Riley was amazing! We couldn’t have asked for anyone better to help make our day so special! All of the staff were amazing! Our day was so perfect we could not have done it without by of them!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at this venue on 6/28 and I can't say enough positive things about this venue. Riley is an absolute angel who made every step of the process easy and enjoyable. Emails were answered quickly and prices were always very transparent. On the day before our wedding we were able to set up and Riley was on hand to help with anything we needed. During the wedding, we had a guest with a cake allergy, without hesitation she got an ice cream in place of the cake for the guest to enjoy. The venue itself was clean and beautiful and every single staff member was kind, helpful and willing to go above and beyond!

This hotel is absolutely beautiful!! My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner here, got ready the morning of wedding and stayed that night. Highly reccomend booking this hotel. If you are getting married and need a place to get ready, book the deluxe suites with water view! And your hotel block! The rooms are so spacious and the views are absolutely breathtaking with the bridge and water in the background. And I cannot say enough great things about the sales manager Riley! She helped me for months with all of my questions and concerns and she is even nicer in person. Our block of rooms kept filling up and she assured me she would do the work to get more. She also helped get us transportation to and from the hotel and venue with the shuttle service they use. Her and the entire staff at doubletree port Huron was amazing. We will definitely be back in the future 😊

We went through the Doubletree for our wedding hotel block. It was an absolutely beautiful view and the service was incredible. Samantha Redinger was a huge help to us with getting our room block and ensuring all our guests had a smooth, comfortable stay. Her, and the team at the Doubletree, all helped us to coordinate the transportation to the wedding venue as well as hand out goodie bags to our guests. They sent recommendations of things to do in the area and places to visit. It was overall an absolute pleasure working with them. Highly recommend!

I was in charge of booking rooms for my son’s wedding. We live about an hour west of Port Huron so didn’t really know the area. I did hear that Hilton Doubletree was on the water so thought I’d start with them. From the first to last time(which was finally face to face the wedding weekend) Riley was fabulous! She was extremely helpful and always professional! Anytime I would email or call her she would respond within the hour usually. And it didn’t stop with Riley. From the front desk staff, to housekeeping, they all had smiles and friendly greetings. The bridal suite and king suite where my son was we’re both roomy and so clean, as we’re all the rooms! And their restaurant within the hotel, Freighters, was delicious! On top of all this the view of Lake Huron and the Bluewater Bridge is all remarkable! This hotel is a gem!

An absolute delight to plan and bring our reception to life at the DoubleTree. Riley and the staff did an amazing and very accommodating job to help us pull off a quiet and inviting celebration of our unity. The outdoor space was great for the kids to play and give the adults some fresh air. Everything was exactly what we wanted and made our evening a night to remember!

We had an excellent experience getting married here! The coordinator Riley is wonderful and was very helpful and patient. The wedding ended up beautiful and our guests raved about the food and venue. We also got fantastic wedding pictures by the bridge. Plus everything was within budget!

Riley was an absolute pleasure to work with. Incredibly professional and helpful, especially since I was planning from across the country. Hopefully I won’t need another wedding venue for myself, but I would hands down recommend.

Beautiful hotel in the PH area for a wedding block. I was in a different country and they were great about communicating over email. We had a few glitches getting the booking link setup but Riley was awesome and able to get to the bottom of the issue and had it all fixed before we released it to our guests! Sarah was great to communicate with to get the contract setup. It was easy to extend the block once the first group of rooms was booked. Check in and out was very easy for us and all our guests and they helped direct our guests to the shuttle. Rooms are very clean and well kept. Beds were also very comfortable after a very long day! The suite was perfect for our whole wedding party to get ready in - lots of space. Thankful that Doubletree was a part of our big day, and those cookies, yum! Prices are a little high, especially if converting to Canadian and do wish there was a breakfast included but these are small things that don’t affect the great stay we had!

Great location with some amazing views. The hotel was very easy to work with and made all of my brides guests feel welcome.

My day was absolutely perfect! Everyone complemented me on the venue because it was so elegant, Sarah and Riley both made everything go so smooth for me and I could not thank them the enough. The food from freighters also was amazing, I was stuffed and wanted to keep stuffing my face! The venue is right next to the river so pictures were easy to get. My mom booked a suite which allowed us to have a big room to get ready in so I do recommend that for my fellow brides. (It was room 310 if you want assistance getting the big room to rent they can tell you what style lol)

We loved our time and experience at the Double Tree! We were able to have our April 30th ceremony outside! Riley and Sarah were very easy to communicate with before, during and after our big day. The indoor reception space came together so beautifully and comfortably accommodated our guests. We didn't have the opportunity to indulge in the appetizers that we had selected, however we heard that they were great. We went with the Southwest Buffet for dinner - it was an absolute hit with all of our guests! (months later; we're still hearing about how enjoyable dinner was!) Another huge plus to this venue is the ability to book hotel rooms right on the property!! We would absolutely recommend the Double Tree!

Sarah La Forge and the rest of the Double Tree Port Huron staff saved our wedding from disaster! A power outage took out all the power at our venue in the middle of the rehearsal and it didn't come back on until the day after our wedding. However, that didn't stop Sarah and her team! They rallied all their local contacts, worked with multiple caterers, borrowed generators and equipment from other DJs and got everything together to the point that you really didn't notice that that there was no power. A lot of other venues would have just told us that we were out of luck, but I cannot begin to describe how amazing this team was in making sure this "act of god" didn't stop our special day. It was such a pleasure working with Sarah over the two years we were engaged. She always went out of her way to answer my many questions and was really flexible and willing to customize our experience to meet our needs. The venue was absolutely beautiful, multiple guests and vendors also told us the food was the best wedding food they'd ever had. I love these people and we will be returning to the Double Tree in the future to relive our special day and say hello to Sarah. Book now. You won't be disappointed.

Our guests loved the Doubletree. It was great for families, couples, and single friends. Pool area is fun for the kids and couples alike to hang during down time, the view is absolutely stunning from the balcony rooms or even the back lot facing the culinary school, staff is AMAZING. Always so kind and hospitable. Our rooms were spotless and even the bar/restaurant had great foods and craft cocktails. 10 stars!

We had our wedding at the blue water convention center and we used the hotel during our weekend stay and it was amazing!! The suite was so much bigger then I thought it would be and it was perfect for my bridal crew getting ready together. I can’t wait to see the photos from that. Amazing staff and my kids room was connected to our suite which was so amazing also. So kind of them get that for us. Everyone who I worked with was just amazing! The room was clean and just overall a perfect stay.

Sarah and the entire staff at DoubleTree were so kind and helpful on our wedding day. Everything we asked for an immediate answer and it made it so easy to navigate planning and the big day. The venue is also gorgeous and absolutely perfect for a wedding. My December, winter wedding was so gorgeous in the Abbey. We were so happy.

We are very happy we chose this venue for our late October wedding! It was perfect for having our small wedding and reception all in one indoor space (70 guests). Sarah LaForge was an amazing help through the entire process; she was flexible and timely in answering our questions and helped coordinate the day of. Thank you for everything, Sarah!

We are so happy we chose this venue for our special wedding day. Everything turned out perfectly! Sarah was a tremendous help throughout the wedding planning process and especially the day of helping things to run smoothly and allowing our vision come to life. Before the big day, Sarah was efficient with answering all and any questions we had leading up to it and was super helpful when we asked for suggestions on certain aspects. The venue itself is incredibly beautiful. We received many compliments from our guests saying so themselves. The overlook of the St. Clair River during the ceremony was even more gorgeous than we imagined. It was just overall a beautiful day. The only problem we encountered was that dinner appeared to be a little behind and we had to push back the start of the first/formal dances a bit, but it all worked out and didn't put a damper on the day. I will say for dinner, add the House Made Mac & Cheese!!! Just do it. You won't regret it. A month after our wedding, we still have friends and family talking about how good the Mac & Cheese was. Heck, we still talk about it ourselves too. In the end, we have absolutely no regrets choosing DoubleTree - Port Huron to host our wedding and we would recommend them to anyone looking for a venue for their special day and to highly take them into consideration!

The day was perfect, the team set up the room in a beautiful way that everyone could see us, and were very friendly and helpful

All staff members were extremely accommodating to us and our 40 guest rooms we had booked from Friday - Sunday. Samantha and Sarah were wonderful through the entire booking process and during our stay. The suites were the perfect size for our bridal party - spacious enough to have 15 girls and the hair and makeup team get ready the morning of the wedding. We were able to have our first look on the patio and that was perfect. All guests were very happy with their stay and we all had a great weekend!

My wedding turned out beautifully. The location is perfect for weddings and the event coordinator Sarah does an absolutely wonderful job helping the couples and their families plan an event that will be remembered fondly for a life time. Any time I had a question or needed help prior to and up time show time she was available. She responses quickly to any questions at any time prior to the event. The serving staff was amazing. There wasn't a single dirty dish or glass on the tables during the dinner service. All of my guests were taken care of. The view is by far the best in the area. The hotel is beautiful with top notch fitness center, beautiful pool, and attached restaurant. I highly recommend the DoubleTree by Hilton on Port Huron. It was truly a dream come true.

This vendor could not have been more accommodating throughout the whole process from the time we booked to the day of the wedding. The bride and groom live in Canada, so it was mostly done through e-mail communication. We used the Abbey room which led right to the outdoor area where the ceremony was held. It was beautiful. It was a perfect location for the American and Canadian guests. The bridge and the water gave a beautiful backdrop. We had a block of rooms for guests staying the night and did everything from the rehearsal, the rehearsal dinner and a continental breakfast the morning after in a conference room reserved for us to use the entire weekend. That room was not the focus but helped us immensely with storage and gathering of guests pre and post wedding. We had a huge bridal suite to get ready for the day. Everything was right on site the entire weekend. They hosted a tasting event months prior to the wedding to help my daughter and son in law make their meal and drink selections. The food was delicious. The service was superb and the wedding coordinators were fabulous. We did not have an unlimited budget, and we got so much for the price we paid. It was very reasonable. We cannot thank Sarah LaForge enough for her attention to detail and for always accommodating us. She took most of the stress away from us so we were able to enjoy the day. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful also. We are extremely happy with this venue and I know the bride and groom feel the same way.

The managers at this venue were very responsive, helpful, and cheerful. They were even willing to make last minute changes to our set up the day of the event. The views and outdoor area are amazing. The bars and wait staff were also great.

Sarah was amazing ,organized and very helpful. Plus the staff was so patient and friendly. Me and my husband had a small wedding at doubletree hotel and it was prefect the water view is a must and the food was so good . I highly recommend this venue.

We had our wedding here and it was so beautiful. We worked with Sarah and she is ah-mazing! She is beyond helpful and accommodating. It was a pleasure to work with her. The food was fabulous, the view was so pretty, our room was nice and clean. Thank you Sarah for making our day so special!

Was looking to have a smaller wedding (50 ppl) and I reviewed several vendors before settling on the DoubleTree Hilton PH. Several other hall vendors seemed less than interested in making our big day special since it was a smaller in size. However Sarah and Amanda both took time with us and made us feel equally as special to host our event there. In the months leading up they offered a tasting which was helpful and worked with us to answer any questions or concerns we had. For the day of, Sarah went above and beyond adding some special finishing touches and even stepping in to assit the photographer in achieving some great photos I wanted. Her attention to detail is perfection! The hall itself was beautiful especially with the water view. The staff was great with working with our guests even when special requests were made. Having the hotel available for the guest was so convenient and helpful for "getting ready" before the ceremony. I can't express how happy I am with my entire experience with this vendor. Highly recommend!

The Doubletree was perfect for our wedding and everything turned out beautifully! Sarah was awesome and super responsive, she made sure everything was perfect! The venue was extremely accommodating and the staff were all very friendly. I loved having both the reception and ceremony on site, and being able to have an indoor and outdoor reception was a huge plus. I definitely recommend this venue!

DoubleTree by Hilton Port Huron was the PERFECT venue for our big day. Sarah, Amanda, and the rest of the DoubleTree staff were so helpful throughout the planning and even more on the big day! They were prompt with responses to questions, flexible with requests, and full of great ideas and reccomendations that made our day go smoothly. The Abbey and patio area create a beautiful and intimate space that allowed for a natural flow from our ceremony to our reception. All of our guests loved that they had an outdoor space to gather in, that they didn't have to travel from ceremony to reception to hotel, and all mentioned how lovely the space was. I cannot reccommend DoubleTree by Hilton Port Huron enough!!

I got married at the Doubletree in Port Huron on May 28 in my day could not have been any more perfect! The hotel wedding coordinator Sarah LaForge Was absolutely amazing ! She went above and beyond her job to make sure my day was perfect! she fluffed my dress at every picture she took amazing pictures of my wedding for me she was there by my side every minute that I needed her for anything and I don’t even think that I needed to ask her for anything because she was already on top of it! Nobody could’ve did the job she did if it wasn’t for her my wedding would not have been as amazing as it was! I highly recommend the Doubletree just because of her she will give you amazing ideas as well as making sure that everything is absolutely perfect!

We had our daughter wedding reception here and everything was absolutely wonderful. Amanda was great to work with, answered all our questions and made sure everything was ready. The bride and groom loved it as did all our guests. Would definitely recommend Amanda and this location!!!

Our wedding was absolutely perfect and just the way we imagined it. All the planning leading up to our big day was extremely stressful (Covid especially). We were suppose to get married October 2020, but like many couples, we pushed it back a year and got married October 2021. Amanda was so incredibly helpful with everything! She was so accommodating and flexible with what we wanted and our schedules. We sent a tons of emails and she always responded to every email and promptly. She was even there on our big day which was so comforting incase anything came up and we needed her. All of our guests couldn't stop saying how elegant everything was and loved that the hotel was connected so they could just walk upstairs at the end of the night. We were able to design the lay out of how we wanted things set up and where, which I loved. The food was phenomenal and it was so nice to be able to do a tasting before hand so we could select our menu. We absolutely loved having our wedding here and can't stop looking at all of the beautiful pictures from our day.

She answered all my questions and was so very accommodating to us given all the twists and turns covid brought! She went above and beyond for us in the big and the little things! I can’t even say enough about how happy you will be working with Amanda at Doubletree in Port Huron. Everything went so smoothly and had no problems at all. Highly recommend this beautiful location for a wedding!!

We selected DoubleTree in Port Huron for our ceremony and reception because we loved the aesthetic inside the Abbey Room and being so close to the water and Blue Water Bridge! However, COVID-19 changed some of our plans and we instead had the ceremony and reception out on their adjacent patio space. It ended up working out perfectly for our photo sessions, and we had no rain on our big day!! During one of the most difficult times to plan a wedding, we cannot thank Amanda enough for her hard work and dedication to her clients. She is the sales manager at the hotel, and she is a wonderful person who is passionate about event planning. So many curve balls were being thrown at her by us and the restrictions, and she handle them all with immense grace and kindness. She is extremely communicative, flexible and genuinely wants couples to have the best day of their lives! We are grateful to have had her support during one of the most difficult times for not just us, but everyone. To top it off, the entire staff at the hotel were also very aware of our event and were incredibly considerate and accommodating. They have a wonderful team of individuals and we're so glad we chose to work with them!

Double Tree was a beautiful place to stay with a great view of the water. We stayed here the night of our wedding and will defintely stay there again.

We hired DoubleTree for our Wedding and Reception, however due to COVID we needed to cancel. Amanda was by far the best to work with. She was quick to respond, creative with seating arrangements, and so friendly! I would recommend DoubleTree to anyone! If it wasn't COVID we would have been there. And Amanda would probably have been a bridesmaid!

I am a 2020 COVID bride that was supposed to get married in May and postponed to September. I will spare you from ALL the details of that and start by saying if I could give 100 stars to the DoubleTree- I would. The sales manager, Amanda, worked with me from the very beginning and went along with all my crazy ideas. From a morning ceremony outdoors with a backup plan, to no indoor backup plan allowed and a last minute (2 weeks in advance to plan) outdoor plated rehearsal dinner. Amanda even fixed my dress right before I walked down the aisle. Not only is the view of the bridge and the water amazing, the convenience of being able to stay in the hotel connected to where your wedding is being held is PRICELESS. I put my dress on 10 minutes before it was time to walk down the aisle. I am rambling now- but I hope this gives you what you need to book your wedding with the DoubleTree!!!

This venue is beautiful and offers some unique views! The reception area is spacious and offers a ton of natural light, has great decor and a beautiful fire place that you can use. Ultimately we decided to go with another venue but I wanted to write a review because of the customer service we received was great! Amanda was very helpful and a pleasure to work with! She is willing to work with you to meet your budget and has a positive attitude through every step. When working with wedding coordinators this is important and can be a hit or miss for some people. Amanda hit the mark on what a wedding coordinator should do!

We used DoubleTree by Hilton Port Huron to reserve a block of rooms for our wedding and to host a celebratory breakfast the morning after. Amanda made the planning process very easy by offering great ideas, adding additional rooms to our block, assigning certain rooms to be near each other, and always responding in a timely manner. The weekend of our wedding, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! The night of our wedding the staff offered a small conference room for our guests to continue their shenanigans in without bothering other guests. The next morning the celebratory breakfast was the most delicious and perfect way to reminisce on the night and say thank you / see you later to our guests that traveled near and far to partake in our special day!

I cannot rate this venue and their wedding coordinator, Amanda Bushor, high enough. If I could give 10+ stars, I would! Our day was absolutely perfect, down to every detail. The amount of compliments we received on their food and on this venue were insane! (side note, GET THE MAC AND CHEESE!) Working with Amanda was such an incredible experience. She was extremely organized, detail oriented, and SO much fun to work with! What is typically a very stressful experience for some, was seriously so enjoyable for me. The fact that Amanda is so good at what she does really allowed me to enjoy the entire experience and soak it all up, all the way up to the day of. She went above and beyond over and over again. I will never forget working with her (and honestly wish we lived closer, because we'd totally be friends!). Thank you so much to Amanda and the rest of the staff at the Double Tree Port Huron for helping us to make our wedding dreams come true!

Having our wedding at DoubleTree was the best decision we made in our planning process! Truly this is the perfect venue. Guests can mingle inside the beautiful reception area, hang out on the large outdoor patio, or walk down to the water. We loved using the bridge in the background of our pictures! The team at DoubleTree, especially Amanda and Samantha, were extremely responsive to my zillion emails and made the planning process easy!! Everything went off without a hitch and all of our guests were saying this was the nicest and best wedding venue they had ever been to! For all of the venues we toured, this one was so much more reasonably priced and the location was perfect! <3

Amanda Bushor, and the entire staff of Doubletree, really went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect. Every aspect of our 2 day wedding weekend was attended to with efficient, warm care. The food was delicious and the service was personal and immaculate. I had not a single complaint from anyone the entire event... Doubletree really raised the bar- I literally felt spoiled by them. A thousand thanks to a venue that knows how to pamper and care for their customers. My wedding was the best I have ever attended- and not only because I married the greatest man on earth but because I was graced with the greatest venue! Thank you Amanda and everyone at Doubletree by Hilton in Port Huron, MI!!!

I loved working with the staff at the DoubleTree. They were extremely accommodating for all of our needs- even such things as having a couple of bottles of champagne behind the bar for the bride, since it wasn't included in the open bar package. I was thrilled with how lovely the wait staff was. The original event planner I started working with was promoted and I worked with Samantha Cuppen who was quick to respond to any issues or questions I had during the planning process. Towards my wedding date they found a replacement for the original event planner and I think it is a testament to they way they run events there that not one detail was overlooked- from the floor plan that I revised more than once, to how I asked that the napkins were folded! They did so much to make our day special.

Everyone at this venue was amazing to work with! Planning was super easy and they even made all of my last minute ideas happen. We were able to get in VERY early to set up and they made sure to come down and check on us to see if we needed anything. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this venue, amazing staff with amazing views!

We had such an amazing weekend weekend. We had out rehearsal dinner at Freighters that is attached to the DoubleTree. Our ceremony was outside and beautiful. The reception was in the Abbey and the space was perfect and allowed for our guest to engage in conversation at one end and dance on the other end. The event staff did a wonderful job and our event planner was great at communicating with us and answering all of our questions to help our day run so smoothly. We also had a breakfast the day after the wedding at Freighters tes which was great to see our guests one more time.

We had our June 29th wedding in the courtyard outside the Abby room with our cocktail hour on the patio of the Abby room and reception in the Abby room. The food and service was excellent. We worked with Sarah and Katie to plan our dreaming wedding. They both responded quickly and were extremely helpful throughout the entire process. This venue is a picture perfect venue overlooking the Blue Water Bridge and the St. Clair River.

The staff at the DoubleTree was great! I worked with Sarah for all of the initial planning and she always got back to me in a timely manner and made sure all the details were taken care of. She was also present the day of the wedding to take care of last minute things that popped up. The staff the day of was very attentive to all our guests, got the food out to all the tables fast, and had positive attitudes. The venue is beautiful and the food was delicious.
