I will start out the review by saying the food is top notch. Everything we tasted was delicious, and the guests will not stop raving about the steak and mac and cheese. Unfortunately however, working with Dream was more like a nightmare. We would have weeks go by with unanswered emails even after our deposit was sent. We had multiple email threads discussing pricing options with our “event specialist”going for over a year (yes, 12 months). Most of these emails were the bride and I asking for details on pricing so we could compare the different options (I.e. buffet, plated dinner, stations, etc). Finally, after repeatedly asking for some kind of actual price list I could view to see our options against our budget, I was given a pricing menu (after a year of emailing back and forth). I was immediately taken aback that a well constructed menu WITH PRICES was so readily available as this took multiple email threads and scheduled phone meetings to obtain. I was given the pricing menu just over 3 months prior to the wedding date. After we were given the pricing menu, lo and behold, it turned out that our event specialist was attempting to charge us 25% more per head for 25% less food (and we have the emails to prove it). The excuse given to us was that 2023 pricing was lower than 2022 pricing (apparently Dream Catering is the one business that lowered prices in that year). When called out for this, our specialist admitted fault but there was zero attempt to make it right and it lead to way more stress and anxiety than we needed in this process. Needless to say our contract at this point left us holding the bag. Food is amazing, but the customer is lacking and verging on a scam. Overall, I would have rather spent less money and had less stress from our caterer.

Dream Events and Catering is truly remarkable to work with. They were the catering team and event staff for my wedding at the Barn at Sycamore Farms, and they nailed every part of the day! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a kind, patient, responsive, delicious, fun, flexible, and talented team. They work with you to customize your food and bar menu to tailor to your event, desire, and needs. Their process is straightforward when you have so much on your plate. Lauren was my month of coordinator and was truly so sweet, responsive, and had the right amount of directive when needed. She literally held my hand through the parts I needed most. Lisa, Mary, Erin, and so many others stand out in my mind as being unbelievable in making all our food, decorations, and details come to light. Their response to emails was also so notable. The serving staff was also phenomenal. My husband and I still talk about them to this day. Myself, my husband, and every guest we talked to commented on how tremendous the service & staff was. Again, I would recommend them to anyone! Thank you!!

Dream Events and catering hit it out of the park for our wedding reception at Cheekwood! We served Honey Balsamic Chicken and Herb Roasted Beef Tenderloin as entrees and the white cheddar potatoes and roasted brussel sprouts as sides, and guests raved about both entrees and the food generally. It's easy for wedding catering to feel generic, but Dream Catering served flavorful, delicious food that really made our reception feel like a fine dining experience. We heard repeatedly from guests about how well seasoned and delicious the food was (a high compliment with phenomenal chefs as wedding guests). We also had a wonderful tasting experience and the communication/responsiveness from Dream Catering was thorough throughout our entire wedding planning experience. If you're considering Dream Catering for your event or wedding, do not hesitate! 10/10.

We loved the food from Dream at our wedding! Our guests were raving about it as well. Only knocking off one star because at the beginning, our event was passed between several event specialists and they charge a high percentage "operational cost" that I didn't find necessary. After working with the wonderful Danielle, we finally landed an amazing specialist, Hannah, and she worked so hard to make our rehearsal dinner and wedding absolutely perfect. Their food is expensive but delicious, make sure you get a great event specialist like Hannah!

Dream Events & Catering had amazing food and allowed us to make specific requests with ease and accommodations. Although the food was amazing, there were specific issues we did have with their policy's for example, the food could only be left out for 2 hours, and we weren't allowed to take more than the doggy bag they made us home. With the amount we spent on their services, it was shocking that we could not keep or take the food we had paid for. They were great at communicating and always got back quickly via email and phone calls; however, on the day of the event, a guest requested some food that they had cleared minutes, and the staff said no. My father had to go to the kitchen and get the food to allow it. They are a good caterer with great food, communication, and accommodation; however, with what they are charging, some of their policies need to be reviewed, and the support staff day of should be more supportive.

The best wedding food I've ever had, and my guests agreed. We had a full tasting menu (with leftovers!!) and the chef took notes of any preferences we had. My guests raved about it, and I made sure we got a to-go box at the end of the night. Great menu variety as well!

Dream Events and Catering is PHENOMENAL. They were a vendor for my wedding at CJ's off the Square and they nailed every part of the day! I would recommend them to anyone in the future and hope to use them again for another event. They work with you to customize your food and bar menu to tailor to your event. Their process is very easy and Jordyn their coordinator is on top of things prior to the event. Their food is better than any wedding food I've ever had. Everything is so fresh and presented like a 5-star restaurant. A few highlights are the beef crostini, crab cakes, gouda mac and cheese, and hot chicken baos. You can tell how much care and detail they put in. The staff that day were amazing. They always had enough food and drinks circulating. They treated every person with the best service. Myself, my husband, and every guest we talked to commented on how wonderful the service was. You truly felt like you were at an event with 5-star service. I would recommend them to anyone!!

Since my daughter and her fiancée wanted a short engagement we had 7 month timeline to make the wedding happen. Dream was on the preferred vendor’s list for the venue we booked so we contacted them along with a couple of others on the list. My daughter wanted plated meals and their pricing was the most reasonable for this of all the vendors we contacted. We did not use them for planning, other than they helped us procure the rentals we needed for the venue- which was a huge undertaking. We were glad to have their help and expertise. I cannot express how perfectly the actual wedding and reception went. Since we had to use the same space for both and it required a flip, the Dream staff had a lot to do. They executed everything flawlessly. The food was also perfect- as good as it was at the tasting. The guests all enjoyed the passed appetizers and many commented that the dinner was the best wedding food they have had. I would concur. Karly and Brianne were easy to work with and responsive to any questions or needs. I would highly recommend Dream if you are planning a wedding in Nashville.

We loved working with DREAM catering! The food, drinks and service for our wedding was absolutely fabulous. So many people told us that it was the best wedding food they have ever had by far. For 2 years, DREAM helped us plan our special day with patience and attention that we appreciate so much. Planning with them was easy and fun and so low stress. We asked for non-traditional food and service and they executed it so brilliantly. From the lunch as we got ready, to cocktails, to apps, and the crazy first course and main course that we picked, DREAM nailed it. They worked with us to create unique dishes that reflected our eclectic style and surprised our guests. Our strange timeline was perfectly executed and so wonderfully done. Their staff was SO great at their jobs--fast, efficient, kind and so so attentive. Everything far exceeded our expectations and it honestly still feels like a dream. We can't recommend them enough because of all their help, advice, and delicious food and drink. The day was breathtaking.

We used DREAM for our planning and catering and are so happy we did! The food was delicious and all of our guests remarked not only on how great the food was but how professional and efficient the staff were. Everyone was so impressed with the bartender’s super speedy service! Caitlin was our wedding planner and we absolutely adored her. We were so anxious and disorganized and she was always so patient, professional and funny. We left every call with her feeling better about the planning process. I would definitely recommend DREAM for both planning and catering!

We absolutely loved working with Dream Events for our wedding catering. From the initial meeting/tasting, we were made to feel special and they came across very prepared, competent, friendly, and easy to work with. These traits continued throughout the planning process and during our event. They were pro-active to schedule quick meetings to walk through event details to ensure they were prepared. On our wedding day, we had multiple guests compliment the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff. The food and drinks were also excellent. Throughout the process my husband and I reflected multiple times on how happy we were that we chose them. One of our favorite vendors and would highly recommend!

Dream Events & Catering was great! Our tasting occurred before vaccines were readily available and they did a great job of making sure we felt safe, while also providing a good experience. All of the staff the day of were very professional and the food was delicious! We've heard from several of our guests, that it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding.

I can't say enough good things about Dream's food and their amazing team. They go above and beyond for their clients. We use them at our venue but I also used them for my own wedding May 1 and was so thankful for all they did in the lead up to my event and on the day. Their team is so responsive and so accomodating. The tasting is so much fun and delicious. The service staff is always so eager to help and great with the guests. My guests were raving about the food days after. Thank you again Dream for helping me make our wedding everything we hoped it would be!

I found Dream through The Knot and reached out after looking through their expansive menu. I came in hot with a lot of anxiety and extremely specific dietary restrictions (maid of honor has autism and sensory issues; guests with severe food allergies; bride's family thinks pepper is spicy, etc.). From the beginning, they were accommodating, respectful, and collaborative. Based on that, I booked them and I'm so glad I did. The food was incredible. The service was impeccable. Every modification we discussed was honored, every safety precaution was taken. They even cut and served my cake! Guest responses were unanimously happy. The groom comes from a family of gourmands (with a few professionals sprinkled in) and they all cleaned their plates. The bride's picky relatives stuffed themselves. Nobody left hungry or disappointed. We got married outdoors and they managed to set up, serve, and break down with zero disruption to our goings-on. Heather was our main liaison and I am SO grateful to her for contributing to a perfect day!

Dream Events was a true DREAM! From the very first phone conversation, the team at DREAM made everything so seamless. They were able to customize us a beautiful brunch reception for our wedding, and the food was delicious! They truly were incredible, and I highly recommend!!

Dream went above any beyond my expectations for my wedding. From the initial communication, to the tasting, to the wedding, everyone we worked with was absolutely fabulous. In our tasting, they made us feel so special and the presentation of the food was beautiful. They carefully made notes about changes to the menu to make sure that what we had from the tasting looked and tasted exactly like it would at the wedding. Everyone at the wedding has nothing but great things to say and it made me proud and confident in choosing Dream. The only thing I wish was that I had been able to eat more on my big day! I highly recommend and will be using again for future events!

We used Dream for both full service planning and catering for our wedding and absolutely recommend them for both services! Planning -- don't skip this. Just don't! We worked with Kayli and her team and they were amazing. Hire them for vendor recommendations when you have NO idea where to start. Hire them so you don't have to ask a friend or family member to gather up all your belongings at the end of the night. Hire them so you have a professional opinion to bounce ideas off of whenever you need/want. Hire them for help with every little detail (like delivering your welcome bags to your hotels when that errand is the last thing you want to do). Not to mention they are friendly and so kind. At the end of our wedding, right before our sendoff when I KNOW Kayli had to be exhausted after a 12+ hour day for her, the first thing she said upon seeing us was, "I'm so sad it's over!!!" I thought that was so sweet. Catering -- food was delicious, guests were happy, AND we were complimented on our attention to our guests with dietary restrictions. I gave them the various restrictions and they made it happen, which I know made the guests feel comfortable rather than feeling like a nuisance. Also, Dream was great about working with our budget and menu until it fit just right within our overall budget -- I appreciated that flexibility so much. And, we had fun creating custom passed appetizers that fit with our summery, garden theme. I loved the creativity there!!! Like I said, would 100% book them again and you should too!

Amanda, Kristen, Rosie and the whole team at Dream catering is FANTASTIC. They were the best to work with during the entire process up to our wedding day. Everyone of our guests could not stop talking about how amazing the food was. Dream pays attention to every detail and then some, they are thoughtful with all decisions and truly made our wedding one we will never forget! Thank you so much. You NEED to have Dream do your next wedding or event.

Holly and Kristen were absolutely fabulous! We loved seeing our personalities reflected in our menu! Our tasting was so much fun and gave us one of our first glimpses into our big day. The food and presentation was just phenomenal and we are STILL getting compliments about the menu. They absolutely exceeded our expectations!

Katie and Kristen did such an incredible job helping to make sure that every detail of our wedding was perfect. From the beginning of the process to the wedding day, they helped to make the day absolutely perfect. Dream also did our catering, and the food was absolutely insane. People have still been calling me to try to get recipes and to ask me where we got our food from. Highly recommend!

My husband and I worked with Kristen and Kayli at Dream for our flowers and for wedding planning, and both were fantastic! Kristen and Kayli were always pleasant, present, and professional, and the flowers were gorgeously arranged. Dream truly helped pull our wedding together, and I don’t know what we would’ve done without them. I highly recommend their services!

AMAZING food!!!! I used Dream as my wedding catering service and they were fantastic! All the way from their food presentation to their amazing service, they hit it out of the park! The whisky pecan chicken is out of this world!! I highly recommend their catering services.

I worked with Rosie at Dream E&C to cater my Nov 2017 wedding reception. Overall, I was very happy with the service that was provided! Dream provided the servers, chefs, bar staff, and rentals (linens and dishes) for my family-style wedding reception. The food was provided by Chauhan Ale and Masala House. Rosie was easy to work with and communicated well. Setting up the service and obtaining all the appropriate rentals was straightforward. I would definitely recommend them!

We used Dream Catering for our wedding reception as well as our rehearsal dinner and the food was absolutely phenomenal at both even though they were two completely different types of food and styles of dinner. They were easy to work with and we only made one change to the meal after our tasting and they executed it perfectly! We got MANY complements from our guests and even got meals to take with us for late night snacks after the wedding! I would highly recommend Dream Catering for any of your catering needs-the desserts too were delicious!

Hailey and Kayli from Dream were the first people I spoke to after our engagement. I was a bride to be with a clear vision of what I wanted but no idea how to get there. These ladies listened to me and provided wonderful guidance before I had even made a decison to work with Dream. During our wedding planning process we met with around 5 caterers and in the end selected Dream for our catering and day of planning and we couldn't be more pleased. The food and service team were outstanding. Beautiful and delicious. Highly Reccomend. Hailey and Kayli as day of planners are true professionals. They delivered on everything (and more) that we discussed leading up to the big day and anticipated questions before I could even ask them day of. They truly helped me relax and enjoy our wedding day. These ladies are fantastic.

I can't say enough good things about Dream! Their customer service was fantastic - they put together a great tasting for us and really took the time to listen to what we wanted. They had creative suggestions to incorporate themes from our wedding into our food and they even did a custom plate for my husband (he really wanted hot chicken which we weren't planning on serving to all of our guests)! During our wedding, the catering staff was super attentive to our guests and did a great job. Most importantly, the food was amazing! There was a ton of it and we had many guests comment that it was the best wedding meal they ever had!

Dream was absolutely amazing! My wedding was amazing because of them! Kayli and Haley were the most amazing even coordinators in the world! I cannot say enough wonderful things about them, they were so professional and literally took care of everything for me! My wedding went so smooth all thanks to them! Not to mention how amazing the food and service was! They are such an amazing company, and I am so lucky that I used them! 100% recommend!

Having Dream Events and Catering as our caterers and wedding planners was the absolute BEST decision we ever made, and I can honestly say I don't know what we would have done without them. As wedding planners, Kayli and Hailey were sent from heaven for this mother of the bride who had no idea what to do, or where to start! I live out of state, and having them to turn to with my questions and concerns was just what I needed. They were always available to answer our questions, had such great ideas on how to do things, and they were on top of everything, down to the smallest details. They took the work and worries off of my husband and myself, and we were able to enjoy our daughters wedding day while they took care of everything! They were so wonderful, I just can't thank them enough! The food at the reception was absolutely delicious!!! From the appetizers to the main meal, it was all wonderful! All of our friends and family told us over and over how great everything was! They did a wonderful job with the food, the service, just everything they did made the reception everything we had hoped it would be! I read a lot of reviews on caterers and planners in the Nashville area, and I am so thankful that I made the phone call to Dream Events and Catering. If I had another wedding to plan I know without a doubt I would ask them to be our wedding planners and caterers! We are so very thankful we found them, and we will always be grateful to them for all of their hard work to make Haley and Jason's wedding day perfect!!! Thank you all again for everything, you are the BEST!!!

Dream needs a restaurant so I can eat there every night! The food at my wedding reception was just so good! We had a relaxed Nashville theme since we eloped months earlier and were only having a reception. Dream catered with hot chicken sliders, shrimp and grits, summer salad, and mac and cheese. Yummy!!! The dessert shooters were also to die for. The food was super good, and I was glad to have some leftovers. They were also able to accommodate me (a vegetarian) and my sister-in-law (a vegan) through every course. I really want to eat this food again. Yum!

Dream Events & Catering (they've changed their name from A Dream Come True, or ADCT) was fantastic at our September 2016 wedding. We interviewed 3 caterers and did a tasting with 2. What really sold us on Dream Events was Arlie Paris. Arlie met with us twice to talk about possible menus, our vision, and dietary guidelines. We wanted classy items but in a casual format. We went with passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour and food stations with heavier dinner options after we opened up the full reception space. The Dream Events & Catering team did all the the staffing and planning, as well as little things that really made the day go more smoothly: they picked up our cake, decorated the tables with our centerpieces, picked up our liquor, and packed up all the items we'd brought in to the venue. From the planning side, we could not have pulled off the wedding without Arlie! I'm not exaggerating either - our DJ went MIA on us, but thanks to Arlie we were able to book another DJ on the day before the wedding. Without her we definitely would have been too stressed out to function. Arlie was organized throughout the entire process, and she brought a great sense of calm. My spouse and I are big planners, so we tackled most of the big decisions and organization from the beginning. Planning from a distance was only possible with Arlie in town. As the date got closer we relied on Arlie more and more to help us pull it all together. Arlie kept up will all our plans and followed through up to the end. It was so nice to hand everything over to her in the days leading up to the wedding! I highly recommend Dream Events & Catering and especially Arlie Paris!

We had the absolute best experience with Dream Events and Catering! We had been having trouble with other caterers giving quotes much higher than the budget we had given them but that was not the case with Dream. We worked specifically with Jessica and she was an angel. She helped us come up with a delicious menu and was always suggesting ways to save money. On the day of the wedding, we couldn't have asked for a more professional service team from Dream. The buffet looked beautiful and guests were raving about the meal all night! Jessica made sure my husband and I were able to eat at the reception and even made to-go boxes for us to take home with us! Great experience all around!

A Dream Come True, really was a dream come true to work with. They provided an extra tasting for us when we were undecided and helped us to make our menu just how we wanted it. They were also so sweet and thoughtful that when they overheard a guest did not eat meat, they made them fresh salads without meat. Their food was amazing and they were great to work with. We received so many compliments on our dinner and late night snacks!

A Dream Come True Catering were amazing to have at our wedding! We had so many compliments on how amazing the food was but I would like to say the service was also terrific!! The staff was kind, helpful and professional. The staff also was extremely fantastic making sure plates were cleared if someone had finished and helping during cocktail hour. Leading up to our day Allison was extremely helpful and knowledgable. We found food that fit us as a couple but also our guests thought were amazing. ADCT were able to provide bartenders and all the goodies that come along with the bar (we only had to bring the alcohol). We provided them with recipes for our signature cocktails and they were absolutely perfect. I would absolutely recommend ADCT to a best friend knowing they would help make their day perfect!!

3 months later, we are still being told how delicious the food was at our wedding! We went with a buffet dinner for our wedding with the chicken and roast beef entrées. They were both incredibly delicious! A Dream Came True provided a tasting for us before the wedding which was delivered to our home so we could eat it with no pressure. I worked with Jessica and she was extremely helpful! She worked with me on staying within budget and made sure to introduce herself on our wedding day and ensure that everything was going as planned. The service during the reception was amazing. As soon as my husband and I made it to our seats, servers approached us to get our orders and make our plates! I have always heard about brides and groom that don't get to eat at their wedding, but A Dream Come True made sure that didn't happen. We were even sent away with to-go meals! An incredible catering company that went above and beyond our expectations!

They have amazing food choices and their staff is great! I recommend them!

Mave, our coordinator was fantastic!! She went above and beyond to help us select the perfect menu and she took EXCELLENT care of us on our wedding night as well as all our guests. We had SO many compliments on the food!

I don't even know where to begin.. Basically, they were life savers! I worked closely with Molly at ADCT catering. Once planning got further along Tasha helped as well. They were always prompt to meetings, patient, quick to reply to all my ridiculous questions and ideas, extremely knowledgable, and firm when they needed to be. When it comes to a day of coordinator, you need someone who isn't afraid to lay down the law based on what the bride and groom want. They, of course, were very professional in doing so. I would recommend using them for everything from catering to event rentals to day of coordinating. They helped make my dream wedding day become a reality.

Food tasted great and there was plenty of it. No one went hungry! They were the exclusive caterer for our venue, so we were pleased that the food tasted good. It was a little pricey although they worked with us to get the meal to something that we wanted and could afford (higher than what we hoped, though). They weren't always responsive to our questions and some answers took a while to get. Dinner service the day of was slower than we anticipated, but it wasn't a big problem. The caterers ordered all the napkins, dishware and coordinated the table placement. The napkins were not what we ordered (they were a nicer fabric, conveniently). It worked out fine and they looked nice, but it was disappointing to not get what we ordered. Overall the event went well and we were complimented on the meal, so that is what is most important.

We initially chose A Dream Come True (ADCT) for a simple reason: They agreed to do a special sushi order just for my bride outside of the menu we presented to our guests. Their willingness to be flexible right off the bat in this way assured us that they’d be a great choice. And we couldn’t have been happier! Our menu included passed canapés early on, chef-manned stations as the feature, and late-night snacks before the festivities ended. We selected our menu based on our personal preferences, opting to go with taste over theme, and it turned out delicious! The smoked brisket, shrimp and grits bar, and crab cakes stations were battling long lines all night, as our guests just couldn’t get enough! And topping the night off with gourmet pigs in blankets and fried chicken shooters left the guests happy and full for the rest of their night. ADCT was a delight to work with throughout the planning process, and their food was simply spectacular. Definitely a good choice!
