Sabiha and her team blew us away. She was fantastic to work with from the beginning, and once the wedding got closer it became clear just how much hard work she puts in and how organized and streamlined the process is. Weddings are stressful, and they worked hard to minimize the stress. For example, we thought we'd have to carve time out of our day to set up some of the "extras" on our tables, but she said it would be easier for her team to do it. They also let us pick everything up the next morning, so there isn't the end of night scrambling like some venues require. They also coordinated directly with our other vendors to coordinate drop off so we didn't have to be the middle man on our big day. The view can't be beat in Burlington, and we had a lot of kids that enjoyed use of the museum. Sugarsnap is their exclusive caterer and did an amazing job as well, our guests continue to tell us how good the food was! A huge bonus that the money goes towards STEM education. We are SO happy we picked Echo!
We got married at the Echo Center on 9/14/24. We had such an amazing wedding, all thanks to the incredible work of Sabiha, Kelsey, and the rest of the incredible staff. They were all organized, professional, and available for any questions we had throughout the entire planning process. The venue was everything we could have asked for, and our guests LOVED the availability of dancing, beautiful views, and activities. We even had kiddos that got to stay out later than expected, they were having such a good time. Thank you to all for making our day so special!
We held our wedding celebration at ECHO in mid-August. Everyone we worked with was lovely and we had a great experience! Sabiha and her staff were responsive and always happy to help.
Sabiha, Kelsey, and the entire ECHO team made our event wonderful and flawless; we loved the ability to seamlessly move between inside the venue and the outdoor patios, the mountain and lake views were spectacular, and they went above and beyond to create a special lighted outdoor seating section for folks who didn't want to be directly across from the band.
Martin and his bar/waitstaff at Sugarsnap catering were extremely helpful and gracious and provided an array of exciting food options. Additionally, we hired babysitters to be on-site for the 20+ children attending our event and received rave reviews from the kids who were able to explore the entire center!
Highly, highly recommend ECHO for an event!
I could not have asked for a better venue. It hit all of our very specific checkboxes that we assumed we wouldn't get all of, but wow did they deliver: outdoor ceremony space, indoor reception space, built-in entertainment (it's a hands-on museum!), not much decoration needed from us, well-treated animals, event coordinator included in package, non-profit, big enough to fit my very large extended family if every single person showed up but small enough so that it wouldn't look empty if a lot of people didn't. Having been to several weddings where the wedding party had to go straight from party mode to "you have half an hour to clean up everything you brought" at the end of the night, I was really grateful that they cleaned everything up for us. Kelsey & Sabiha supported us every step of the way and made it so easy to plan from out of state!
The ECHO staff was amazing. Everything was set up and ready when we showed up for the ceremony. Meg was my contact and she was a pleasure to work with. Guests had a great time exploring and learning about the lake. I highly recommend ECHO for both ceremony and reception.
We had our ceremony here on the back deck. It's a beautiful location, especially at sunset. They were also accommodating when I wanted to try out different decorations and stopped by a few times. A few things to note: it will be VERY WINDY!! I had a pedestal that actually toppled over and broke in the wind. The aisle runner I used had to be weighed down with rocks. Also, you can't get in any earlier than 5 p.m. This includes your guests. If anybody wants to wait in the lobby, they will be asked to pay admission if it is before 5 p.m. You also have to rent the chairs from them. But other than that it was a great deal. $450 for 1 hour and 75 chairs.
Always interesting and worth the money!
I absolutely *loved* having my wedding at ECHO. We had both our ceremony and reception there, and it was perfect. My fiance and I loved the uniqueness of the building, the location next to both the lake and downtown, and the fact that our money was going to an organization that helps the lake we love so much. After the wedding, I am now grateful we chose ECHO for two main reasons:
1) The ceremony rain plan (the covered patio area on the first level). It poured on our day, but that patio was transformed by our flowers and globe lights and was just beautiful.
and
2) Kids! We had a lot of them at our wedding, and since ECHO is made for kids, they (and their parents) had a great time.
I had so many guests tell me how much they loved the location--that they wouldn't have thought of it for a wedding, but it turned out to be just perfect.
I was a guest at my cousins wedding that was held at ECHO. I did help her a bit with her wedding plans and from what I saw ECHO event staff was wonderful to work with! This venue is beautiful and right on the waterfront. They had their wedding during the winter but still had an amazing view of Lake Champlain and stayed warm inside! It was a beautiful affair and I would defiantly recommend ECHO for your ceremony or reception!
