From the first inquiry email up through the end of our 2-day wedding weekend in the Catskills, it was truly a wonderful experience working with Elena as our photographer. My husband and I honestly feel so lucky that she was available on our wedding date in September 2023 when we booked her wedding photography services 14 months in advance. Elena is not only the warmest, kindest human being, but she makes her subjects feel so at ease and comfortable. What drew me most to Elena’s work was her eye for capturing natural and candid moments, and I love her use of natural light and the surrounding environment. Her photography is timeless and evokes so much emotion. I also loved how Elena offers rehearsal dinner photography coverage - my husband and I hosted a 2-day Indian-Fusion wedding, and Elena was there, weaving her way amongst the dancing, drumming, and celebrations with such grace and ease on both occasions! The most amazing part of our wedding was late night on our reception, Elena found me on the dance floor and asked for either my or my husband’s phone. She literally airdropped like 100 of the highlight photographs straight from our wedding day, which we were absolutely FLOORED by, and have been cherishing every day since. We can’t wait to design our wedding albums with Elena, and look forward to working with her again in the future. Elena Wolfe is hands-down the most incredible photographer, and we cannot thank her enough for her talents!

Not even sure where to begin... We booked our original photographer super far out (a recommendation from Elena, actually, as she wasn't booking yet) who ended up having a baby shorty before our wedding. I always loved Elena's work so we circled back and luckily she was available and agreed to shoot our wedding! From the start she made what could've been a stressful shift totally seamless and easy. Her style is gorgeous and speaks for itself, but Elena was also so sweet, calm and thoughtful throughout the entire wedding day. When the lights came on at the end of our reception, I looked to my left and couldn't believe Elena was still standing there telling me to check my phone for a surprise. Unbeknownst to me she had my maid of honor unlock my phone and then airdropped me and my husband 100 photos right then and there. We haven't stopped looking at them since, and can't even imagine how spectacular the rest of our photos will be when we get them back. If you want natural, timeless pictures that capture every smile, laugh and tear, Elena is an artist and a warm presence. We can't recommend her enough.

We loved having Elena as our wedding photographer! Our photos are AMAZING - she really captured all of the amazing moments of our wedding. I loved that she and her staff blended into the wedding seamlessly and got so many intimate moments from the event. We were looking for someone laid back yet professional and we were so thrilled to have Elena there for our big day!

Absolutely amazing!! Elena's photography is stunning!! Every photo tells a story and every photo is perfect. I fell in love with her work the first time I saw it. She made my wedding look like a fairytale theough photos!

Elena was recommended to me by a friend who recently got married. Once I saw Elena's work, I knew she was the perfect person to photograph Vinnie and I's wedding! Leading up to the wedding, Elena was extremely professional and responsive. I had complete confidence in her. She made me feel at ease, which is what every bride needs leading up to her wedding day! On the day of the wedding, Elena and her assistants were extremely courteous and respectful during the church services. At the reception, Elena was organized and efficient in getting all of our family group photos orchestrated. She captured special moments of my husband and I - ones that we will cherish forever. All of the photos I received are absolutely stunning. Going through them all with Vinnie - we were like kids on Christmas morning. Each photo was more gorgeous than the next! Elena, thank you for easing my wedding stresses and capturing the best day of Vinnie and I's lives! We're going to cherish these gorgeous photos forever. Thank you, thank you, thank you! my husband, Adam, and my family had the wonderful privilege of having elena as a wedding photographer for our fall wedding last October. We found out about Elena in a very serendipitous way when we decided to expand our search out to the Hudson Valley area. We've been looking for someone whose photos had a very organic feel to them. My husband and I wanted someone who could make us feel at ease in front of the camera without the shots being too stylized. Elena had this natural way of making us smile, laugh and feel serene during the pictorial. Elena not only has the talent, she's also methodical and organized in her approach. Our initial consultation we spoke to her via Skype for more than an hour, she explained her process, the nuances in film v digital photography, and the various times to consider for the pictorial so we could have the most optimal lighting possible for the day. We had several equally detailed consultations after that to discuss family portraits, couple portraits, etc... The day before the wedding we had a walkthrough in the gardens where we were having our pictorial. Elena met us there, and had already scoped out the place for ideal shot locations when my husband and my siblings arrived. She took us to the spots where she thought would look great and gave us both technical and artistic explanations why it would or would not work. She also had the timing down pat! We knew we were in good hands. Elena's personality and work captures what is ephemeral and true, we loved working with her, she made our wedding day very very special. Thank you Elena! - Abi

After researching wedding photographers for a while, I came across Elena Wolfe. From the moment, I saw her work, I was drawn to her organic, natural photos. Although our wedding isn't until 2016, she recently did our engagement photos. My fiancé and I felt extremely comfortable with her. She guided us through everything, and which poses looked best. I would recommend her to every bride! My fiancé and I are looking forward to having her photograph our wedding day!!! :) She is the best!!!

My husband and I found Elena Wolfe's work when we were looking for our wedding photographer. From the first conversation to the delivery of the photographs, her professionalism was impeccable. Very organized, thorough and has great attention to detail, she did not miss anything at our wedding. Photos came out perfect, just beautiful and she made our special day (also stressful, exciting and chaotic :)) easy going and worry-free. Her color senses, detail, and vision truly captured our wedding's essence and beauty. We cannot thank her enough!
