Location of this hotel is amazing. Right down town next to anything you need. We were able to walk to anything we wanted to do in regards to eating, drinking, and shopping. Their lobby cafe, Dawn has some amazing coffee and pastries, and their ...
bar, dusk, has an amazing cocktail menu and some of the freshest oysters we’ve had. The room design is thoughtful, and efficient. For their limited size, they are beautiful, and functional. We loved our stay here and will be back.

We LOVED our stay at Drift Santa Barbara when we visited a few weeks ago. So much so, that after being home for two weeks, I felt the need to write this review and affirm all that the hotel had to offer us.

ccess our room so easily, and let us streamline the start of our trip wonderfully. Jackie made us feel so welcomed and valued from the moment we walked onto the property, shoutout to Jackie! Not mention the beautiful rooms, sleek architecture, and next level hospitality. The location is at the heartbeat of what Santa Barbara has to offer, and walking distance to the beach! We love, love, loved our stay here, and will definitely be returning soon!

ts of music, bars and good food around. Their bar and coffee shop are really great! Also, the design of the hotel is very stylish! The customer service is also great, they helped us with all of our requests. They also do complimentary yoga on Saturday mornings. The basic rooms are a little small (which is understandable because they’re located right in downtown and the space is limited), but you can upgrade for larger rooms with beautiful views to the city. We saw the review from the previous guests about the street noise / city night life that you can hear in the rooms on the first floor and we asked to change our room to the second floor and it was perfect. There was no noise and we slept really great. Overall, it’s a very stylish hotel.

seen anywhere. Every detail is carefully considered, creating a relaxing and luxurious atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.
The staff deserves a special mention: they were incredibly kind, always helpful, and radiated positivity. Their efficiency and friendly attitude made the stay even more enjoyable. Every request was met with a smile, and they went above and beyond to ensure the experience was perfect.
If you’re looking for a hotel that offers top-notch quality and impeccable service, Drift is definitely the right choice in Santa Barbara!

The designers did an excellent job; it’s a beautiful hotel with amazing rooms and great lighting. I was pleasantly surprised to find robes in the room.
However, the check-in process was a disaster. We checked in online for a “smoother arrival”...
and uploaded ID and credit card, but they never sent us the room number or door code. Instead, we had to wait for the bartender to serve guests, and then he had to go through the check-in process all over again, including uploading our ID and credit card. It didn't feel like a high-quality hotel experience; rather, it felt disorganized and confusing. Our room was finally ready around 4:15 PM.
Additionally, there was a broken chair in the room, which was surprising since housekeeping should have noticed it. We requested a replacement, but they informed us that they haven’t had a chair to replace it with and offered to remove it instead.
Overall, our stay was enjoyable due to the beautiful and comfortable room, but the service left much to be desired.
