The Edison Ballroom is one of New Yorks most elegant multi-level private events spaces, featuring a mezzanine, VIP Lounge, and Main Ballroom - all equipped with their own premium bars. This historical venue originally opened in the 1930’s as the Grand Ballroom of the adjacent Edison Hotel. It reopened in 2008 after a multi-million dollar renovation that preserved its original style. The venue provides a modern art deco setting where guests can enjoy their time in a comfortable environment that is adaptable to any number of seating arrangements. With an in-house celebrity chef, each event menu is personally customized!

This was the perfect venue for our black tie winter wedding (175 guests). The food was incredible (and bountiful), the drinks were top quality, the staff was superb, the sound and lighting flawless. Alexa does a great job coordinating the day-of and helping set up, absolutely no need for a wedding planner. The band sounded amazing and plugged right into the existing sound system. We had both the ceremony and reception at The Edison Ballroom and the team was able to ‘flip’ the room behind the scenes during cocktail hour- true professionals. I only wish the night could have lasted longer!

The venue is absolutely stunning, and the staff is professional, detailed, and thoughtful. We couldn't have asked for a better experience, from the careful planning to the celebration itself. The Edison gave us the perfect wedding, and we wish we could do it all over again! -Patrick & Barbara

My husband I held our reception at the Edison Ballroom and all I can say is that is was absolutely AMAZING! The staff was exceptional and extremely professional, the food was fantastic, lighting and sound was incredible. It truly was a once in a lifetime experience and if I had the opportunity to do it again I would in a heart beat! We have been to some of our friend’s weddings following ours and they still to this day talk about our wedding being the best one that they have ever been to! Words can not express the amount of gratitude that I have for everyone that helped make our night the best day of our lives and they will always hold a special place in our hearts! Thank you Edison Ballroom!

We held our Black Tie wedding here on 10/20/18 and could not be happier with our selection. Ever since the beginning, Alexa and Bill went above and beyond to ensure our day was absolutely perfect. The venue is stunning and lends itself very well to a black tie NYC wedding - the pictures don't do it justice. Food was a huge priority for us, and the food was exceptional. Our friends are still talking about how it was some of the best food they've ever had at a wedding. The cocktail hour was insane. Service was exceptional as well - we had a "shadow" the night of our wedding who flawless. Every little request and nuance we asked the team for, they delivered on - in fact, over-delivered on. Edison Ballroom crushed every single detail of it, and our guests won't stop commenting on what an amazing wedding we had.

We had our wedding (ceremony and reception) at the Edison Ballroom with about 175 guests and it was amazing! The venue's space is unparalleled in Manhattan for the price, the food and drinks were great, and the staff was professional, punctual and made the night a breeze. We worked with Alexa who was extremely supportive at every step of the process and executed flawlessly. Our guests loved the fun vibe of the space and all the room to dance. So glad we picked the Edison Ballroom!

My husband and I held our Black-Tie Wedding Ceremony and Reception at The Edison Ballroom on November 13, 2015. It exceeded every expectation that we had. The Art Deco space is stunning and was everything we were looking for in a wedding venue. The service was phenomenal. The night of our wedding, we had a designated server to take care of us every step of the way. Even making sure that no one entered the bathroom while my bridesmaids helped me adjust by gown. Our guests said that the service they received was impeccable as well. The food was out of this world. There was quite a long list of food options for the cocktail hour, all were delicious. The sushi station was a big hit! For dinner we chose a basil crusted salmon served with cous-cous and a baked tomato, as well as filet mignon with asparagus and mashed potatoes. Our guests enjoyed both options and raved about them! The silent vegetarian option was also well received by our non-carniverous guests. Their entire bar selection is top shelf! We live in NYC, but stayed at the Hotel Edison next door during the wedding week. We were able to transport our decor items the morning of the wedding, and The Edison Ballroom staff went above and beyond to help us out and make sure that everything was perfect. The lights, the sound, the direction we received during our procession, and the speed at which they could flip the ceremony set up in the ballroom, to a reception in under an hour was nothing short of miraculous. We dealt primarily with Katherine and Bill and both were beyond accomodating and helpful. There were 230 guests in attendance and it was the perfect amount of space for dinner and dancing.

Best Venue!!! The Edison Ballroom was the perfect setting for my wedding. They are so helpful and professional. The food was absolutely amazing and I cant say enough good words about this venue. Thank you for making my wedding everything I could have ever wished for and more.

We had our wedding at the Edison Ballroom and couldn't be happier with the entire event! We were originally scheduled to have our wedding somewhere else but when they could no longer host our event we found the Edison and now we can't imagine how we ever looked elsewhere. Every detail was taken care of to perfection. The food was the best wedding food we've ever had and the staff was so professional but friendly. Everything looked gorgeous. Guests are still talking about how different and special our venue was. We had the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all there and everything was treated as it's own event. It was perfection and we're so thankful to Michele and the entire staff for giving us the best night of our lives!

We absolutely LOVED this venue. It is very beautiful, staff is friendly and food is amazing. We had no problems with access to the site before the wedding or the day of. Every one of our guests enjoyed every single spot and amenity the ballroom had to offer.
