If you have the opportunity to work with Monika from Duarte take advantage of it! Where do I begin? Her floral arrangements are stunning, but her vision to make our wedding ceremony and reception come to life was flawless. She put together an amazing driftwood arch for us and used lanterns to line the aisle for our beach ceremony. She then repurposed everything from the ceremony to decorate our reception space. She even designed a lounge with wingback chairs, couch and pillows for our guests which was a huge hit. She is a consummate professional and is an expert in her field. She is a pleasure to work with.

Words cannot even BEGIN to describe the genius that is Monika Duarte. When I say that she made my wedding the most beautiful wedding that I have ever seen, I am not exaggerating. People quite literally gasped upon entering my reception. The bridal bouquet and bridesmaids flowers made myself and several of my bridesmaids cry. She is an absolute visionary. Believe me when I say that of you are debating hiring her, debate no more. DO IT. Do yourself a favor. She will surpass any expectations that you could ever have and absolutely blow you away. It also helps that she is one of the nicest people that you will ever meet. I am genuinely in awe of her and this review does not even begin to do her justice.

Monika is incredible! She and her team turned our wedding into the tropical fairytale wedding of our dreams. The lush tropical floral arrangements created by Monika and her team were even more beautiful than we expected. Monika is awesome to work with. Prior to the wedding she took the time to meet with us to discuss our vision for the wedding. She nailed it! She graciously handled a last minute addition to the wedding party. I felt so much joy when I walked down the aisle saw the incredible temple of love “arch” she created. My bouquet was the most beautiful floral arrangement I’ve ever seen. Everything Monika touched was gorgeous. We have received nonstop complements on her work. We feel so lucky to have had the best floral design team ever create our special day. We highly recommend working with Duarte Floral. ❤️

Recommended by our venue Duarte Florals were great to work with! Very flexible with budget and ideas. Was able to accommodate last minute add -on floral arrangements. Sent pinterest photos and ideas for wedding floral arrangements they were able to replicate beautifully as well as inform us which flowers to choose based on look and price etc... very informative about flowers and which are best to use. Very responsive via email and phone. They are familiar with Key West and our venue at the Hemingway Home along with our cake shop we used for florals on our wedding cake. Definitely recommend.

Monika & her crew at Duarte Floral Design are artists. She was so easy to work with- great with communication/response. She created gorgeous and elegant arrangements for our wedding. We are beyond thankful for the decor and beauty that Duarte created for our special day.

Monika and everyone at Duarte really pulled out the stops for our wedding at the Hemmingway Home on 4/25/21. The flowers were so beautiful from the ceremony to the reception, I was blown away. We also planned our wedding from Maryland and Monika was very responsive with all of my questions and definitely made me less stressed. I loved my flowers so much I am having them pressed into a frame. Cannot recommend this florist enough.

Monika and her team did the most BEAUTIFUL florals for our wedding day in Key West. We originally booked Duarte for a 150+ person wedding in May 2020 which soon became an small postponed elopement in February 2021 due to COVID. She was incredibly patient + accommodating + adaptable as our wedding and floral plans drastically changed and she still gave us the most perfect floral display that we ever could have hoped for on our amended budget. We managed to do almost all of our conversations virtually and she was always available for quick back + forth emails, amended contracts, etc. I was brought to tears coming down the aisle and seeing the arch + monsterra arrangement that we had spent two years talking about finally coming to life. The tears came again seeing the beautiful tables down the smallest detail from the candles, the pineapple vases, the gorgeous whites + greens, the gold chargers. We even did mini pineapple boutonnieres for the groomsmen + groom that she flew in from Japan. I truly cannot thank Monika enough for making our day absolutely beautiful.

Monika is an artist! The flowers were really important to me for my wedding. I wanted to keep it simple, natural and romantic. When I told Monika my vision she immediately understood what I was looking for. When I walked into our venue and saw our wedding table I was amazed at how beautiful everything looked. She has such an eye for color and knew the best flowers to pick to pull out the colors from my bridesmaids dresses. The whole team at Duarte was extremely professional and went above any beyond. When my husband and his groomsmen were having trouble getting the boutonnieres on, Monika came over to pin them on their suits. She also adjusted my bouquet last minute when I asked if we could make it smaller. Their team is amazing! You wont regret picking them as your florist.

Duarte Floral Design is simply the best! Duarte Floral created designs for our wedding and reception that, in our view, ranks among the top florists in the world. Equipped with only a few photos I had flagged on Pinterest, Monika's team executed elegant and sophisticated arrangements that were even better than my lofty expectations, including a 10 foot wide archway of white hydrangeas, and an 8 foot tall cascading "white flower tower" which was the centerpiece of our reception. Truly spectacular! You will want to see photos of her exquisite arrangements. We recommend Duarte Floral Design without hesitation.

My vision for our wedding flowers was executed perfectly by Duarte Floral Design. I cannot say enough about the service, responsiveness, professionality, quality, and attention to detail that Monika and her team provided. I was very specific about the style and aesthetic I envisioned: romantic, lush, dreamy, “like a fresh-picked bouquet from a seaside garden”… Monika accomodated all of my requests while working with me to keep costs down. The final product was magical— our breathtaking flowers set the perfect tone for our wedding day, and really brought me so much joy. Monika and Pat were a pleasure to work with and went above and beyond to work within my budget. I found exactly what I wanted on Pinterest but it was way too expensive, Monika worked with me to create something identical but with more affordable flowers. Our flowers could not have been more beautiful and I could not be more happy with the quality of work and the professionalism of Duarte Floral. 10 stars!!!

Wow.. just wow! Duarte Floral Design made my wedding dreams come true. I have had countless compliments on my flowers and decor. Monika took my vision and ran with it. I had elegant tropical flowers and fillers that made my destination wedding come to life. The day after the wedding I stared in awe at the large flower arrangement I brought back to my room. I could have never imagined the beauty and joy King Protea's, Pincusions and Coontie Palms could bring me on my wedding day! Monika's company also provided beautiful lanterns, table numbers and welcome table decor. She also worked with me to ensure my bridal bouquet was precisely as I envisioned. Monika is one of the most talented florists I've ever encountered. I HIGHLY recommend choosing her company. She has a knack for listening to your ideas and turning them into a real life fairy tale. Choosing Duarte Floral was one of the best decisions we made!

Monika and her team delivered exactly what I had envisioned for my bouquet, flower arrangements, etc. We discussed everything over the phone and email but I was never concerned about the quality of product I would receive. Duarte Floral Design was an exceptional choice and I 10/10 recommend!

The flowers for my wedding were absolutely stunning! Duarte really created a magical dreamlike ambiance with their design and I was literally blown away!! Soooo many compliments from my guests. Highly recommend them, they were excellent and very easy to work with. I was out of state and able to FaceTime with them to pick out the details from their studio as well as view a table setting.

When I asked my planner (Destination Wedding Studio) for a fuchsia wedding inspired by bougainvillea she didnt blink an eye. I wasn't quite sure how it would be pulled off without looking super tacky but Monika from Duarte was the answer. From our first meeting I was sold on her artistry. It is so clear that she is a true artist in all the floral work that she does. She had all the insight on the types of flowers we could use and the exact look I wanted. We spoke over the phone and she walked me through the entire estimate so I was comfortable with it. She wanted to make sure I was onboard but I told her I trusted her to make all the right decisions and she did. I sent her a few photos of what I was looking for and she created the most dreamy of a fuchsia filled wedding I have ever seen. I must say I winced a bit at the price of my florals (I did ask for a hanging feature and orchids were the main flower so it makes sense) but it was beyond what I was expecting. The day of the wedding we were all getting dressed as floral after floral after floral passed us by. I was so excited to see the final product and it was amazing. There is no way anyone else would have been able to create such a beautiful atmosphere as she did. Everyone was raving about the flowers for days. Where do I begin to say thank you to Monika and Patricio for their beautiful floral designs for my daughter’s wedding? I have honestly never seen such amazing flowers in my life and Monika made our vision come to life. She was so kind, creative, warm and wonderful to work with. I wish for every bride to have the good fortune to have Monika’s designs be the centerpiece of the most important day in her life. My daughter was a beautiful bride, but Duarte’s floral arrangements, bouquet, and décor made her and her wedding look like a dream. Please, moms … choose Duarte and you will never regret it. Nov 18th, 2017 - Jersey Bride - Key West - The only word I can think of is speechless. My floral design was absolutely perfect. My wedding planner (Peggy with Destination Wedding Studio) recommended Monika and I am so glad she did. First of all Monika was such a pleasure to work with. Everything we did was over the phone but she completely understood my vision and made my wedding look like a pintrest photo. I only told her I wanted bright flowers with 3 hanging structures in the middle of the room. WOW!!! It was perfect. When working with Monika she provided me with a detailed flower list so I could google each flower to see the color and shape. We went through each flower to make sure it hit my vision (by the way, everything she picked out was perfect). We also discussed different center pieces and design elements for each table. I wish I could post photos to this review because my words do not do it justice. Absolutely, 100% recommend Durante Floral Design.

I absolutely ADORED working with Duarte Floral, they are so talented, kind, artistic and amazing people! We are so thankful for the patience, the solidarity and dedication they had towards our wedding! My bouquet was AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL, better than what I always wanted! Dream drop dead gorgeous arrangement! Same for my bridesmaids, flower girls crown, church decor and centerpieces! We had to move the date of our wedding forward which lead us to have a little details uncovered, like the flower baskets and Monika was so gentil on lending it to us. They will work with you, your pallet of colors, your decoration, your needs, wishes and they will give you advices until you find the best combination of flowers for your big day! My flowers from Duarte were absolutely beautiful! I'm not really a flower girl, so when I sent them a vague "this is what I like" inquiry and they didn't call for an hour long phone consult, I was sold. It was like they knew- they sent me a price estimate based on what I told them and it was incredibly reasonable. When the flowers were delivered on my wedding day, I was blown away. They were perfect. Exactly what I had in mind, but better :) Our total was ,$1,500 for 6 bridesmaids bouquets, a bridal bouquet and ceremony decor, including set up and take down.
