Ella's Garden

My first issue was the extra venue time I had done a first look and got ready at the venue and before we booked the owner recommended doing photos before if we wanted more venue time and that wouldn’t cut into our time. The package did say 4 hr event and 3 hr dress ,but I told her I wanted to get ready 1130am and take photos starting at 3pm. Based off how she worded it I didn’t understand it would be an additional charge. (It did state in the contract extra dress time would be additional) This could have been cleared up before hand … when I added arrival time in early Dec nothing was said ,and asked if I owed anything additional in late February she said I was all paid up. She also did send me the excel spreadsheet that was very confusing since I don’t use excel meant to show me everything I paid for and what was owed but when sent was never completely accurate/ updated. I was also very stressed at this point because it was 3 weeks before my wedding and I was the one following up on it which is why I even received it then. I also did not bring a lot of decor just a few signs and party favors to put out, It was a nice touch she had a basket that held the candy I brought; however the bags of flower petals that I wanted to be thrown on us after getting married were never placed on the chairs. When I brought this up to her she insisted they were. I recently provided video of the chairs where you can clearly see no petals and all I got was an I’m sorry I missed that detail. I’m very disappointed because not only did I spend money on them and not get them back; I felt gaslighted and missed out on a photo I really wanted. One other thing to note is they send a DJ list of what you do and don’t want him to play and give a bunch of popular ones we had selected not to play the wobble and it was still played. We also requested our first song be cutoff after 1.5 minutes (we’re not dancers) and my husband had to do the throat thing like that’s enough. Other that that the DJ was great read the room really well and all the music flowed nicely for all the different things we were doing. The bar was supply it yourself which saved us a bunch of money just had to pay the bar fee of $150 and the alcohol I made bar menus and had signature drinks. I informed the owner how they were supposed to be made. The bar tender was making them wrong and putting triple sec in the berry lemonade. My mom told her she was making it wrong since she helped me decide and the bar tender told her no so I went up there and had to tell her how they were supposed to be made. I also want to clarify that when they say a simply 3 tiered cake is included in the price they mean plain white buttercream and the cake anything else will cost you $50 (for adding color) + and did not feel that was accurately represented to us. Though the cake was beautiful and delicious. The owner(who is the day of coordinator) is very nice ,but it seems she has to much on her plate letting my special day and the thing I wanted be just a small details she forgot.

I had a small wedding, it was perfect than what I imagined. With this venue, you already have the caterer, cake and DJ, all you need to find is a photographer and the officiant. Rachel will make your dream come true! All my Pinterest ideas came to life! Highly recommend <3

I was a bit skeptical at first just like I was about most things on this journey. However, Rachael was there to ease it. Ella's Garden was perfect for us! It had everything we needed and Rachael is very attentive. She made sure that our big day went very smooth, and it did. She is easily reachable, great to work with and the venue is beautiful. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out to her. For any of my questions I was able to send her a quick email and if I ever wanted to go back to the venue to go over things she would have us out. She will take care of you!

I just wanted to give Rachael and Ella's Garden Wedding Venue a huge shout out and review. When I got engaged in the middle of the pandemic, Rachael still gave us a tour. My fiancé and I at the time had promised before we toured to not say yes to the venue right away. That we would leave, think about it, and then make the decision. We had already seen a few other venues and had a few more to tour that week. Yet, from the moment we arrived and toured the grounds we knew. We pulled each other outside and were excitedly talking over one another “I know we said but..”. We booked with Rachael for our wedding day (3/2/21) and couldn’t wait until our day came. Well after months of waiting the day arrived, during the time leading up to this Rachael would keep in contact via emails and text and she was amazing about everything. She did such an amazing job making sure that the whole experience from the arrival of my bridal party to the arrival of the groom’s part, to the ceremony to the reception went smoothly. She helped with bustling my dress after pictures and was great about everything. Our wedding would have been good without Rachael and Ella’s Garden; however it was made magical because of them. I think they were worth every dime spent (they are reasonably priced for being an all inclusive venue and providing a variety of services). So this is a huge thank you to Rachael and Ella’s Garden!!
