Fantastic and BEAUTIFUL venue. From the linens to the over hear lights that shone on our floral centerpieces Empress Banquets made our wedding beautiful and special. The food was the best wedding food I have ever had and all of our guests said the same!!

We couldn't have found a better reception venue. The staff there are so nice and accommodating. They really go the extra mile to make sure your day is just the way you want it. The food was exceptional! I highly recommend them.

We were very happy with most of our experience from beginning to end. From Gus, the owner, to Carmela and the staff were great. They were very accommodating and flexible with our requests. The reason why I gave four stars instead of five was due to one of the bartenders working that night on our big day. He was extremely rude to our guests and at one point to my husband and I. He acted like he could not hear or understand our guests when asking for drinks and the service provided by him was very disappointing. Unfortunately, even though there were two bars open that night, he was stationed in the bar with the most convenient location for our guests. Therefore, his had most of the interaction with everyone that night. Till this day, everyone talks about what a great time they had, except "for the bartender."

My husband and I fell in love with the Empress as soon as we stepped foot into it. They were extremely easy to work with, Gus and Carmela were the best. They were very flexible with what we wanted and could afford. They responded to emails with any questions that I had promptly. All of our guests commented on how great and delicious the hors-d'oeuvres were and the dinner, steak and chicken combo. The waiters were amazing and very nice. My husband and I are extremely happy with how the venue looked when we got there and wouldn't change a thing!

All I can say is WOW! Empress Banquets and their stellar staff gave my husband and I the wedding of our dreams! We had a limited decor budget, but to be honest, we didn't need much because the space is breath-taking! The food - phenomenal! My guests are still raving about the food. Tip: GET THE SWEET TABLE! It's absolutely worth it! Guests were over there all night - it was certainly one of the highlights of the evening! The staff was amazing - all my questions were answered and everyone was so accommodating to both the guests and the wedding party! Thank you for making the day magical!

You will not be disappointed. Those are the five words that emerge from my mouth when I speak about the job done by Gus, Bill, and Carmela to ensure that my wife and I had a fantastic wedding. After a while, banquet halls all appear to be similar, but not the Empress. The Empress Team (Gus, Bill, and Carmela) separate themselves from the rest of the pack in a number of ways. They did everything possible to ensure that the wedding went smoothly. They worked with us to ensure that the price of the event would be reasonable. You will not find a better price and you will not be disappointed with what you get for that price (pretty much everything). They took the time to listen and to give my wife and I what we wanted. They accommodated us every step of the way. In the week up to the wedding, they made sure to touch base with us to ensure that everything was proceeding as planned leading up to the event, even if it wasn't about the venue or the food. The day before the wedding, our limousine company could not provide us with a limo due to complications outside their control. I asked Gus who he recommended and he gave me two names to run with immediately. I appreciated that. Then came the big day - the food was amazing; better than our tasting. The appetizers and dessert table (from what we saw and heard) were spectacular - fresh, laid out in a professional and classy fashion, and delicious. The room itself, while decorated by a different company, was lit up perfectly. Pin spots highlighted the beautiful flowers and the up lighting gave the room a calm, relaxed feeling. The open bar kept the drinks flowing and the alcohol kept our guests happy. We are still receiving compliments about the wedding. Lastly, Gus was fantastic to work with and his main priority for us was to make sure that the event looked good and went smoothly. I cannot express my thanks enough - not only did the team's accessibility and willingness to worm with us make our life easier, it gave my wife the wedding she wanted. You will not be disappointed if you choose the Empress.

We have had nothing but compliments on our venue from our guests. The food and ambience were spot on. Now on the other hand a few gripes I had. A few of the servers were taking plates from guests before they were done with their entrees. The servers were also walking on the dance floor during my first dance with my new husband and with my father aswell. It's not like they couldn't walk it between the tables. But they are in quite a few pictures. I'm trying to find someone to edit them out. Dealing with the people in the office was probably my least favorite part. From trying to get a hold of someone to talking to 4 different people about details for the wedding, it was frustrating to say the least. Just make sure you literally only deal with Gus the owner. It makes things easier and if you do deal with anyone other than him just make sure you have every detail in writing. It will help take some stress off your shoulders the week of the wedding or event. I wouldn't say it was a horrible experience. And I would recommend them. Just be organized because you'll save your self from back tracking and being stressed. The food was top notch. The prices were very reasonable for what you actually get. Venue, bar, food, cake, lighting, and chairs with table setups. Not priced badly at all.

We had an amazing wedding at the Empress! It was far beyond our expectations. The staff is great! Gus made everything stress free and made every request happen, no matter how insignificant it may have seemed to be. Thank you all so much for making our special day perfect and stress free!!

We just had our wedding here on April 1st. I could not be happier with how everything turned out. Gus and his staff were wonderful to work with. They went above and beyond all of my expectations with decorating and making sure everything ran smoothly. Not to mention this was the most affordable venue we could find. Highly recommend!

Everything about this venue is absolutely amazing. The decor, the atmosphere, the food and drinks. Gus will help you every step of the way to making your wedding absolute perfection! My wedding turned out amazing and I wish I could do it over and over again!

I loved Empress banquets...the decor was my favorite part and the reason why we chose Empress for our reception in the first place. Gus is so great to deal with, he truly makes your wedding special. The food was fabulous...all of our guests came up to me at the reception and told us how good the food was. Empress truly gave me the wedding of my dreams. They made the room exactly what I wanted and how I wanted it, down to every last detail. I walked into my own reception and started crying because of how perfect it looked and how perfect the whole night was thanks to Empress. I am so so happy that we chose them for our wedding reception. I would do it 100 times over!

I came across Empress through one of my friends who had posted pictures of a reception they had attended. I immediately thought it must have been a place in the city. Lo and behold, it was Empress. Perfect for us, it was located in the suburbs which is exactly where we had been looking to have our wedding. We went to five venues, but the Empress stood out. Not only was the location ideal, the ambiance was perfect as it was the exact look I wanted. From our initial meeting with Gus, he seemed genuinely interested in meeting our needs and was very accommodating. I was anxious about the food but he offered for us to have a tasting before even signing the contract. It was an easy decision and we immediately signed. As for the day of the wedding, everything went smoothly. The guests commented on how delicious everything tasted down to the soup that was served. It was a relief to hear these positive comments because wedding food is always memorable (especially when it’s bad)! We had a large wedding and there was some last minute hecticness, yet his team was patient and understanding through it all. I didn’t have to worry about anything and they were so gracious in handling it all. The venue was certainly beautiful and the pictures turned out great. Empress exceeded our expectations. I would not hesitate to work with Gus and his team again. Empress Banquets was one of the best and easiest choices of our wedding.

Did not even answer my calls, Looks like they don't care for business. Wanted to see if they had an opening for a wedding reception and wanted to set an appointment to check the place out. Called twice and no one returned a call. Definitely does not deserve my business.

I just had my wedding at the Empress two weeks ago and everything was perfect. Gus and Tammy are amazing at making everything beautiful and catering to your needs. The food was delicious and the steaks were cooked perfectly. I've been getting non stop phone calls about how amazing everything was.

I have nothing but good things to say about the empress banquets. From day 1 we felt welcomed. We booked our wedding with the empress over a year in advance. The Empress went through an entire remodeling project and it couldn't be more marvelous than what it is now! It is beautifully decorated and the staff is absolutely amazing! Gus truly went above and beyond our requests and was very patient with our constant changes. Our guest are still talking about how beautiful the venue is and how delicious the food was!

Empress Banquets did a beautiful job on my wedding. I worked with the owner Gus, who is super sweet. Gus worked with the budget I had and was very accommodating. The hall was recently remodeled beautifully, its neutral color palette was a big plus for me as some halls use overpowering colors that clash with the palette you have for your wedding. The overall atmosphere was beautiful and elegant. You can spend less money decorating it because its so elegant. As for the food I hardly ate anything that day besides soup and salad just because your running around and greeting people but I received tons of compliments on the food from my guests-especially on the soup and pasta. Overall I had no compliments- they did an awesome job.

Hands down best food at a wedding ever!! Not just cause it was my wedding my for real!!! All my guests left happy, drunk and FULL!! Awesome service and a beautiful facility.

The Empress came very highly recommended to me by a friend and I wasn't disappointed! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The food was incredible. The banquet room was gorgeous. I can't say enoughwonderful things about the Empress! Thank you Empress!!!!!

Every one was just great they were very helpfule with everything. The room was just how we wanted it. The food was apsolutly amazing i got so many complements. I will recomend it to anyone and i will be doing all my events there in the future.

Gus and Tammy were the people that my Husband and I dealt with all the time. So I will be speaking mainly of them. However, The entire staff their helped to make our wedding a day that we will never ever forget so I truly thank them all. From the moment we walked in and sat down we felt at home. Gus and Tammy knew exactly how to make all of my ideas come to reality. They we're patient and kind and willing to go the extra mile to help us with all that we needed. Our wedding day was one for the record books because of The Empress Banquets. Everything was set up exactly the way that We envisioned it. with a few little extras added in there. I truly felt like I was surrounded by family. No task was to big or too small for them. They handled everything so wonderfully. All of my guests were so impressed with everything. The venue, The ambiance, The staff, and THE FOOD. the food was FANTASTIC, You don't even need to have a tasting. Believe me when I tell you.. The chefs are amazing. I got married a month ago and People are still telling me how good the food was. Like I said everything was great. Still waiting on wedding photos so that I can upload them.. I would tell everyone about this location and suggest them to EVERYBODY. I already have. GUS and TAMMY and the whole EMPRESS staff.. from the bottom of our hearts we thank you guys so much.. The Venue is a bit older, but Gus, the owner and his employees are very experienced and made my wedding beautiful. They included the centerpieces as part of the package and they turned out wonderfully. Aparently they were short staffed the day of my wedding. As a result, Gus, the owner, actually stepped in as a server to ensure that all meals were delivered to the table when they were still extremely warm. I highly recommend this venue.

Great food, great liquor selection, great atmosphere. They did a great job making the room look wonderful and the staff worked with me to get exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend. Please note that the police do have a check point on Saturday nights down the road from there so be sure your guests don't drink and drive!

The people were very nice and helpful. They gave lots of ideas to make my room more beautiful and enchanting. The food was great and I loved the stairs.

The room was absolutely beautiful! The new chandeliers add a perfect touch to make it more modern. The dance floor was large enough to enjoy everything. Also the cake was included from a great Italian bakery. There had to have been 2 000 candles in the room all lit by the staff. Everything was perfect.

The management staff was fantastic and so willing to work with us on 'special' needs.

We made and excellent choice by choosing Empress. The staff were incredible and paid attention to details. The gold staircase is perfect for pictures. Plus a great dancing space! Very elegant and affordable.

The decor was elegant. The food was wonderful. The manager was very helpful and friendly. He gave us extra accomodations.
