Words cannot describe how much we loved our wedding and the amazing service of Maggie & the Eagle Ridge staff. I was never one to picture my wedding but the final execution exceeded all expectations. From the initial tour answering all of our questions, to our tasting (AMAZING FOOD BTW), to coordinating with vendors and lastly, the day of - Maggie was attentive, helpful and a key reason why our day was as magical as it was. The venue itself had our guests in awe with the holiday decor and overall ambience of the event. They loved that they had access to free shuttles to and from the event. They loved the food - we've heard nothing but good things about the soup, dinner and sweets that were served. I keep replaying the weekend over and over again and can't wait to make our way back to Eagle Ridge to relive it. 1000000000/10 can't recommend this place enough!

We had our wedding at Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa in Nov 2023 and it was the most spectacular wedding! Maggie is exceptional to work with. Throughout the planning process Maggie was always an email or phone call away and more than happy to help. I cannot say enough how my vision came to life for our wedding day. The ENTIRE staff at Eagle Ridge was beyond accommodating and welcoming to all of our guests. The food was delicious - all of our guests loved the soup (their version of corn chowder) and their main dishes. They food was presented beautifully. Honestly I could keep going on about how wonderful this venue is and how magical our wedding was. If you are considering this venue - DO IT

My husband and I had our ceremony and reception at Eagle Ridge in October, and we can't say enough positive things about the experience. The location is beautiful, and we received so many compliments from guests about the food, but the best thing about Eagle Ridge is the fantastic staff. From planning to the wedding day, everything went smoothly. Maggie and her team are extremely prompt, professional, and detail-oriented; Maggie was so helpful during the planning process by providing us with resources, suggestions, timelines, and reminders as needed. Maggie and her team made sure everything was taken care of and went smoothly for the ceremony and reception, which meant my husband and I could focus on spending time with our guests. I'd highly recommend Eagle Ridge; working with them made the whole wedding planning experience 1000x less stressful.

We had our wedding weekend at Eagle Ridge and it was absolutely perfect! Thank you to Alisha who was our main contact from the beginning, she was wonderful to work with from beginning to end. Alisha, Maggie and Sarah on the wedding team made our weekend such a success and were there for anything we needed from the moment we arrived until the time we checked out. The Woodland's Restaurant & Bar team were great, our family and friends kept them busy from Friday - Sunday and received great service throughout the entire weekend. My husband and I got married at Eagle Ridge Resort in August 2022 and the entire weekend was incredible thanks to the team at Eagle Ridge Resort! I could not have been happier with how our day went and even the smallest details were taken care of. Maggie and the entire team was available and ready to help with anything we needed the entire weekend. Lucky for us, and because of their help throughout the entire planning process, everything went so smoothly! The food was delicious, the venue was beautiful, and our guests had a wonderful time. I cannot speak more highly of Eagle Ridge Resort and we look forward to coming back many more times!

As soon as we stepped foot in to Eagle Ridge Resort, we knew this was our venue. Everything about the space (both inside & out) is breathtaking. The space is naturally beautiful & we loved the beautiful views. Working with Alisha was so easy! She was quick to respond, patient with my many questions, & went above & beyond to make our wedding day the most perfect day. She truly put me at ease throughout the entire wedding process, but especially during the wedding. I knew I didn't need to worry about any of the details on our big day, because Alisha had it handled. Every staff member that we encountered was professional & courteous. We are so thankful to have a great location to revisit for our anniversary in the future. Thank you Eagle Ridge for making our wedding day our new best day ever!

Maggie and her team made our wedding day magical. We were impressed by the ease of communication and attention to detail during the planning process. On our wedding day, Maggie and her team coordinated everything including the deliveries, and room setup, and kept us on schedule. We felt incredibly supported and were able to enjoy every minute of the wedding weekend thanks to Maggie and her team.

Maggie and the entire Eagle Ridge team are absolutely AMAZING! We had such a wonderful experience from start to finish and would recommend getting married at Eagle Ridge time and time again. Maggie worked with us for 18 months in helping to plan our perfect day. She was so kind and so responsive throughout the entire planning process and was always a calm and steady presence. She had great ideas of her own due to her many years of experience but was also willing to hear our ideas and helped make them possible/come to life. On the big day, Maggie, Sarah, and Alisha were all so present and so helpful - making sure everything was running smoothly and was going as it should. They were all so wonderful to work with! The food at the wedding was DELICIOUS! The hor'dourves during cocktail hour were great and the spread at the dinner was absolutely incredible. We did the “stations” option and have heard from MANY of our guests that it was “the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding and beyond.” Our little desserts + cake (from Carolyn!) were also delicious and everyone loved the variety and options they were able to choose from! We also had the Stonedrift Spa team do the bridal party hair and makeup - they were awesome and the hair and makeup held out all day. Abbi was great to work with to help with day-of logistics and the hair/makeup schedule, Ashley was so kind and wonderful to work with while doing our hair and made our visions come to life (I don’t know how she does it!), and Madison was fun and so kind - it was impossible to not be laughing and enjoying yourself while she was doing our makeup. They were so incredible and did our makeup/hair right onsite, which made it so easy when it was time to get ready! (We also enjoyed a couples massage at the Spa the day after the wedding - Jennifer and Todd were fabulous!) The Eagle Ridge Reservations team was also great to work with, making sure we had the right lodging and accommodations for our guests. The hotel and villas/rental properties were perfect for our guests and the shuttle made it easy for folks to get around! The whole hotel staff and team were so kind and welcoming to our guests. Mike helped coordinate a golf outing that was perfect for the groomsmen + family/friends in town on Friday and was so flexible when we needed to increase our group size. The group had a great time and it was definitely a highlight of the weekend! We couldn’t be happier with our decision to get married at Eagle Ridge. The Galena Territory has always been so special to our family, but it is even more special now. The location was stunning (Point Patio deck for the wedding and the Ballroom for the reception), but it was the Eagle Ridge team and their hard work and kindness that truly made this the most special day. Thank you Maggie and team for everything! We can’t wait to come back to visit.

Our guests could not stop talking about how kind, helpful and incredible the service and staff was at Eagle Ridge. Truly, the sweetest, most professional people to work with on your wedding weekend and beyond. From the first meeting, where Maggie went above and beyond for us, to our tasting , to the full weekend of activities - Eagle Ridge and Maggie delivered. All around our experience was incredible. Our day ran so smoothly, looked gorgeous and our guests had the best time. We did not have to worry about a thing, down to Maggie grabbing me a drink before hitting our cocktail hour. We could not have had the fun, magical and love filled wedding we did without Eagle Ridge. I highly recommend this gorgeous venue with this amazing team!

Guest Count: 242 Our wedding at Eagle Ridge was absolutely AMAZING. We were worried about weather a few days out, but it turned around and made for a beautiful day. Also major shoutout to our wedding planner from Couture Events, Suzanne Halaska, she was amazing and kept everything running smoothly since day 1. We had the ceremony out on Point Patio with the gorgeous backdrop of the lake. *MAJOR shoutout to Samantha Ritchie (our florist) who went above and beyond to make everything look beautiful.* Cocktail hour was also on Point Patio which gave guests beautiful views of the lake. The reception was held in the Eagle Ballroom which was decorated with greenery and looked AMAZING. Better than what we could have even imagined. During sunset we stepped out to the deck and it made for some gorgeous photos. Overall, we were very pleased and grateful to have our wedding here. Alisha & Maggie were absolutely phenomenal and kept everything running smoothly. So many guests commented on the resort and the small town and how much they loved it there. We will certainly be back to celebrate our anniversaries and will be staying again in their lovely houses/villas. **Houses and villas made for a GREAT part of the wedding weekend. Highly recommend having your wedding here with Alisha & Maggie and highly recommend using the florist Samantha Ritchie. Oh, and Jess Farlow is THE BEST officiant. Everyone commented on him and LOVED him.

Our wedding at Eagle Ridge was amazing. Maggie, the wedding coordinator, is extremely professional, friendly, and helpful. I couldn't have asked for a better venue coordinator. We had to postpone our wedding due to COVID, and she was right by our side the entire time - extremely flexible, comforting, and kind. My favorite thing about having our wedding here was that everything was in one place - the ceremony, the reception, and the lodging for guests. Guests didn't have to travel from one place to another or worry about shuttles. It was truly a perfectly seamless day. Our timeline was executed perfectly by the staff, leaving me without a single concern! During photos and cocktail hour, Maggie and other staff were consistently checking in on my husband and me, asking if we needed anything, bringing us water and hors d'ouevres to make sure we were getting time to eat. You can tell the wedding office is 100% focused on giving the bride and groom the best day possible. We highly recommend Eagle Ridge for weddings, and we are so grateful for all of their hard work.

I cannot say enough about the wedding team of Maggie, Alisha, and Sarah at Eagle Ridge. I had a vision for a Harvest table for all of our guests and they made it happen beyond my expectations. They worked with me with everything from the rehearsal to helping make sure my timeline was followed the day of the wedding and a parting breakfast for the guests the day after the wedding. I highly recommend this venue. The best part was the banquet package was all inclusive including the open bar and champagne toast.

Eagle Ridge was an absolute dream location for our December wedding. Maggie was amazing the entire weekend. Eagle ridge is beautiful, the food is great, it feels homey, and is all around a great place to have a wedding. I cannot say enough how great Maggie and all the wedding staff were from rehearsal dinner to wedding to the farewell breakfast!

Eagle Ridge was the perfect place to host our wedding celebration last month! Maggie and her team were so genuine and intentional with every interaction we had and with every update my husband and I needed to make, even just days before the wedding date. Planning a wedding (twice) during a pandemic was far from easy but we never worried about our wedding venue or our vendor team--each and every person we worked with was so thoughtful and patient with us during such an uncertain time. If you are looking for a beautiful view and a group of staff that so clearly cares about the success and care that goes into your wedding day, I highly recommend Eagle Ridge! You will not be disappointed.

We had the most amazing experience having our wedding ceremony and reception at Eagle Ridge. Maggie was very responsive throughout the whole planning process. When the weekend came, Maggie and her team were very punctual and professional in getting everything organized and ready. They did an amazing job making our dream wedding come to life! Everything ran smoothly and the food was fantastic. We did the buffet with Italian station so there was something for everyone! We received countless compliments from our guests about what an amazing day it was!

We got engaged at Eagle Ridge (at the waterfall) in 2018 and immediately knew that was where we wanted to get married. We signed our contract by the end of the year and started planning a 250 person May 2020 dream wedding. Spoiler alert: that didn’t happen. What DID happen turned out to be even more perfect, thanks to Maggie and the rest of the team at Eagle Ridge. They made the decision to postpone our wedding as painless as possible and Maggie helped us to reimagine our day as it evolved into a 50 person weekend getaway with a reception dinner. Thanks to Maggie we were able to relax that whole weekend and spend quality time with our guests. She helped plan a welcome dinner at the Highlands Restaurant, golf with the groom, a hair and makeup team for 11 of us, lunch and mimosas during our getting ready time, the reception, AND a farewell brunch. Throughout planning and the actual weekend she and her team were very attentive and made sure every detail was taken care of. The property itself is gorgeous and has so many amenities to offer for a wedding venue. Our photos around the property turned out beautiful and our guests were so impressed with the scenery on Point Patio, where we had our reception. Our meals were all so delicious, and our guests are still talking about the Sinnablast dessert we got for each table to try- an Eagle Ridge specialty. We looked at multiple venues before we initially booked, all in Illinois and all on a golf course. The prices were pretty comparable, but Eagle Ridge had everything we were looking for and we are so glad we decided to have our wedding there!

Wedding Review: Maggie and Sasha were both so responsive and helpful during the wedding planning process. With Covid throwing a wrench into what seemed like everything, we were still able to have a wonderful day where our 43 guests felt safe. We had to downsize due to Illinois restrictions and change up seating arrangements and food service, however Maggie still made the day ours! Our guests raved about feeling safe and clean the entire event indoors and outdoors. They loved the food and being able to make weekend getaways themselves in Galena. The bridesmaids loved a spa day while the groomsmen enjoyed a round of golf the day before. We wish covid wasn't around, but were still so glad to celebrate our love in an unexpectedly perfect way at Eagle Ridge!

We got married at Eagle Ridge on Sept 6, 2020, in a small ceremony of 20 people at Patio Point overlooking Lake Galena. The Eagle Ridge accommodations and staff were wonderfully beyond expectations. Colin, Maggie, and Sasha helped bring our special day to life and made it one we'll never forget. From multiple ceremony rehearsals that Sasha and Maggie endured at our request to last-minute accommodations to Colin's multi-store trek to secure bug spray for us (of which we didn't end up needing as it was beautiful weather), we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Following our ceremony, we held a small dinner party at House 540 which was the perfect setting. This was our "home base" for the duration of Labor Day weekend and the majority of our family stayed in this house. It was very clean with plenty of space for fun and relaxation! My Dad was even able to squeeze in a round of golf over the weekend. As a non-golfer, I'll take his word for it when he says its a great course to play. Regardless of why you're visiting Eagle Ridge, make sure you check out Thunder Bay Falls. Patio Point and Thunder Bay Falls are perfect for the 'gram. We live in Chicago and our original plan was to have our wedding party at a hip bar in Wicker Park for 150 of our closest friends. COVID obviously changed those plans drastically. While it wasn't our original plan, we are grateful that the circumstances pushed us to Eagle Ridge - a beautiful place to safely spend a long weekend with our close family & friends and create an ever-lasting memory.

Our wedding at Eagle Ridge was absolutely beautiful! We had the best experience! Jake and I were so lucky to have Maggie as our wedding coordinator- she helped us for the past 2 years of planning. She was very responsive and always there whenever we had questions or needed help with something! When we were unable to get married in April of 2020 (thanks Covid) she helped us pick a back up date and was there with us through it all. Luckily, August 30th we were finally able to have our day! The entire staff was so accommodating there! They made our day incredibly special. We are forever grateful of Eagle Ridge staff and also the Stondedrift Spa staff too. They made my girls and I look beautiful and made our morning of the wedding so easy. Julie has the entire morning planned, which let me relax (as much as I possibly could). If you’re looking for a rustic, elegant venue in Illinois- this is your place! The scenery is breathtaking!

Everything was perfect! The team was amazing, especially Maggie. I cannot say enough nice things about Maggie. She was there EVERY step of the way. She listened to our requests and made sure everything went off without a hitch! The venue was gorgeous and looked like a winter wonderland. The ceremony in front of the large windows was magically, we had a sunset ceremony and the pictures are stunning! I do wish there was a privacy curtain for the aisle, however everything was perfect!

I wish there was an option to give more stars. Maggie and her team went above and beyond for our special day. All of our visions were fulfilled. We had no stress’s or hiccups on our day all because of Maggie! She added a few special touches that made our night even more special. The food was great and the staff was great. Maggie even surprised us with a special gift that was an engraved wine bottle. We truly thought our night was so beautiful and It was because of Maggie and her team. Maggie always had great communication and was very helpful and fast. The venue was just perfect inside and out. I wish I could give more stars because that’s how wonderful the eagle ridge team is!

We had the most delightful experience having our wedding at The Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa. It was about 2.5 hours away from home – just far enough to be a weekend away, but not too far that everyone we loved wouldn’t’ be able to make it. Maggie Truppa was great – whenever I had crazy ideas or questions pop into my head I could reach out to her and she would guide me through the process. We had our ceremony and reception on the Point Patio – and the views were breathtaking. Everything went smoothly and I finally understand why everyone spends so much money and time planning their wedding – it truly was the best day of our lives and Eagle Ridge helped make that happen!

My husband and I celebrated our wedding weekend at Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa in September and are so happy that we did! Friday night Welcome Party at Woodstone restaurant was everything we wanted and so wonderful for guests coming in for the long weekend. Cocktail hour at Pointe Patio with gorgeous views and of course our reception was set in the Eagle Ballroom with the beautiful floor to ceiling windows and wrap around deck overlooking the lake. The entire wedding coordinating team was wonderful every step of the planning process. All guests had only good things to say about the appetizers, meals, and cocktails. We will definitely be spending our anniversaries coming back to Eagle Ridge to relive our beautiful and memorable weekend. THANK YOU EAGLE RIDGE!

Beautiful area for outside ceremony!. Reception is ball room is amazing! Maggie was our coordinator. She was prompt, helpful/kind and detailed. She helped make our day perfect! The food was delicious, our guest loved the food and cake.

Eagle Ridge is such a beautiful location for the Midwest! We wanted our guests to have a mini getaway, which is why we chose Eagle Ridge for our wedding + it's so gorgeous there! We rented houses for our bridal parties + families- which made getting ready for our wedding so easy + fun! The houses also allowed us to spend more time with our loved ones + it felt like one big, best friend reunion. The guys loved being able to golf, while the gals explored downtown! With all of the festivities, the complimentary Eagle Ridge shuttles were perfect for traveling safely within the Galena Territories. The food and service were excellent!! I highly recommend doing the sweets bar as well, as that was a huge hit for our guests + a phenomenal display as well! I also loved being able to have the option to do late night snacks for our guests - the pizza helped to refuel those dancing spirits!! We had our reception in The Eagle Ballroom which is rustic + natural with its beautiful wooden beams, chandeliers, and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Lake Galena and let's not forget about the AMAZING deck they have as well that is perfect for cocktail hour + you want a fresh breeze + stunning views. Point Patio is where we held our ceremony + it was absolutely beautiful- it also overlooks Lake Galena and is is surrounded by tall trees. The resort itself offers so many amazing amenities for guests to do + have which help make your stay so memorable + relaxing! I truly felt my wedding day ran so smoothly because of my all-star vendor team + the staff of Eagle Ridge were INCREDIBLE!! Special shoutout to Maggie Truppa - one of the wedding coordinators! You are in excellent hands under her guidance!!! ! She made the planning process enjoyable + and eased my stress with how responsive, patient, efficient, organized, professional, kind, and genuine she was! Any bride is lucky to have Maggie as their coordinator! She is such a great communicator with every email + phone call + all throughout the wedding day!! There were no surprises on my big day, because they really ensure that all the big things + little things are decided and covered. I can honestly say that my wedding day went so smooth because of her + how organized Eagle Ridge is and I could not be more grateful. Eagle Ridge is a beautiful wedding venue. We had our perfect wedding here. Rika was extremely helpful as the wedding coordinator. The views and the resort are gorgeous. Food was outstanding! Highly recommended.

The entire experience at Eagle Ridge was absolutely phenomenal for our wedding. We made several visits to Eagle Ridge during the planning phase and they were all phenomenal. We worked with three different wedding planners at Eagle Ridge, all of which were phenomenal, especially Maggie Truppa. We had our wedding downtown in Grant Park and our reception in the main ballroom back at Eagle Ridge. The customer service at Eagle Ridge is first class. We rented their signature home #604 for the welcome party and that was wonderful. The bellman repeatedly came out to deliver ice and fresh towels and pick up any garbage. The reception couldn't have gone any better. Maggie coordinated everything perfectly with all of our vendors and the night flowed perfectly. I would recommend Eagle Ridge to anyone! Oh and we also had a 60 player golf outing at The General (signature golf course) and they gave us a great rate and treated us awesome. The course was in great shape too! Good service, GREAT location, it was nice to have a one stop shop since we were out of towners. The deck was the perfect place for our small ceremony and the food was top notch! There were a few things that didn't go as planed, but overall - I would recommend it!

Eagle Ridge is the most beautiful place to have a wedding and Megan Carter and Rika Thibodeaux made planning an absolute dream. We had our rehearsal dinner at Woodstone Restaurant, our ceremony at the Point Patio, and our reception in the Eagle Ballroom. There isn't a place on the whole property that doesn't have stunning views. Our guests raved about their accommodations. The villas there are gorgeous and spacious. I knew absolutely nothing when it came to wedding planning, but Megan took me, my husband and our parents by the hand and guided us every step of the way. Eagle Ridge is clearly set up so well for weddings, which was already amazing. They have the classiest materials and decor and all the staff know exactly what they are doing. It's a venue with everything already built in, including the wedding planner. You can customize as much as you want to, or let them do all the work for you (which we chose to go with). They will work directly with your vendors and coordinate everything. Megan basically read my mind and created the wedding of my dreams. She's also an amazing person and super fun to hang out with, so wedding planning was always a blast! She answered all of my and my mom's crazy emails that we sent at all hours of the night (and looked at all of my pictures of our cats) always with a smile on her face. She worked extremely hard to make sure everything was perfect for us. Everything went SO smoothly the day of the wedding. Megan and Rika either had everything under control from the get go or they were just amazing at solving whatever problems popped up along the way. Either way, I knew nothing of any issues whatsoever and was able to fully focus on the perfect day and the most amazing celebration. Everyone had an absolute blast and kept talking about how it was the best wedding they had ever been to (objective fact). It was the best day of my life and I would absolutely recommend Eagle Ridge as a venue to anyone who's looking.

Eagle Ridge was the most beautiful place we had ever seen when we were touring venues. We loved the outdoor space, the indoor space, the hotel, the service, everything. Megan was incredibly helpful and sweet. She had answers for everything. We live 3 hours from Galena, so planning a wedding from afar could've been challenging, but Megan made it easy and fun. We had the most beautiful photos thanks to Unposed Photography. The ballrooms are huge, perfect for large weddings. My favorite part was the wood beams across the ceiling. It didn't feel tight or dark ever. They have a great outdoor balcony that surrounds the ballrooms for some fresh air. Couldn't have been happier with Eagle Ridge. I cannot wait to celebrate anniversaries and family get togethers here for a long time to come! Thank you every at Eagle Ridge for providing us with the wedding of our dreams.

After the scenic drive from the suburbs to Galena, I was excited, but seeing the scenic view from the ceremony & reception ballroom, I was sold! The coordinator, Megan, was absolutely fabulous! There are not enough kind things to say about her and her eagerness to make the day perfect! She made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. Can't say the same about everyone on the eagle ridge staff but really who can? The overall experience was flawless and truly the best day ever!!! Just a tip: be sure to remind them to open the blinds all the way if that's what you want. Day of I wasn't paying attention to the windows but after getting my photos back they are hard to miss.

Eagle Ridge was the perfect location for my wedding ceremony and reception. They are truly the best at what they do. Megan Carter, the on-site wedding coordinator, is so amazing. She coordinated all of the vendors, delivery and take down schedules, and made sure everything was planned down to the minute. Hands down the best experience I could have ever hoped for.

This was the perfect venue for our large wedding (180 guests). Our guests loved the property and all of the lodging options available to us. Everything went off without a hitch, Megan and her team were so helpful and on top of everything throughout the planning process. I didn't have to worry about a thing. The reception space was beautiful and the photos taken there turned out really well. The food was good, there were many options to choose from. The chef was very flexible and open to suggestions and questions throughout the planning process. The spa did a great job getting us all ready for the wedding, it was nice that they were right on property. Overall, we would highly recommend Eagle Ridge for any size wedding. I am sure it is especially beautiful in fall and summer when you can utilize the outdoor spaces, too.

Our September 2015 wedding at Eagle Ridge was spectacular! Megan and her team worked with us to make our vision come true, only better. They were responsive and professional, and so very helpful. Planning was easy and fun. No additional wedding coordinator was necessary. The food was great -- we used their catering and cake baker, Wedding Day bakery. The Point Patio location was lovely, and we went with a full tent liner which was just perfect. Everyone had a great time and we will return to Eagle Ridge to relive the happy memories often!

Eagle Ridge is amazing. We were wowed by everything from the very start to the very end, and even thereafter. Megan (the wedding coordinator there) is super helpful and very prompt with her responses. She was very enthusiastic about our wedding and helped with anything she possibly could, even the details that I hadn’t even thought of. Eagle Ridge has many weddings under their belt and they absolutely know what they’re doing. They do an amazing job of putting you in contact with vendors if needed, like my last minute request to have string lighting in our fabric treatment and to have a backdrop for our head table. I thought it wasn’t something we could do but I just mentioned it to Megan close to our wedding and BAM she put me in touch with their fabric/lighting guy and it turned out beautifully. The staff at ER is very helpful and welcoming. I kept hearing compliments from all our guests about how beautiful the place was, how helpful everyone is, and they were all blown away by the lodging. Prices are super reasonable. They do not nickel and dime you which we really appreciated. When we first started researching venues, it seemed like every place had a cake cutting fee. It was like $2 for cutting each piece, which is like the price of the cake if you’re just getting a straight up buttercream cake. I think that’s just ridiculous! I’d cut my own cake then lol but I loved that they weren’t super stingy about charging us up the wazoo wherever they could. The prices were very good and didn’t detract from the quality. They are definitely worth every penny. With all their experience with previous weddings, their logistics are on point. Multiple times I would be worried about how certain items would get where they need to be or the timing of events, and Megan was very good with her ideas and reasoning. I love Megan; our wedding wouldn’t have been what it was without her (and Kelsey, our other wedding coordinator at ER in the beginning, props to her too!). A lot of it was my little random ideas for our wedding but she was integral with the execution of it and helped keep me in check with the end goal. She’s wonderful and anyone would be lucky to have her as their wedding coordinator! I still suggest ER to our newly engaged friends even though I want to keep it for myself lol.

Megan and the whole crew were excellent from the planning process all the way through the event. I would highly recommend this venue.

Our wedding was at Eagle Ridge in September 2015. From the beginning the staff at Eagle Ridge and specifically Megan Carter were great to work with and truly made our day spectacular. Our cocktail hour was out on the Point Patio and our reception was in the Ballroom. We had so many compliments on how beautiful the resort and wedding were. Our guests loved that they could rent houses to stay in and several people took advantage of golf and other amenities of Eagle Ridge. For a semi-destination wedding we couldn't have asked for a better day. Megan was our go to person the entire year of planning and the day of the wedding. She was always available to answer any of my detailed questions and ensure we were on top of the planning process. We were able to form a great relationship where we trusted her on the wedding day to set up the decorations,floor plans, etc. without questions. Thanks Megan and Eagle Ridge!

Eagle Ridge is in a beautiful location which is why we picked it. We lucked out and had a beautiful day. Everything went smoothly and their wedding coordinators helped me with everything. Only a few hiccups- there were a few errors in the seating chart that they didn't catch and some other minor details such as the lighting not being appropriate for some of the dances at the start of the night. Also, sound of the music was a bit low, but that was probably the fault of the DJs.

I can not say enough great things about Eagle Ridge and the entire staff! Our wedding weekend was absolutely flawless and we thank the Eagle Ridge staff for that! The drinks, food, service and dedication to making our wedding amazing was beyond our expectations. I highly recommend ER as a wedding venue and know you will not be disappointed!

I cannot say enough about the attentive service, fabulous food and accommodating polite workers at Eagle Ridge. Megan, the Wedding Coordinator was outstanding! Since Megan will be getting married next month she was very sympathetic and helpful to my daughter by taking care of things by going above and beyond to keep my daughter stress free. I was confident that everything would go smoothly because of Megan's attention to detail and perfection. Thank you Eagle Ridge and your staff for a beautifl wedding day for my daughter!

Jackie Hibbard and her staff put together an incredible event. From start to finish they were wonderful! The entire staff is patient, thorough, accommodating, and helpful! They made our wedding day so special! The venue itself is incredible looking. Our guests could not believe we were still in Illinois! Neither could we the first time we visited. We are so excited to have such a gorgeous place to visit on our anniversary!

The staff at Eagle Ridge is experienced and professional and think of so many details I didn't to ensure the day ran smoothly. The food was worth the cost, completely delicious and beautifully plated with a flower. Of course the venue is beautiful! We were married on the Point Patio over looking the lake, and guests said it seemed like a fairy tale or a dream setting. Our reception was in the Galena rooms which is smaller and less popular than the ballroom but still seemed more than spacious enough for our 150 guests. We didn't hear or see anyone from the party in the ballroom above, it really seemed as if the entire staff was focused soley on us.

The facilities and service at Eagle Ridge were perfect; I received so many compliments on each. Jackie, my day of wedding coordinator went above and beyond (well beyond just the day of). She took pictures of different vacation rental homes for us to use for our rehearsal dinner and even coordinated with the owner and facilities to make sure our tent was setup without hitting the septic. She also found us a bartender for our rehearsal dinner (even though we weren't having it on premesis) and met our cupcake vendor at 10 PM the night before the wedding to meet the delivery when they were late and we were already at our rehearsal dinner. Finally she was just on top of everything - I was so relaxed and didn't worry about a thing after the last schedule review the morning before the wedding. My guests complimented us on having bartenders that were "real" bartenders and the serving staff was so attentive that they had memorized the dietary restrictions at each table, found additional gluten free dessert when we ran out and brought blankets and pillows out for my nieces and nephews as they fell asleep. The spa did a great job on our hair and makeup and it was so wonderful to have a room all to ourselves where they came to us to do our hair and makeup - we didn’t have to run from location to location for hair, nails, makeup and to get dressed – everything was all brought to us. No regrets - I can't imagine it being any better.

My husband and I were looking for a venue that combined the beauty of nature with a romantic elegance and Eagle Ridge was perfect!!! Jackie (our venue coordinator) was a huge help in making our day come together with absolutely no issues. We had a little hiccup in the morning that involved a BM going to the ER, but the venue worked with us to ensure that upon her return (thank goodness), she was able to get ready and be a part of our special day. The comments that we had from guests regarding the space, food and service were all very positive. It was nice to have so many people pleasantly surprised by the quality of everything that was provided for the occassion. The bar manager, Byron, also went above and beyond finding the last remaining bottle of my hubby's fave beer and saving it for him! It was a very nice surprise and obviously showed that they pay attention to their guests to try and make the time here memorable. Every single person that we interacted with during our entire stay was beyond our expectations. This was a destination wedding for us as we are located in the Chicagoland area and I felt that the value of this venue was far better than any that we could find in our local area, and there are A LOT in our local area. We have been frequenting the Galena, IL area for most of our lives beginning as children and will continue to visit the area together. I could not be happier with the way everything turned out and would recommend this venue to anyone and everyone! The whole event came together better than I ever could have imagined. Thank you Eagle Ridge for making our special day the best it ever could have been!

We had such a great time here!! The service was wonderful and the food was amazing!! The spa was also great!! Galena was wonderful as well! We would definitely stay there again!

Our reception was PERFECT! Everything was set up exactly how we had planned and the whole evening went off with zero problems. It was absolutely BEAUTIFUL, the entire staff of people that we worked with were friendly and helpful and really went above and beyond to make sure our day was everything and more than what we wanted.

Our wedding turned out better then I could have ever imagined! The wedding coordinator was/is amazing!!! The food was out of this world great! The stay was nice.

From the buffet for our rehearsal dinner to the plated dinner at our wedding reception...the food was delicious. You will not leave this place hungry! The food was hot..service was very efficient....wait staff was beyond accommodating.

Eagle Ridge was the perfect venue! Their wedding coordinator, Angie, was organized and thoughtful. She made every moment run smoothly. I think she even prevented the rain that tried to fall. We were out on the Point Patio and the lake behind us was a perfect backdrop. I couldn't imagine a better place. They have a huge tent for out door weddings. When the sun set and it got chilly, they turned on outdoor heaters, which worked wonders. The scenery made our photos extra special. We got a complimentary suit on our wedding night which was beautiful, the food was delicious, the bar was flowing, I just can't say enough good things about my wedding at Eagle Ridge. My dad paid for everything so I don't know how much it cost, but as he said, "you only get married once so it's worth any price!"

The moment my husband and I visited Eagle Ridge and met with Angie for the first time, we knew it was going to be the place to hold our wedding reception. We chose Eagle Ridge not only for it’s beautiful views (filled with green trees overlooking the lake) and large ballroom layout, but because we knew collaborating with Angie would be fun and easy, and it was! Throughout the wedding planning process Angie was very responsive. Living in the Chicago land area, I relied heavily on email when contacting vendors. I was constantly emailing Angie with various inquiries and she was always quick to respond answering all my questions. Eagle Ridge even allowed us to bring in a lot of our own supplies (which at a lot of venues, is a big no no). My mother made table runners for every table, we brought mason jars with candles for the patio, and various other things such as additional candle votives (we were allowed to bring our own rather than renting them through Eagle Ridge) and a bottle of vintage champagne my husband surprised me with. The day of the wedding was amazing. Everything went smoothly and according to plan. Angie and her team were there to assist with everything. I’m still receiving compliments from guests saying it was the most beautiful wedding they’ve ever been to. If you are thinking of having your wedding at Eagle Ridge, do it! It is a unique setting and Angie is so fun to work with. Thanks Eagle Ridge for an unforgettable wedding for my guests and I!

Absolutely perfect! Beautiful location withe a great coordinator, who was always willing to take my calls! I wouldn't have done anything differently. All of my guests loved traveling out to Galena and enjoying the wonderful atmosphere!
