You cannot go wrong with DownTown Gowns!!! The absolute best experience! I had a dress in mind for my wedding. When I went there to try it on (along with 20 others), I felt like a celebrity! They treated me and my family so well! They took pictures of every single dress so my supporters could just relax and take in the dresses. They hyped me up! We popped champagne when I chose the dress! I also got my veil from them! I tell everyone to go to DownTown Gowns and to not go anywhere else!!!

WHAT AN EXPERIENCE! These ladies know how to make a girl feel special and relaxed when shopping for your wedding dress. I had tried a big name bridal store first and had a terrible experience, feeling pressure from the sales woman to BUY TODAY before the sale ended. That put a bad taste in my mouth right away. My wedding planner suggested I try Downtown Gowns and I’m so glad I did! They had so many options in my price point and they suggested taking pictures in the dress and taking a look at those before purchasing. It’s so important to see how a dress photographs (something I never would have thought of!). I ended up buying my gown and veil from Downtown Gowns – both within my budget! I felt beautiful on my wedding day, THANK YOU Downtown Gowns!

The ladies at Downtown Gowns are THE best! They have made my whole bridal experience more than I could have ever expected. From helping me find my dream wedding dress, to picking out my bridesmaid dresses, mother of the bride dress, mother of the groom dress, AND groomsmen tuxes, their customer service and care has been outstanding! They have been by my side through this whole journey and are always a phone call away if I ever needed any help. Thanks to Mrs. Amy and Mrs. Lynne all of my wedding dreams have come true!

We had the worst experience with this company. Lynn was absolutely rude to all the 5 groomsmen , the groom & the father of the bride. Just because the young men did not meet her normal standards of looks, does not mean she can treat them the way she did. Tattoos are not taboo anymore. They were paying customers. $175.00 per tux to be exact. The only reason any of them did not walk out of there that day was because we were on a deadline. Then when the tux’s came in not a single one of them fit properly. The best mans shoes did not fit, (how do you mess up a shoe size?)he was forced to wear tennis shoes. They all looked very Slouchy. Many attempts was made to contact them before the wedding NEVER once got a return call. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

What a nightmare and full of lies. This is the bride writing this review. Right off the bat, the owner of the shop was absolutely disgusting to the groom and his groomsmen, telling them if they weren’t interested, than to leave while the groom was on the phone with the bride discussing prices. Which is a complete private matter anyways, as we were budgeting for the wedding, not being cheap-sakes or as she made us feel. The Groom and his groomsmen felt uncomfortable as they were treated like garbage, but as a lot of the groomsmen were from out of town, we decided to go with them because it was the only chance we got for a fitting. Groomsmen and Groom felt very discriminated against. The owner processed to tell the Groom that the bride (me) did ALL my research and should’ve known about all the pricing and details, because of a previous phone call we had while making the appointment - I asked if the 40% off coupon displayed on their website was still active, and she told me it was. That was ALL the information I knew. She also told the Groom that she was appalled because this was the FIRST fitting she ever did without the BRIDE THERE. My fiancé at the time wanted a day out with his groomsmen to try on tuxes, and I trusted him. I HIGHLY doubt it was their first fitting without the bride there. We proceed to go with this company because they made the promise that the tuxes would be there a week before the wedding, AND if any problems arose with fitting, they would be able to overnight anything to insure everything was perfect for the wedding. Not only was this a lot of bull crap, we tried calling MULTIPLE times, multiple days, before the week before the wedding and NO ANSWERS. The owner made her own decision on the father of the bride’s tie and pocket sleeve, and we continuously told everyone we wanted BLUSH for everything. A week before the wedding came, and we are still trying to get ahold of this company. Finally, the Tuesday before the Saturday wedding, the groom, the mother + father of the bride went up there to SEE if the tuxes were there and why no phone calls were ANSWERED or delivered. The BEST MAN, tried on his tux and the pants were way too short and his shoes didn’t fit. Remember when we said that the owner told us they could overnight anything if there were errors? Yep. Lies. She told him he’s going to have to “deal with it”. Not ONE TUX was perfect or even somewhat. Everyone’s tux had a problem. The GROOMS tux was WAY too big that we had to add a belt, his shirt was too tight. He was so upset as he wanted to look his best for the big day, and felt so self conscious in this clown suit that was supposed to be his fancy tux. The BEST MAN had to wear completely different shoes, which didn’t match anyone else’s, we had five groomsmen and each of them had a problem with their tuxes being too big, sleeves being too short, and pants being too high. NONE of the things they told us were true. They told us that they could overnight ANYTHING and if it arrived Saturday, they would bring it to the venue. When we returned all the tuxes on the following Tuesday, we spoke with them, and told them all our problems. They then stated that they had everything there before the wedding to be replaced and fixed, but not ONCE did they call any of us or was these replacements shown to us, so we call bull crap, yet again. I will NEVER recommend this company to anyone. They were not professional, prompt, and should not be in the wedding service

I was very impressed and there are not enough words to describe my experience here. My stylist, Tiffany, was amazing and made me feel right at home, from the moment I walked in the door to the moment I walked out. I haven't bought my dress yet but I would go back again for the experience any day. My bridesmaid, my friends, my mother and I all very much enjoyed it and had a BLAST! I absolutely LOVE this place and cannot get enough of it!

Can’t say enough good things about Downtown Gowns! Best experience ever!
