any questions I had were answered and I didn't feel like just any other bride. The entire staff that helped with the wedding was perfect. I do not regret one thing from my wedding day and I owe that to everyone that helped at the hotel.

We had both our ceremony and reception at the DoubleTree on 7/30 and it went absolutely perfectly. It rained during the day and we were able to make the call about an hour before the ceremony as to if it would be outdoors or not. Everyone was so helpful and pleasant and Nichole was so professional and helpful during the entire planning process and the wedding day itself. Cannot say enough about how wonderful these folks are. If I had to plan it all over again, I would have my rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception there in a heartbeat.

We had our reception at the DoubleTree and I must say that it was thee perfect venue for us. Nichole and her team did an amazing job and really made everyone feel comfortable. She was easy to communicate with and truly helped us make our fairy-tale wedding come true. Nichole and her staff were very professional and set up everything exactly how we wanted it to be. We had a rather large cookie table and they had set it up and decorated it beautifully (along with the tables!). I highly recommend this venue. A hotel reception was definitely the way to go for us. We had so many out of town guests that it just made sense and we knew that Nichole and her staff would take care of anything and everything we needed.

I could not have asked for a more perfect venue! The DoubleTree Pittsburgh Airport staff, especially Nichole (the wedding coordinator), were top notch. Nichole responded to emails and phone calls right away and was there to help us every step of the way. The process was so easy thanks to Nichole! We got absolutely everything we wanted. On top of the staff, the value for the DoubleTree is amazing compared to other hotels in the area. We had our ceremony out on the terrace and that was included in our price. Most places wanted to charge us a max of $1,500 EXTRA for a ten minute ceremony. Not only that, but the DoubleTree trayed our cookies, set-up everything for us (perfectly also!), put a drizzle of our choice on the cake, had an amazing coffee/tea bar after, and the food was amazing. I know those are little extra things, but they made the day that much more elegant (and saved us time!!). Also, I was set on getting the gold chivari chairs, and most places you had to pay extra for them or couldn't get them at all. The DoubleTree allowed us to substitute our chair covers and put the cost towards the chivaris - which made them a lot more affordable! Another thing we loved was that the DoubleTree charged per plate based on what the guest got - not a flat rate like most places. So if someone got chicken, we didn't have to pay for the filet price. Same with if someone was under 21, they charge just for soda. It really helps with costs (100 people) and the food was AMAZING!!! I have been to many weddings, and this food was by far the best (and I'm not just biased :) ) Also, we got our pictures out on the terrace after, which made for an amazing backdrop and we didn't have to travel anywhere (which saved the guests from waiting forever for us to get back from somewhere). While we got a lot for our money, you couldn't tell because the quality is TOP NOTCH. We couldn't have asked for a better place to have our wedding!!! The DoubleTree Pittsburgh Airport is the best!!!!

I cannot say enough about what a positive experience we had in planning our wedding reception with Nichole @ the Doubletree! She was very detail oriented, and didn't mind my mother's "question of the day" e-mails, and was always quick to respond. She was also able to accommodate all of our requests through the reception planning process, including the after party at Jacksons and a private farewell breakfast the next morning in the Redwood Ballroom. We received so many compliments on the venue, the decor, the service of the staff, the food and the after-party at Jackson's Bar. The staff was over-the-top friendly, extremely helpful and accommodating! Benny the bartender ensured that our parents and my husband and I always were taken care of through the night. The food was awesome, and not what you would expect at a "chain hotel", but was actually one of the reasons we decided on the Doubletree.... their award-winning chef. Compliments were also received on how the chef/staff managed to serve 170+ people and have the food be served "hot" instead of just warm. The only disappointing part of the day was the rain and not being able to have our cocktail reception in the beautiful outdoor area, but despite the rain, it was an amazing day!

My bridal shower included a wine tasting, and the Doubletree did an absolutely fantastic job! The food was amazing, and they did a great job in serving each wine for the wine tasting!

I did not have my wedding reception here, however I did have my block of rooms here and had several out of town guests staying. The first thing that upsets me about my wedding night, is that before hand I spoke to someone about having our shuttles picking us up at certain times. I was very concerned that the first shuttle may not fill up right away. I was assured that they would not leave without it being full. THEY TOOK 1 COUPLE. This left the second shuttle full with the bridal party including bride and groom standing to wait. THEY LEFT THE BRIDE AND GROOM to sit for 30 minutes. My dad had to pay them $78 to come pick us up! The second thing that upset is that that the week priori, I left 15 gift bags at the front counter to be handed out to my guests. When we checked out the morning after our wedding - they gave us 9 gift bags back. They only gave away 6 of our gift bags!!! I spend a lot of time and money putting those together and I asked them prior if they would hand them out and they told me that they would. Six of my guests did not get their bags.. I am still amazed at this. My Aunt's room smelled horrible they had to move her and my best man requested a refrigerator for his room and had to call twice before they brought it up ( 6 hours later). I will never ever ever stay at a double tree again and I will make sure that I tell anyone I know looking to get married or stay there my HORRIBLE experience.

Our wedding room block was wonderful! I did have some confusion as we got closer to the wedding, as the woman we had been working with had moved on to another job and I now had to work with someone new. But Molly was fabulous and very helpful in answering all of our questions. Thank you so much for all of your help and for making all of our guests so happy :)

My husband and I were married here on 5/22/15 (same-sex wedding). I can honestly say that without Dawn and her staff, our wedding would have been a disaster. There are so many aspects of planning a wedding that we just didn't think of, but Dawn took care of all those small, minute details that we had no idea to even consider. From the first meeting with Dawn, we knew we wanted to work with her to plan our wedding, and the ballroom and outside patio were perfect for the wedding we had in mind. The food was AMAZING, the bartenders were quick and attentive, the service staff were wonderfully friendly and courteous. Dawn was always extremely quick to answer our questions throughout the planning process, decreasing the stress of the planning process tremendously. I highly recommend Dawn and the DoubleTree Hilton!

Great food and great service. We did the off season pricing and it was a great value! Everyone complimented the food.

The DoubleTree was the perfect reception venue. We had around 290 guests at our wedding and Dawn and her team went over and beyond to make our day perfect. Dawn was also very easy to work and communicate with through the whole planning process. She helped make every detail we asked for possible. The food was delicious and we've had so many people tell us how good they thought it was. I highly, highly recommend this reception venue.

I had my reception at the Double Tree Hotel near the Pittsburgh Airport and it was fabulous. We were married on November 3, 2012, and I still have friends and family telling me how much they loved the food! Dawn Latkovic is the wedding coordinator there and she is amazing. I can't say enough wonderful things about her because she was so helpful during the entire planning process, and was so good about getting back to you with questions and concerns. She even went beyond her job role and set up all my floral centerpieces when my florist went psychotic and we had to find a new florist three days before my wedding! The reception went so smoothly and everything was perfect even with the disaster that occurred. Dawn helped us find a new florist, so I even had flowers on my wedding day. They set us up in a complimentary room and had chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of champagne waiting for us. Our day was perfect and everyone had fun!

They did an excellent job. I got a lot of compliments from guests. The chair covers that were included in our package were beautiful and made the room. The service and food were great. Compared to other hotels, it is a good value for what you get.

I was married at the Doubletree on 5.27.12 and had my reception there. Dawn, the wedding coordinator, was wonderful to work with. She made everything easy and she worked with our budget. The service was the best and I could not have been happier. We had the Tuscan stuffed chicken with green beans and yukon potatoes. We also had a strawberry salad, which was amazing. I could not have been happier with everything.

Dawn was soo great to work with from start to finish! I didn't have to worry about anything the day of my wedding. Her and her staff took care of everything! It rained the entire day of my wedding but she made sure everything still looked amazing. You didn't even notice the horrible weather outside. Everyone at the wedding kept telling me how amazing the food was. Jacksons at the hotel does a fanastic job! If you are looking for a very affordable location for ceremony and reception this is the place to go!

The Doubletree Hotel - Pittsburgh Airport did an amazing job for our wedding! The food was excellent - we were getting compliments all night. They did a beautiful job displaying our cookies as well - the only flub was someone dropped our tin of handmade pizzelles, so none of them ended up on the cookie table. It was disappointing, but nothing to get worked up about! Dawn, the wedding coordinator, worked with us on all of our requests; the wedding went extremely well and we couldn't be happier.

Venue was perfect. Everything was perfect, the food was great, the service throughout the reception were great! Perfect until the end of night, when the wait staff (without permission, of course) took all leftover candy from candytable, all leftover cupcakes, and our $$ centerpieces, after breaking two of them by moving a table with two of them on them (gee what could go wrong?) The wait staff had a built in 20% gratuity. This really ruined what was a great night at the Doubletree.

the double tree was perfect for our wedding reception. the grand ball room fit our 250+ guests comfortably. the decor and furniture is lovely so i chose to skip the expense of linens and chair covers. dawn, the wedding coordinator, is very energetic and helpful! they also have a lovely gazebo in the back of the hotel and gardens perfect for pictures and cocktail hour. we also did a friday wedding cutting costs in half!

From the very beginning we knew this was the place for us. It doesn't feel like a hotel ballroom it is much more grand. Dawn was a pleasure to work with and was the most upbeat coordinator we met with by far. We had our wedding on a Friday and they worked with us on a budget and made everything fit. The food was amazing, the chef here is on top of his game and really puts together a great meal. The reception went very smoothly and the staff was marvelous. I can't wait for someone else I know to get married there so I can enjoy it all over again.

The food was excellent! Dawn, the consultant was very easy to work with. Everyone working at the hotel were friendly and accommodating. My family and friends cannot stop raving about the hotel, staff, and overall experience.

Dawn and the Doubletree staff were amazing. They went above and beyond our expectations. We had both our ceremony and reception at the Doubletree and both were perfect. My husband and I are still getting compliments on the staff and the tasty food.

I do not regret anything about my decision to have our wedding reception at the Doubletree Hotel - Moon Township. Dawn was AMAZING, always responsive to our needs, and did everything she could to make our day perfect. The food is actually very good, the main ball room is large and spacious, and the honeymoon suite is beautiful. Includes all food, linens, services, 5 hour bar, dinner, appetizers, coffee bar, etc.

We had planned to have the ceremony outside but it rained ALL morning. The staff waited as long as possible before switching it to the back-up ballroom. I like that it wasn't the same ballroom as our reception. By the time the ceremony was over the rain had stopped and we were able to go outside in the garden area for pictures :);They took the bridal party up the back stairs so that we wouldn't be seen in the elevators... they were very difficult to manage in my dress.
