Elk View Inn

First the bad and there is a lot of bad! No internet except around the bar area but nothing in the rooms - any rooms! No cell phone service and the land line was down for some unexplained reason. We could not make or receive anything form the outside world. However, the Bear Lodge 2 miles away had phone service and internet in the rooms. The game room was an absolute joke! Sure there was a pool table but no balls! There was a foosball table with no balls! And the air hockey table did not blow air so the puck did not float at all. There was no stationary or pen/pencil in the rooms. If you needed something, you had better bring it with you. For instance, the mosquitos were in bloom and the gift shop was out of spray. Make sure you don't need to buy gas because it is over a dollar higher than in Dayton, 27 miles down the mountain. Now the good. The scenery is great and the price for rooms is not out of line. The food was pretty good. Also the pool area was nice, except for the occasional mouse that would slip under a side door. One of my required items is hot water and there was always plenty of that.

We got married in the big horns and had the reception at elk view inn the food and customer service was great Corey and Dawnie are amazing!
